    I really enjoyed this lovely, easy going and well written romance. With a touch of sarcastic humour between the two main characters, this is one that you could easily pick up on an afternoon, grab a coffee and lose yourself in and never look up until the book ends. Such a fabulous story.

    I adored both main characters Deacon and Violet who gave me many chuckles with their constant banter and backbiting between the two of them. Both are divorced and both have baggage to deal with but they constantly fight the chemistry that they feel for each other. Violet is such an inspiration with her love of animals, her huge generous heart and her outgoing attitude to life. Whereas Deacon is slightly more reserved and stubborn but still lovable...and gorgeous to boot. Their antics had me laughing and sighing constantly throughout the story.

    The best thing about this book was the age of the characters, respectively; Violet was in her late thirties and Deacon in his middle forties. It is so refreshing to read about this age group in books, we don't seem to get enough of where romance and the heart are concerned. A definite recommended read from me.

    The Panty Melter is the 4th book in the Hunter Brothers series, I haven’t previously read books 1-3 but I don’t feel like I missed any vital part of this story as it appears, they are all standalones; I will go back and read them though as I like the sound of all these brothers.

    Deacon and Violet are both trying to find their feet; both divorced and parents. Getting back into the dating game isn’t easy especially when your stood up. Having a quick roll around with a masked stranger to find out he is everything that Violet does not want or need in her life. When their paths continue to cross, they start to catch feelings; when they finally find their ground both of their worlds are rocked leaving them wondering if there is any future for them.

    This is a new to me author and I personally enjoyed reading their story; it was fast paced and refreshing to read a story about a couple in their 40’s.

    I look forward to reading more from Valente.

    I am an incredibly huge fan of everything I have read from Lili Valente in the past, and I am confident that will remain true for in the future. To the point that I didn't even read the blurb for this book, I just knew I wanted to read it.
    Now I have to admit I am not usually a fan of romances featuring older couples. Truth be told, Deacon & Violet are closer to my age than the ages I normally like to read about. But with Lili's fabulous characters and writing style, I am ready to preach that I have been converted.
    Once again, I found myself chuckling along throughout the story. Violet was a bit hard towards Deacon at the start, but really I couldn't blame her for wanting to guard her heart after going through a divorce. Luckily Deacon wasn't a man that gave up too easily.
    But what I liked most was how the story evolved around their two families, and the way that it ended left me smiling like crazy.
    Another fantastic book by one of my favourite authors.

    The Panty Melter by Lili Valente is the fourth standalone romance in her Hunter Brothers series. An absolute and complete feel-good romance. There is not one moment in the book that is overly angsty. Now do not get me wrong - there is a little bit of drama - but it is such a lovely story of two people finding love at a time when they'd about given up on it. Gah! Swoon! Deacon is such an alpha hottie with a soft streak and good heart and Violet is a wonderful person, a fabulous mom and an irrepressible soul! Everything in this book just made my heart warm. Enjoy!

    My least favorite trope is enemies to lovers so I always start reading these books with reluctance. But I love this series and author so of course I read it. Deacon and Violet are both divorced parents. They work together, they’re hot for each other, but they also drive each other crazy. The journey to their HEA starts when Violet asks Deacon to take her divorce virginity. This was a swoony, hilarious, fun, sweet, steamy, heart warming story with very little angst. The interplay between the main characters while they try to ignore the feelings versus just the sex, the interplay between the Hunter brothers, and the ridiculous but loving town just add to the wonderfulness of this story. While the story is funny, it’s also a deeply emotional story which includes witty dialogue, characters with depth, growth, and an engaging storyline. I am sorry to see the end of the series.

    I occasionally forget just how much fun Lili Valente’s books are.... The Panty Melter is the fourth book in the Hunter Brothers series but only the second I’ve read (I’m gonna rectify that ASAP!!!!)

    I loved this story! Deacon and Violet were that little bit older and had a few things in common - both had lived a life that didn’t go quite to plan and they had older kids but it was now time to live their own lives!! 


    Deacon was, to Violet’s mind, gruff, bossy and totally alpha... but under all that he was a sweet, caring, really good guy and I’m glad she took time to find that out! 
Violet was the calm, measured balance to Deacon’s ‘speak/act now, think later’ mind set - especially when it came to his sons. 


    This pair were combustible... and that was before they took the leap to see where this connection between them could go. Deacon’s determination that Violet was more than just a ONS or fling earned him definite brownie points in my book! 


    The twist in the story was good and I really enjoyed the epilogue. 

    Another fab, fun read from Ms Valente and a 5*, most definitely recommended read!

    This is the best in the series. Loved the older couple relationship and the blending of families. No real angst between them just family circumstances catching them both unaware. Would have liked to see a bit more of the brothers and their wives but thoroughly enjoyed the story.

    Violet and Deacon are opposites in many ways and their differences at first, cause them to have misgivings of each other. The more time the spend together, they realize they actually enjoy many of the same things and soon a relationship blossoms.
