    Sins of the Orchid by Eva Winners is a standalone, age-gap, Mafia Romance in a world with the kids of two previously feuding families falling in love. The book follows Amore and Santino. Amore Bennetti struggles after the death of her mother and finds a best friend in the most unlikely place; A rival crime family. Whilst, Santino Russo is the eldest son to the head of the New York Cosa Nostra. Blood and death follow Santino Russo, but to Amore he will always be her first love and the first one that made her feel safe in a deadly world.

    This is a long book filled with lots of interesting writing and plot points about the two main characters to create a well developed story which I will love re-reading. I highly recommend reading this book and finding more by this author. You won't regret it!

    Trigger Warnings: betrayal, murder, deceit, infidelity, violence, s*ism, abandonment, violence against women, assault.

    This book was long. It could be shorter.

    I mean yes it is an age gap (9 years) mafia romance, with a bit of romeo and juliet tinged plot in a novel.

    And it would've been perfect - if the unnecessary s** and violence could've been cut.

    But I still did love Santi and Amore a little bit even though gosh sometimes there was so much miscommunication.

    So there was romance, tension, trouble, lovely side characters, lots of plot twists that were unusual.

    But despite all the problems, and weird moments, I did love the end, specially a couple of scenes and love confessions hehe, and the plot twists.

    So despite all unusualness, I loved it and hope to read more by Eva.

    If you are looking for a book that will pull you in and keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the entire book this is the book for you. This author brought the characters to life in a way that had you “feeling” everything they did. Amore was a strong, beautiful and powerful woman and Santi was a strong and a man who knew who he wanted even if she was from a rival family.

    The twists and turns in this book had my head spinning but in the best possible way ever. This is definitely a book that you want to get your hands on and see for yourself what a fantastic book this is.

    Once again, I loved another book written by Eva!!! Sins Of The Orchid is a mafia romance where we get to watch the budding relationship and romance from the younger years. Amore is just thirteen when her life is changed forever and if thrown, quite literally into the middle of the mafia underworld. Little did she know just how deep the connections to the underworld go.

    She is the heiress of a billion dollar fashion company, and has been groomed since she was little. She learns from the ground up. Santino, or Santi, is the heir one of the five mafia dons in New York’s Cosa Nostra. The ultimate goal was to keep her out of the underworld. Until Amore and Santi meet, that’s exactly what happens. The two father even make a marriage contract, which her best friend Adriano, the wrong brother, in order to keep them both out.

    Now, Amore is NOT, I repeat is NOT the stereotypical mafia princess. She is quite independent and driven. She takes her revenge and place within her grandmothers company seriously and quickly. She is the epitome is independent woman. Santi, becoming the youngest mafia don in history, has the same work either. No wonder their chemistry is so damn explosive 💥.

    Now, this is a long read, but there is literally another twist as soon as you think you have figured things out. It helps to keep you interested, that’s for sure. The things between Santi and Amore build up quickly, and they are hot 🥵 together. I highly recommend this mafia stand-alone from Eva Winners
