    When I think of Melody Grace novels, I think sweet, sexy and unforgettable second chance romances. And her new series Sweetbriar Cove, does not disappoint. Told from dual points of view, Meant to Be follows the story of Poppy and Cooper. As a romance writer, Poppy knows a thing or two about romance. When she takes a trip to Sweetbriar Cove to escape the chaos in her life, she thought she would finally finish her book and break through her writers block. What she didn’t expect or plan on was Cooper. Cooper is cynic and doesn’t believe in love, happily ever afters and soul mates.     The road to happily ever after for these two characters was not an easy one. They had a lot of ups and downs along the way. Good times and bad ones. Swoon worthy moments and some heartbreaking ones too. But, every moment was worth it. In the end, these two characters learned that real love is totally worth fighting for and sometimes, you just have to be willing to jump…no matter how afraid you may be or how the past might have hurt you. When it’s meant to be, there is no fight or cost too high. And in the end, I am left with an amazing love story, a smile on my face and anticipation for the next book in this series.

    I think this series is off to one heck of a start. I love all the characters and the setting. I enjoyed getting lost and swept away in this new world this author has created. And I have to say, I am really looking forward to seeing where this story will go, who will fall next and what other surprises this author may have up her sleeves for us next.

    Meant To Be: Sweetbriar Cove Book 1 is by Melody Grace. This is the first book in a ten book series. I hope she can keep up the pace and standards she set with this one. The book is a gentle romance with no developed later in the series; but with whom graphic situations or language. It is set on Cape Cod and the author really describes the setting in such a way that you feel like you are there and can smell the air and feel the soft breezes. She introduces characters that will be we can identify.
    Poppy has come to her aunt’s cottage to get away. She has just broken her engagement to Owen and fled. She is behind on writing her next book and despite two extensions, has not even started the last book in her series. She knows she didn’t make a mistake by breaking her engagement to Owen; but she did wish she hadn’t hurt him. She just knew that marriage to him was not what she wanted or needed. Now, she needs to find a way to get over her writer’s block and begin writing. Maybe here at her Aunt’s home she can get that done in peace and quiet. Or not!
    Cooper Nicholson has started redoing the house next door and he begins work at 7 or 8 am. Poppy had just driven into town and laid down to sleep when he started banding and cutting his way through the house. Wide awake, now, Poppy heads next door to see if he can stop the noise. She realizes she knew Cooper from long ago when he picked on her. It looks like he hasn’t changed at all, he is still bothering her.

    Ohh I always love reading these romance stories by Melody Grace.
    Cooper and Poppy's was truly what books are made of. Cooper for all his handsome good looks was filled with self doubt. He was hard working, had his own business, good looking and on the outside pretty much had it all. On the inside however, he was a lost compass...wandering through life, not quite sure what direction to move in. He never opened himself up to love again after it failed once.
    Poppy had it all, the life, the dream job, but she was missing the special spark with that certain someone.
    Going away on a retreat of sorts is supposed to clear her mind and open her soul up so she can finish her book. When Poppy finds Cooper she gets way more then she bargained for. This is sweet love story with some hot and heavy parts that will leave you cheering for love and cheering that Coop gets his head out of his butt...LOL.

    I really enjoyed this book. The characters had depth and I enjoyed their stories. I felt the lead man was a little unrealistic in his back story, but it made for a more interesting story overall. Any book that invokes an emotional response in me is worthy of five stars. My tears were either a result of lack of sleep (it was 4am) or fab writing! I'd like to read more by Melody Grace.

    I was so absolutely thrilled to receive this first series Sweetbriar Cove. Written by newest exciting author, Melody Grace. Another marvellous new romance that I have so thoroughly enjoyed.

    Poppy Somerville just adored reading romance books most of all. That was most definitely her most favourite pastime she did growing love. She in fact was the most passionate romantic. Now after she suddenly break up from her wedding to her fiancé she quickly escapes. Whilst she heads still hoping that she will evidently find her true love.

    As she travel a passenger shares a novel for her to read. This lady, not realising that Poppy is the actual writer of the book. It was this wonderful story that she love and remembered so. vividly. It was such a major success for her writing ability and one she will never forget. Now it was time for Poppy to escape her worries of the world and stay at her Aunties place in Cape Cod.

    I simply adored this marvellous book so very much. Such the most thrilling romance and so beautifully written. Such a wonderful series I'm so excited to read more. A total winner it was!!
