Until Valerie by Jessica Marin is part of the Happily Ever Alpha World. It’s definitely not required but if you have read Love at The Bluebird and met Aly Dawson, this book features Valerie, Aly’s older sister. I’ve been meaning to read this forever. I love the Happily Ever Alpha World. These books just do it for me. The heroes are always so full of OTT alpha awesomeness. And I just love it when the BOOM happens!
Valerie Dawson is an accountant for a large firm. She has been sent to Murfreesboro to the Broken Eagles Motorcycle Repair Shop to do an audit. It’s her first day there and she is being introduced to the two employees that help with their books. Her eyes instantly are drawn to one of them and she can’t look away. And when their hands touch, everything else fades away except her hand in his.
Rowan Pryor is an ex-Navy Seal. After his service, he followed some of his fellow Seals and went to work for the MC Repair Shop. Rowan had heard of the Boom. A few of his fellow brothers had experienced it. But never did he think it would hit him. Then he walked into that conference room to meet their auditor. One look and time stopped. Boom! That’s all it took.
“Rowan, this is crazy. I don’t understand what this even is.”
“Baby, this is the beginning of us.”
As Rowan and Valerie are just figuring out what their lives will be like now as a couple, it seems one person isn’t as happy with their newly found love. And when danger threatens Valerie, Rowan will do anything possible to keep her safe, even if he has to risk his own life to do so.
This was a sexy, sweet story. Rowan was swoony and amazing. This can be read as a complete stand alone. There is no reading order to the Happily Ever Alpha series. But if you enjoy it, I also highly recommend Love at the Bluebird and reading Aly’s story. I loved it.

Another great addition to the Boom! I loved Rowen and Valerie. For a novella, this felt like full length book. I like that we got a more developed background worked in with all that insta love, and possessive alpha that I enjoy so much.

When Valerie Dawsons job takes her to the Broken Eagles Motorcycle shop she's not prepared. Thinking this would be just another audit part of her job as CPA is far from the image she had in her mind. Thinking of older bikers, long beards what she gets is a workshop full of extremely sexy bikers. Ones who are not old. But it's only one who captures her attention. Rowan. The instant attraction is like nothing she's ever experienced. It leaves her feeling fluster and unsure. One thing she's never been. She's a levelheaded woman. With one goal in mind to make junior partner at the firm she works for.
When Wes calls Rowan and Kyle into his office to let them know their being audited by the IRS, Rowan takes it in his stride. Kyle though seems off. He tells both men they are to be available for any questions that may arise. Since both Rowan and Kyle do the books for the shop.
Rowan is not expecting Valerie. He thought someone older and male would be doing the audit. What he gets though in his BOOM. The moment they come into contact its instant. That connection and feeling that all his friends have been telling him about. Now he just needs to convince her.
Their romance takes them both by surprise. What neither thought they'd ever found they have in the most unlikely place. But not everyone is happy with this chain events. As the audit is coming to a close Valerie notices something that does not appear right. And it all leads right back to Rowan.
She never waivers in her belief in Rowan. Not once. Thats what I loved about this story. She never even considered him as the one doing the wrong thing. But when they find out who is behind it, it will leave them all shattered and in a life and death situation.
I enjoyed their story, the characters were engaging. You wanted to keep reading to see where this would lead. It flowed and the steam factor was hot. Jessica was a new author for me and one I will be following up on.
If you have read the Until books then your going to love Rowan and Valerie.

AHHH!!!! i enjoyed this one so much!!!! It was a good pace i didn't skim and i love both Val and Row!!! ❤❤❤ now i gotta ask does the sister or best friend have a story??
Val is a hard working woman who tries to please her asshole father who well wanted a Boy no matter what she does it isn't good enough heck he won't leave his company to her unless he picks out her future husband that be the boss not her what a fking asshole thank god she doesn't work for him but she sometimes still tries to please him (thank god she doesn't with the men he tries to set her way) her new client she vas to audit has her in a biker shop and as her sister says she feels the Shazam Aka the BOOM!!! When she meets Rowan who i love right off the bat he is a true Alpha and also the 2nd accountant to his friend Kyle we also get familiar faces WES AND COBI!! I LOVE COBI!!! The sexual flirty tension between Row and Val and the real talk about their families and the drama that pops off was on the nose but i still loved it!!! I'm alittle sad the ending was abit rushed :( i did wanna see Row meet her asshole of a father..

Nerdy girl and hot biker
This was a decent read about a nerdy accountant who meets a sexy biker. Both of these two have similar backgrounds where they have wealthy families and neither get along with their fathers. The book was a quick read, but really not enough to get a good handle on the character development.

Great addition
This author is a great addition to the Until world. I’ve not read her before and found this story to be insta-love and a bit of drama at its finest. Rowan and Valerie had instant chemistry. I look forward to more from this author.

This was a quick, sweet and sexy story. Rowan and Valerie both feel the Boom/Shazam the instant they meet. Valerie tries to resist but finds it futile. Rowan gives Valerie confidence in herself and with her new found confidence she is able to stand up to her father and better her life. These two were perfect for one another.

Completely safe. H is a former manwhore, he regrets his past and has been celibate for a while. h is not a virgin and has been celibate for a long time. A woman flirts with Rowan but he completely ignores it and his best friend Kyle causes some non romantic drama at the end. No abuse.

This little gem in the ARR Happily Ever Alpha World was fun even though it was blaringly obvious who the bad guy was. Rowan was hot, sexy and smart. Valerie was perfectly geektastic. I loved how the characters had some depth to them despite how short the book was. It's going in my favorites pile of this group of HEAW releases.

Rowan knows that Valerie is going to be his one. Now he needs to convince the woman who is quickly becoming his everything of that fact.
Very fun, liked this story quite a bit. I felt bad for Valerie with her family situation but she was an intriguing character. Checking out the other books by this author.

When I first learned about ARR making a collab with different authors to write parts oh her Until series, I was partly worried and partly curious as how this venture will go. So when I was presented an oppurtunity to snag an early copy for a review of one of the Until books created in ARR's Happy Ever Alpha, I grabbed the chance with no hesitation.
Turns out, the author, Jessica Marin did not disappoint.
It's my very first book from this author and I was impressed.
Until Valerie is about Rowan Pryor, Wes' employee in his bike shop and Valerie, an account who will do the auditing for Wes' company as IRS request.
Both main characters had an instant attraction on their first meeting. And what a cute and funny instant meeting it was! I was smiling so hard and giggling like a school girl while reading them.
Usually, I'm not a fan of insta-love stories but the story was well-written and the pacing and plot were both well-developed so everything just come together, making the whole story actually cute and fairytale-ish. But I think it fits because this story is for ARR's installment of her Until series in her Happy Ever Alpha so that's to be expected.
I enjoyed this book so much! It has been a quick read but one that I wouldn't mind reading again. It's also great to see the Until characters of ARR being present in this book and written in the eyes and voice of a different author.
That being said, now I want to binge-read the whole Until series again.

This is aBoom book, if you get your boom she's the one and no one can tell you any different.
Rowan and Valarie meet when she has to audit his work place, and the Boom only takes minutes.
Neither of them understands why this is happening but they know they've met their forever person.

Fun first read from a new to me author.
I really enjoyed this addition to the Until crossover series. Rowan is definitely a great BBF and Valerie was all kinds of cute in her slightly dorky, buttoned up way. Together their BOOM was sweet and their chemistry was fantastic. I will definitely be checking out more stories from this author.

Although Jessica Marin is a new to me author, the “Until” universe is not since I have been a fan since “Until November” first came out. Playing in someone else’s universe, and incorporating well known characters while introducing new ones can be a really intimidating task, but I thought that it was handled fairly well in “Until Valerie”. It helped that the story remained firmly focused on the two protagonists, Rowan and Valerie and kept the more well known Until characters somewhat in the periphery.
For being an ex-SEAL and part of an MC brotherhood, I found Rowan to be an all around GOOD guy; the kind you want as a friend, brother and partner. I was waiting for his familial background to play a part in the story, which it did, just not in the way that I was expecting (which is refreshing). Valerie was completely relatable (well, except for a sister and mom who fill my closet up with expensive clothing), and I found her to be likable and sweet. Not gonna lie, I wanted to grab her and have a stern talk with her about her father issues. In fact, that is one of my quibble with the book. What the heck was up with the family situation? Why did the family allow her to be treated like that? That was one of the plot threads left dangling that could have been explored to make the story more fleshed out and the even better that it left me wanting more. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but there was a vague sense of disappointment at some things that were glossed over at the end. I was left thinking “Wait, I want to know what happened!” Again, not necessarily a bad thing to be left wanting more
Overall, I enjoyed the story and characters and thought it was a great addition to the expanded “Until” universe.

I was pulled right into this super short story. The story has naughty fun, passion, and hot steamy love.

This is the first book that I've read by Jessica Marin and it won't be the last. There was laughter and sadness but most of all, this book brought the heat. The chemistry between Valerie and Rowan... Boom!! Now I have to go check out Amazon for other books by this author.

Rowan works for Wes, July's husband at what apparently is the Magic Mike motorcycle shop...yes please. Valerie is the all business auditor that is sent there to audit the garage. As soon as he sees her, and I am not exaggerating, poor guy starts choking, he was that smitten with her. As soon as they shake hands, he knows she's his Boom, the guys at the garage know too and tease him about it. She tries to fight it for about a hot second, but you just can't fight chemistry.
This was a safe read, no ow drama, a minor bit of om, but Rowan works that out. Some good story suspense. A shout out to her friend Emma, she cracks me up. I am so excited of this latest round of authors in Aurora Rose Reynold’s Happily Ever Alpha World. Jessica Marin is a new-to me author and Until Valerie was a wonderful read. Insta-love is a hit or miss for me and this one was definitely a hit. Valerie and Rowen’s story kept me captivated and I wanted to see their happily ever after. I’m a sucker for the dorky, slightly nerdy heroines that catches the eye of a sexy alpha. As soon as Rowen sees Valerie, he knew automatically that she was meant to be his. I absolutely adored the way Rowen was with Valerie, and that first kiss was definitely fun and definitely hot. There is a bit of suspense, so much sweetness, so much steamy chemistry and so much love. This was a fabulous book and looking forward to reading more from this author.

I could kick myself for not reading this super sweet and sexy novella earlier, because Until Valerie is without a doubt one of the best stories written in the Happily Ever Alpha World! The writing was beautiful and absolutely captivating. I loved how the characters and plot line perfectly fitted into the Until world from ARR and allowed me to re-connect with beloved characters like Wes, July and Z. Watching the Boom strike between nerdy Valerie (an auditor) and sexy Rowan (former Navy SEAL and mechanic at the Broken Eagles Motorcycle Repair Shop) was nothing short of amazing! The author did a great job in not only telling but also showing us the special connection and scorching chemistry between them. Do yourself a favor and pick up this fantastic story! You won't regret it. 5 stars!

This is hands down one of my favorite Happily Ever Alpha World novellas! Bravo Jessica Marin for writing such a sweet and swoon-worthy story. I've adored sexy biker Rowan who works for Wes (July Mayson's husband) and the kind-hearted but tough CPA Valerie who is assigned to audit the Broken Eagles Motorcycle Repair Shop. One says you shouldn't mix work with pleasure but that's impossible when the famous Boom strikes and makes you fall head over heals for your soul mate. The chemistry between Rowan and Valerie was palpable on every single page. This book truly had all the ingredients I'm looking for in an insta-love story. My romantic heart was so full after finishing it and revisiting my beloved Until characters. I'm giving this well written gem 5 stars!

I just stumbled into the Until series and now I’m hooked. I loved the story of Rowan, who work for Wes at his motorcycle shop and Valerie. Although a quick read it had all the elements I love in a book...chemistry, alpha male, and a bit of a mystery. My first book by this author but not my last.

Until Valerie is my first book by Jessica Marin, and it was the perfect introduction. A sweet and sexy Boom with cameos from some of our favorite characters in the book world is hard to pass up.

I was nervous to start Rowan and Valerie's book partly because I'd never read Jessica before, and partly because novellas always make me nervous. I really worried for nothing. It didn't take but maybe a paragraph before I was drawn into the story. Valerie was loving, loyal, and very down to Earth, but she was also vulnerable. Her acrimonious relationship with her father put pressure on her everyday life to always be better, but inevitably leaving her feeling inadequate. Rowan was protective, possessive, hardworking, and smart. He had a similar family history to Valerie, but going through war and finding his brothers of the cut taught him what was important in life and to move beyond what others expected of him. That Valerie and Rowan had similar backgrounds made their romance that much sweeter. It tied them together on a deeper level, and I adored the way their Boom happened when they met. Instant and jolting, even to the reader. While neither expected to find their forever, they also couldn't deny the connection and intense chemistry between them. That chemistry worked for them in a big way, and we got some steamy goodness out of it, too. In the end, this was a quick read set in a world we’ve come to love. Despite everything happening quickly, I didn't feel the story was rushed or missing any major components. I enjoyed getting to know new characters while also catching up with some of our favorite Until world characters like Wes, July, and Cobi. I was intrigued by Valerie's sister and wouldn't mind a story for her whirlwind romance. I also really liked Emma and thought she'd make a good heroine, as well. I have to admit that I did guess what was happening pretty easily, but I still enjoyed getting to see how Rowan and Valerie reacted. I also liked the hint of suspense and danger. My only complaint would be that I really wanted to see Valerie's father get his comeuppance. After the negative feelings he created in Valerie, I wanted that moment when he realizes just how he screwed up with his own blood. Otherwise, I really enjoyed being in the midst of the Broken Eagles Motorcycle Club, the romance in particular, and I'm looking forward to checking out Jessica's other books. ♡

I am an immense fan of UNTIL SERIES by Aurora Rose Reynolds, although I need to catch up on a few books. I’m so glad we get to read the interconnecting stories in Happily Ever Alpha world. I enjoyed every single minute of this story and never wanted it to end. It was well developed, well written and thought out even though it was a quick and short read. It didn’t lack anything and it was fast paced. It was sweet, steamy with a dash of suspense. The characters are amazing and so likeable, loveable and endearing. They have depth, they are complex and perfectly imperfect.
Rowan is an ex NAVY SEAL. He is now member of Broken Eagles Motorcycle Club. I love his relationship with his brother and mother and the way he believes he is enough and amazing just the way he is after the way he’s father was treating him. He is loving, caring, charming, down to earth and loyal.
Valerie is Certified Public Accountant – CPA. She is assigned to audit the shop. She had a difficult childhood: she grew up believing she is never enough and always trying to seek her father’s approval. She is loving, caring, loyal, down to earth and vulnerable.
Rowan and Valerie are amazing. I love that they have similar childhood and backgrounds. In my eyes that make them even more special. I love the way they experienced the “boom” when they met. They are both flawed and complex. Neither of them at the beginning is looking for a relationship, but also can’t deny the strong connection they feel and the chemistry. They are passionate, honest and intense. Rowan didn’t give up on Valerie. I love the way he sees her, cherishes her and their easy going manner and banter. I loved the epilogue. It was so sweet and such an amazing ending to this incredible story.
One word: INCREDIBLE! Even though it’s part of UNTIL series, it can be read as a standalone. You’re going to love Valerie and Rowan. I highly recommend it.

Jessica Marin bought the BOOM and a whole lot more, in this fantastic novella.
When I heard there was going to be another round of Aurora Rose Reynolds Happily Ever Alpha crossover novellas, I was thrilled. 2018’s series introduced me to so many new authors, as well as a stronger love for familiar authors that took part, and I couldn’t wait to see what 2019 was going to bring.
I’ve read and loved Jessica’s previous books and this story didn’t disappoint. Set in ARR’s Until world, Rowan Pryor has left his past as a Navy Seal behind to join his brothers working is Wes Silvers, Broken Eagles Motorcycle Repair shop. One day, in walks Valerie Dawson, come to audit the shop, she has to work closely with Wes and Rowan and from the second he lays eyes on her, Rowan knows the BOOM is real.
It’s lust at first sight for these two, but Valerie tries not to give in to her desire for Rowan, keeping her distance as much as she can. Unfortunately for Valerie, a Rowan doesn’t want her out of his sight, and does everything he can to get her to give in. When they finally begin their happily ever after, forces beyond their control start to meddle in their lives, trying to keep the two apart, but neither will let that happen. When the BOOM hits, no one can tear it apart.
I loved these characters, I loved the surprise storyline and I loved how seamlessly this fitted into the Until world, blending the characters together. A fantastic job Jessica, this is a story I will happily read over and over. I highly recommend everyone read this.

I am a HUGE fan of the UNTIL SERIES books! This one was perfect, short but packed with so much that you don't feel like you missed anything!

I found so many new authors to love through the Happily Ever Alpha World, and this is one of them. This is a totally new to me author, and if this story is an indication, I'm going to be digging through her previously published books! I totally enjoyed this story, since it had everything I love about MC romance. There were tough, hot bikers, a strong woman that is still a little vulnerable, and a mystery to be solved!
Valerie is a strong woman, but she has never been quite enough for her father. He wanted a son to take over the family business, and she just....isn't. She has spent her entire life trying to live up to his expectations, and has never measured up. She decides to move on with her life, be happy with who she is, and live the way she wants to. Her job takes her to a motorcycle repair shop, where she spots Rowan, a former Navy Seal, who is more than he seems! He takes one look at Valerie, and understands what all the fuss is about! He is determined to make her his, no matter what stands in their way!

Rowan was over the bar scene when this sexy, quiet auditor named Valerie rolls into the shop he does the books for. The instant chemistry was amazing to read. Rowan knew what he wanted, and Valerie was helpless to stop the buzz or the BOOM from happening.
The story wasn’t lacking in any capacity. We had major heat, conflict, and a great backstory for each character wrapped up nice and tight.
I look forward to reading more from this cast of characters in the future.
