    I have never read any book about wolves and shifters and their dealings with humans. I am so glad I picked up this book as it was a good introduction to the world of paranormal writing and the series itself.

    It is written well and for a new reader to be introduced to wolves, their pack and everything else in between, it is the best book to start with.

    I loved this story about Bo and Sloane. Bo came across Sloane making a deal with Bo’s brother Winslow to get a stolen car ready to sell. Bo breaks into Sloane’s room to try to find out what she’s up to. After a passionate interlude, they discover their mutual attraction. Bo eventually finds out that Sloane is in trouble with the Mob and is stealing money to pay them to keep them from kidnapping her. After dangerous actions almost go wrong for Sloane, Bo shifts into wolf form to save her. Despite the fact it breaks to rules for shifters, Bo and Sloane fall in love and Bo marks Sloane before the pack leader can prevent their relationship from continuing. I love the humour, passion and thrilling action in this story.

    Book 2 in this series & I have to admit to really enjoying this read. I liked the main characters right from the start & enjoyed the interaction between them. This book had a nice balance of light & dark & the inclusion of characters from the Bad Boy Alphas series worked nicely. This book is a standalone, HEA read so don't feel you have to have read book 1. My only negative is that I'm astounded at the freedom that these characters (high school kids) have without being questioned by their care givers. But then again, maybe I'm just old & out of touch.

    Alpha Knight is book two in the Wolf Ridge High series by Renee Rose. The book follows the relationship of Bo and Sloane. Sloane has literally lost everything and fallen from grace. Put in a difficult situation, Sloane must do what she needs to in order to survive and that even includes getting Bo’s brother to help her out. When Bo’s brother gets himself into trouble, Bo looks at Sloane as the one to blame and he is going to do everything in his powers to make sure that she doesn’t escape from him.

    This was a good read. We had two characters that had a lot of chemistry and were willing to do anything to save their respective families. At times Bo was cocky and very sure of himself, especially when it came to teasing Sloane over, her need for him. He was pretty honest on what he would do to help Sloane and there was only a little bit of angst towards the end of the book in regards to their relationship.

    Sloane was a strong and sassy character who showed small hints of vulnerability throughout the book. There was a lot going on with her in regards to her father and what he did as well as her growing feelings for Bo, which didn’t change when she found out his secret. I liked that she gave as good as she got when it came to Bo and everything that was going on.

    Overall, a low angst read with some twist and turns, passion and a page turning storyline.

    I really liked the main male character Bo - he was possessive and yet very protective and sweet to the heroine, Sloane. At the start of the book the heroine writes Bo off as being just an athletic jock who works with cars but over the course of the book she comes to realise he is so much more than this! He's brave and loyal and unafraid to stand up for what is right. He protects those who are weaker than him. He's got a strict moral code. In short, he's a hero. I loved how the main female character, Sloane, grows over the course of the book from someone who is keeping dark secrets and hiding her feelings and true self from those around her, to become someone who is not afraid to trust the hero and to open up to him. The ending was great - moving and emotional. And let's not forget all the steamy, sexy scenes too! Magic. I am enjoying this series a lot so far.

    I loved Bo and Sloane's story. In over head and trying to protect what is left of her family brings her into Bo's world.
    When his family is brought into her danger he steps and "dogs" her every move. Dominant, caring, protective his feelings change to lust and desire and so do Sloanes. But there will be danger, deception, kidnapping, discovery and secrets revealed before they have a chance at a bonded future.
