    I couldn't wait for this next book in the For You series, and it was everything and more that I hoped it would be.
    Beautifully written yet again, I fell in love with Jordan in this book. For a young man he certainly stood above all others. I could tell just what sort of a man he would be as the start of this book set up the rest of the story incredibly well.
    Emery deserved to have someone as special as Jordan in her life. Without giving away too much of the storyline, there is an awful sub story that unfortunately happens every day in all walks of life. It is something Emery has had to live with most of her life, and Jordan was her rock.
    It was great catching up with past characters as well, but I especially hope there will be more books to come.

    This is a sweet, easy going friends to lovers young adult, romance story that I enjoyed. It was extremely well written with characters that I enjoyed connecting with, they were easy to read and interesting to delve in to, so it was a win-win for me.

    Emery and Jordan have been friends since childhood and he has always been her protector and her best friend. Circumstances tear them apart and then four years later Emery returns. I loved the way that no matter what happened, they were there for each other through thick and thin, their bond was admirable and I found the story so engaging it was hard to put down at times. Anticipation was everything in this book and sometimes frustration too.

    Although I enjoyed this book, I would have liked a little more angst and passion between Emery and Jordan. This is part of a series, this being book four and although they can be read as standalone stories, I think I would have benefited from reading the other books first as all the characters are interconnected and this would given me a deeper development into this book and the secondary characters involved in it.

    Emery sought solace and comfort from Jordan at night when her stepfather’s yelling would scare her and she was unable to sleep. She would climb in his window so she could close her eyes and find some peace. Even though she was three years younger than him, they became fast friends. This went on for many years and during that time, they became best friends and did everything together. Emery attended all of his football games and was his biggest cheerleader. When she turned fifteen things changed; a teenage yearning replaced a light hearted friendship.

    Of course good things never last forever and without warning, Emery disappeared without saying goodbye to Jordan. He was devastated-his best friend was gone and it changed him, but not in a good way. Fortunately for Jordan, Alabama football beckoned, and off he went to college with memories of Emery tucked away in his broken heart. He became a different version of himself and he didn’t care how he treated people. He concentrated only on football and trusted no one. His heart still ached for Emery and he would never understand why she had left him.

    Until he saw her again.
    Why was she here and where had she been?
    Jordan needed to know, but wasn’t sure his heart could take it.

    “For Emery” is so much more than a sports romance. It touched my heart and made me really feel the deep connection that existed between Emery and Jordan. It is about friendship, understanding and being there when someone needed you the most. It was hard to put the book down and as I turned the pages, my heart beat faster as I followed their journey. This is the first book I have read by J.Nathan and I will definitely be reading more of her passionate stories.

    I just finished reading all the books in this series (except book 2, but that's because I don't like books with age gaps) and I simple HAVE to write a review. I loved all three books and can recommend them to everyone who likes college-sport romances. Especially because in this series, the sports are not just simply there to make the hero appear hotter. It's really part of the stories, which I totally liked. Thumbs up!

    "For Emery" is the newest book in this series, and I have to say, for me it's the most capturing one. That's because of the relationship between Emery and Jordan. It's just amazing how great the two are together. They have a history together and after 4 years without each other, they meet again and their connection is back.
    I loved all parts of this story.
    I loved the chapters where the two of them are younger, where we see how they met. These chapters totally help to understand the connection between Jordan and Emery.
    I loved the chapters in which the two get back together, where they get to know each other again.
    I loved the chapters in which they confess their love and become a couple because let's be honest, how could you not love that?
    I loved the chapters in which Emery "gets in trouble" and Grady supports her. He cares for her and does everything that's possible to help Emery. Later, she does the same for him and it's great to see how the two love each other.
    And I loved the ending of the book, the last chapters. I think they totally fit the story and the author made the right choice by writing them (and not just simply in the epilogue like in other books).

    Emery and Jordan as a couple are great together. You can feel their love from the start and throughout the story, there is never a time where you don't feel it. Nobody fits like Emery and Jordan do. It's amazing how Jordan cares about Emery, and the same goes for Emery. I could go on forever, but I'll stop and let you read yourself. Do it!

Quickly Emery’s feelings for Grady develop into a love like no other. Grady fights his feels for his younger neighbor until one night he gives in only to have her leave without a trace the next day. Rewind years later Grady is living out his dreams as Alabama’s most sought after defense-man for college ball. Angry and still holding on to the pass Grady has never been the same after Emery left. True love always finds a way back and now that Emery is back in town he will not let her go again. I loved this book so much! If you are a sucker for second chance romance and friends to lovers you have to read this!

    It felt like this was a first draft. All the bones were there for a great story, but it was rushed and missing so many elements.
    The development of the relationship between Emery and Grady (hospital names?) Was non existent when they are reintroduced.
    I also didn't love Grady and his cocky demeanor. I like an alpha male, but he's a cornball. I also didn't care for his flirty relationship with Sabrina.
    All in all, it's an ok read that I just wished had more depth and emotion.
