    A beautifully written second chance romance that will turn your emotions inside out. Holden and Prue were great characters with a great chemistry they both just needed to find their way back to each other.

    Prue thought her life was complete she had graduated high school, had a place a college but most of all she had the love of her life Holden.
    Until she didn't.
    Now four years later she's all alone and once again face to face to Holden.
    Holden enlisted in the Marines and has a lot of explaining to do, if he's to explaine to Prue why he left her without a second thought. He thought he was doing it for the best, so Prue could have the life she wanted but he's always regretted it.
    Can they work through everything that's happened and find their way back to each other before it's too late?

    A great story that had me from the get go. It's one I would highly recommend.

    This is the third book in the series and is my favorite so far. This was Prue and Holden's story and I have to warn you to grab the tissues because my heart just broke at times during this one. If you enjoy a good second chance romance then you really should give this a go I really enjoyed it and quickly found myself hooked. A super addition to the series

    I wish I could unread this book so I could enjoy it again for the first time. It was just so good. I really enjoyed it so much. I was hooked from the beginning and couldn't stop reading. It broke my heart in places but then put it back together again. I cant praise this story enough. Absolutely fantastic.

    Amazing read.3rd book in this series and I simply cannot get enough I really felt sorry for the main characters and I will admit certain bits of this book had in years in a good way though and one that was needed.i wont leave any spoilers here but in my honest opinion this book is absolute must read and I will definitely be reading more from you harlow

    This is the third book in this awesome series and is Holden and Prue’s story. These two were high school sweethearts, until life got in the way. This is another well written story which is emotional, and with twists and love. I was captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I cannot wait to read more from this gifted author.

    My connection with these characters is so strong that I felt like I was watching scenes from a movie play out in my head. If you love a good second chance romance for two characters who deserve to find love, and learn to live again you will love the message behind this book. These characters together were so beautiful. Passionate. Real. This book is exactly why I love reading and why reading is a beautiful escape for me. I could not read it fast enough, but savored every word at the same time.

    Goodness this read was so emotional and taxing! So much happened in this relatively short story. I felt like my heart couldn’t take any more if it were longer. Holden and Prue’s second chance romance story was tragedy and heartbreaking, but also fulfilling and joyous.

    I truly adored both main characters. They both brought something so special to the story and held their own through their individual chapters. Holden broke my heart. What a weight he had carried for years on his shoulders. And due to tragedy, was forced to shoulder even more.

    Prue wore her heart on her sleeve. She dove in head first with Holden and never looked back. I loved how forgiving and understanding she was, even when her heart was pushed to its limits.

    The supporting characters in this book were incredible! I absolutely loved the friendship that Prue had found in Alex. The support they provided for each other through the good times and the tough ones was so sweet. I loved Alex and Luke’s relationship and how it provided such a positive example for Prue and Holden to aspire to.

    Such an incredible ending for this duo. I absolutely loved how the author wrapped up the story!!!!!

    This book was absolutely phenomenal. I honestly cannot gush about it enough. Holden and Prue are high school sweethearts until one day Holden disappears without a trace. Years later he returns just before he’s deployed again, his heart still beating so deeply for Prue. I don’t want to give away spoilers but I LOVE how Layne brings them back together. How Prue’s heart softens and how Holden fights for her. And then of course there’s the twist you don’t see coming! My emotions are still all over the place from this book and I LOVE it!
