THE STORY IN A NUTSHELL
If you’re a fan of this series than you would have already met Rebecca (Bex the Doctor) and Chains (Ty) a member of the MC. Acceptance is their story.
Bex and Chains have history, they are family, not by blood but through the foster system. Bex’s family took in chains as a damaged boy and Bex and chains have been inseparable ever since.
Chains has always loved Bex but never crossed that line in fear of loosing what they have and of course unsure what everyone would think, especially his foster family. In a moment of weakness, the boundaries are broken, forcing Bex and Chains to deal with the undeniable physical attraction they have denied for so long.
Someone from chains brutal past has resurfaced and he calls on the club to help. Loyalties will be put to the test, blood will be spilled, and tears will be shed in this face paced suspenseful and emotional installment in the Chicago MC Defiance Series.
MY THOUGHTS
I have been waiting in anticipation for Chains story since reading about him in the other books in the series. His dark mysterious vibes make for a captivating character. Chains story is not an easy one to read about as the insight we are given into someone who has suffered so much abuse is heartbreaking, but KE Osborn delivered the story respectfully and skilfully.
Bex is a strong sassy heroine. The chemistry between her and Chains burns slowly but it’s hot, heavy and worth the wait.
I love the strong sense of brotherhood this series brings; each story is unique but still flows seamlessly into the next and we get to fall in love over and over again. I look forward to the next book in the series.

This is one of my favorite MC author's and we are so loving the The Chicago Defiance MC Series.I loved Chain's story from beginning to end.
One thing we love about this series is the amazing character's it has.I have to say I really loved them all but, the old ladies definitely add to the delight of reading this story because when those old ladies get together you know your going to laugh your butt off and I do time and time again.
Chain has been one of my favorite character's and I am so happy he got his story as we loved the brute of a man that was broken and lost that our heart always bleed for him as his pain just poured out of him that you could not be unaffected by him.
Revisiting Chains past with him was heart breaking as well as heart wrenching and I can say they I shed more than a few tears for him as he told his story.
We loved Chain's and getting to meet his family for the first time.We loved them.Chain's mom was the bomb!
Leave it to Chain's to have a complicated love story.We loved Doc/Bex in this story we saw a totally different side to her and we saw her take risks but, most of all we saw just how strong she really was when it came to fighting for something she wanted most in life.
I loved seeing both Doc and Bex together as the chemistry between them was always there but, fates intervention just gave it a little shove and I am so glad that Chain's was willing to put himself out there especially with the upbringing he had this was a major step for him.
Knowing Chains we already new his journey to getting his girl and his happily ever after was a rocky one. Bex's and Chains journey was suspenseful,heart wrenching,had tons of twists and turns and secrets that came to light and it was one heck of a ride for sure.
Chains has been a favorite character of mine all along as he has been always aloof and I think that what drew us to him from the onset of the series but, after reading this story we are more in love with this broken man than ever before.
I loved the plot of the story and how it surround around Chains past and present and how the one friend he had considered a brother in his past might be part of his present where he had come to find a slice of happiness in his pain filled life.The plot itself was dark edgy and it kept you on edge and engrossed in the series the entire time we loved it from cover to cover.
This story is just a reminder that sometimes you need the bad along with the good because without having the bad Chains would have never found his Happy Ever After and that one true soul-mate who was meant to be his .

This is the fifth book in this phenomenal series and is Chains and Bex’s turn. Chains has had the most horrific and sadistic childhood from which he managed to escape at 16, where he was saved by an angel called Bex and her family. Now as an adult he is plagued with nightly nightmare resulting from his childhood, and his best friend he left behind. Chains and Bex have always been close and it is no different now, but can they continue to deny the intense chemistry between them? No spoilers, this is a must read for all MC lovers, you will not be disappointed! This is a well written story which is intense, gritty, heartbreaking, emotional, violent, and with redemption and love. I was totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner and I cannot wait to read more from this extremely talented author, whose work I highly recommend.

ACCEPTANCE is the 5th book in the Chicago Defiance MC series. It has characters that are interconnected and although I jumped into the series with this book, I didn't have too much trouble following along. But it's probably better to start at the beginning!
Ty "Chains" is a man who's had a tough and horrifying past. If it weren't for his foster family, the Klines, he'd never have made it past age 16. His foster sister, Rebecca or Bex, is the club's doctor and his best friend. Ty's desperately in love with her but can they overcome the stigma of his past and the forbiddeness of their relationship?
I'll begin by saying that I rated this one 3.5 stars but rounded up because I loved the cover. And here's why: I often felt like certain subjects or aspects were on repeat. I also felt like some of the dialogue was a bit stilted, maybe a touch unrealistic (if that can be said about a fictional romance!). As a result, there were parts that dragged for me. I know, I know, I'm probably the minority here! But regardless, it wasn't horrible by any means. No, I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Chains and Bex. They were complete opposites; a doctor and an outlaw. One saving lives, one taking them. My heart wept for Chains and his unimaginable past. It shaped the hard man he became and yet, there were unexpected moments of tenderness and vulnerability when he was with Bex. She was smart, strong and loyal to her family and Chains, regardless of his past or his association with the MC. Together, they were sexy and almost sweet in a way!
Overall, this was a book with some really dark and twisted overtones but one that also had some swexy moments that made me smile. I'd definitely pick up the rest of the series to get better acquainted with this unpredictable cast of characters! Told from dual POVs with a happy for now ending (the epilogue is a lead in to the next book). I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.

OMG where is the million stars that this book deserves because this one is off the chains!!!!!!!!! Oh man Chains and Bex are an amazing couple and what they have to go through to get to where they want t be is something else. I can't give it all away but i will say that Chains has had a terrible upbringing and when he is rescued at the age of 16 by Bex and her family his life changes for the better. Then he joins The Chicago Defiance MC and has even more of a family. But he has bad nightmares that affect him every night when he sleeps. So he seeks out Bex again to help him out.
Bex is more than willing to help out Chains and she is secretly crushing on Chains. She has always had feelings for him but they never crossed that line but when they do things get heated! And when Chains pasts comes back to try and hurt him Bex and the club are there for him and are willing to take out whoever is messing with their family. No one messes with the club and lives to tell about it.
Acceptance is absolutely amazing and I couldn't get enough. With each book KE raises the bar higher and higher and I need more of this MC family!
Bex is more than willing to help out Chains and she is secretly crushing on Chains. She has always had feelings for him but they never crossed that line but when they do things get heated! And when Chains pasts comes back to try and hurt him Bex and the club are there for him and are willing to take out whoever is messing with their family. No one messes with the club and lives to tell about it.
Acceptance is absolutely amazing and I couldn't get enough. With each book KE raises the bar higher and higher and I need more of this MC family!

Acceptsnce by K.E. Osborn starts right off with a bang and instantly hooked me into the story. Chains has had nightmares every night for the past nineteen years because of a past so traumatic it's hard to even stomach. But from that nightmare came a bright spot in the form of a family and one girl who never left his side. Since day one their bond was cemented and has grown ever since, morphing into feelings that neither wanted to admit for fear of hurting their parents. Now that bond is put to the test when Chains can't resist the pull of Bex and goes right in for a kiss, one that is reciprocated and just as quickly rejected.
Chains is part of the Defiance MC and I loved these guys from the start. A band of brothers who have nothing but respect for one another and will drop everything to have each other's back. Which was definitely showcased when a ghost from Chains' past pops back up, making his nightmare come to life because once upon a time he had another brother that got left behind and Chains isn't making the same mistake twice. And even with the confusion of how Bex should act around Chains, be it a best friend or sister or more, she is always right there to lend a helping hand as well.
I really liked that this story had less to do with lust and more to do with righting a longtime wrong and finally finding the forgiveness to end the guilt that has plagued Chains most of his life. Bex knew she was the main force to help Chains and his issues and no matter what she learned or how gruesome the details she never did bat an eye or treat him any different. I really loved how thoughtful Chains could be when it came to those he loved, even when he was hurting he put others first to make sure they were ok. I really wish this series stood out to me when it first started but at least I don't have to wait to continue. I'm also loving there is more to come and quite soon because I'm nowhere close to being done with this MC.

Oh my Chains! He had a horrific childhood that left him with severe PTSD, though he was able to escape it when he found Bex, and her family. Now, as an adult & member of the Chicago Defiance MC series, he still suffers from nightmare flashbacks constantly, but he has his brothers, and his best friend Bex. However, they have a deeper connection with chemistry galore, so he went there, and it really upset her, which in turn, upset him. So when he had to get away to clear his head, he ended up seeing his childhood best friend, Luc, who he had to leave behind, and never stopped feeling guilty about that. So he now has to get Bex to talk to him again, and bring his plan to rescue Luc to his brothers. It all sounds easy right?! This story just about destroyed me, as I literally went through the emotional ringer with Chains. Like I legit had to put my kindle down to breathe from time to time the fear & pain was so palpable. His PTSD was written so realistically it was like I was seeing it in person for real. And Bex dealt with so realistically as well, like she didn't cure it on her own, or instantly, nope, she did it like how it would be done in the real world. Then, they had their chemistry setting the sheets on fire during sexy times, but again, it was so much more. And the twists, yeah, KE Osborn is diabolically brilliant at f-bomb worthy twists, so I dropped them like they were hot. Not to mention, I can never stopping turning the pages until every last page is devoured once I start, as her stories are awesomely original, and extremely addictive! CANNOT WAIT for more of this brotherhood, and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

This entire series has been such a pleasant surprise, I can honestly say that I am a huge fan of KE Osborn now! This book was everything that readers (or at least this reader) have been wanting since the very first book that introduced Chains and Bex. Their story is awkward because he is her foster brother and her family took him in when he was younger. They are not related by blood, but won't they be judged by their friends and worst of all by their family?
MAIN CHARACTERS:
Chains- AMAZING man that belongs to the Defiance MC. He has been dealt some pretty horrible blows (literally and figuratively) when he was younger but managed to escape and that is when he ran into Bex and her family. He is fiercely loyal to his brothers and to his family and so freaking swoon-worthy!!
Bex- Super awesome doctor that actually went down that path so that she would be there if/when Chains ever got hurt since he chose the MC lifestyle. She tries and does a great job of separating her involvement with the club from her paying job at the hospital.
PLOT:
This story was EXACTLY what I wanted and did not even realize it. We get so much insight into Chain's background that it makes you want to cry when you find out what this amazing guy has been through. While dealing (ish) with his past, Bex and her family were the ones that brought him out of that life and were able to restart his story. He loves them so much and even though his love for Bex is very different, he struggles with it because what if his foster mom and dad don't accept it. If they don't accept it, it would literally break his heart.
STEAM:
Slow burn because these two are figuring everything out, but HOT HOT HOT slow burn! Their connection and love makes it even better!
ALL IN ALL:
This story was heartwrenchingly beautiful and was a great addition to this amazing MC series.... so when is Ace's coming out?!?!

When Chains sees a ghost from his past, he decides he is going to rescue him. Bex is scared of what could happen if Chains returns to the place of his nightmares, Choose me, Ty. Choose to be safe with me than risk it all for him!
Can Chains save the boy from his childhood or will he lose him forever? Will he be able to keep Bex safe?
Things get even more intense from here. I also have to say that when Bex and Chains finally admit to their feelings we get some very hot and steamy scenes. And I loved when they went to their parents house to let tell them about their relationship. I felt bad for Chains but also LOL at how the whole scene affected him.All of the secondary characters were great. If you're looking for a great MC read I highly suggest this one.

What an awesome and amazing read. I have been on pins and needles waiting for this book since I read Defiance’s last words. I was sucked in and not let go until I clicked the last page. The authors writing paints a story full of love and heartbreak. This is book five in the Chicago Defiance MC series. This is Bex and Chains story.
Rebecca (Bex) and Ty (Chains) grew up together. Bex has been there every step of the way in support of Chains. She met a teenager in the park and that was it. He was her family now. When Bex’s mother and father heard his story they took him and treated them like he was their son. They are the only family he has now. They had a bond and connection that only they got and it is understandable that they had started to have feelings for one another.
Chains still suffers from horrible nightmares. His past is bad and only Bex knows all of it. When the past catches up with Chains he decides he is going to save his former best friend. That is where the story got interesting for me. There were so many twists and turns. It broke my heart. This book is dark and gritty and so worth the read. I completely had my heart ripped out becaue of Chains past and it was filled with love from Bex and hoe she gets him and loves him with her whole heart. Even when they think it isn't ok.
The bond between them is awesome. I loved the people and their relationship. I look forward to more with the next book in the series.
Rebecca (Bex) and Ty (Chains) grew up together. Bex has been there every step of the way in support of Chains. She met a teenager in the park and that was it. He was her family now. When Bex’s mother and father heard his story they took him and treated them like he was their son. They are the only family he has now. They had a bond and connection that only they got and it is understandable that they had started to have feelings for one another.

Ty and Bex have an unbreakable bond since they were teenagers. Ty being in the Defiance MC has brought Bex into some serious conditions .. one for being .. having to keep sewing Ty aka Chains up after he keeps getting himself into some terrifying situations. Being the doctor she is Dr. Kline fixes him every time he gets hurt and now she is starting to think he is doing it on purpose .. WHY ??

Absolutely phenomenal MC storyline. The author has given us a fantastic book filled with regrets, brotherhood, intrigue, vengeance, suspense, romance, forgiveness and so much more. We meet new characters as well as enjoy the return of the brotherhood that make up the Chicago Defiance MC in a book that will hold you captivated to the very end.
We know Chains has his childhood demons that he fights on a daily basis, we just never realized the depth of them or the anguish they have caused; until now! Chains physically escaped his tormentors but mentally he is still very scared. Especially over his best friend, Luc, who he left behind when he escaped 19 years ago.
While riding through town, Chains spots Luc, now a grown man who is still a part of the 87th Street Sovereigns, and he asks his club brothers to help him finally get Luc away from them. But does Luc want out after all this time? What happens when helping the friend he never forgave himself for leaving behind, endangers the person he loves the most, his family and his MC Brothers?
I can’t recommend this book enough. Holy Cow it’s simply amazing. If you like MC action this is a definite must read. I offer Acceptance 2 Thumbs Up and a resounding 5 stars. My only regret is that I can’t give it more than 5 stars as it truly deserves it.

Since the moment Chains ⛓ character appeared on the other books of the series, as one of the MC brothers and Bex as the Club Doc, I needed to read their story!!
Every time Bex had to patch Chains up, you can feel the chemistry like a miles away!! So to finally read the things Chains -Ty had gone through when he was a child, is just so heartbreaking.
However, knowing that he had Bex to shine light in his dark path is beautiful. Bex is a great friend, loyal, and an amazing human being period!! She also a firecracker 🧨 lol ! 😂 She seriously don’t hold nothing back.
Acceptance, is definitely the most emotional book from the series, so get prepared to feel all types of emotions. I really enjoyed Chains and Bex story.
I’m also so excited to mention that we get some new characters in the story like Luc and Noah! They definitely have a story to tell, so I’m crossing fingers that in the future we get books on them also.
If you haven’t been caught up in this series I suggest you do since pretty soon we will get another release, and I can’t wait because I know is going to be worthwhile with those two characters whose coming up next!!

Acceptance is the fifth title in The Chicago Defiance MC, but whilst it can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend the whole series. Both Chains and Bex have features heavily in the previous titles.
Bex's family not only became Chains family when they fostered him as a teen, but also became his redemption. As an adult his family has grown to add to the Chicago Defiance, and he will do anything to protect those he holds dear.
Chains is one of those characters who piqued my interest from the very first mention. He's dark, mysterious, and haunted by events of his past.
Bex is intelligent, strong, compassionate and independent. She's very loyal, and will do anything for Chains including using her medical knowledge to fix up the members when they get hurt due to nefarious causes.
The chemistry and connection between this pair is undeniable, and could be considered taboo.
I highly recommend this title if you enjoy an intense, raw and emotional story of survival, friendship, family, love and redemption. Being and MC romance, it also has quite a bit of danger, drama and intrigue.
I will be eagerly awaiting the next addition to the Chicago Defiance MC series.

The title of this book is so fitting. This is Chains and Bex's story. We get all of the nitty gritty details of Chains childhood before he was saved by Bex and her family. All I'm gonna say is he went through all kinds of hell and came out a stronger and better man. The emotional connection between the two of them is amazing. They both know what they want, but are terrified of what that really means.
Now for the nitty gritty portion of the book. Chains past comes to his present and there are things he needs to deal with not only emotionally but mentally as well. The strength he gets from Bex is nothing short of incredible. The brotherhood that he gets from being in the MC also keeps him grounded.
We get to get caught up with some of the other characters and let the norm we get a peek at the next in the series. Looking forward to seeing just what is in store next for this MC.

Exciting forbidden romance or is it? Chains has found his family with the Defiance MC but the family that saved him all those years ago is still the core of his being. His connection to his foster sister, Bex, has always been natural, comfortable and consuming. When he finally acts on all these feelings, will he end up pushing Bex away? Or will he be kicked out of the family? Bex is an amazing woman, a doctor that takes on the MC crew with confidence. When she first met Chains, she was shocked by the state this young boy was in but his eyes captivated her. She is shocked when Chains kisses her, he is her brother, but is he really? As these two navigate the chance for a relationship, Chains embarks on a quest to save his friend Luc from the insane world he grew up in. Learning Chains past was heart-breaking but uplifting to see how he came out of all this horror an incredibly strong gentleman. Will these two allow themselves to accept what they have always felt? I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

Chains broke my heart in tinny millions of pieces, such a strong man with a terrible childhood, but thanks to Bex parents he could have some love.
There are millions of people who have trauma like him who deserves love and understanding, but this is not a reality, and in Chains case, he is lucky to have friends like brothers on his MC, brotherhood is everything.
Bex & Chains love story is a slow burn, they are foster brother and sister, should be wrong right? Wrong, many years of love, burning on both side and one day this chemistry will explode in the best way.
They fight for each other, and when Chain’s past comes to hunt him and gets Bex on the crossfire, he became more of death machine ready to destroy anything and anyone to save the love of his life.
This book was beautifully written in every aspect, and I couldn’t be happier for the opportunity to read it.

This is the first book that I have read in this series and by this author and I was completely blown away by it. I was hooked from beginning to end. The author’s writing was excellent, I was engaged from the very start, and the book was full of action but also very emotional and heart-breaking at times. I kind of got this mysterious feel from Chains from the moment I met him in the story and the more I read about his story and his past the more I understood him more and my heart definitely broke for him. I really liked Bex; I thought that she was a strong female character in the story, which was nice actually for the genre of book. There was some serious chemistry between the Chains and Bex, I could really feel the connection that they had and I liked that their relationship went at a slower pace too, it was perfect for them.
This book has definitely made me want to read the other books in the series now – I have a feeling they are going to be as good as this one was!

This is the story of Chains and Bex. In it we look at his early life and the friend he left behind before Bex and her family took him in. He still suffers dreadful nightmares and frustration This is definitely a clash between his past and the present where the ghosts of the past have to be tackled in order for him to find the possibility of the future that he wants. Can these two souls find their connection, Chains move on from his past and find acceptance with the woman he loves?

I have been waiting for this book!! I've wanted to know Bex's story for awhile and WOW I wasn't disappointed!!

Chains may have escaped his brutal childhood, but he still lives with the regrets even though he was taken in by Bex and her family and they became his family. Another great installment to this incredible MC romance series though in case in you were wondering each can be read a stand alone they are just so much better in order. We finally get to dive deep into Chains' world for this new installment as he grapples with his feelings for his foster sister as well as the ghost of his past. The two worlds collide in a brilliant explosion that will quickly pull you down the dark rabbit hole as the story progresses. There is a light at the end of the tunnel though as the two of them work things out while taking out all of the bad guys. We get a few intriguing changes to the club members as well which could make things quite interesting in future installments. A perfect read for fans of MC romance novels. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

Our past does not defined us. You can ask Chains about that. Sixteen years of pure hell and two with a loving family and he seems to be better. Until the nightmares take hold....both past and present.
We finally find out why Chains is always holding a piece of chain.
Rebecca or better known as either Bex or doc. Yes the club doctor. Chains or Ty as she calls him is her foster brother. We learn how they meet at sixteen years old and he becomes her foster brother for a few years. He still thinks of her parents as his own and they love him just like a son. He never wants to lose them but what he has to tell them could go either way.
I'm loving this series. If you love MC romance then give it a try...
