Snowflake Lane Inn by-L. P. Dover
This was a sweet read! I loved the theme of family, friendship, and how taking a chance could be the best thing to ever happen.

Runaway Christmas Bride-Cindi Madsen
I got a kick out of the chemistry and banter between Regina and Emmett! This was a cute read about a grumpy sheriff and the runaway bride who captured his attention.

Christmas Lights-Amy Briggs
Samantha’s Scrooge-ish attitude towards the holidays is about to discover a remake when she meets single dad Jason and his daughter, Emily. This story had a nostalgic feel of blending old memories with new and learning to enjoy life after loss.

Christmas Encounter-R.J. Prescott
With a chance encounter, Lauren, a con artist, and Jensen, a race car driver learn good things can happen when least expected.

It’s a Wonderful Holiday-Heidi McLaughlin
I loved this version of It’s a Wonderful Life! Rory and Gwen have to discover the things most wanted are sometimes right in front of you all along.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I received a free copy through NetGalley in exchange for an honest and unbiased review/opinion.

Overall: 4 stars — Overall a pretty successful Christmas anthology. I liked that Gabe and the town of Friendship were both commonalities to each story, though that can sometimes cause continuity issues, because it’s hard for different authors to present the same things. Most of them seemed to fit, it was just the final story that felt a bit out of place with the others. But all captured the magic of Christmas and gave quick satisfying HEAs!

Snowflake Lane Inn by L. P. Dover
3.75 stars — This was super cute, but almost too cute. Like there wasn’t a whole lot of conflict, everything happened really easily. The roadblocks were really superficial, and it was just like reading a really long epilogue or something… Which is not to say I didn’t get happy butterflies for Layla and Colin! Their romance was seriously adorable and happy smiles. It just felt unfulfilling a bit I guess. I loved Colin’s sister and the machinations of Gabe.

Runaway Christmas Bride by Cindi Madsen
4.5 stars — OK, this is more what I was looking for! It was still super fast in terms of romance, but there’s an underlying push and pull between Regina and Emmett that keeps it from being a sugar overload. I LOVED Regina’s sass, and how she tried to coax smiles out of Emmett. And Emmett was simply adorable with his crush. Very satisfying.

Christmas Lights by Amy Briggs
4 stars — Jason totally made this one for me, he was super sweet! I loved the romance that developed between Samantha and Jason, it had all those first crush butterflies. I thought the whole story of bringing back Christmas magic to Sam was kinda sweet, though occasionally I didn’t always get Sam’s attitude. There was a LOT more Gabe in this story as well, and I’m on the fence about that! But all in all a satisfying Christmas read.

Christmas Encounter by R. J. Prescott
4.25 stars — Another super cute one! I loved the romance between Jensen and Lauren, it was just endearing and sweet and butterfly inducing! Lauren seemed a lot younger than the characters in the other books, but that’s partly just her life experience.

It’s a Wonderful Holiday by Heidi McLaughlin
3.5 stars — This was a second chance romance, and I think it just wasn’t quite what I was looking for. It looks at how marriage takes effort and time and care. Rory was pretty sweet, even if he was a bit clueless at the beginning. I occasionally had less patience for Gwen, though I appreciated that she tried not to let Ruby get caught up in their problems. There was just something forced about the story, especially with Gabe. He felt different than in the other stories, but that sometimes happens with anthologies. And as silly as this may seem, this one had a continuity issue with Christmas Lights…but maybe that was caught before the final copy.

Loved this compilation of holiday stories from some of my favorite authors. There is Friendship MA, a small town that screams Christmas, a curious meddlesome yet wise matchmaker, a little holiday magic, and five wonderful stories that will warm your heart. I'd give each of these stories 5 holiday stars.

Snowflake Inn - a sweet story of a small town innkeeper and an internationally famous fashion designer. What could they have in common. Sometimes it doesn't matter as long as the heart is all in.

Runaway Bride - A runaway bride, a grumpy sheriff, lots of witty banter, laughs and chemistry make this a very enjoyable story.

Christmas Lights - Samantha would like to skip the holidays all together until she meets single dad Jason and his daughter Emily. They show her what the holidays are about and how to live life again.

Christmas Encounter - Lauren grew up with a con man for a father. It's all she know. Then she meets race car driver Jensen. He didn't have the greatest childhood either but he's found a way to make it on his own. Can he help Lauren find a better life?

It's a Wonderful Holiday - Rory is a workaholic. To the point that it has cost him his wife and daughter. Is there any hope that he can change his ways and get his family back? Maybe a little holiday magic?

Christmas with You is an anthology of 5 stories that all take place in the same town (Friendship, MA) during the same time (Christmas, duh!). Each story has different characters but one connecting person...the mysterious Gabe. None of the stories contain previous characters from the author's work so you can read and enjoy without confusion! Also, all of the stories are low on the heat scale (kissing only)!

Snowflake Lane Inn by L.P. Dover
The owner of a picturesque inn gets a holiday surprise when a well-known fashion designer comes to stay and re-designs his future.

This story was adorably sweet. Layla's last fashion line tanked and she is seeking the solitude of a small town. Colin loves Friendship and falls fast for Layla. The conflict comes from what Layla will do-will she stay in the tiny town or go back to the big city? Its a sweet story with a fun sister and loving family!

4 stars!

Runaway Christmas Bride by Cindi Madsen
Making a new life in Friendship certainly wasn’t the plan, but the spirit of Christmas—along with the rugged local sheriff—leads to a change of heart for this runaway bride.

Poor Regina! Her fiancee dumps her AT the alter. She drives off, desperate to escape the humiliation and ends up in Friendship. The locals feel sorry for her plight and help her get sloppy drunk! The town sheriff happens to walk in and realizes Regina is in no shape to go anywhere. And the only available room? His sister's house. Emmett is a bit of a grumpy sheriff because he has to walk the line between friendship and officer of the law.

4 stars!

Christmas Lights by Amy Briggs

A visitor to Friendship learns the true meaning of Christmas from a single dad and his young daughter.

A single father (literally) runs into a self proclaimed holiday hater. Samantha (great name, BTW) is in Friendship to visit her sister and nieces; however, she is NOT a fan of Christmas. Since Sam and her sister lost their parents, Samantha's holiday spirit is lacking. Jason and his daughter, Emily, however, love the season and living in Friendship. Can Jason convince Samantha that there is still some happiness in Christmas? His 'grand gesture' is VERY swoonworthy!

3 stars!

Christmas Encounter by R.J. Prescott
A famous Formula One driver finds all roads lead to Friendship—and love—this Christmas.

A race car drive and RJ Prescott?! Yes please! If you haven't read The Hurricane, you need to add it to your TBR. Its one of my favorite books. Jensen is a hard partying race car driver who has come to Friendship for the funeral of his father figure. Lauren is the daughter of a con man. She doesn't want to live like that any more and is determined to be a better person. A chance encounter between these two leads to a deep friendship. But, Jensen is only there for the funeral and Lauren doesn't want to hold him back from his life. This story had tears welling up in my eyes for sure. Lauren has such a heartbreaking story! But, this was my favorite story of the anthology for sure!

5 stars

It’s a Wonderful Holiday by Heidi McLaughlin
A workaholic finds just the right Christmas magic to remind him about the most important thing in life: spending time with his wife and family.

Its not often you read romance stories about married couples. Readers tend to like to think after the couple gets together, everything is totally happy. So, this story is a bit like "Its a Wonderful Life" where a man has to see what is right in front of him (PS-Ive never seen Its a Wonderful Life...). Gwen never really wanted a divorce. But she didn't know what else to do. Now its up to Rory to decide if his wife and daughter are worth fighting for. This was the most angsty to me because the couple wasn't in a 'love at first sight' situation. They start the story in a 'our love is done' place and its painful to read. Maybe I struggle with this type of story because I am married and I know how difficult marriage is. Who knows, but for whatever reason, this one was very angsty to me. However, it was still a heartwarming story of love and family.

THIS IS GOING TO BE A LONG REVIEW.... Sorry! I treated each story as a seperate book.

SNOWFLAKE LACE INN BY L P DOVER
What a sweet Christmas story, I enjoyed the premise of loosing yourself in a place, no one knows who you are - well sort of?
Colin and layla were a good match, both surprised to have someone come into their lives when they were not expecting it.
Gabe> what a sweetie, what's his story? I bet there is a fabulous back story to him?
Colin's family were sweet, I loved the not so subtle Brianna, what a little matchmaker she is.
A great quick Christmas read, even though I'm reading this in January.

RUNAWAY BRIDE BY CINDI MADSON
2nd story done! and it might be my debut book by Cindi Madson.
I enjoyed watching Emmet and Regina navigate their way around their relationship. Being jilted I thought Regina was a hoot, made even funnier by the grumpy sherrif. Loved their connection even though they both tried to play it down.
A great quick little , feel good story.

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS BY AMY BRIGS
What a cute, sweet story. Having recently lost my Mum and just having the first Christmas without her was hard, Samantha's story got to me in places. Not easy sitting on a plane full of tears.
Even though it's January I have been enjoying this Christmas anthology so far, all the stories have been sweet, quick little stories; great if you've got a couple of hours to read a quick feel good story.
Even though Friendship Town is present throughout the anthology you can definitely read any story, in any order.
All these couples so have have Gabe in common, he is an interesting man, and we get a little more about him with each story.
Samantha and Jason hit it off, the sparks were flying immediately they both weren't looking for love, but sometimes Love Takes Over! you just gotta run with it.
I'm glad they both took a chance on each other, and loved the interaction between both their familes.

CHRISTMAS ENCOUNTER BY RJ PRESCOTT
Yay! we got a Brit! A devilishly handsome one at that!
I'm beginning to love Friendship, Gabriel is really working his magic.
Jenson is in Friendship to honour a lovely man, a father figure in his life. He meets a young girl Lauren down on her luck, but even so she has a truly good heart. Sharing her dinner with a homeless man.
She bumps into Jenson, having already scoped him out, but what starts out as one last job for Lauren, turns out to be the best thing she's done. She and Jenson begin to be friends.
Nancy, Jensons friend's wife tries to make him see sense, and Lauren is ashamed of her Dad's reputation, but Cupid is going to fire his arrow, regardless of the couples backgrounds.
A lovely story, bringing out feelings that might have been hidden, letting love have a chance is a big deal.
Really happy with how both Jenson and Lauren's lives were turned around, happy for them both to get on with starting their new futures together.

IT'S A WONDERFUL HOLIDAY BY HEIDI MCLAUGHLIN
Oh Gabe; what a lovely story. I really enjoyed each and every story in this anthology.
It was lovely to have a glimpse of the other characters, we've met along the way in Friendship.
Rory and Gwen , attemptin to navigate their new normal and finding out that both of them and their little girl Ruby had all encountered Gabe, a nice old gentleman who was more than meets the eye.
He's been the common thread through the anthology.
Gwen and Rory both unhappy, but it takes kind words of wisdom for them both to work out what is needed for them both to change and to work on becoming whole again.
Rory realises sooner that he let work get in the way of family life, causing him to let the closeness disappear. I loved watching him change his attitude and to get his wife Gwen to fall in love with him again.
Gwen wasn't without fault, and I liked that she also realised that she needed to do more to make their relationship work.

What happens when a group of authors come together and decide to spread the love around Christmas? We get a super sweet collection of people falling in love, finding love again and second chances. Each short story in this collection centers on small town Friendship and a quirky character named Gabe who seems full of the spirit of Christmas. His goal it seems, is to set things right. Drop a hint here and a kind gesture there and smooch two people together who may not have found their way without his help.

I picked this up based on just a couple of the authors, but the whole book was like a little snippit of a holiday movie. Not much heat in this one, but plenty of romance. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be Christmas Lights. The whole book is guaranteed to put a smile on your face and warmth in your heart.

I love holiday romance and this anthology went beyond all my expectations. Not only was this the first anthology in a long time that I actually ready every story but I LOVED every one of them. I loved how each story was unique and special but was all tied into this quaint small town and all revolved around a special “angel,” Gabe. This is the book you need to read to warm your heart this holiday season. You’ll love each and every story and in the end your heart will be full.

I’ve been a big fan of anthologies lately. I love getting a feel for multiple authors all in one book. And the fact that all these stories revolve around a cute little town at Christmas time just makes me love it more.

1-Snowflake lane Inn by L.P. Dover
Colin and Layla

Layla is a famous fashion designer in need of a change of pace to get her mind back on track. Her latest line tanked and she wanted to get away from the spotlight for a while. While she gets into the holiday spirit with the local inn owner by her side she gets more then just her fashion inspiration back.
Colin doesn’t know if a big city fashion designer who was once dating actors would even want to settle for a small town guy like him but as he gets to know Layla he has to decide if he wants to put his heart on the line for her.

I really enjoyed these two together they were sweet and the romance was a perfect lighthearted read.

2-Runaway Christmas Bride by Cindi Madsen
Emmett and Regina

After being dumped at the alter Regina needs to escape. So she takes an impromptu road trip to Friendship, Massachusetts while still decked out in her wedding dress. Emmett, the small town sheriff of Friendship, is guilty of being a little grumpy around the edges before Regina shows up and teaches him how to smile again. And Regina has always had trouble relaxing and having fun until she spends time with Emmett in the sweet little town and she realizes being jilted by her groom was one of the best things that could have happened to her.

This is a nice quick romance fit for a hallmark movie. Which, in my opinion, is a perfect kind of complement for a good holiday romance. What can I say? I’m a sucker for a jilted bride and a man with a badge.

3-Christmas Lights by Amy Briggs
Jason and Samantha

Samantha is from warm sunny Florida and is a bit of a Scrooge when it comes to Christmas. The Holliday that holds many of her family memories is overshadowed by the death of her parents. So she’s slow to see the appeal of the freezing town of Friendship in the days leading up to Christmas. Although she does try to make an effort not to kill the holiday spirit for her nieces and sister when she comes to visit. But handsome single dad Jason helps her warm to Christmas once again by making some new memories.

I loved this one. I like how sweet and awkward Samantha is and I’m always a fan of single dads finding love. I do wish we had more time to see her interact with Jason’s daughter Emily but I’m happy she is good with her nieces and likes kids.

4-Christmas Encounter by R.J. Prescott
Jensen and Lauren

These two live at opposite ends of the spectrum. Jensen is a Formula One racer and Lauren is a down on her luck pickpocket trying to get away from her crook of a father. But they both are at a turning point in their lives where they want to be better people then they’ve been previously. They’re first meeting in Friendship is less than perfect but after spending some time together they soon become friends. I love how understanding Jensen is with Lauren. And poor Lauren trying to work her way all the way up from where she has always been stuck thanks to her worthless father. Of course there are some serious issues for them to deal with before they get a HEA.

I really think this book would make a great full length novel but I’ll take what I can get. I enjoyed these two together and really like that their financial differences were of little concern when it cane to becoming friends and then more.

It’s a Wonderful Holiday by Heidi McLaughlin
Rory and Gwen

A second chance romance for a small town family. Rory worked very hard for his family so it came as a wake up call when his wife, Gwen started drawing away and their marriage started slipping toward a divorce. Rory has to prove his love and devotion to his wife and daughter again before he loses the love of his life because if his workaholic ways. With the help of a Christmas Angel and their daughter this couple has to decide whether their love is worth fighting for.

This rekindling of a marriage romance is a trope I haven’t seen very often. But I really loved it. Its a good reminder that no matter how comfortable you are in a routine and marriage it’s constant work to keep the romance burning forever. And love stories don’t end at “I do.”

Overall if your a fan of Christmas and in need of a low angst clean romance to help you celebrate the holiday season then look no farther. I loved each one of these stories and would not hesitate to recommend them individually but lucky for us they’re all wrapped up in this one book for us. Merry Christmas and enjoy.

Five great new authors to me bring us a wonderful set Christmas story set in Friendship Massachusetts where a newly arrived stranger Called Gabe seems to help bring souls together and spread the Christmas cheer around this great small town. This town does not really need and extra Christmas cheer as this is a full-on Christmas town with all the trimming for a white Christmas.

Bestselling authors Heidi McLaughlin, L. P. Dover, Cindi Madsen, R. J. Prescott, and Amy Briggs invite you to celebrate the holidays in small-town Friendship, Massachusetts, where a mysterious newcomer decides to play matchmaker for five lucky couples.

Snowflake Lane Inn by L. P. Dover

Snowflake Lane Inn had me right in the Christmas spirit with is descriptive words and wonderful characts in this short Christmas romance. First time read by this author and I must say I very much enjoyed there writing style. Even famous people enjoy a small town environment to find there happy and creative place in the world.

The owner of a picturesque inn gets a holiday surprise when a well-known fashion designer comes to stay and redesigns his future.

Runaway Christmas Bride by Cindi Madsen

Regina is a runaway bride who’s fiancee dumps her at the altar on her wedding day, so she ran and stopped in a little town call Friendship. She met the towns grumpy sheriff Emmett Haywood at her lowest point of the day, but he takes pity of her and helps her out. This story is full of great banter between Regina and Emmett as they are forced together by the town's busybodies.

It's a Wonderful Holiday- Heidi McLaughlin- Great story about a man, Rory, who's let work dictate his life in Friendship MA, and in that process has lost his family. What a great town to have Christmas miracles. It seems Gabe has his hands and skills in a number of projects around town as he skillfully offers words of encouragement and enlightenment upon demand. Each story will touch you in some way (some more than others I'm sure) and yes they are clean reads. Each story was great the last two were my favorites and yes I read them all. A great collection of feel good reads that remind you of the beauty and miracles that the season can bring. True love, forgiveness, new beginnings, rekindling, starting over and maybe just finding your priorities. Watch out for the Christmas Angel, you may have a Gabe of your own in your corner this Christmas. Loved it and loved this side of a couple of authors I always enjoy.

The fashion designer who just wants to forget her last media bashing of her recent failed line, and the owner of the Inn who also owns the place she's renting. When fate keeps putting her in his space and inspiration for a new line burst out of her, the man and family she always wanted may be hers for the asking.

The runaway bride and the surly law man catch each other's eye but both are a little gun shy. With a little help from a few friends and some match making too they may not have a choice but to see what the Christmas spirits deliver in their stocking.

She's got a grifter for a dad and stealing is their way of life but she wants out. He's carrying the guilt of the past year and the chance to make amends. After a planned encounter turns into more they both may find a new life, new opportunities and forgiveness. Acceptance and release for these two will open doors they didn't even know were there.

She doesn't believe in the joy of Christmas since she can't let go of the past. He makes it his business to show her what she's missing and makes it their job to help her create new memories. Letting go and moving on doesn't mean you've forgotten.

He didn't cheat on her. Well at least not with a physical woman. When work becomes her husbands all and nothing else seems to wake him up, desperate actions are taken to reclaim her husband or break her heart trying. A second chance to revive and reclaim what's slipped away.

5 amazing authors have come together to give us a fantastic array of festive stories from the town of Friendship that you will just fall in love with.

Snowflake Lane Inn by L.P. Dover

A sweet festive read from L.P Dover. I was pulled right on to Layla and Colin's Story. When fashion designer Layla rents a house in the town of Friendship she soon needs her landlord Colin's help. As they get to know each other under the twinkling light of the festive season and with a little help a new romance could be on the horizon.

Runaway Christmas Bride by Cindi Madsen

A beautifully written festive read.
When Regina fiance leaves her at the alter she decides she needs to just get away from life for a little while. She soon finds herself in the town of Friendship still waring her wedding dress. She soon crosses paths with Emmett the local sheriff, with a little help could real love be in the air.

Christmas Lights by Amy Biggs

A heartwarming read for the Christmas season.
Samantha is in the town of Friendship to spend the holidays with her sister's family, but the holiday season isn't always happy for everyone least of all Samantha who's still dealing with the grief of losing her parents. When she meets single dad Jason and with a slight nudge in the right direction maybe all her sadness for this time if year could be about to change.

Christmas Encounter by R.J Prescott.

A great short to read over the festive season.
Lauren has moved to the town of Friendship with her con artist of a father. She hates the life he's forced her to live and is determined to be rid of him and make a decent life for herself. Things start to look up for her when she meets Formula One driver Jenson, with a little help from a friend could Jenson be the one for her.

It's a Wonderful Holiday by Heidi McLaughlin.

A great festive story about getting a second chance.
Gwen and Rory are in the midst of a divorce which neither of them really want, but for Gwen it felt like her only option. When both are given a little nudge can Rory change the error of his ways and will Gwen find the strength to forgive him before it's to late.

Look- there are five beautifully-wrapped presents under the tree for you. Go ahead- open one! You love it, don’t you? What’s in the next gift? Oh my, now this one is your favorite. That’s how I felt as I “unwrapped” each story or novella in this holiday anthology. The full title includes the tag line “a feel good holiday romance anthology.” And with each story, I experienced the true joy of the season.

Each tale is carefully crafted to delight. The characters are fresh and entertaining, and the romances are so sweet. The stories are tied together because they all take place in the charming New England town of Friendship a few weeks before Christmas. Even Santa would love to live there. This small community comes together for festivities in the town square, community center and even their churches. Another constant is Gabe, an interesting character who shows up in each story. Is he a homeless person or is he part of the spirit of Christmas?

I honestly can’t choose a favorite story. Each one was festive and well-developed. In Snowflake Lane Inn, you will find out what happens when a well-known fashion designer with an Instagram life escapes her glamorous life and comes to Friendship to find herself. Runaway Christmas Bride is as good as it sounds, complete with a handsome, hunky sheriff. How about a story with the best Dad in the world and his adorable daughter. Can flamingos help him to win the heart of the new gal in town? Read about them in Christmas Lights, a touching and romantic story.

A rich and famous Formula One driver ends up in Friendship and his heart begins to “race” when he meets a spunky young women who truly needs love. The last story, but just as wonderful as the first four is It’s a Wonderful Holiday. You may spot a few similarities to the classic movie with the similar name, including a clue about the mysterious Gabe.

Thanks to authors L.P. Dover, Cindi Madsen, Amy Briggs, R. J. Prescott, and Heidi McLaughlin for a special anthology that really added the sparkle to my holiday season.
Thanks to Net Galley and the publisher for an ARC. This is my honest opinion.

Snowflake Inn – Layla is a fashion designer whose latest line was not well received so she ends up in Friendship where she is renting a house from the owner of Snowflake Inn Colin. During her stay they become close as they celebrate the season together but what happens when it is time for her to leave?

Runaway Christmas Bride - After getting stood up at the altar Regina ends up in Friendship where she ends up meeting Emmett, the Sherriff, after a few drinks too many. She ends up staying at his sister’s and with a little help from a matchmaker they enjoy the magic of the season.

Christmas Lights – After the death of her parents Samantha is struggling to find the joy of Christmas even with her sister and nieces. She meets single father Jason and he is determined to show her the joy of the season.

Christmas Encounter – Lauren is tired of going from place to place to find a new person they can take advantage of, all she needs is one more mark and she will be able to leave this life. Jensen is a Formula 1 driver who has just suffered a loss. Will he become her next victim or will he be the reason she changes her ways?

It’s A Wonderful Holiday – Rory and his wife Gwen used to be very happy but now a distance exists between them that is getting harder and harder to bridge. Work is his life which leaves little room for Gwen but will he see the error of his ways before it is too late?

This is a great collection of holiday stories which all have very different storylines but are all set in the magical town of Friendship. This collection will definitely get you in the mood for the holidays. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Each individual story is great but put them all together and I wish the town of Friendship existed. Each story really brings out the best in this town, showcasing the town folks huge hearts. Gabe is a central character in each book and his role maybe be small in each story but it sure does pack a punch. His words are kind and exactly what the characters need to hear.
In Snowflake Lane Inn: Colin is such a sweet guy who is willing to help everyone and just when the right girl comes along they find a way to fall head over heels for each other. So sweet!
Runaway Christmas Bride: This was my favorite story of the collection. I can’t imagine a jilted bride showing up in a bar throwing back drinks and trying to drown her sorrow with the locals. It was a great beginning to the story and the sherif is so neutral that the more she antagonizes the sherif the more fire seems to develop between them. I love the cup tossing in the trash can scene, it was the little things that made this story great.
Christmas Lights: I love the sister. There is a time to grieve but you have to keep moving forward and you can’t pull others into your pit of grief. So happy the sister laid it out for her, it was the real highlight of the story. Plus the flamingo were cute too!
Christmas Encounter: Lauren knows she needs to distance herself from her toxic father but how to do it just so sad. The strength that Lauren has is great and that she finds Jensen in the process is amazing too.
It’s A Wonderful Holiday: This story of reconciliation and revelation is one that needs to be shared with the masses. It feels to true and could be the story of anyone or any marriage.

A smart collaboration that gave me not one but 5 of the best authors in the genre all between the pages of one super quick, but addictive read
I will quickly run through each of the stories giving a few short words about what I thought of them:
Snowflake Lane Inn by-L. P. Dover
I loved the optimism that this brought to the page the author dished up a story that whilst it was very sweet also wasn’t afraid to ensure that you paid attention to the important things in life, all the good stuff like, family and friends.
Runaway Christmas Bride-Cindi Madsen
I have little to say other than the fact you need a little Regina and Emmett in your life. This sour sheriff is rocked to his core when Regina makes her impact…be prepared to chuckle at their colourful banter.
Christmas Lights-Amy Briggs
I loved the reflective tone the author used, in what was a beautiful story about a single father, his daughter and the woman that came to mean so much to them both.

Christmas Encounter-R.J. Prescott
This took me a little by surprise just like it did the main characters. This was a picture-perfect read on taking life by the horns and hanging on to the good when it happens because you never know when your forever is going to arrive…Lauren and Jensen are a beautiful example of that!

It’s a Wonderful Holiday-Heidi McLaughlin
There is absolutely nothing not to love about this Heidi McLaughlin story. It gave a modern twist to an old classic and showed that there are times when what you need doesn’t always have to be what you think you are looking for and if you open your heart your happy ever after can be closer than you think.

Absolutely love all these stories and characters and love that all these stories are all in a town called Friendship.

Snowflake Lane Inn by L.P Dover

Another amazing story by L.P that I absolutely love. When Layla decides to relocate to Friendship after her fashion line was a bust and try to find some inspiration, she meet Colin and found something even better. Colin & Layla, I really enjoyed there story and there ending was perfect.

Runaway Christmas Bride by Cindi Madsen

Love this story. Regina was devastated when she was left at the alter and fled and winded up in Friendship. Regina fell in love with the town and the people especially the Sheriff. Emmett & Regina, I truly enjoyed there story and didn’t want it too end.

Christmas Lights by Amy Briggs

This short Christmas story was really sweet and I really enjoyed Samantha & Jason’s story. Jason will definitely make you swoon. I wish there was an epilogue to see what happens next for Samantha & Jason. Great short Christmas read that I think everyone will enjoy.

Christmas Encounter by R.J Prescott
Lauren hasn’t had the best life and moving from place to place and doing anything to survive, she finally feels at home in Friendship. Jensen & Lauren meeting was exactly what they both needed. Jensen will do anything to make Lauren his. An enjoyable short story that I really enjoyed.

It’s a Wonderful Holiday by Heidi McLaughlin
I really enjoyed this short Christmas story. Rory has the perfect life and family but work got in the way and now is world is crumbling and he is determined to get his family back. This Christmas story is all about what is most important and that’s family.

I received this wonderful compilation of 5 short nouvellas from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. The following authors each contributed a holiday story: Heidi McLaughlin, L. P. Dover, Cindi Madsen, R. J. Prescott, and Amy Briggs. I am familiar with most of the authors. In each story, we see Gabriel and read about the Christmas magic he brings to each couple in need:

Snowflake Lane Inn by L. P. Dover
The owner of the Snowflake Lane Inn meets his new renter, a famous designer down on her luck. She has relocated to try and fix her life after her last designs were a flop. The pair, with the help of Gabe manage to fall in love.

Runaway Christmas Bride by Cindi Madsen
A bride left at the alter drives and ends up in Friendship. She and the sheriff end up together with the help of Gabe too. Remaining in Friendship wasn't the plan, but in the end, that’s what happened.

Christmas Lights by Amy Briggs
Samantha visits her sister and her family in Friendship for the holidays. She has never gotten over her parents death and can’t enjoy the holidays. She meets Jason and his daughter who teach her to learn to enjoy the holidays again. Once again, Gabe plays matchmaker to this couple.

Christmas Encounter by R. J. Prescott
Lauren is a grifter who has landed in Friendship. She wants to leave her father’s ways and the old con life behind. She gets a legitimate job and is working on it. She meets Jensen who has come to Friendship to pay his respects to his father figure who just died. They have become friendly but Lauren is hesitant to get involved because of her past. Gabe once again appears to help this couple overcome their obstacles. The couple finds love this Christmas.

It's a Wonderful Holiday by Heidi McLaughlin
A workaholic husband and father has been served with divorce papers. He doesn’t want his marriage and their life to end. So he intervenes and saves his marriage, also with the help of Gabe who has befriended his wife and daughter.

Thanks to NetGalley for a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

There were 5 stories included in this book, all loosely connected by being set in the same small town of Friendship, MA. Plus there was always a mysterious homeless man named Gabe who seemed to have words of wisdom and cheer.
- Snowflake Lane Inn by L.P. Dover - 4 stars - A fashion designer, after releasing a disastrous line, wants to get out of the media's sights and stays a while in a small town.
- Runaway Christmas Bride by Cindi Madsen - 5 stars - After being jilted at the altar, Regina ends up in a snowy small town and finds attraction with the local sheriff. Loved this one--great characters!
- Christmas Lights by Amy Briggs - 3 stars - Samantha is struggling with Christmas after the death of her parents, but she visits her sister in Florida and meets a handsome single guy. The plot was great, but the writing seemed a little clumsy and amateurish. I really didn't like the Gabe character in this one since he seemed a little stalkerish and too involved. If I had an 8-year-old daughter/niece, I'd definitely be worried about him hanging around.
- Christmas Encounter by R.J. Prescott - 4 stars - Despite the fact that Jensen (a Formula One driver) and Lauren (a down-and-out daughter of a criminal) seem totally opposite, I liked their romance. Sweet and a good use of Gabe as the go-between.
- It's a Wonderful Holiday by Heidi McLaughlin - 4 stars - Rory and Gwen are heading for divorce until they hear words of wisdom from Gabe.
Overall a pleasant holiday read. And I intend to look for more from these authors.

OVERALL RANKING: 4 1/2 out of 5 stars!

Snowflake Lane Inn by LP Dover
4 1/2 out of 5 stars
This was a super cute story. Colin is totally delicious!! Layla isn’t the typical celebrity which was what made it easy to love her, too. I loved the interactions with all of the townspeople and other characters in the story.

Runaway Christmas Bride by Cindi Madsen
5 out of 5 stars
Oh man… this story had a soft smile on my face the whole time and when I finished, I cried happy tears just like you would at any wedding. Super sweet story!!

Christmas Lights by Amy Briggs
4 1/2 out of 5 stars
Samantha and Jason are cute together. I love the fact he is so understanding and really gets what she needs better than even her sister (who I almost wanted to punch a time or two while reading). This was a cute story with lots of heart

Christmas Encounter by RJ Prescott
5 out of 5 stars
WOW! This story was perfectly played out. Jenson, the celebrity visiting from out of town, came from a life that wasn’t unlike Lauren’s, the drifter who was staying at the local “roach motel”, but he found his way and I loved how he helped her find her way, too. This was by far my favorite story in the anthology!

It’s a Wonderful Holiday by Heidi McLaughlin
4 out of 5 stars
This was a good story and I enjoyed the second chance aspect. Gwen and Rory fought for their love and it was sweet to watch!
