    If you’re like me, book 1 of this series (Power Play) completely hooked you and you jumped straight into this one to find out how this was all going to play out for Trey and Randi..! Talk about upping the ante!

    It flows straight from book 1 when you found that Randi simultaneously got everything she wanted and dreaded all at once.... well.... career goals wise I suppose. Not so much in relation to the moody sexy as sin bodyguard that she can’t keep her hands off (no blaming her for that). Might want to take your eyes off him though Randi - because you won a first class ticket to the snake pit that is politics!

    The plot in this book becomes deeper and twistier as Randi tries to navigate the new reality of being VP in a world where the good of the people is so far down the list of priorities for some that it barely rates a mention. She finds herself locked in mental and emotional battles and needs to rely on the trust she has developed with her protection team in regard to more than just her physical safety and sanity! And Trey.... damn Trey.... 🔥🔥 so hot, loyal and dependable!

    The action is intense, the drama and twists intriguing, the secret trysts and love affair scorching.... bring on the next one in this series ... can’t wait to see what happens!

    This series just keeps getting better and better! I was again mesmerized from the first page and couldn't stop turning the pages. There's nothing I don't love about Trey and Randi's story. I loved the banter, it's fast paced, action packed, exciting, and filled with suspense, betrayal, lies and secrets. You will wonder who you can trust and keep you guessing on what will happen next. Such a powerful story and I definitely wasn't ready for it to end. I'm anxiously awaiting the next book.
