From the New York Times bestselling author of the Wind Dragons and Cursed Ravens MC series comes sinners, saints and secrets…

Dear Skylar,

Five years. That’s a long time to go without talking to somebody, especially someone who was such a huge part of your life…

A letter from my first kiss and my childhood everything…from prison.

He may be nicknamed Saint, but this sweet, sexy biker most definitely has a wild streak. Hearing from him draws me right back into the Knights of Fury motorcycle club—the people I’ll always think of as family.

He’s still the only man I’ve ever wanted.

Each good, old-fashioned letter from my “prison pen pal” has my heart racing. Which is nothing compared to how I feel when Saint surprises me in person, as a free man.

I was just a kid the last time we saw each other, but the connection between us now is anything but innocent.

He’s the type of man who would do anything to protect his woman. And with my world crashing down around me, that’s exactly what I’m going to need.

This book is approximately 67,000 words

Please note: This book is part of the Knights of Fury MC series but can be read as a stand-alone.

When will it end? It seems like a stupid question just like these type of books. But really, when?
Pathetic, loser of virgin Heroine waiting to be noticed by the manslut hero.? A childhood crush, pining after him even after seeing with OWs? And we can't forget how she desperately saved her v-card especially for him. Nice! What a romantic gesture.

I love biker books...and so I had to give this new MC series by Chantal a try. I am glad to say that I enjoyed it very much and I will definitely have my eye out for the second book.

Skylar is the youngest of 6 and also the only girl. She is also the only one from a different father, though her mother won't tell her who her real father is. That's okay though because she has an awesome stepfather. Hammer is the president of The Knights of Fury MC and a great father to Sky, and that's a good thing because her mother is pretty much the opposite of great...

you are a bitch gif - Google zoeken

Which she proves, when she takes Sky away from everything and everyone she has ever loved, when her relationship with Hammer does not work out.

Sky is devastated when she has to say goodbye to the only father she has ever known...and to Saint, the only guy she has ever loved. She has had a crush on Saint for as long as she can remember and even though she is 5 years younger than him...he never made her feel like she was unwanted or a burden. He didn't mind hanging with her.

After her mom took her away, she never heard from any of them though...It seems like they just forgot about her and didn't really care.

Now 5 years later, a letter from Saint is gonna show her that things aren't always as they seem...and her mom is a bigger bitch than she thought.

I really liked Saint and Sky together, they were pretty sweet and hot. That said...I could have done with a bit tougher and feistier heroine, but that is just my personal preference. Maybe the next book will give me my perfect heroine...you never know ;)

Saint is the start to Chantal Fernando's brand new series, Knights of Fury MC and already has me super excited for more. Ms. Fernando set up the series so well during the course of this book with all of the hints about what's to come for the other MC members. This author writes some of my favorite MC stories, and I already know that this series will quickly become a favorite as well.

Saint and Skylar had an adorable relationship. I really enjoyed getting to see them find each other again when they were both at a point in their lives that they could actually be together. The conflict in the story didn't take over the entire book and instead left plenty of room to focus on Saint and Skylar reconnecting. I loved that we got to see them grow so much as a couple, while also learning about them as individuals.

There was a mix of sweet moments, with some heart pounding ones that involved the whole MC. It was intriguing from the very beginning and I couldn't believe the direction that it took. It was honestly shocking to me, which isn't something I can say a lot about book, and I loved that about it. I'll be impatiently waiting for the next book now, I can't wait to see what's going to happen next but I know it's going to be brilliant.

Wow!! What a disappointment!
It's just bad.
For those who are a fan of the author and the genre will be very disappointed.

Thorn Benson, the love of my life, has a child with another woman. And he lied about it.

This isn’t a small deception. And then there is the other thing... He has a child. While he’s been my firsts for everything, my first kiss, my first lover, and one day I thought the father of my children, I was none of those to him.

This was a sad miss for me. Kudos on the hawt cover and the intriguing blurb for pulling me in though. Long story short, this MC romance wasn’t what I was expecting.

What I thought I was getting into:
An angsty forbidden romance with some badass MC brothers and a sassy go-getter heroine.

What I actually got:
A wishy-washy and super whiny heroine whose priorities change chapter to chapter and an MC that doesn’t leave much of an impression, tbh.

Quick Summary:
Skylar grew up in the MC but was ripped away from the only family she ever knew when her mother suddenly divorced her stepfather and moved them away and cutting all ties to their old life. Fast forward 6 years later and an old flame, Saint, writes to her from prison and reawakens questions that have haunted Sky for years bubbling back to the surface.

Realizing that she’s let her mother’s antagonism against the MC and her stepfather keep her away from those she cares about, Skylar moves back to her old stomping grounds to get answers about who her real father is, why her mother moved them so abruptly and why she’s been lied to about what really happened 6 years ago.

Told through a 1st person POV, the story follows Skylar immersing herself back into the MC life and finally getting a chance to reconnect with the only father she’s ever known and at the same time explore the chemistry between her and Saint.

Maybe it was the one sided storytelling that didn’t work for me or the very flat character that was Skylar but I never connected deeply with the story. The only time I was emotionally invested was the anger I felt towards Sky’s mom (who by the way basically gets away scot free!) and when we find out the truth about Sky’s father (which again was hugely downplayed in the book). Saint’s emotional range felt stunted and Sky’s love read more like infatuation than anything ever lasting. She desperately wanted to appear mature but was more childish than anything with her outbursts.

Memorable Moments:
Is anyone else upset that Skylar’s real dad got totally and completely screwed over. From all accounts he was a great dad and loved his daughter but apparently no one gives a flying heap because his death/murder gets swept under the rug and even Skylar (who was always whining about not knowing who her real dad was) basically shrugged when the big reveal was done. She doesn’t acknowledge him at all and instead just sings the praises of the other guy??? I know it’s all fictional but come one! Why give this poor bastard that kind of ending? It’s bad enough he had to deal with Sky’s horrid mother and dying before reunited with the kid she basically kidnapped, but then to have Skylar throw him over without a second thought was just cold.

Would I recommend? Read at your own risk. Personally not my type of MC romance. The story never was able to convince me these guys were a real threat in the MC world and Skylar’s singular POV didn’t help. She was so focused on herself that the other characters were left in the muffled background included the hyped about Saint.

4.5 Stars. Really enjoyed this book. Skylar is familiar with the MC lifestyle as she grew up around it. She develops a crush on the sexy Saint and the timing just isn’t right... until it is.

The plot was interesting with good development and characterization. The focus was on the development of the relationship instead of how it relates to the MC and I liked that. I found myself pleased to see that Skylar’s reactions weren’t just complacency, that she allowed herself to feel things like disappointment, anger, and pain towards loved ones. It made her more dynamic. Similarly, Saint wasn’t this perfect hero who didn’t make mistakes.

The pace and style of the author’s writing was executed well. I felt that there was consistency in the overall quality of the story. I am genuinely excited to read the next book.

Great start to a new MC series.

It's been five years since Skylar was ripped from the MC by her batsh!t crazy mom. She comes home and reconnects with her teenage crush, Saint. Lots of drama and hot sex, plus MC drama all mixed together to make a great book.

Skylar and Saint have always been attracted to each other. But she was sixteen years old. And Saint was 20 and a member of the Knights of Fury MC. Having that into account and that Sky is the stepdaughter of the president of the Knights, it was impossible for them to be together.
Because of her crazy mom, Skylar is forced to leave. But after five years thinking about the family she left behind, she comes back.
And she hasn't forgotten Saint.
This book is ok. I loved it in the beginning. And although the plot becomes weaker at some point, the final chapters are really good.

Saint was the first book in the Knights of Fury MC series by Chantal Fernando. I’ve read her Wind Dragons and Cursed Ravens MC series and I’m a big fan.

Sky O’Connor was the youngest of six siblings and the only daughter. She was raised in the Knights of Fury MC until she was sixteen when life as she knew it changed overnight. She was beautiful, feisty and independent and had a childhood crush on Saint, a man she hadn’t seen in five years.

Saint was a patched member of the MC and five years older than Sky. He was friends with Sky and like another protective older brother. After five years, once Sky was twenty one, Saint decided to write her a letter to reconnect, thus the story began.

Saint was told with a single POV, Sky. I liked the premise of the story. I also liked Fernando’s use of the letters as well as the past flashbacks. And I liked there wasn’t a lot of push and pull between the characters once they reunited. I also liked the multiple support stories within the main plot.

With that said, I was craving something more. I needed Saint’s POV. The plot seemed incomplete with too many missing details and Saint’s perspective could have filled in gaps, adding depth and dimension. It also wasn’t the typical MC story - which could be good - but in this case, the MC seemed to flounder versus the pack of confident alpha males protecting their turf that we usually see. And the multiple plots seemed incongruent at times, not to mention the numerous editing errors.

All in all, it was a quick read and Fernando set the stage for the new series well. It wasn’t my favorite of Fernando’s books, but it was still entertaining and I can’t wait to see where the series takes us next. My guess is Remy and the “hot neighbor” but regardless, I’m looking forward to it.

***4 Stars***

This was a really interesting and fun read. Things did get cray cray, it is an MC romance after all, but it all ended up making perfect sense and has me looking to get my hands on the next book in the series sooner rather than later.

I really liked both Saint and Skylar. Saint is a really good man. He’s loyal, honorable and really sweet. Sky is finding herself. Her life hasn’t been horrible, but it hasn’t been great either. She is sweet, sassy and I loved watching as she figured out just how strong she really was.

Their journey to the HEA was a lot of fun. The connection between them was apparent from the start and I loved seeing their bond grow and become stronger. Their bantering was a lot of fun and the swoon worthy and smexy moments were awesome. The drama, between them at least, was on the low end of the spectrum, where it wasn’t OTT, but just enough to keep things interesting and I loved how everything worked out for them.

I’ve had my ups and downs with a couple of this authors books in the past, so I had my toes crossed that this one would be land on the up side in the end, and it did. The writing was engaging, the pacing good and though I do wish we’d had Saint’s POV a little bit, I didn’t mind being in Sky’s head the entire time. And as for the secondary characters, I loved getting to know them all ~ Temper is the one I’m most fascinated with ~ but they were all well written and I loved getting to know almost all of them (One I definitely wanted to gut with a spoon.) and I’m looking forward to diving back into this world!

The premise of this story was decent, I mean, I love a biker romance. But then things just went OTT. It just wasn't executed well. It lacked fluidity and felt very... amateur. I also struggled big time with the writing style. I almost dnf'd several times, then just decided to skim through. But the dialogue is so unnatural for a biker romance. It was rough getting through this. I think the author's work is just not my cup of tea.

"Blood isn't everything—loyalty is."

I couldn't resist getting a taste of the first book in the new Knights of Fury MC series by Chantal Fernando. I think the first is always the hardest for an author because she has to lay the groundwork and introduce the characters for the first time. And I have to say she did a great job in that area. I already feel connected to the club family and my heartstrings were pulled past comfortable in the telling of this tale.

Skylar is a very likable character, she's sassy and sweet. But, that doesn't mean she doesn't have a broken heart. Raised like a club princess during her younger years, she has a close relationship with her biker family... until she doesn't.

It was exciting to read Saint's letters from prison as I anticipated their eventual reunion. I fell for him right along with Skylar as a young girl experiencing her first crush. But, he was older than her, so they could never be more than friends... then. Along with her, I wanted answers about the past. And, I wanted them to finally act on the feelings they had for each other.

Did I mention that there is also a character that I hate so much I wished for a voodoo doll to torture? Just wait, you'll be joining me at my Kindle throwing party soon. Just make sure it's enclosed in a kiddie case to protect it so you can get to the end of the story, you won't want to miss that, trust me.

One of my favorite things about a Chantal Fernando book is the character relationships and witty banter. I'm already feeling attached to the club family and looking forward to spending more time with them. The line forms here...

I can never get enough of Chantal's MC books, and this new one just took me back to the Wind Dragon MC series.
I loved Sky and Saint's story😍

Sky grew up in the MC, until she turned 16 and her mother left Hammer the president of the club and her for all in tense and purposes the only father she knew. Heartbroken she wasn't just leaving behind the only father she knew, but also her teenage crush Saint.

Now she's 21 living with her best friend Max and working at a bar. She and her mother only tolerate each other and see each other once a week. Until she gets a letter from Saint. He's in prison and wanting to know how she is. Now she questions her life, where is she going why did they have to leave the only home she ever called family and how is Hammer and the club. She packs up and goes 'home'. But is ready to learn the actual truth about what happened in the past and why they left. And also reconnecting with the only man she has ever loved?

Saint and Sky's story is some parts just really sad and some parts I wish that she had seriously bitched slapped her mother, cause that women should not be called mother. Saint was sweet and caring but also protective and sexy. Loved the whole club dynamic and I can't wait to read the rest of the brothers story. But also thanks for making me shed a tear or two there lady😢 But definitely a awesome start to a new series ☺️❤️

I’m sorry... but this synopsis is kind of deceiving. I was expecting a (Little) forbidden kind of love story. And what I got was a hot mess of things getting thrown in.
This book was going so good! A solid 5 stars.... until I got to the part where I find out Skylar is a 21 year old virgin.

Huhhh...why?

And of course the VERY few guys she dated were never the one. (Because she was still pining away for Saint!)
Besides a few wondering hands on her body from one of those few guys.... she is the ultimate virgin! Not even touched down south!

Please!!!ughhhh I absolutely hate this in a book!

And of course... Saint wasn’t a virgin. He’s been with lots and lots of women.

Ok... I was still in this book. I wasn’t happy about the whole virgin thing. But I was still keeping an open mind. Then we get a bomb dropped about Skylar’s mom. It was out there. But I was still in.

But once Saint’s bomb dropped. I was out! I just was over it. At this point I felt everyone treated Skylar like a child still. Keeping things from her for her own good. Was just dumb. Skylar constantly getting upset and crying then just forgiving everything was aggravating.

He has a child. While he’s been my firsts for everything, my first kiss, my first lover, and one day I thought the father of my children, I was none of those to him. I wasn’t his first kiss, his first lover, and I didn’t give him his first child."
You saved nothing for me,” I whisper, feeling empty all of a sudden.

I did feel Saint’s secret was too much for me. Having a kid from someone else just didn’t work. I was over it. Skylar was this barley touched person. I wanted her to have something. I was feeling them as a whole couple. But I just couldn't get past it. Then she sleeps with him like the next day! There goes her V-card!

Nope... I wasn't feeling it.

Maybe if he had said something earlier. Before things got serious. Maybe during his time in prison when he was writing her letters. But no... nothing was said at all. Which was wrong.

I didn’t like what happened to Hammer. It didn’t feel right. I felt his ending should’ve been different. Skylar's mom got away with everything. Which was dumb.

The forbiddeness in this book was a single kiss at 16 (Saint was 21.). It was just a quick kiss (no tongue!). Because she was being ripped away from the only family she’s ever known. And Saint knew he wasn’t going to see her again. That’s it! Then nothing for 5 years.

The prison letters were not what I was expecting. I thought it was going to be a bigger thing. But they were small letters and very few. It was a let down. It didn’t even last long.
I thought it would’ve been a bigger focus because of the synopsis. But... nope. It wasn’t.

And of course... it seems like all of Chantal Fernando book’s now have a little mention or crossover from her other series. Hunter from Conflict of Interest series is the lawyer who is helping Saint with his baby mama drama.
I honestly don’t know why there needs to be any mention of other series in all her books now.

I absolutely loved the Wind Dragon series in the beginning. Books 5 on down.... I started to struggle with them. Then I took a chance on her Conflict of Interest series. I loved the first book. After that... The rest of the series was up and down.
The crossovers for me was the killer of that series. It just didn’t work. Now this! A completely new series and here we are... I hope there’s no crossover with the Wind Dragon in this new series.

I’m sad to say this. I was stepping back from this author’s work. But Saint sucked me in. Unfortunately.... I’m definitely not going to continue with anymore of her books. This book was out of control. It literally had everything I hate in books. And I just don’t want to continue giving her bad reviews. So I’m stepping back.

“If jealousy is that burn in your chest and that feeling of dread in your stomach, then yeah, I’ve got that.”

“Happiness is the wind in my hair and a road trip leading to a fresh start.”

“This is where I’ve always meant to be, this is fate, and this man is my soul mate.”

From the moment I laid eyes on this book, I just knew I had to read it. I mean, not only was the cover fantastic, but the synopsis drew me in. I haven’t read a biker book for a while, so I was more than ready to check this book out.

Saint follows the story of Saint and Skylar. Skylar has had a crush on Saint for as long as she can remember. The only problem was that she was five years younger. So, as much as she felt the pull, she and Saint could never be. Skylar thought she’d always live the MC life, that is until her mom took her away. It will be five years before Skylar is reunited with not only Saint, by her Knights of Fury family. The chemistry between Skylar and Saint burns hotter than ever and now that Skylar is an adult, all bets are off. Saint is everything that Skylar has always wanted and there is nothing Saint wouldn’t do to protect those he loves. And when Skylar is found in a dangerous situation, she can only hope that Saint will rescue her before it’s too late….

Overall, I found this story to be a really enjoyable read. I liked Skylar. She was loyal to her MC family and has been doing the best she could without them. She’s sassy, and super smart. She loves big and loves hard. And then we’ve got Saint. Saint is far from perfect, but is as loyal as they come. There isn’t anything he wouldn’t do to protect the ones he loves and Skylar. He’s fierce and protective, but has a lot of secrets he’s keeping close to his chest. Together these two were a smokin match. I loved their chemistry and their banter. I loved the moments where Saint was oh, so sweet, and then the next he was a total alpha male. Now, I will be honest with you, Skylar did get on my nerves sometimes. She jumped to a lot of conclusions and let her inexperience and immaturity show. Those moments really frustrated me, but I was able to look past it and just enjoy the ride.

Saint kicks off this new series to a really good start. I thought the characters were great and their story certainly sucked you in. I loved the suspense and danger, as well as the steaminess and romance. I loved the twists that kept me on edge and wondering what was going to be thrown at us next. Even though I did have some issues with this book, I think this series has a ton of really good potential and I look forward to checking out the next book in this series.

Chantal has a brand new biker series and I'm so happy. This is an author who blends the drama of the MC with the emotions of a love story perfectly . As this is the first book in the series the author takes time to introduce us to all the guys in the MC so we get a good sense of who they are and the club dynamics.

I have to say Saint was everything in this story. He's the full package, protective, supportive and loving but still a total bad ass. Skylar is a sweet young woman brought up with the MC but ripped away from them by a character i thoroughly disliked. Skylar Is what I would call a battle no matter what life throws at her she makes the best of it. She's been independent for so long that accepting help from others isn't easy. I really admired her when she was trying to retain her sense of self.

Told mainly in Skylar's POV I would have liked to hear more from Saint but I'm sure as the series progresses we'll hear more from him.

First loves are the hardest to forget and let go. This new spin off series from Ms. Fernando can be read as a standalone. It is better reading the other series for some of the nuances between the different motorcycle clubs. Warning, this one is a bit more heart wrenching than some of the other books Ms. Fernando has written.

Skylar is a sweet kid who is loved by her father "Hammer". He's the president of his motorcycle club. Skylar's young life is filled with fun as her playmates and sometimes babysitters are tough MC members. Once in a while, a young probbie may have to mind her. One would think Skylar's brothers would be involved more in her life. She is the youngest of 6. She also knows her brothers are half siblings when her mother had a different life. When things are still going well, all of a sudder her mother fights with Hammer and drags her away into the country and away from all things Motorcycle related. This becomes Skylar's hell on earth as everyone who showered her with love and she loved back are torn away from her.

Hitting her late teens and wishing to go off to college, Skylar is disappointed to learn her mother saved no money for her and instead of wishing her well, her mother kicks her out of the house. There is something fishy going on with Skylar's mother as each time her interaction is borderline hateful. It makes one wonder if Skylar is really her child. Skylar's paternity is unknown even if she called Hammer "father". Thinking of Hammer and how he abandoned her, Skylar decides to reconnect with her brothers and move back to the big city and maybe see Hammer. This starts the journey of cathartic epiphanies. The first one, that the motorcycle club never left her and in fact were waiting for her to become a legal adult to reconnect.

Of all the MC stories by Ms. Fernando, this is the most tragic to date. The amount of sacrifice for the love of a child of the heart is moving. Whilst Skylar may only experience horrid treatment at the hands of her mother… the same can not be said of all the men in her life. Men who stayed in the shadows to protect her. Men who have been kept away from her by a jealous old hag. My heart cries out for Skylar and how she's been misled and then cheated out of her time with loved ones. This pain and suffering makes the book more memorable for me. I loved Skyler and her attitude and her ability to keep trucking on. She may not have a solid foundation built on love for the majority of her life, but when her little bit during her development years made a difference. Every child deserves love and Skyler is an example of one who should have received it.

Skylar's story doesn't stop at find Hammer again. It is also with finding Saint, her childhood crush. Yes, this is a romance story and there are sexy interludes. For me, this subplot took a back seat to the cause of discontent between Skylar's mother and Skylar. The bad blood between Hammer's MC and another MC is all revealed and it is a doozy. As they say, there are 3 reason why people commit murder: sex, money and revenge. When the trifecta is hit, it becomes a slaughter. This warfare is bloody and takes some before their time and leaves others who should be brutally slain.

This motorcycle club romance is recommended to readers who like tear jerkers themes.

2 1/2 stars, I had a real hard time connecting with both the hero and heroine in this book. From the blurb on this book I was expecting more of a back and forth on the writing section(while he's in prison) so we could learn more about these two characters but that is a very fast and small section of this book. I enjoyed the beginning of this book where we see them growing up and her liking him but after that the book just fell flat.

I got frustrated with the heroine and how she handled her mom in this book, she knew her mom was not a good mom or even a good person who her whole life treated the heroine horribly but she kept being surprised when her mom treated her badly. I did really like the heroines dad in this book and really liked their interactions. My other issues was how everything so perfectly fit together. Don't get me wrong I want things to work together and have my perfect hea but for some reason how everything worked didn't feel like it fit correctly in this book(not sure if i'm making sense here). I wanted it to all work out but how it all magically did just didn't seem add to the story it almost seemed too good and didn't quite fit.

I just didn't connect with this book and usually I have loved this authors books. I see I"m not the majority here most seemed to have loved it it just wasn't for me.

It really pains me when I have to give a low rating to an author whose work I’d previously enjoyed, but this book just wasn’t the greatest. It started off average and I was getting into it but then it just got worse from there. Everything felt rushed, the wording was choppy and I couldn’t connect emotionally, mentally or even spiritually, no matter how hard I tried. I almost DNF but I did because I thought it would change. The heroine was so annoying as well. She was immature, at times selfish and never saw the bigger picture. This book had so much potential to be more and I didn’t get the feelings I normally get when it comes to MC romances. The men were seemingly less alpha and I felt like they were trying too hard.

I hate that I didn’t like this book but this won’t deter me from reading the authors other books.

There is nothing as great in this world as the moment you find out one of you're favorite authors is releasing a brand new MC series! Absolutely nothing greater!

When I first heard that Chantal Fernando was writing a new MC series, I was over the moon excited. There is something about the way this author writes and the details she gives that has me always coming back for more. I love the creative flow she gives, but I especially love her creative flow revolving around the MC world.

Saint is the first book in the Knights Of Fury series and is told from Skylar's point of view.
This novel tells a tale of a young woman who is desperately searching for truth about who she is and where she comes from.

At a young age, Skylar learned whatever she did and whoever she became would never be good enough for her mother. But there was always one man she could count on, her stepfather and the Knights of Fury club president and founder, Hammer.

Hammer was always the man in her corner, smoothing things over when her and her mother got into little spats, and making sure Skylar was taken care of. Until the night her mother decided to wreck havoc on her perfect MC world and left the MC world behind in a cloud of dust.

Years later, Skylar is barely living life, working menial jobs just to get by. Until an unexpected letter shows up in the mail. A letter from her teenage crush, Saint. A letter that is about to redirect her whole life and bring her back to the place she was always meant to be, with the Knights Of Fury.

My Thoughts:

I loved Saint and Skylar's story! I loved the premise of a young teenage girl crushing on a man and then reuniting years later to find that the man was crushing on her and still is. True love is in the works with this one! I'm usually not a fan of age gap romances, especially one where it includes a teenager and a twenty year old man. I find them to be very creepy if not told right. Saint and Skylar's story is far from the creepy with one simple reason, Saint hid his emotions. Throughout the beginning chapters, you can clearly see that Skylar has mad love for Saint but Saints attitude comes off as a best friends relationship rather than one of romance. I loved the way this story was told. It made me feel more for Saint and Skylar when they eventually reunited and grew into something more.

I really loved the father/daughter relationship between Skylar and Hammer. There's an unspoken kinship between the two that if spotted across the room you'd think they were blood. They were tight and the ending completely tore my heart apart. I felt all weepy and I may have shed a tear or two. I'm woman enough to admit it.

Now onto why I dropped a star, I felt a few key moments in this novel were rushed. I would have liked a little more explanation on Skylar's mother towards the ending. And maybe a few more kinship moments between Skylar and her brothers.

Overall, I really enjoyed this read. I'f you're looking for a friends to lovers read with a little suspense, I highly recommend you pick this one up! It's too good to be missed! Saint was the perfect story to start a brand new series. I'm now invested! I need my next fix!

I’m flittering between 2.5 and three stars for this one.

I’m a fan of MC books but this is a mild one. And actually while it’s a smaller club that isn’t super gritty and dark and that might have been better served being switched that’s not where my issue was.

Sky was my issue here. It reads like as an attempt to keep her feeling as young and “age gap” with saint as possible she was kept immature and childish in ways that made no sense. It just wasn’t believable given that this was a biker princess.

It read like this was actually a first attempt at an MC by this author and not a new read. But I know it isn’t so it was just upsetting. Still I wanna try my hand at the second book in the series and see how I feel then.

Thanks to Netgalley for the complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.

This story was a fast read and I loved Skylar and her family of boys that looked out for her. You could really feel the love they all felt for her.

If I have one critique, it's that they all immediately worked out their issues each time they had a fight. I might be more used to angsty young adult lit, but Sky's life seemed a little too perfect in this respect. And it started to be a little boring.

But the overall storyline was good.

I picked this one up because I saw book 2 about to be released. I love a good MC book and this one was a great introduction to the Knights of Fury.

Saint and Sky have a history but have been apart for some time now. they re-connect and as events unfold for Sky there becomes quite a bit of angst. In the long run their friendship first relationship is what saves the day. They truly get each other.

Lots of ups and downs. Some gritty MC action. And-seriously?? What is with Sky's mom???? Looking forward to reading more about this band of brothers.

I love Fernando's books but this one just didnt wow me. The storyline is intriguing and heartbreaking but it lacked something for me. I still recommend everyone to read it because it could be your next favorite

Nice MC book. Not too graphic or gritty. Nice romance. I loved "Hammer", the MC president. My father was a man like Hammer.

ARC Netgalley, thank you.

I am absolutely obsessed with all of Chantal Fernando's MC series and was so excited to jump on Saint. Saint and Sky were sweet and sexy. I loved how they reconnected and how devoted Saint and the rest of the Knight MC was to Sky.

While I loved how Sky and Saint reconnected I did wish that Sky was a tad but sassier. She always seemed quick to cry and be upset vs standing her own ground. All in all this was a fantastic start to a new series and I look forward to more.

I would like to thank Netgalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of this book for an honest review. 4 stars! ~Ratula

Chantal Fernando is a guaranteed MC Read for me - and this was no different.

I loved the two main characters - Skye & Saint. There was a genuine connection between them and their shared history made the romance that much sweeter. Plenty of obstacles get in their way but as they say - true love never runs smooth... Great supporting characters and plenty of action had me reading this one in one session.

Saint was a great MC character and I'm hoping the other guys in the charter get their stories told - Temper especially has me intrigued...

I received an ARC of this book.
