    Sara’s past just made me want to hug her the entire book. I never imagined her backstory would be so hardcore. My heart broke for her through most of the book. Reading the struggles and then you throw in Julian. A lot made sense when it came to him after getting background on him. Seeing what he went through; made who he is a lot easier to digest. These two people who suffered such harsh pasts coming together in such a strange and magnetic way was such an enjoyable read. I really did enjoy this book and look forward to seeing what is to come.

    I was very excited to read about Julian, I loved his grumpy, workaholic demeanor in the first book. I was a bit disappointed that he fell for someone so fast, I thought I would see more of a slow burn, especially given his personality.

    Lia was very annoying in this book. Now that she is with Lukas she kept trying to play love therapist and it was completely unnecessary. She kept forcing Sara to do things and ultimately became that “toxic” best friend I don’t like to read about in books.

    I’m still going to rate it three stars because I love Julian and his entire demeanor. I just wish that they had a little more push and pull between them. It’s kind of hard to believe that Julian is someone who falls into the insta-love category which is what this is.

    Then the climax of the story where the drama happens felt like it was forced. Julian sent Sara to London just for her to return and they both actually talk about their feelings and what happened. If they talked in the first place we would’ve avoided two unnecessary chapters.

    Unfortunately I’ll have to stop reading the series, but I recommend everyone still give it a chance. I just can’t read after the one book I anticipated ended up flopping for me. It was fast paced and just too unrealistic for someone like Julian.

    It was emotional. It was spicy. There was tension and drama. I really, really liked the depth of complexity between the two of them, and I really appreciated how they took a chance on being vulnerable with each other.

    It wasn't a perfect book, the end felt too rushed for me, and Julian made a very emotional choice about 70% in that I didn't agree with and think will come back to bite him. But the book kept me on my toes, and I really liked it.

Stella Rhys is a new to me author and while I was reading Bad Boss I was mad at myself for not know this talented and amazing writer was out there, and right under my nose basically. Shame on me but I have now fixed that glitch. This book had it all Hot Alpha Billionaire Bad Boys, angst, loyalty, steamy steamy scenes, mergers and acquisitions everything you would expect in a Billionaire Romance and so much more. Ladies when I said steamy I meant steamy enough to melt panties. The world created was descriptive and the characters were so amazing and true to life. Though it does not end on a cliffhanger it still leaves you wanting so much more of these amazing characters.

    Julian and Sara are two broken characters living life without actually living life until the one chance encounter that started out as a one night stand turned into so much more than either one expected. Their story is full of love, heartache and laugh out loud moments that is sure to capture your attention.

    If you are new to this author like I was take the plunge you won’t regret it.

    Ok so this pains me that it's only a 4 star rating for me because this book should of been a 5 if it wernt for some small issues I cant quite overlook. Stella writes some beautiful works of art and this one was great as well. Just not perfect like I feel it should of been. It was so close but I feel the end was a bit rushed. I still have questions about what happened with the bros and even about Lucie. I feel like I should of had more on those subjects but that wasnt the case so it's a 4 star read for me unfortunately. The storyline was great but I feel like I was left in the dark alittle so that kinda sucks. All in all though I'm in love with this author and her books so I cant wait to read more!

    What a spicey opening!! Yes we need a little background information on Sara and why she’s looking for a one night stand, but then it gets hot and heavy super fast with the stranger in the elevator… It is pretty funny that they get interrupted and her plans are ruined from humiliation. But is it fate that will bring these two strangers together again? Has to be since they have mutual friends, it’s surprising they haven’t met each other sooner.

    Now Julian needs Sara’s help with closing a deal. He needs to put aside his attraction to her and stay focused on his work. When Sara accepts the job and hears Julian’s ‘no fraternization policy’ she is determined to stay professional, but Julian is the one making it impossible. These two try to fight the chemistry for as long as they can, but of course things are going to heat to a boiling point. So they will just do what they want on the side and not get caught and continue to work together to close this major deal and everything will work out in the end right…??!!

    I love this office trope where the characters deny and avoid feelings until the tension is unbearable. There is a lot of baggage with both of these two in their pasts that are going to be hard speed bumps in their journey. Can they make it through and find each other on the other side? You gotta read the book to find out!

    I had a read a previous book in the series and I was intrigued by the characters of Sara and Julian. I loved the sample however the rest of the book did not live up to my expectations. I would rate this as ok. I'm not giving up on this author as I have now started another of her books and I am really enjoying it. Something about the characters in Bad Boss just didn't work for me.
