    I have to be honest with you - I only requested this book because of the name - it amused me and I thought why not.

    And whilst I liked it, I didn't love it.

    I was after a menage story, however it felt like more of the Duke show, it was all about him and Kaitlyn, and Jed was an afterthought. Which bugged me, because Jed was a lot nicer character IMO than Duke - but this could just be me.

    For a short story, there was a quite a bit of back story, which I liked. It helped me get into the head of Kaitlyn. However I did want to know more about Duke and Jed before we met them today. I wanted to know more about his time on the rodeo circuit.

    However, short stories can sometimes feel rushed, and that was how I felt with Sir Loin of Beef. Our characters went straight from Hi to I Love You in a heartbeat, and it made it feel a bit eyeroll-worthy to me. Sure, insta-lust I can get down with, but this trios instalove was just a little too much - again, this is probably just me.

    My review has made it sound like I didn't like this at all, but that's not how it is. Sure, I had my issues with it, however the characters were enjoyable enough, and I will be going on to read more books in this series as it progresses.

    It was the title of this book that drew me in, that and the fact it was a ménage book (which is one of my guilty pleasures right now). Landon Duke (known as Duke) and Jed Cassidy have been best friends since childhood. Both of them were professional rodeo riders, but retired due to age and injury. They’ve always shared everything, and this includes women – they both know they won’t settle down with any woman unless she’s willing to accept them both.

    Enter Kaitlyn Leary, with her glasses and gorgeous figure. She’s tagged along with a friend to see a male revue at Jed’s bar, and once Duke and Jed lay eyes on her, they know she’s the one. She’s instantly attracted to both of them, and when she’s pulled up on stage for a lap dance by the current stripper, Duke and Jed take over and pull her into a private back room, where they proceed to show her how much they’re attracted to her.

    Kaitlyn doesn’t even know their names, but something primal in her loves the attention and she lets them make her feel good. However, the spell is broken when she finds out who Duke is; his family and her father have a past, and not a good one. She knows once he finds out who she is, he’ll hate her. So she flees the bar without explanation.

    When the company she called to repair her roof shows up the next morning, she’s shocked to find it’s none other than Duke. He realises who she is, tells her everything she was afraid he would, and storms out. She spends a miserable day at work and when Jed and Duke’s family find out what he said to Kaitlyn, they all put him rightfully in his place. Duke realises he was wrong to blame Kaitlyn for the actions of her father, especially when she was just a child when it happened.

    Throw in Duke’s entire family getting involved, a would-be stalker for Kaitlyn, and a serious case of instalove and you have this book. It only takes twenty-four hours before Kaitlyn has moved in with the boys and the ménage happens, so it’s quick. But this is one of the better menage books I’ve read and it’s a fun read, so it’s worth picking up.

    I’ll be honest. I purely signed up for this review tour because of the name of this book. Its so cheesy, but its about cowboys, so I was like..meh, lets give it a go haha.

    This was a really fast read, under 2 hours. It follows the story of Landon and Jed, and their quest to make Kaitlyn Leary theirs. They share women, and they're waiting for The One.

    The chemistry between them is immediate, and intrigues the reader to see what will happen next, however there isn’t really a lot of backstory of depth in my opinion. I didn’t really connect with any of the characters, but I was curious about them, and also the secondary characters.

    If you’re looking for a fast, sexy and easy read, this is the one for you.

    I loved this book. Great characters had me hooked.
    Landon is Sir Loin Of Beef, having gained that name whilst on the rodeo circuit. Now retired, he and his best friend Jed are home settled and looking for the one.
    Kaitlyn is living her life haunted by her fathers mistakes, she holds herself together and has no expectations that life is going to be fair.
    When there paths cross fireworks go off. In more ways than one.
    Can they all overcome the hurt and stigma that comes from Kaitlyn's family name.

    I enjoyed reading this book, featuring a menage relationship. The main characters were likeable as were the secondary characters. The sex was hot though not the main focus, their relationship was. The only danger came in the form of a guy who a friend of Kaitlyn's set her up on a blind date with. She didn't like him on the first date but for a reason that sounded lame to me, she went on a second pseudo date. When she told him she didn't want to see him again, then he started stalking her. This was basically an insta-love romance as the guys knew Kaitlyn was the one instantly and Kaitlyn was very attracted to Landon Duke and Jed Cassidy (although she didn't know their names at the time). The only other problem they had was when Kaitlyn was 10, her father seriously hurt Landon's parents in a drunk driving accident. Kaitlyn always felt like it was her fault, you have to read the story to find out why she thought that. So when she found out Landon's last name, she hightailed it out of there when the three of them were having oral sex in Jed's office (this was after having JUST met them at the bar Jed owned, she thought they were strippers, so yeah this was definitely an insta-love romance). Then the story really began as they tried to find her, which Landon did the next day. I think there were only a few grammatical errors.
