I want Hadley Holiday. In fact, I've been obsessed with her for months. But a good girl like her would never be with a scoundrel like me.
My reputation is shot. Asking Hadley to fake a relationship with me to improve my image would be the easy way out, but it could ruin her. No thanks. I've got a better idea, and my plan will work perfectly as long as I can keep my hands to myself.
I can be a good boy. Really, I can. Until I can't.

Untrainable is my very first book by Jamie Schlosser. I had an inkling that I was going to really enjoy this book going in. It’s the exact sort of book I normally go for. But, what I didn’t expect is the way this book grabbed my heart, pretty much right from the start. These characters! They were amazing.
Theodore (Theo-Dog) Legend was used to being the bad boy, the one to attract all the negative attention. It’s just what he did, what he’d always done. One big mistake that involved a lot of alcohol and a fire hydrant gave him the nickname, Theo-Dog. Theo is a product of reality television. Currently he is not working and is about broke. But he has an idea. It came to him after he first saw her, Hadley Holiday. She was a participant on the program, The Final Showdown. Her act with her border collie was adorable. Theo doesn’t necessarily believe in love at first sight. What would he know about love? All he does know is that he has to know her. That somehow he has to be a part of her life. Thus his idea for a new show. It’s perfect.
Hadley got her college degree in accounting. But after her experience on The Final Showdown, even though she didn’t win, she knew that somehow she wanted to pursue a career in show business. When she was approached about a brand new show with tv’s bad boy, Theo Legend, she’s all in. Not to mention the fact that he is gorgeous. But there’s more to it than that. There was something there in the way he looked at her, in the way he made her feel.
“No one had ever looked at me that way before. Like he was a starving man and I was the last snack on earth. Unfortunately, I wasn’t on the menu.”
Theo and Hadley’s feelings escalate quickly but they are forced to keep things secret. Their show is all about fixing Theo, not romancing Theo. All of this is happening right at Christmas time. Theo has never experienced a real family Christmas before. Hadley’s parents, though, put a little spin on their Christmas festivities, and Theo seems to fit right in, loving every minute of it. It also gives them some time away from the cameras to explore their relationship in privacy.
“Undressing Hadley was like unwrapping the best present ever. All the gifts I’d missed out on. All the disappointments of my past…it was like the universe was reimbursing me for all the heartache I’d been through.”
“I never knew I could feel destroyed, yet whole at the same time. Like Hadley broke me apart, then put me back together the way I was always meant to be.”
These two! I couldn’t have loved them more. It started out with Hadley being nervous and out of her element. But she was a strong, determined woman. She knew what she wanted. She wanted this career and she wanted Theo. She saw the man he was inside. The man no one else ever bothered to look for. The man she loved. Theo didn’t need fixing. He just needed to be loved. And she was definitely the person to do it.
If you want a feel good book that is going to leave you with all the warm and fuzzies you can handle, this is for you. It is steamy and sweet and just plain perfect. This might have been my first Jamie Schlosser book but I can guarantee you, it won’t be my last.
Theo Legend, 24, has a tabloid bad rep and a crush on an up-and-coming talent show star. Hadley Holiday, 22, has found that the limelight on her dog training routine is more career inspiring than accounting, but will she still feel the same way when she sees the destructive side of the paparazzi?
Unlike so many contemporary romances that start out with the heroine down on her luck, here we find the hero down and out. Theo’s practically broke and definitely lonely, but he isn’t broken and the tone is never angsty; it’s just heartwarming and in a place or two heartbreaking, but that just makes you root all the more for Theo to go from underdog to top dog. And the romance leads the way.
“Years from now, I’d be able to pinpoint the exact moment I lost my heart completely for the first time. Hopefully the only time, if I had anything to say about it.” —Theo
Theo is sweet, flirty, dedicated, and unfiltered. It was easy to see why Hadley was attracted to him too.
“Being turned-on was way better than having a panic attack, and I was fully prepared to keep her in a constant state of frustration if I had to.” —Theo
Their entertaining banner flowed smoothly:
“My cock twitched three times in quick succession, her close proximity causing an ill-timed happy dance in my pants.” —Theo
“For the sake of my sanity, I really hoped he was planning to wear jeans for the show. And maybe some underwear with crotch-confining support. Like a girdle, but for penises.” —Hadley
And when it came time for their sexy times they left any cheesy lines behind as the writing captured the tenderness between them alongside some seriously steamy moments and moves.
This is romance through and through. Theo and Hadley complement each other well, an important quality to a lasting relationship. They really did bring out the best in each other and knew how to inspire one another.
“My entire life, I’d been shown greed and selfishness. It was familiar to me. It was what I knew. I didn’t like it, but I understood it. I didn’t understand this. Sacrificing so much without something to gain was unfathomable in the world I grew up in.” —Theo
Told via their dual, alternating first person POV, these little touches of humanity and moments of joy not only added substance to the story, but also make it a perfect feel-good holiday romance. I usually don’t care to read about “celebrities” but Theo and Hadley were such real people that it was easy to relate to them.
Speaking of Hadley, she’s sweet and genuine, and I seriously appreciated how she stood up for herself and took charge when she needed to. But her taste in Christmas music? *shakes head, closes eyes, and tries to pretend I didn’t read that*
Now her parents and their Christmas traditions are a riot! I’d watch a reality show of them and I don’t even watch reality TV. Speaking of future shows…I mean books, I’m definitely interested in Aiden’s but also can’t help but hope that Hadley and Theo get the opportunity to meet Estelle and Emery at some point. Till then, this is definitely going in my re-read pile. Romance reading is about relaxing and escaping, and this tale accomplishes just that. Safety Recap:

This book is a very sweet romance between Theo and Hadley. He seems to be a bad boy but he is not as bad as it is told in the media news. He has a background story that reveals a sad past with awful parents that has made him self-destructive. Hadley, on the other hand, has amazing parents who are loving and fun. When Theo and Hadley come together, it is the meeting of the opposites.
Hadley is an over- achiever, a perfectionist. She is serious about everything. Theo is broke, poor and jobless. In this story, the hero is the weaker one and the heroine is the stronger one. She is the one who saves him with her love and acceptance.
Theo has long been stalking Hadley, who once appeared on a TV contest. He wants to meet her for personal reasons as he likes her a lot but also, he wants to work with her to clear his bad image and reputation because she is now America’s sweetheart. So, he plans a new show and includes Hadley; she agrees to the show and they start working together.
Theirs is insta-lust/love. Hadley is a virgin but not a prude. She is 22 years old. They have amazing moments together. They are so very sweet, cute and adorable together. I liked both characters a lot, but especially Theo.
Plus, there are dogs involved in the story, which adds a tender touch to it.
All in all, the book is sweet, emotional and hot. The writing is good and it is safe.
Do not expect too much from this book but if you want a sweet romance, then, this would be a great choice and in this season, it would also make an excellent beach-read!
Here are some nice quotes from the book:
“I just want you too much”. Bringing his hand to my face, his thumb caressed my jaw as he stared at my lips. “I wanna touch you every-fucking-where.” Then his eyes locked with mine, that melted chocolate warming me from the inside out. “I’d give just about anything to kiss you, but for your own benefit I have to warn you—it’d be best if you didn’t return these feelings.” Silly man. Couldn’t he see the same need reflected back at him? “Too late,” I whispered, and Theo dropped his forehead to mine.
***
“So what you’re saying is, you’re kind of obsessed with me?” “Hadley, there’s no ‘kind of’ about it.” Oh. He wasn’t kidding about being honest. The intensity in his voice, his hungry gaze, the words he was saying. It was almost too much.
***
Undressing Hadley was like unwrapping the best present ever. All the gifts I’d missed out on. All the disappointments of my past… It was like the universe was reimbursing me for all the heartache I’d been through.
***
Tonight Hadley did something no one else had ever bothered to do. She put herself in the line of fire to save me from myself.
***
He thought I’d give up on him so easily. Because that was what people did to him. He also thought I couldn’t handle all this media drama, and he was wrong on both accounts.
***
I knew love wasn’t something he’d received much of in his life, but he was about to get a big, heaping pile of it. A love dumping, you could say. Something called tough love.
***
When this all started, I’d set out on a mission to help her, but she was the one who ended up saving me. From my grief. From the media. From my recklessness. Part of me wished I could say I was the hero in this story. But nah… she earned that victory, too.
‘Years from now, I’d be able to pinpoint the exact moment I lost my heart completely for the first time. Hopefully the only time, if I had anything to say about it.’
If you’re a mood reader like us and like to scroll through your kindle to find the perfect book to suit your mood you may be lucky like us and find a gem of a story. We needed something sweet, romantic, funny and light with an added bonus of the Christmas feels. Untrainable ticked every box and then some. It pretty much had everything and we had a perma smile on our face with a few moments of heart-breaking sadness thrown in. Untrainable was our first book by author Jamie Schlosser but it certainly won’t be our last. Beautifully written, great characters and full of emotion, we’ll be checking out more books by this author.
‘I’m a broke, washed-up, has-been reality star who isn’t even famous for anything other than being a giant screw-up.’
The theme of this story is reality shows – the ups and downs, and how fickle an audience can be. The world is full of judgement and everyone thinks they know who a person is from their appearances on the screen as well as their social media. Anyone can be anyone, but it’s all surface until you get beneath the layers of a person and what their life has truly been like and still is. People show others what they want them to see. It’s also a story of family, how important our experiences are with loved ones, which leave a mark.
‘Now this…This was home. I rubbed at my sternum, where an ache of longing filled my chest.’
Theo is in need of a public persona redemption. He grew up on a reality show but quickly became the resident bad boy whose final downfall was a drunken pee on a fire hydrant in front of the paparazzi. Whilst he’s from a wealthy family, he’s as broke as they come, which when we learn the story behind this our hearts broke for him. Theo is a lonely man sat in his apartment becoming obsessed by Hadley, a gorgeous and sweet reality star. He stalks her online until he knows everything there is to know and comes up with a brilliant plan to redeem himself and meet the woman he’s lost his heart to.
‘I knew love wasn’t something he’d received much of in his life, but he was about to get a big, heaping pile of it. A love dumping, you could say. Something called tough love.’
Hadley is a family oriented wholesome girl who loves dogs and is known for training them. After a stint on a reality show she’s found her niche so when approached for a new show she jumps at the chance. Little does she know that saying yes will change her life in so many ways.
‘I reluctantly slid my hands away, knowing I needed to let go now. Any embrace outlasting five Mississippi’s with a stranger was highly inappropriate.’
We fell in love with Theo and Hadley. Both were brilliantly written characters who had a real connection and laugh out loud banter. The instant attraction grew into something so much more and we felt it every step of the way. Their story was so entertaining and there were moments where we couldn’t stop laughing at the shenanigans from other characters too. So original, so romantic and so very Christmassy fun! Untrainable is a story of romance and love, it’s a story of families and how our past can shape our future. If you’re a romantic at heart, love dogs as well as Christmas, you will fall in love with this book!
Untrainable is a funny and sweet romcom! It's my first book by Jamie Schlosser and I look forward to reading more! Theo and Hadley's story will warm your heart and have you rooting for them to find their HEA. Yes, things start off a bit unconventionally and are fueled more initially by lust, but the instalove is balanced by the connection these two share. Both are kind of lost when we first meet them, but together they help and heal each other. Theo's past was so heartbreaking and explained so much about the persona he projected and what he felt he needed to (and was willing to) do for love. It was such a stark contrast to Hadley's family and their interactions with each other. My favorite part of the book were the Christmas scenes at Hadley's parent's house. The no holds barred prank wars had me laughing out loud! The epilogue was perfectly sweet and will leave readers with a smile on their face.
*I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book*
10+++ FAB, funny & sweet stars!! Theo & Hadley are fast favorites for me! This story is a super entertaining ride from start to finish. I love their banter (steamy time banter is the best, don't ya know??) and they get to spend a holiday together which provides a LOT of LOL moments! The supporting cast is also enjoyable, and I'm hoping Theo's brother gets a book (hint hint dear author). *grin*
This is one of my top recommendations for 2018! Enjoy!! : )
I always like Jamie Schlossers books. I don’t need to be wary when I pick them up.
They’re light, sweet, endearing, safe and funny.
Theo (24) is a washed up teen reality TV star who has a really bad rep for being this “wild child” partier with news outlets naming him “Theo-Dog”. The reality show starred his family - step dad, half brother and mum, but his wild antics were mostly a cry for help, and love due to neglected parenting. It’s been over a couple years since the shows ended.
Hadley (22) comes from a small town in the South, and recently entered a talent competition with her dog where she ranked third place. Theo has been obsessed with Hadley since seeing her on TV; he doesn’t just think she’s gorgeous but her anal retentive personality and awkwardness calls to him. More than that he believes she could be exactly what he needs to redeem his image, and that’s how he plans to meet her.
Heads up: heroine is a virgin, but it works really well in the story because of her quirky personality (she has had two boyfriends). Hero falls quicker, is not a manwhore, just gave that impression for the ratings on his family show.
Ready set --- head for the potty pads because once again Jamie Schlosser gets the reader unaware and into giggle fits. I first found Jamie's writing in Untamable. If you've not read that book, YOU NEED TO. It's not a necessary to proceed with Untrainable, but more of a moral imperative. Because it's fucking funny.
⚠ #FavoriteLine / #BestScene ⚠ I didn’t mean to stare at it, but it was just *right there*. Out in the open. And alarmingly large. It was like spotting a rare animal in the wild. The thing practically needed its own Australian accented voiceover. -Hadley (Untrainable, by Jamie Schlosser) . ⚠ #REVIEW ⚠ > > Judging a Book by its Cover < < Cute, fun cover of an attractive couple in a playfully intimate pose. Synopsis sounds thoroughly entertaining.
Having read Untamable, I’d hoped for the same type of entertaining humor and warm character development. I was not disappointed. I laughed, I choked up with tears, I felt many things during this reading and loved it all. Hadley is a sweetheart, dying to let loose a little. Losing a talent contest endears her to the public and catches the attention, eye, and heart of winner’s older brother. Theo is a reality star bad boy (made for TV, perpetuated by paparazzi & social media) that just wants to tame it down. After seeing Hadley’s routine on the talent show his brother inevitably won, he sets a plan in action to help make her dreams come true. The idea of a new reality show as co-star strikes and he’s determined to make it a success for her. Instant attraction, failed denials, and plenty of social faux pas keep the story moving along with a light and sexy entertainment. Chemistry was never an issue. Supportive secondary cast provide suitable interaction. Dialogue is smart. Conflicts were minimal and resolutions were swift and simple. Predictability was low. The conclusion was solid. Hoping Aiden gets the next book, gah! Stoked!! Loved the story and the main characters and would recommend it to any RomCom Romantic Comedy readers. . 4.5 Stars A beautiful, poignant, heart-wrenching story that brings you characters that will steal your heart.
Theo is trying to come back from ruining his own public reputation. His family was on a reality show years ago and he's still in the public eye. He is constant fodder for the gossip rags and he feeds the best with bad decisions. He's ready for a change. He wants to turn his bad reputation around and he knows just the woman to help him out.
Hadley Holiday is currently America's Sweetheart. After being a runner up in a talent competition that aired across the country, she caught Theo's attention. She's a sweet, wholesome girl who is loving, giving and loyal. All she wants to do is find a job that she loves to pay the bills. Opportunity is about to come knocking.
Theo's proposal for a new reality show could not have come at a better time.
This story was emotional and pulled at the heartstrings. Hadley and Theo had an amazing connection and super hot attraction. This story was so much more than I expected. Theo was a good guy, with a good heart but his self-sacrificing nature put him on the wrong path. To move forward and have a better life, Theo is going to have to own his past and learn to let go of the hurt. Hadley, she's the perfect person to stand by his side and show him that love is unconditional. There were some great characters, a few tears, laugh out loud pranks and special moments that I won't soon forget. Read it! You are going to love Theo and Hadley.
4.5 stars Untrainable is an interesting and rather different story centering on Theo and Hadley! The genuine feelings behind the characters and the beautiful friendship that develops is rather wonderful! It took me a little bit to get into the book but I was tearing up part way through and laughing with the characters! Hadley and her family are an absolute hoot and I felt sad that Theo didn’t have that in his family! I wondered how things would progress and if there would be a happily ever after! Theo really endeared himself in so many ways if not for his beautiful compassionate heart! I enjoyed reading this book and thought the storyline was unique! Theo bares himself to Hadley and theres a raw emotion and sizzling connection between the two that is undeniable! The storyline hooked me and I especially loved how it ended!
So good! I loved that this was such a sweet story that was pretty low on angst. The real Theo was as awesome as his parents were terrible. Hadley was adorable and her family was the best! I found me a new author to stalk. Now I need to find the time to read the rest of her books!
NOTHING has happened. The hero has a crush on a "wholesome" dog trainer contestant (wholesome???) that he's seen on TV, and he convinces a producer that she can "fix" him in a new show. You see, people call him TheoDog for having been caught publicly peeing by the paparazzi.
Cringey plot but I really like this author so I gave it a try. However, all these characters have done is internal monologue and stare at each other. I'm sure there will be healing, sexual tension and all the good stuff at some point, but I won't be reading any of it.
This heartfelt story makes me smile like a disturbed clown. I have happy tingles and am hearing Australian voice overs...
Theo has been a very bad boy. He knows it. We know it. The entire world knows it (minus some random, not so random, individuals without cable). He needs a break. He needs something to bring him out on top. Enter Hadley.
This romcom will have you eating treats out of the authors hand. Its sweet, sexy and down right swoony. From the wildly entertaining inappropriate thoughts to the dog puns that will leave you smirking, Jamie Schlosser has you covered. Snark, innuendo, and and good old fashioned ridiculousness are just teases of what is to come.
If you read Untamable, then you know the kind of awesomeness that awaits you in Untrainable. If by some miracle you missed Untamable, you need to rectify that situation as soon as you finish this quirky delight.
Everything about this book is perfect. From the adorably perfect cover to the final page, everything is exactly what you would hope for. Apparently, old dogs can learn new tricks...
Jamie Schlosser had me at, "I WANT HADLEY HOLIDAY." I'm not even kidding. That's the very first sentence in this amazing story and she hooked me good.
I simply could not get enough of Theodore Legend and Hadley Holiday. He's got a bad attitude and an even worse reputation. She's America's sweetheart. You would think they wouldn't work together, but they were the perfect match.
Theo is an absolute dream. Complete swoonworthy. I dare you to say the opposite! He just wants to be loved. Is that so bad? And he is obsessed with Hadley. He wants her BAD. And sweet Hadley, how I adore her. She had Theo's back no matter what. She refused to let anyone, even Theo himself, make him feel as if he was unworthy.
Reading this story was like being on my very own emotional roller coaster ride. One minute I was full-on belly laughing, the next I had to cool off because, damn it, Theo is freaking HOT! That's just a fact. And Jamie managed to do what I didn't think was going to be possible with this book, SHE MADE ME FREAKING CRY! I wasn't prepared for that. Nicely played, lady.
Again, I'm risking sounding like a broken record, but Jamie has completely, without a doubt, outdone herself with this gem of a book. Untrainable will definitely be featured on my Top Reads of 2018 list.
By the end of chapter one, Theo had stolen my heart. And I don’t want it back. By the end of chapter two, I wanted to be besties with Hadley and have sleepovers and braid each other’s hair. She is adorably quirky. And smart. And giving and loving. And knows what she wants and how she wants it.
Theo and Hadley are so friggin adorable and lovable and cute and sexy. I just wanted to keep reading ALL DAY. Sizzling chemistry from their first meet. He adored her, (okay, he was obsessed) and I could FEEL what he felt for her.
I loved the vulnerability of these two. The way they each looked out for each other, protected each other, and defended each other. They are both such good-hearted people. These two together were pure RomCom perfection.
And the story... So heart-warmingly good! It gave me warm fuzzies and I’m pretty sure I had a smile on my face the entire time. It’s one of those books that makes me want to scream out and tell everybody to read it! So I’m doing that now - READ THIS BOOK!
Untrainable is my first book by Jamie Schlosser and it definitely won’t be my last! The cover and blurb totally caught my eye and I’m happy to report Jamie is a new author on my must read list!!
Theodore Legend is the “bad boy” around town but little does everyone know exactly WHY he behaves the way he does. Looking for a way to refresh his image, Theo comes up with a last ditch effort and it all rests upon Hadley Holiday.
Hadley is a strong and determined woman who knows what she wants, and that is to be on television. She just doesn’t quite know how that is going to happen, until a brand new show about teaching an old dog new tricks presents itself to her...along with her gorgeous co-star, Theo. Their connection and chemistry is immediate but its all for show..or is it?
For one of the last books on my ARC list this year, Untrainable has made its way to #1 on my favorite list! I adore everything about this book. From the first chapter, I was completely smitten with Theo and when Hadley made her entrance into the story, I was captivated with their story! One minute I was in tears learning about Theo’s backstory and the next, I was laughing hysterically at the theatrics of Hadley’s family! Theo and Hadley’s story was refreshing and different, a heartwarming rom com that was a perfect way to round out 2018! I highly recommend this book!
4.5 Stars for Untrainable by Jamie Schlosser Theodor ( Theo-dog) Legend is used to all the necative attention his bad boy image normally gets but this time it’s different, a lot of alcohol and fire hydrant being in the wrong place at the wrong time has given him his new nickname of Theo-Dog ! The nickname is not his only problem Theo is broke he needs a hit reality show to take him back to the top so after seeing a show called The Final Showdown he has a brilliant idea why not take a dog trainer on air trying to train him...... Hadley Holiday appeared on a successful reality show The Final Showdown with her adorable border collie, she seems at home with dogs maybe she is the perfect candidate for the new reality show Theo wants to air.... This book has a unique storyline, the characters have plenty of witty banter going on and there is no doubting the sizzling chemistry that’s happening between them. As this book unfolds you get to know the real Theo, you get to see the caring side of him as he bares himself to Hadley. This book has the perfect mix of emotions, humour as well as some real sweet moments and I’m sure this book will appeal to all rom com lovers. Looking forward to more from this very talented author.
Omg! Untrainable had me laughing so hard all while I was swooning! Theo has a bad rep, reality tv star gone crazy. Hadley is a sweet and innocent girl who placed third in a reality tv talent show. Theo fell in love with her while watching her compete and just had to have the girl. Hadley is upset she didn't win and needs money and a job soon. Theo concocts a brilliant new reality show that has Hadley helping his rep. Now at first I thought Theo would be a bad boy asshole, oh boy was I wrong. He is the most sweet and devoted guy I've ever read! He wants Hadley more than anything but is willing to hold back his feelings so she doesn't get dragged into the dirt. Hadley is the most adorable and sweet chick ever! She has such a big heart and has so much room for the broken Theo. Theo's story is heartbreaking, but Hadley shows him how to heal and how it feels to truly be loved.
Jamie Schlosser made my heart melt and my stomach ache from the extreme sweetness and hilarity that just blended so seamlessly! Untrainable is an unputdownable read that will steal your heart!
This is a stand alone rom com about a dog trainer and misunderstood bad boy. .
Hadley is a 22 year old dog trainer who just happened to catch the eye of 24 year old bad boy Theo Legend. Theo comes from a wealthy family and let’s say he is the “black sheep” of the family. These two hit it off from the very beginning. I love the banter.
I laughed my butt off at this book. I even teared up a bit. This book was well rounded and damn good. I think what irked me a little is how hard Theo was trying. The poor guy. But the great thing is Hadley is one hell of a chick and she knew just what to do.
This is a great read. I know from reading ALL of this authors work that when she writes, there will be tears, laughs and love.
**I received this book as an ARC and in return gave my honest review**
Untrainable by Jamie Schlosser a five-star read that will make you purr. What a fun read, ‘Theo-Dog’ Legend was so much fun to read, he was such a surprise to read as his first impression wasn’t a good one, but that’s what made the story so good and honest. He needs the TV show to show everyone how he can behave with some good treats like a good boy should. Hadley Holiday is Americas sweetheart and with the help of her side kick Matilda she will be able to show the world you can teach an old dog new tricks and giving us a great story along the way. So long as the treats keep coming so will the good behaviour wont it? Buy the novel and find out, you won’t be disappointed Jamie Schlosser is a great author who brings us story’s that make you smile as well as blush.
Trying to articulate what I think of this book is almost impossible. How do I describe the emotional mess I am right now. My heart is SO FULL. Theo and Hadley are AMAZING characters. Both have a realness that kept me intrigued. What most would label as flaws were celebrated by Theo and Hadley. Ugh SO BEAUTIFUL! Yes you get the funny but plan to experience sadness as Theo personal story is revealed. I was so mad at the way he had been treated, I had to put my kindle down to collect myself. Hadley’s hilarious family added the levity I needed. Her parents were perfect. The backdrop of reality tv and the love of dogs make this story a BIG win for me. I want to discuss every element of this book because it is haunting me. EEK! I won’t because you need to experience this story on your own. This is definitely a Five Star read. Happy Reading!
This book was my first by this author and it was super fun to read. Theo is tryin to redeem himself and he wants to use Hadley and her dog training to do that. There are so many funny moments and it makes you forget that Theo messed up to start with. He is all about protecting people though his reputation is not so great. Hadley is the perfect person for him and he really works hard to change. This book is light hearted and flows quickly.
Page turning humor and romance that resonated. I loved every page in this original story, full of food and dogs and redemption and transformation. Cleverly Packed in to a hilarious story that kept me shushing all life around me, cause I couldn’t wait to see what happens next :)
I loved Theo’s tender ache for a real family. And how Hadley could spot his self-loathing from a mile away and loved out loud. She was so sweet but tenacious. And I can’t say enough about how much HUMOR and SWOONY steamy moments this story packed in. I started my reread as soon as I finished.
I’ll reading all her books. I’m a new fan, but she can write soooo well. Love her romantic brain.
Untrainable by Jamie Schlosser is a sweet and unique rom com story that will melt your heart. The characters are plenty loveable and their witty banter had me laughing out loud and the chemistry is just sizzling. This is the second book I have read from Jamie and I like her writing style which is easy to read and simplistic. She writes the perfect blend of humour and emotion and weaves it so beautifully and easily. There is more to Theo, than what the press portray. His hard and emotional past has left its mark and he is down on his luck. All he needs is a second chance and hopefully what he has planned will get him there. Hadley is being offered a chance of a lifetime but why her? Will she accept the offer and end up with much more than she bargained for? This book has a delight and I am looking forward to reading more from her.
