I gave up!!! WHY do I have to wait for so long for the story to build up!!!! 😤
It should have been by far more concise and not that lengthy. Too drawn out! There were repetitions and a lot of sex! 🙄 The heroine’s character was contradictory. She didn’t want to be involved in the mafia world, was a sweet young lady who had a crush on Santino since forever 🙄, but she had been trained and was avenging and pursuing her family’s killers. This badass side of hers was never shown, at least up to the point where I called it quits. Dnf @ 47%.
I have loved you for so long, I'm not sure I know how not to love you.
Amore Benetti nearly starts a war at 13. The newly discovered only daughter of the head of the Benetti family, she accidentally wanders into enemy territory and is found by the head of the Russo family and his son Santino. Her whole life is spinning out of control, but with that wrong turn she finds both her center in Santi and her best friend in his younger brother, Adriano. Santi knows she has a crush on him, but when she gets older, the attraction no longer stays one sided and he just can't stay away. Their relationship has many obstacles - some of which seem insurmountable. But Amore is a girl who is destined for great things, knows her worth, and won't back down despite the powerful men trying to control her.
She craved my darkness as much as I craved her light.
Oh my freakin' word, this book was awesome - my favorite Eva Winners yet! Santino is next level BBF 🔥🔥🔥. Ruthless, powerful, possessive, and protective, but also sensitive to those he's loves. And he is OBSESSED with Amore. Amore is his perfect complement. She is light and forgiveness, but she's also ambitious and has an inner steel that Eva did a wonderful job developing throughout the story - from the scared little girl to the queen she becomes. The storyline was fantastic and drew you in from page one and the twists just 👏🏼 keep 👏🏼coming 👏🏼- seriously all the way to the end. One of those books where you have your mouth open, whispering whaaaaa?!? to yourself, trying to find out what happens as quickly as possible, and feeling completely exhausted when you're all done 😂😂. Crazy good book. Crazy good ending. Couldn't have asked for more!
You are my heartbeat, the blood pulsing through my veins, my oxygen. You are my life.
Sins of the Orchid by Eva Winners is a complete standalone. It is told in first person, from multiple perspectives.
Sins of the father are the daughter's to pay. You crumpled my empire. Now I'll crumple yours. Blood for blood. It's her turn to scream.
Hands down, this is my most favorite book by Eva Winners!!! Santi and Amore had managed to steal my heart over and over again in here... Light met darkness and the result was explosive... This was a very beautiful and very complicated story about love, betrayal, family ties and friendship... This was a slow burn, age-gap, brother best friend's mafia romance that kept me an amazing company.... I will really miss these characters and their world!!!
"I have loved you for so long, I'm not sure I know how not to love you."
At thirteen, Amore's life changed once and for all... and she had found herself in the middle of a world that she never knew about it... From a fashion heiress she became overnight a mafia princess and she didn't know how to navigate this new bloody world... By chance, she had put herself in the middle of a war and she earned by that a new best friend, Adriano and the man who saved her, Savino, her first love... Of course, Santi was too old for her, but that didn't stop her for developing a big crush on him....
"It didn't matter to me that he was one of the most feared men in the Cosa Nostra; to me he'd always be my savior."
The years have passed, but Amore's infatuation with Santino Russo never went away... Life was moving on, things were changing around them, but she never stopped feeling differently for her best friend's big brother, even though he never saw her as anything other than a kid. But things can easily change and the hearts can easily break... Santi and Amore started to feel the same, but when she least expected it, Santi had broken her heart and now, she is determined to make him realize what he is missing...
"You are playing with fire, kiddo."
Well, I loved this story very much... Yes, the central theme was Amore and Santino, but there were happening so many things around them... Things that were keeping you on edge all the time... Nothing was as it seems and I liked that...
"Were the men in my life always destined to betray me?"
Santino was a very possessive but also overprotective man... I really fell for him... He was head of the mafia and he was ruthless, but for Amore, he could do anything. Amore seemed delicate like a flower but she had so much strength and determination in her... She was groomed to be on the top and she never faltered from her goals... These two were meant to be, even though there were many things that were keeping them apart... Their tet-a-tets were making me tingle and excitement was flowing inside me...
"This obsession I had for her was like the sweetest poison I couldn't give up."{Santino}
"This love for him was clawing at my chest, slowly destroying me, and I fucking hated it."{Amore}
I love everything that Mrs. Winner is writing, but for a reason, this certain story made an impact to me... I loved Santino and Amore very much... I loved many of the secondary characters... I loved their love story and how the author delivered it to us... And I loved all the things that were happening to the background cause were keeping me constantly on edge... If you love this kind of stories, just go for it!!! You won't be dissapointed!!!
"I would take her everything- her body, heart, and soul. Nothing less would do."

Note: I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Trigger Warnings: betrayal, murder, deceit, infidelity, violence, sexism, abandonment, violence against women, assault.
This book was looooooooong. Like 79 chapters (that could've been cut) long.
I mean yes it is an age gap (9 years) mafia romance, with a bit of romeo and juliet tinged plot in a novel.
And it would've been perfect - if the unnecessary sex scenes and violence could've been cut.
But I still did love Santi and Amore a little bit even though gosh sometimes there was so much miscommunication. Like the kind I wanted to pull my hair at.
So there was romance, steam (a lot), tension, trouble, lovely side Cs, and a lot of plot twists that left my head scratching but life be like that and so is this novel.
And despite all the problems, and weird as moments, I did love it at the end, specially a couple of hot damn scenes and aww love confessions scenes hehe, and ooh the plot twists.
So despite all that jazzz (trouble trouble), I loved it and hope to read more by Eva.
Until the next read,
-TMR
PS: I probably shouldn't write reviews while suffering from hayfever, but whatever. Enjoy!
I absolutely loved Sins of the Orchid. OMG Eva Winners completely sucked me in and brought me aboard a fast-paced saga that I could not put down. I am so completely obsessed with Amore and Santino it isn't funny. This story was sexy, emotional, twisty and so so addicting. This is by far the best book Winners has written!
Hands down, the best part of Sins of the Orchid was how the author depicted the progression of Santino and Amore's relationship from the very beginning. Santino's protective instincts ran deep when first meeting Amore as a young girl but it was amazing to see when the tide shifted and his feelings for her developed into something more.
Overall, this story was fantastic! Amore was SO strong and a force to be reckoned with. She was the perfect match to Santino. In addition, it was also amazing seeing her dedication to her empire, her need for revenge and her friendship with Adriano. I really hope we get more stories from this world. Bravo! 5 stars! ~Ratula
DNF @ 20%. - mind numbingly boring. I think this writing style just doesn’t work for me. It’s first person but strangely detached and cold with oddly placed info dumps. Not feeling it.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
It started well, up until they had sex the first time. Then all went sideways. I hated those times apart after she was 18, but the thing that i hated the most was her dating multiple OM and kissing them in those 2 years after their first kiss, i don't care if they weren't together..also when they went apart again later for 2 months after being intimate she said again that she dated (she said she was sick of them even kissing her hand, i think it wasn't more than that, i hope) and in those 2 months he also said he couldn't even get a semi for another women and that he tried..tried how?
Then all the Adriano stuff bothered me a lot. What bf pecs on the lips? Grr
Then there is her character that went from scary little girl that don't want anything to do with the mafia to that badass bitch..out of nowhere...really? Give me a break.
I don't know why i forced myself to finish it. Maybe because i never read this author, before, and i hoped and prayed for a saving grace? I'm not sure i will read another book by her, I'm just disappointed and irritated. It had good potential, but the plot sucked.
Tropes : mafia romance, forbidden couple, possessive H, touch her and ☠️, grumpy x sunshine, age gap (8 years) Ending : HEA (married) Triggers : abuse, violence, torture, gore, death, child abuse Spice : 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5 Angst : 🔥🔥🔥/5 OM/OW drama : OM (H got jealous of OM that touched h) Celibate while separated : yes (after they were intimate with each other) Kink: virgin h, choking, oral, rough sex, no condoms but h on pills
An interesting read for me. It’s one of the longest books I’ve ever read. Usually I read books that have 150-250 pages even if it’s a duet or trilogy or the whole series. At most with standalone books usually it’s around 300 pages and this one got 500+ pages.
But I enjoyed every single page of it. For me it’s a comfort read, a safe book and no overdramatized drama, at least for me.
Santino wasn't a manhoe, there was no OW drama on page so it was a plus for me.
Sins of the Orchid: Mafia Romance Written by: Eva Winners
In her 13th year Amore’s last name changed from Anderson to Regalè and finally Bennetti. She survived witnessing her parents torture and death and she met the first person who understood her, could see what she was going through, who saw her panic attacks when they started and who she could always trust to be there when she needed him, Santino Russo. She also met her best friend Santino’s younger brother Adriano Russo.
Eva Winners never goes softly into any of her Mafia stories and Sins of the Orchid was no different. From the prologue throughout the entire story, she leads us through Amore’s life from age 13 into her 20’s. She is pulled between two worlds that of the Regalè family and their fashion house and the Bennetti family, her father Salvio Bennetti being the head of one of the five Cosa Nostra families in New York.
It’s those years that define who she thinks she is and who she can count on. Family yes, her father and half-brothers will always be there for her. Adriano Russo is her best friend and also the one who leads her into all sorts trouble over the years and when need be, she knows she can count on Santino.
This story moves through years, readers get to see how Amore grows into a beautiful woman, a woman with a price on her head.
This story takes readers through jungles, both in South America and New York. When you think you have figured out what is going on, the who’s and the why’s; you sometimes find you missed something, but that miss is because you had to pull back layers of history and then you need to put together the clues you had no idea existed.
This is one of the best mafia books I’ve read. An epic love story with two characters I know I will never forget. Well done Eva Winners, you continue to keep my greedy little mafia heart happy with this wonderful story. This story is an absolutely glowing 5 star read!
If you can give a book more than five stars, this is the one, just magnificent. Sins of the Orchid has everything you can imagine; it has passion, love, revenge, and a lot of action. The second you open this book, you will get in love with all the characters, but Santino Russo is everything you need. He is strong and does not take any shit for nobody, and nothing will get in his way to get Amore. I highly recommend it. For me, the best I have read this year so far.
'Forgive me, fellow readers, for I have sinned. I've found my new favourite Eva Winners book, and it comes with a side order of steam, bright orchids, and a handsome slice of Italian known as Santino'
Thank you to Eva for sending me an ebook Advanced Reader's Copy for me to read and review, as part of her ARC team. ------------------------
Stepping away from all things Belles & Mobsters for a moment, it's time for Sins of the Orchid to step up and take centre stage. This mafia-style romance and its characters are about to introduce you to a whole new world with unforgettable, breath-taking characters who deliver as much drama as they do steam!
Where to start... this was a read I knew was going to be good based on the blurb alone, but there is so much more to unpack and so much I wish I could include--but alas, I'm keeping my review spoiler-free--, so much I never expected to be as jaw-dropping and mind-blowing. Eva continues to win me over more and more with each book she releases, but this book is one that truly stands out above all I've had the pleasure of reading from her so far. In fact, I've added it to my growing list of top 2022 reads. The list isn't long, but Sins of the Orchid had what it took to make it onto it.
Sins of the Orchid has:
✔ Strangers-to-lovers chemistry mixed with a little coming of age ✔ Steam, steam and more steam ✔ Delicious deception ✔ Posessive alpha men ✔ Lip-bitingly intense Italians ✔ A twist upon a twist at the end that you never saw coming ✔ A Happily Ever After (HEA)
You want it, Sins of the Orchid has it. If you're going to make this your first dive into Eva Winners, do it with this read and you'll soon be clicking that one-click purchase button on the rest of her current reads that are available to buy.
Now, let's talk our leading man, Santino. Up until now, there has been one previous main male character who--after reading his book--left a lasting impression that no other has been able to take his place. Until now. Santino is everything we readers of romantic passion and all things mafia seek for in a bookish man. Strong, passionate, determined, romantic under all the layers of his personality. Santino had it all. And boy did he use his all to try his best to resist Amore, but his best wasn't enough. Seeing the shift between ruthless Italian Don, to hopeless romantic who'd move heaven and earth for his woman and for her safety, absolutely brilliant!
Amore, herself, proved equally as fascinating but for a whole host of different reasons. We see many things with her story, her past, her personality and her growth right from her introduction to both us and the Russo's (Santi's family). Despite not being in the know for most of the time, not by her own choice, Amore has huge character development within Sins of the Orchid. From tearful teenager, a beautiful, strong, hands-on woman blossoms and blooms. She is a strong, independent woman that despite not only being around Santino, but several strong men as part of the mafia world her family is involved in and with, she holds her own and is very much a character to be admired and cheered on.
I sincerely hope that Eva continues this series with another book, because I'm far from done reading about this world and the characters within it.
Five blooming stars for Sins of the Orchid, Santino, Amore and of course, Eva!
This book guys.... WOW!!! It took a turn that I wasn't expecting and I legit was in shock. I love it when something good happened that I wasn't expecting in the book. If you LOVE Mafia romance, best friend's brother, age gap, possessive hero, 𝐏𝐈𝐂𝐊 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐔𝐏!!!
The story is really complex that I feel I'll confused you if I give you a summary of what happens in the story. Lol You get to see how Amore and Santino relationship develops from when she was younger to when she's 20 years old. I seriously love the relationship developments. There was a lot of characters also that I hope they'll get their book, especially Lorenzo. Lol
While I really enjoyed the book, I feel like some parts was a bit dragging. It was quite a long book. BUT overall, it was still amazing. I love it!! First read of Eva, and I need to read more of her books.
If you are looking for a book that will pull you in and keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the entire book this is the book for you. This author brought the characters to life in a way that had you “feeling” everything they did. Amore was a strong, beautiful and powerful woman and Santi was a strong and a man who knew who he wanted even if she was from a rival family.
The twists and turns in this book had my head spinning but in the best possible way ever. This is definitely a book that you want to get your hands on and see for yourself what a fantastic book this is.
She was 13 when he met her for the first time. A scared child of a rival Cosa Nostra family, Amore would crush on the older Russo brother who dried her tears, but looked upon her like a kid - until she wasn’t one anymore. Santi and Amore must overcome family traditions, betrayals and deadly secrets if they are to have a life together. Winners delivers a drool-worthy possessive hero and a feisty, strong heroine in this tale that takes you from New York, to Italy, and to the jungles of South America. Obsession, revenge, and love abound in this hot read.
This book started really well. I was very invested, especially, in finding the answers from that prologue. However, and this pains me to say, once it was steamy time after steamy time, the story lost its plot. Don't get me wrong, the steam was hot. However, because there was so much steam, it left until over 95% that those questions were finally being addressed. That left the last four percent to tie everything up AND give an ending. It was a let down. In fact, had I known the ending was going to be that rushed, I'm not sure I would have continued when I realized that this was a standalone. I, honestly, thought this was going to turn into a duet.
I'm a fan of this author and that is why I'm rounding up to four stars.
This book made me feel: Happy, Sad, Mad and Angry xd, Tingly and Hot, Emotional, Rollercoaster 🤭 ———————————— I went fucking bananas (Santino’s words right there xd) with this book. It was a complete rollercoaster with my feelings. I loved this Sunshine/Grumpy trope ahhh I’m currently a sucker for this!
First of all: I love the Names :3 Amore and Santino perfect couple. And perfect match! But Lorenzo?! Oh god I might have fallen in love 😩🥵 Amore’s personality was so lovely! How she tries to fit in but also be herself but ALSO get what she promised her mom. I think she’s next to Aine one of my fav. FMC by Eva (: Santino was a hot grumpy man! And I can’t resist a hot and grumpy man 😩 His obsession and possessive attitude with Amore UGH I melted! 🥵
Second of all: Storyline - I was happy with how everything went because it was like: up up up up and then everything went downhill at some point and my little poor heart couldn’t take it. I shouldn’t have been surprised with Eva’s newest book but well… you always want to expect something different xd When it goes up the whole time you have to go down at some point and it was like a fucking bomb! I hated this book at a few points and wanted to give up but I couldn’t because it was so good! AHHHH! XD IT WAS COMPLETE TORTURE BUT IT WAS SO GOOD!
Last but not least: This was the first book I read where they had this much sex lmao. They were literal sex addicts 😂 Nothing to complain here! But they had a looooot of sex! (If that’s nothing for you please think about reading it first) ———————————— Spice: 5/5 Cuteness: 4/5 (it came towards the end but the beginning was more banters and teasing :3 - Nothing wrong with that! But it wasn’t the romantic and cute side I’m meaning :3) Action (for Mafia Stories mainly): 5/5 (gave me a lot of heartattacks) Storyline: 5/5 Names: 5/5 All in All: 4.8/5 ———————————— Fav. Quotes out of the book (could contain spoilers for anyone!)
1. I never lost my cool, but I had gone fucking bananas
2. A woman with curves and a soft body that called to me. I wanted to know every inch of her body and soul; break her, only to put her together again and ruin her for any other man. Amore Bennetti was mine.
3. “And if they touch you, I’ll burn the flesh off their hands so that the pain is the last thing they remember before I slice their throats.” […] “No, I don’t,” I told her, my voice growling. “I swear to God, Amore, if I find out another man touched you, I’ll hunt them down and chop them into pieces. Their hands will be delivered to you in a box. As a reminder that only I touch you.”
4. “You know, Santi,” I murmured, as I slid off the hood of his sexy red Maserati. “You can’t keep ripping my panties. That’s twice now in twenty-four hours.” “You shouldn’t wear panties. I kind of like the idea of your pussy open and accessible to me whenever I want to stick my cock inside you.”
5. “It took me a while to realize it, but you’ve had it all along. I love you, Amore Bennetti. For as long as Russo blood flows through my veins, I will love you. You are my heartbeat, the blood pulsing through my veins, my oxygen. You are my life.”

I started this review before I even finish reading this book because its so thicc and I need to get it out. THEY. ARE. AMAZING. Santino and Amore were born for each other. There’s no way any arranged marriage will keep them apart. Their relationship blossomed beautifully. Their steamy scenes are *chefs kiss* (like give me all of the breeding kink😩👀).
I'm probably gonna ramble about this book forever as I do all of Eva's because they're ALWAYS SO GOOD. I am beyond words. Not only were Santino and Amore amazing as a couple, her abuelita was the perfect sprinkle of sarcasm and diva energy. That woman.... Omg, I swear she's double agent (figuratively and literally; if you read this book, you'll see why). I found myself laughing every once in a while because of her. Dropping that bomb at the party really sealed it😂
Anyways, Santino and Amore came a long ways from where they had begun: a teenage girl thrown into the Mafia world after the deaths of her mom and step-dad and a 20-something-year-old who practically was already established to be become the future don. Their families were rivals but the arrival of Amore changed that. Amore and the Russo brothers quickly became friends. That friendship and her mom's wishes for Amore to not be in the Mafia is what made an arranged marriage be born...
That was a twist. There was also another twist after that. The drama just kept going. It's an amazing read! I'll sound like a broken record 😂
5 stars will not be enough for this book. I'm still amazed by the amount and intensity of feelings a book can bring out of a reader. I experienced a lot of different emotions while reading this book. It is rare for me to actually feel some emotions other than the usual while reading a (dark) romance. While reading I got the opportunity to actually feel more.
This book takes you through all the ups and downs of mafia life. It literally has all the elements of the mafia world and all the elements together complement each other perfectly.
While reading you come across some time jumps and flashbacks. This is very well done and enhanced the storyline more. I liked the upbuilding and that we see the characters at different stages of their life.
The heroine is a real boss babe who knows what she wants. She speaks her mind and nothing beats a strong female character who has been through a lot. The hero is sweet, dominant and possesive. I'll list some features here, but I could go on for hours about him. The tension between them is amazing and the steam blush-worthy.
The other characters mentioned in this book have the ability to grab your attention. It made me curious about their own story. I hope that in the future we get the chance to read individual storylines of each of them.
This story was so good that the moment I opened it, I did nothing else until I had finished it, and it was lengthy. There's so much going on that my head was spinning the whole time as it involved Mafia, Cartel, and the fashion world with Amore in the center of it all. This girl was inherently good who went through hell in her short life before learning that her father was head of a powerful crime family, and it took a cool minute before she stopped being so scared of him. It seemed like a bunch of people were fighting over her, and the person she wanted was the heir to the Russo family of the NY Cosa Nostra, Santino. He did his best to stay away from her as long as he could since there's an age gap, but once she was all grown up, the super sexy times began. Of course, he decided to break her heart which seriously set me off since she was always supposed to be his queen. On top of this drama, the danger to Amore is off the charts & it never stopped coming so the twists were definitely coming in hot. I love this author & all her work, but Sins of the Orchid is my favorite to date & I know I'm very biased at this point so I want everyone to experience it for themselves as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
First, let me say thank you, Ms. Winners for my advanced copy, for my honest opinion.
Did someone say mafia? Yes, please give me!
The book starts off with Amore at 13 battling the death of her mom, finding out her step dad was not her dad, and the fact that her real dad was the don of the Bennetti crime family. Lost and confused, she walked into the wrong territory. This is when her friendship and connection started with the Russo family. As the book went on, we got to watch her backbone strengthen. We got to watch her crush grow into love with Santiago. Now, watching their love evolve was beautiful. At first, he viewed her as a child but soon realized through the years that she was a beautiful woman.
Santiago was a complex man; his face showed no emotions. He protected his family at all costs, and that included Amore. He was the don after his father was murdered and he took that role seriously the only time he was sidetracked was when he realized his feelings for Amore.
Now, the side characters were great, and I look forward to their books. I only assume Adriano and Lorenzo are among them.
A Phenomenal Story...Don't Miss this Book! This is a 5+Stars book that I devoured. I have read a lot of Crime family books, and this is by far the best one ever! So many twists and turns. It will keep you guessing the entire story. The beautiful Amore is the heiress to the largest fashion houses in the world and daughter to a Crime Boss she didn't meet until she was thirteen. I loved how the story allows us to see how she grows from a young girl who suffered a terrifying tragedy to the woman she becomes. She is so loved by her father and brothers when they meet her, and she comes to live with them. Then there's Santino, the handsome son of another Crime family. I loved how Amore and Santino came to meet along with his dad and brother. The book will take you on a journey that is filled with so many emotions. I was on edge the entire time waiting to see what would happen next. This isn't your ordinary La Cosa Nostra story, this is an epic tale that will have you flipping pages as fast as you can. It's a love story that will break your heart. Eva Winners invested a lot of time writing this story as it's over 500 pages that you will not want to put down.
this was one of my anticipated arcs of april & it DID NOT disappoint! this is a pretty thick book but i swear i could not put it down. there were SOO many twists & turns, it was seriously a roller coaster of emotions.
let’s start with Amore. she is a badass fmc and you know how much i love those. she is suddenly integrated into a life of mafia & organized crime where they treat women in an extremely diminishing way and let me tell you: SHE DOESN’T TAKE ANYONES SHIT!! i loved watching her grow into her unapologetically badass self. i loved her relationship with her brothers, Adriano and Santi. Seriously, she has ALLL these alpha male figures in her life and she brings them all to their knees.
The storyline is crazy. Like I said, this is a pretty thick read but Eva keeps it SOO exciting. there are so many sweet moments but also moments where you literally HAVE to keep reading. the spice is immaculate. the family dynamics, amazing!! and the plot twists, unexpected!!
this was such a fun and crazy read! i loved every second of it!
tropes: - mafia - dark romance - age gap - alpha male - badass fmc
Eva Winners is very quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. I always get excited when her next read lands in my hands. Sins of the Orchid is no exception. While this book is a bit longer than her usual books, it take you on one hell of ride. This is by far my favorite of Eva Winners' books.
The best part about this book is that it starts at the very beginning of the relationship between Amore Benneti and Santino Russo. From the very first meeting in front of the Russo Family restaurant, Santino alpha-male protectiveness runs deep. As Amore grows from a young girl into a young woman, his feelings for her shift.
Amore is one strong female character. She is a force to reckoned with and she is the perfect match for Santino. She is a powerful woman dedicated to her family's empire, seeking revenge for her mother, and in her friendship with Adriano. You could have a more perfect heroine.
I cannot wait to see what Eva Winners has up her sleeves for her next novel.
Having read Ms.Winners’s work many times before I always look so forward to picking up a new book of hers! Ever since Sins of the Orchid was announced it piqued my interest and I couldn’t wait to pick it up. I so enjoyed this story!
Amore and Santino’s journey got my attention quickly! I wasn’t sure what all to expect going into their story and that got me into it even more! I couldn’t wait to see how these two would tackle things. I really enjoyed the chemistry between these two. I felt so many things from beginning to end with them!
Amore was such a great heroine and i fell for Santino!
With Sins of the Orchid, Ms.Winners has created such a good and dark read! I am so looking forward to more from her!
*I volunteered to read and review a copy of this book from Give Me Books Promotions / the author*
When I first started reading this book I was Worried because it was a slow start for me. But once it started going, holy cow I couldn’t but it down. Amore’s family is in the fashion business and the mob business, one is more dangerous then the other. Santi is the mob, he lives it and it’s everything to him. There is only one thing he is more obsessed with than the mob and that is Amore and her safety. Will he act on his feelings for her? Can he keep her safe? Amore and Santi are in danger and we don’t know who to trust and who not to. This was a great read with a great amount of drama and suspense. This story was layered with a lot going on and kept me very entertained. I look forward to reading more books by this author.
If you want a tale of love and sin, secrets and lies, and oh so much action, then this comes highly recommended!
Eva has done it yet again, she has brought the whole book to life in her own special way,and I didn't want it to end.
Amore met Santino when she was young,he cared for her like one of his family, but then the whole aspect of his vision of her changed and he knew he needed her, more than the air that he breathed.
They had to get over so many obstacles to live a perfect life together, but two people as strong-willed and passionate as Santino and Amore, nothing would get in their way.
Trust me when I say, this book will keep you on your toes, and your heart beating nine to the dozen...from start to finish it kept me enthralled and left me wanting more.
