Christian Cole

I loved her.
It took a day for me to realize she was different.
It took a night for me to realize I had to let her go.

I was reckless.
She deserved everything I couldn’t give to her.
I had someone else to worry about.

Amari Santana

I was in love with him.
It only took a few weeks for him to take over all of my thoughts.
It only took a few words for him to rip all we had to shreds and break me.

I left.
He stayed.
Now I’m back.

Awww this book 🥰, a second chance that should have been a first ! How I fell in love with Christian and Amaris story , they share this incredible chemistry that despite of all that has happened between them and the years that passed their love spark like the brightest star in the sky . They dated senior year in High School despite of all the differences between them. They loved each other and shared every minute they could ,until one day when Christian is forced to confront one of the biggest but most precious mistakes in his life and that is to be a father. The problem?Amari is not the one who is pregnant. This book is those kind of books that makes you want to keep reading just because you must know what the heroine answers or what the hero has in mind to keep trying. It’s a lovely novel about a love so strong that you are willing to sacrifice even your own happiness. ✨I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review ✨

6 years later she is back home for a new job. She has no idea he was home. She is shocked to fine out not only is he still here but he has a daughter. Ari is a bright and great kid. Christine is a wonderful father. Now that they are back in there home town. Maybe now they have a second chance!!! Second chance romance very well written. I couldn't put it down. Fell in love with these two and Ari. Beautiful story with amazing characters. You did it again GG with all your wonderful working and an amazing book!!!

This is one of those stories that i am so conflicted about. The writing is fantastic, the character development is spot on, the story flows well from beginning to end. What is the conflict, you ask... HIM, I really really wanted to like him for the decisions he made but he just made me angry. This is fiction yet it seemed to real. It was like watching a friend go through things.

It's a great story of second chances - second changes whether they were deserved or not.

    I absolutely recommend it.

The story itself is good. It has the ability to pull you in & keep you interested. IMO the timeline was a bit wonky. Sometimes you'd think something happened a week ago only to learn it was a matter of 2 days. I tend to read fast so maybe that's on me🤷. It does have the ability to be longer, cause there is times things are just left to be assumed or figured out.

If you prefer a book without cuss words, then pass on this one. The story was a hea and kind of predictable. It seemed like a quick read also.

From beginning to end this book has an emotional ride through it all. Christian and Amari could be any couple in this world today. Christian loved her enough to let her grow I to the adult she needed to be. Amari never knew why the love of her life left, but she knew she never got over him. The pain and anguish Christian and Amari go through, comes together in the end. Only character in not sure about is Katie. I just don't get how as a mom, but that is just me. Highly recommended to all to read

I really wanted to like this book. It was a decent enough plot, some feel able characters but...

Too many typos. Too many grammatical errors. Too many unbelievable characters. Principal at 24??? Yeah, no. High school football coach with 0 education or teaching certificate? Yeah... no.

I didn’t finish. Gave up when the heroine starts screaming at her best friend in an emotional tantrum you would expect from a high schooler. She just lost all depth at that point.
