    This book started well and put me into Tessa's shoes right off. She is a bit juvenile in her expectations of Mason, but some people go thru life nursing a naiveté that the rest of us find ill-fitting. Such is life. She is a beautiful, loving character, driven to succeed and fierce in her pursuit of what she wants in life.
    Mason has blinders on. He sees music and nothing else. So, in that way, Mason and Tessa are perfect for each other. His abrupt introduction to the real world was painful to watch, but I’m glad he woke up and took a big whiff of the coffee. I think the world is a more exciting place to be in if you must work and fight at least a little bit for what you want and need.
    There is more conflict in this book than there was in the first book of the series. It made things seem more real and not a fairy tale where everything is beautiful and perfect, and the sun shines on everyone and nobody poops. Mason Wilder is a book where somebody might poop. (but off-page, please) I like to feel like I can relate to the characters in a book. I can better relate to these characters this go around.
    I was quite creeped out by the antagonist. She made my skin crawl. Ugh.
    I enjoyed this. I would typically read something grittier, but this is a sweet escape from the bad things in the world.
    Tessa and Mason are a sweet couple. There is love, passion, comfort in familiarity, and hope for a happy future.
    I look forward to more from this author.

    I had to look up all my books by this author to make sure I have them all. And I do only they are under different covers. But this new series is fantastic. I love these kids, they are so down to earth and love able 🥰. I still have a hard time picturing New York and not California though 😜. What I like be most about these rock stars and that includes their parents and the entire rock family, is the simplicity and devoted love for one another. That soothes my heart ❤️. Because in real life so many talented lives have been lost to drugs and depression, when if they had given them selves a few more years and a step out of the false facade of what their record producers push on them, maybe they could have lived a more round life, like this in this story 🎶🎵🎼🤧🥰👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

    As a huge fan of this entire series I couldn't wait for this book and dreaded it coming, only because there's a finality to it. Tessa grew up idolizing Mason since she could walk, Mason always thought of Tessa as a little sister. I thought how this played out was super cute and pretty typical, Mason being clueless and all. I really enjoyed the added conflict that arrived as it brought this series full circle. BTW if this is the last we see of the Immortal Angel/Prodigy family, Angel & Tessa could write a cookbook, as with everything else in this series, I would read it ;)

    I loved this book so much! It was Sweet, Hot & Fun! Tessa & Mason were destined to be together but does Mason see it that way? Tessa does but how long will it take Mason to realize it? I cried happy tears at some points reading their story. I was also fuming at other times but you’ll need to read it to find out why. I love this generation of Radical Rockers and loved that we get to have more from the first generation! Thank you Jenna for another rocking read!

    I fell in love with Mason way back when he was first introduced to the series (I can't quite remember if he appeared in The Prince of Punk Rock, or if that was just his *lovely* biological mother, but regardless) when he was just a sweet little boy. And, of course, I have adored Tessa's parents as long.

    With Lucas having been released first, I've had a bit of time to adjust to the idea that these kids are all grown up, and that their parents are pushing middle age (wait, what?!?!) I could also see Tess' crush coming, so I wasn't quite as blindsided as certain other characters when it was revealed. I'm not sure that this kind of romance is quite what I would seek out, but I learned long ago not to underestimate Ms. Galicki's ability to have me absolutely immersed in something out of my normal wheelhouse.

    One of the absolute highlights of both Mason and Lucas has been the glimpses of the entire Immortal Angel crew. For long time fans, this will be especially true of Mason. I won't go into spoiler territory, but there is an event that will bring a lot of history back to light and that will involve everyone interacting with Mason. If it's possible to be nostalgic over things that happened in a fictional world you delved into ~4 years ago, this book does that beautifully.

    While there are indelible ties to the Radical Rockstars series, the Lucas Blade and Mason Wilder duet are definitely their own series and could definitely be read as standalones, both from the older series, and from each other. While I think the prior knowledge enhances these, they are written in a way that they are absolutely complete.

    Highly recommended for rockstar romance lovers near and far.
