    Oh my, where to start with this review. What an absolute cry fest of emotions, selflessness, and loyalty. This was written from the heart and extremely well too. This story is tragically beautiful.

    Willard and May have known each other since the age of four. They grew up together, fell in love and got married; a true fairy tale made in heaven. When May receives some devastating news their whole lives are turned upside down and this is where the story begins.

    The way this author has captured the love that Willard and May have for each other in this book was just outstanding and beautiful. I could feel it right down to my bones and it made me feel happy and warm. This sort of love doesn't come along too often, they were soulmates for ever.
    May is so strong and selfless in this story, I don't think I could have done what she did, I was in awe of this woman. Their family circle was so strong and loving it made me feel humble and privileged to be a part of their story that they told.
    Willard, oh Willard my heart broke for this man, so loving, so dedicated to the love of his life, to see him break totally broke me too. Their dreams, their future ripped apart; I was inconsolable all through this book.

    A MUST read if you like an emotional, heartbreaking story. Tissues WILL be needed by the box and maybe even alcohol too.

    Phenomenal in all ways possible. Just brilliant !!!

    Wow. What can I say about this book by Belle Brooks. As I sit here with tears streaming from emotions from reading this book it reminds me so much of my own story and emotions when my dad fell ill. I could feel the real emotions from May for the love she had for Willard and the rest of her family, the love she had for life and the love she had for the baby she was carrying. You could also feel the honest love Willard had for May from the moment they met at 4, to the day his emotions ran wild when he found out about May's illness to the moment he lost her. 

    This was a very emotional book all round. It was a true love story between two people who loved each other so much. I loved how Willard took her bucket list and did every single thing on the list bar one. It was a beautifully ending to a beautiful story. I want to congratulate Belle on such fantastic writing of a really hard topic that can sometimes be rushed and gotten so wrong. Reading it the first time round had me crying, reading it for the second time had my heart broken, tears flowing and contemplating the lives of Willard and Maybelline.

    I love a good, gut wrenching, sob. Love it! But this was a WHOLE new level! I think I’ve cried a lifetimes worth of tears from the start of this book. Every single page had me grabbing the tissues and stopping to catch my breath while my brain and heart processed this perfectly imperfect love story.

    Willard and Maybelline my my heart swell with love. I totally would have made the same decision as May did. I admire her strength and love. I love the family and friends who support them and, again, made me cry till my chest hurt. I’m so filled with love right now.
    The journey, from beginning to end, is beautifully tragic but so well written that I was immersed in their lives.
    So worth the headache, blocked nose, swollen eyes and broken heart.

    If you need to cry like you’ve never cried before..... this is the perfect book for you.

    This was a fabulous read, one that hit all the emotions and had me feeling so much. It's a difficult one to explain without spoiling something, as it's so beautifully intertwined, just know you'll be hit by a lot with this one.

    In all honesty, I would gladly list this book in my top 3 all time favourites and I read a lot!!

    I'm honestly not much of a cryer, but this one really got me! I really loved the list and it's name! I think Will was portrayed very well. I liked that he seemed real in his emotions and showed anger. There were a couple times where it felt a touch rushed but I think that might just be me. I had to remind myself this isn't a 300-500 page book. The ending was not what I expected, which was a very pleasant surprise! Brooks did an incredible job with this story!
