Certainly not Nya Perez...because that’s precisely what she’s done.

    Take Two is a new standalone novel written by Heather M. Orgeron. I am in LOVE with this authors writing and have been obsessed with her work since I read Boomerangers last year.

    This was such a gorgeous second chance romance. Liam had me swooning all over the place with his insistence to make things right with Nya he never stopped loving her and wouldn't stop at anything to get her back. Nya was a firecracker I loved everything about her and there little girl Ellie was damn cute!

    This book had me in fits of laughter, especially towards the end. The banter between these two was amazing, with some hot scenes that we all enjoy. A feel good, low angst that will give you all the feels with enjoyable secondary characters.

    I LOVED it and I cannot wait for Heathers next book!

    I have read a few books by this author and I have to say I have always finished them with a smile on my face and a renewed love of romance.
    Liam & Nya’s book was no different. A wonderful second chance at love story with the added twist that these two have previously been married. Both characters are some of the two best I have read recently. Nya is fiery, fierce and confident. But Liam ended up by being my favorite. What a gorgeous, gorgeous man. He really made the book that much more special to me. Add in their daughter and this book was beyond beautiful. I loved it!!

    This is a second chance romance rom-com that was a very easy going read. It was lighthearted, fun and well written. What did make this story stand out was the humour and the constant banter between Liam Watts and his ex-wife Nya Perez. When these two charismatic characters got started, in fact, they never stopped and it was a constant source my giggling out loud.

    I loved the feisty strong willed woman that Nya was, being Latino she had an answer for everything and a temper not to be messed with. The only person that constantly got under her skin and found her Achilles heel was Liam.

    I absolutely adored Liam. What a charmer; cocky and gorgeous, with a big heart which was all for Nya. There was no denying the love he felt for his ex-wife and he showed her in every way, every day. Swoon, what a man...I fell in love with him.

    In my opinion, this story would have benefited from a little more angst to add some oomph to it, sometimes it flowed a little too easy for my liking. However, saying that, when you added the child that they shared together into this story, one who they both loved dearly and didn't want to disappoint, plus lots of sexy times then this book makes for a really rewarding read.

    Oh Heather!! This book was amazing! Take Two was a laugh out loud, sexy, rom-com. Just when I thought I was done laughing, Heather would take it to another level! The splinter 😂

    Imagine waking up and realizing you just re-married your ex...yep...that’s what Nya did. How could she let something like that happen?? Lots of alcohol and a wish. A wish that belonged to their daughter, all she wanted for her birthday was for her parents to get back together.

    Could Nya give Liam another chance? Could their marriage work out better the second time around? Or would history repeat itself?

    How could anyone not want Liam?? He was so sweet and sexy!! Take two was low angst but lots of laughs! I could not put it down.

Can this new beginning be the one that heals the hurt on both sides or is this just another mistake? This was a book of humour and second chances for a couple that are clearly meant to be!

    It's rare that I’ve read a book where the hero and heroine are, or have been, married to each other and get their second chance. This is a new author for me, so I was a little skeptical when I started the book, but in no time at all I was engrossed in the story. And I now have another talent to add to my list of not-to-be-missed authors!

    Nya and Liam were young and in love. They married without the big wedding, and it lasted until their daughter was four. But underneath her fiery Latina personality is a woman who still feels a little uncertain and insecure. Liam broke her heart once, and if he does it again, Nya doesn’t think she'll survive it. But Liam knows he has a lot to make up for, and he's determined to win Nya's heart once more.

    Oh my heart, these two are so much fun, and so hilarious, but their story is so touching. I didn’t know whether I was coming or going between my side-splitting laughter and my heartstrings being manipulated so masterfully. They won me over from the beginning, and I was sorry to see the book end. It's charming, hilarious, steamy and heartfelt, and you definitely won’t want to pass this one up!
