The progeny of legendary punk rock band Immortal Angel bring you an enemies-to-lovers and friends-to-lovers duet.
Lucas Blade, Radical Rock Stars Next Generation Duet, Book #1
He’s the son of guitar legend, Tommy Blade. He's smart. He's gorgeous. He's talented beyond belief. He’s perfect. And he knows it. He’s also giving me the opportunity of a lifetime. He’s trying to teach me his wisdom, but I just want to play music. He’s so damn confident and self-assured it makes me crazy. He's also breaking through all of my barriers.
She’s a spitfire. She's got a smart mouth and an answer for everything. I’m trying to help her, but she’s fighting me every step of the way. She challenges me, something no one has ever done before. I can’t stand her, but I can’t stop thinking about her, either.
Lucas Blade was born into a world of extravagance. Sindy Cavanaugh can barely afford to pay for necessities.
He has a close and loving family who support him. She has dysfunctional parents who only call her for money.
Their backgrounds couldn’t be more different, but music brought them together.
From the moment they meet, they challenge one another with defiant attitudes and oversized egos, and their constant arguing disrupts rehearsals. They come to realize that the turbulence between them is really only a guise for suppressed passion.
With their band about to go mainstream, they need to figure out if they should put their feelings on hold or risk everything they’ve worked toward.

I am a huge fan of The Radical Rock Stars and all this book did was remind me why. Emotions leap off the pages and I dare you not to reach for tissues every time Lucas and Tommy Blade appear in a scene together. Sindy and Lucas are adorable together, but where the book really shined is the closeness of all the characters. They are truly an Immortal Angel family. Oh and that epilogue - Scorching🔥🔥🔥
Lucas is the son of legendary rocker Tommy Blade. He has grown up in the rock lifestyle and knows of it's pitfalls. He is used to getting any woman he wants but Sindy, his sister's best friend is different. Sindy is used to fending for herself, with parents that only bother her for money. She is part of the band but the chemistry between her and Lucas is electric. Will the couple be able to have band and relationship or will things fall apart? A good low angst read that you can relax and chill out with just to read.
🔥 More to love as the new generation rocks your world! 🥰
I've already read and loved Jenna Galicki's smoldering Radical Rockstars, especially Tommie, Jessi and of course, Angel too. Every book left me more in awe of these wonderfully unique characters and the sweet, sexy and steamy ways they lived and loved together as one beautiful, spectacular family.
Since then, I've had the next generation in my sights and on my to read list. Finally, I found myself totally engrossed in this story with the sweet, kind but very hot Tommie lookalike- his gorgeous, talented son, Lucas Blade and the other young rockers who embodied the best of their parents while making their own epic mark on the world of music.
Lucas had his eye and heart set on a woman who flipped his world upside down from the first moment she angrily crossed his path. After meeting this down on her luck, driven woman, I respected how hard she persevered to make it through her day and hoped for every good thing to come her way. Lucas, Tessa- his feisty younger sister, best friend- drummer extraordinaire, Mason Wilder and a surprising addition to their tight knit group, will be sure to keep you glued to these pages, wondering what might happen next in their quest to follow in the famous footsteps of the ones they love most- the iconic members of Immortal Angel.
Besides revisiting the love I couldn't help but feel all over again while in the warm presence of the fun, caring and inclusive Blade- Garcia family, one of my favorite parts of this book was getting to know these creative and super talented younger generation rockstars on the rise. Hanging out in their home with all that love kept a huge smile plastered on my face throughout this entire book. It had the perfect blend of humor, warm, fuzzy feelings and fun surprises that welcomed me back into this world and made me so darn thrilled that I chose this book above all others to read this week. Now, excuse me as I skip on over to Mason and Tessa's story which will no doubt be a wild ride from childhood best friends to something much, much more. I can't wait for every juicy and wonderful detail!! Can you tell how much I adore this huge family and the irresistible next generation of Jenna Galicki's Radical Rockstars??
This story of how the next generation gets their start as the band Prodigy, has a wonderful story line. Readers are treated to getting to know Lucas, Sindy, Tessa and Mason, the four talented members of the band. Lucas fights to win the battle of being recognized as Tommy’s son but not as hard as he does trying to stay away from their newest member, Sindy. She’s wicked talented on her guitar but she holds onto some secrets carried over from her past. Meet the members and follow them to fame and fortune as Prodigy. .
To say that this was a great book which I enjoyed would be an understatement! Just like his father, Lucas is a sensitive and caring soul. Sindy was a delight and challenged Lucas at every turn. Their head butting was a form of foreplay! They really were perfect adversary’s.
This was a trip down memory lane that was one I loved revisiting with Jessi, Tommy and Angel. It’s nice to read what their lives are like today with grown children setting out on their own!
***Possible Spoilers*** I enjoyed getting to know the adult children of the Immortal Angels’ family. Getting back in touch with the members of Immortal Angel is a huge bonus. They are still deeply enamored of their spouses and continue to share a great passion. This is a kinder, gentler Radical Rock Stars world. The bad boys and girls have relaxed into their adulthood and, except for their still powerful gifts and sexual appetites, have moved past the rawness that defined that series. Lucas Blade has the looks and talent of a bad boy rocker, but at heart, he is gentle, kind and loving. He loves music and performing, but once he falls in love, he is willing to do whatever it takes to keep that person happy even if it means hiding their relationship. Sindy has had a hard life and is in awe of the lifestyle in which Lucas and his family live. She has a good work ethic and doesn’t hesitate to do what needs to be done to live and succeed in her regular life. The opportunity to become a member of Prodigy is something she finds hard to believe in, but once she is secure in the belief that it will happen, she decides that she cannot be happy on a personal level until some obscure future date. I wanted to slap her for that. The hunger that Sindy and Lucas share is strong and they are unable to deny it for very long, falling into each other’s arms without thought for the consequences, only for Sindy to deny them each time. Yeah. She needs a good pop. This is, on the whole, a sweet romance. Life is very easy for these people, with none of the wildness and over the top angst of previous books. It is well written, and there is a good flow to the work. I care about the characters even when I want to ground them and send them to their rooms. I look forward to Book 2.
I wish I could solidly say that this was a 4.. and it was until the very last chapter. There’s nothing I dislike more than reading the main character’s parents getting it on. No, no thank you. I didn’t end up reading it after I realised what was happening to be honest, I just couldn’t. And the reason this book isn’t a 5 star, which it definitely could have been, was because both Lucas and Sindy started off acting like total immature brats and it was ridiculous. Plus every time something sentimental happens, the parents always had a big part of loving with each other and it was eye rolling to me. Lucas and Tessa are both over the age of 21... they’re not babies, though they came across as teenagers a lot of the time with the way the parents treated them and with them not wanting to move out but stay with their parents? No. Not quite realistic to me.
Also, it may be a ‘CD’ that they were recording but it’s an ALBUM. That drove me INSANE!
Otherwise, I really loved the storyline and characters, LOVED the author’s writing style. It really pulls the reader in and keeps them there. Great attention to detail too. If prodigy was a real band, I’d listen to them!
If the characters maybe acted their ages, been less immature and bratty, I could have probably connected more with them.
Overall it was a fabulous read, and I’m a rock star romance fan, and I’m definitely looking forward to Mason Wilder’s story!
This is the first book in a spin-off series of Radical Rockstars, Lucas Blade is the son of Angel, Jessie, and Tommy. This is the next generation of the Blade-Garcia family. I loved the original series and was so excited to get to meet this terrific threesome’s children. Lucas is so much like his dad and Tessa is a perfect combination of Angel and Jessie.
Lucas doesn’t want to ride on his parents coattails, he wants them to make a name for their band on their own merits. He is swoon-worthy and the poor guy is constantly being referred to as Tommy Blade’s son and not by his name. I loved getting to see him come into his own. Sindy was a free spirited girl just trying to make it in Long Island. She has a chance encounter with Tessa and they hit it off. Sindy is a spunky girl and gives it as good as she gets. She isn’t afraid to voice her opinion to anyone even Lucas. You can tell from their first riff in practice that there is a huge sexual tension between them. I loved their banter. They come from completely different backgrounds and upbringing but couldn’t be more perfect for one another.
I loved this story so much and highly recommend it. I cannot wait to get my hands on Mason’s book!
Lucas Blade is book one in the Radical Rock Stars next generation duet and the son of Tommy Blade. It's pretty scary (not in a bad way) how much the kids are like their parents. It's like two peas in a pod just moved a generation. Lucas was born into this life and while his parents taught him not to spend foolishly, he's used to getting any girl without trying cause of the limelight. That's until he meets Sindy. Sindy sure is a spit fire, challenges Lucas and though they are from complete opposite backgrounds shows she just wants to make music and the interaction with Tessa is true friendship. Fate had a little way with Sindy and you shall see why. Love how Lucas wanted to separate their band from Immortal to show they made it cause of the music and not their connections. If you've read Radical Rock Stars you'll love seeing these characters; if you have not read them as you will see in this story you will fall in love with them. Be sure to check out their stories! This story will keep you glued to your device seeing how this plays out. Love the ending and can't wait for Mason's story! Not a bad cliffy for a duet as you usually see-so that's Radical! haha
Coming back to the world that is Immortal Angel gave me all the feels! I love when the next generation gets their own story. We get a peak into my favorite trios lives now that they grown kids and see that their love and connection is as strong as ever.
Lucas, Tessa and Mason are ready to take their band to the masses they just needed one more addition to round out their sound and in walks Sindy. She was the perfect fit for them.
Lucas and Sindy are electric when it comes to music and once they let that electricity translate into the bedroom it’s off the charts. Sindy is sassy and has huge walls that Lucas is ready to scale. It’s nice to see the guy being more of the romantic.
The banter between brother and sister as well as lifetime friend Mason was funny and natural. The relationship between Lucas and his father Tommy Blade was one of my favorite parts of the book.
I am really looking forward to Mason and Tessa’s story!
“Lucas Blade is book number one in the Radical Rock Stars Next Generation Duet.
Lucas is the son of the legendary rocker Tommy Blade. He formed a band called Prodigy, together with her sister Tessa and Mason. Soon after, they decided to add a rhythm guitarist, that’s when our girl Sindy entered.
Lucas and Sindy chemistry was on fire. Their interactions were explosive and fiercely. Since the first moment the sparkles between them were settled yet they fought against it with so much intense that at some point they become kind of annoyingly funny. Their connection left me speechless. A bond deeper than just loving music.
I absolutely enjoyed this book. The story was so well developed and written. Jenna writing abilities amazed me, her plot trapped me until I reach the end. I looking forward for the next book.
Don’t miss this story, I highly recommend it to you.”
Lucas Blade is the first book in the Radical Rock Stars Next Generation Duet. I have read all the books in the first generation off Radical Rock Stars so I was excited when I seen a post that the kids stories were being written. Lucas, his sister Tessa, and Mason, formed a band called Prodigy. Their dialogue reminds me of how I'm with my own sibling, the teasing, taunting, speak your mind. They made me laugh. They have decided to add a rhythm guitarist, and in walks saucy Sindy. And boy does Sindy blow Lucas's mind. Get your mind out of the gutter I mean the way she can play her guitar. I liked the story, and seeing past characters as well as meeting the new ones. Looking forward to Tessa and Mason's story next.
Radical Rock Star is definitely my favorite series of books. When Jenna announced new books about the children, I was worried that they would take away from the original series. Well I was worried for nothing. Absolutely exceeded my expectations. Like all of Jenna's books, I was left with a hungry feeling for gourmet food, mind blowing sex, and more Galicki. Then Jenna tops it with an epilogue that not only has me downloading the next book but wanting my wife and me to push our kids to move out and stock up on olive oil. Needless to say, I loved the book just as I love everything Jenna writes.
So excited to be back in the Radical Rockstar world. This second generation is starting out great but I had no doubt because Jenna is a rockstar herself! Getting to know Lucas, Tessa & Mason all grown up is incredible! Now add Sindy to the mix and you get another amazing band story! Lucas & Sindy were a match made in heaven it just took them a little time to realize it. Sindy is also a perfect addition to the band. It was so great to catch up with the Immortal Angel family. I've missed them! I can't wait for Mason & Tessa's story. Thank you Jenna for the amazing & HOT epilogue!
What a fabulous book. I loved it! Spending time with the offspring of Immortal Angel has been a joy. Lovely characters, a deep love of music, a tender, sweet love story between two gorgeous characters in Lucas and Sindy and the opportunity to spend time with the hotness that is Tommy, Angel and Jessi. This is not a book with wrung out characters and heaps of angst and this is refreshing. It just is a charming story that had me sighing in pleasure. Sindy is such a tough yet vulnerable person and Lucas...well he's just a total sweetheart. Read and enjoy. 💖💖
This book started slow for me and I found Lucas and Sindy to be almost immature in how they were acting. It almost seemed like noone knew how old they were. The banter within the band is very much teasing and playful. Sindy is a awesome Rhythm guitarist and she blew Lucas's mind which was fun. These two when they finally get it right are adorable and they fell into it easily and by the end I was really happy for them and all they have.
This is the 1st book of the next generation of the Radical Rock Stars, the kids of Immortal Angel, Lucas, his sisters Tessa and Mason. They have a band called Prodigy, introducing new member Sindy to their world and band comes with challenges, she is on her own and struggling to pay bills and they are kids of rich famous rock stars. Lucas and Sindy have a chemistry and read the book for the story.......fast-paced and well written, romance, humor and hot rock star are an added plus!!!
I very much enjoyed reading this..I put my feet up got myself a cuppa and just chilled..It was a very easy read with loveable characters..Low in angst, high in feelings and love...Once again I love Jennas music within the book and how now I'll think of Lucas and Sindy when certain songs play..
Sindy and Lucas were loads of fun to read. The sex was hot. Sindy was a bit of a headache. I didn't like how she kept pushing Lucas away, even though she had her reasons. She was scared...after everything she'd been through..she deserved her space.
I absolutely loved this book. The story was well written and sucked me in and wouldn't let me go until the last page. Lucas and Sindy had loads of chemistry. I can't wait to read the next book in this series
