The ‘Less Than’ series starts off with an emotionally gripping, sweetheart of a romance that readers can really sink their teeth and their hearts into. The characters are strong, vivid and really stand out to readers, grabbing them by their hearts and refusing to let go. The relationship between Devin and Erin starts off on a sour note as Erin makes such a devastating discovery and while Devin’s plays the white knight, he know it can’t possible go anywhere. This ‘real’ romance hits readers right in the gut and ensures that they want to feel every emotional twist and turn that happens as Erin and Devin strive to reach a happily ever after.     A great start to a whole new spin off series to the Montgomery Ink by Carrie Ann Ryan. It is wonderfully emotional and everything that you would except from this author. Carrie is never one to disappoint when it comes to her books and characters, with each new character that she writes and introduces to us we get a new family with new books to enjoy.

    There are some sad, happy and fun times with Devin and Erin and their families. The banter between the Carr siblings was so enjoyable to read, it had me giggling. While this is about new characters it was great to see how some of the past characters are doing. This book is about picking up the pieces of your life after it all comes crashing down.

    At her High School reunion, Erin Taborn finds her husband in the bathroom in a compromising position with the former cheerleader. Erin and her husband (or should I say Ex) have been together forever and it just about destroys her to find him like this. She thought her life and marriage was perfect. After the ‘incident’ Erin throws herself into her work and swears off all men and relationships. But what she never planned on was Devin.

    Devin Carr, an ex of Erin's sister, helps Erin the night of the reunion, when he sees her drunk and sad. Erin is hard headed and only offers a ‘friends with benefits’ relationship with Devin. Devin wants more but will will take what he can get with her and hopes her feelings change, cause he isn’t willing to loose her.

    This book had me guessing all the way to the end and I kept thinking that Devin and Erin would not get their HEA, but Carrie proved me wrong. A excellent start to a new set of siblings and I can’t wait to see what is next for the Carr family.

Can Erin learn to trust again and keep to the plan of friends with benefits or will she fail? Can Devin convince Erin that friends with benefits is a small stepping stone to love or will her fears tear them apart? I love how Carrie Ann Ryan can just pull you into her stories and have you, the reader, cheer, cry and fall in love with her characters. Very much looking forward to the next in this wonderful new series.

    Breathless With Her is a beautiful story that is all about protecting your heart but at what cost. Devin and Erin are two people that agree to boundaries to ensure Erin won’t run. Erin is tired of being hurt by the men in her life that were supposed to love and cherish her, so now she will erect those walls to protect her heart and soul from totally shattering. A story that will at times leave you breathless, have you wanting to fight for this couple and wanting to make sure that they get their cake and eat it too. Devin will claim your heart and at times Erin will frustrate you beyond belief. An emotional and breathtaking romance that will leave you with a huge smile on your face.

    Book 1 in a new series from this established author & once again, it's fantastic. Devin happens to be at the right place at the right time when Erin needs help. Fast forward a few months & once again their paths cross & this time things progress. I loved this couple. They were funny & sexy & loving. One thing that I've noticed in books by this author is that most characters just have an everyday, ordinary job because they're just everyday, ordinary people. The type of people I can honestly imagine coming across in real life. I love that about these books. They're easily relatable but still fun.

    Just love every book that Carrie Ann writes and this one is no different.
    Devin loved his life until Erin walked in the bar in her red sequinned dress.
    Erin thought she had married the love of her life until she caught him cheating on her.
    Devin and Erin have their trust issues.
    Highly recommend this book and any other book by this fantastic author.

    I always marvel at the imagination of Carrie Ann Ryan books as each one is so unique. Breathless with Her is as unique as the rest of her books.

    Meet Erin and Devin - Erin who finds her childhood sweetheart only lover and husband - having sex with the ex high school cheerleader at the 10 year reunion not only that he was sniffing drugs of her boobs! Hurt and confused Erin runs to the nearest bar where she bumps into Devin - her older sisters ex boyfriend from way back. Devin looks after Erin when she want's nothing more than to get drunk. He takes her home sleeps on the couch and the next morning she leaves.

    First forward 6 months and Erin is now divorced from the main who had fallen out of love with her and resented her mostly because she owned her own successful cake business and he was sill trying to make his first big house sell! now solely focused on her business she isn't interested in a man and just wants to find herself for herself. But fate had other ideas in walks Devin to pick up a cake and the two start to see each other - but other things are going on in Erins live as she decides much to her big sisters dismay to try and find their father who walked out on them when they were small.

    When Erin final tracks her dad down it goes just as her sister warned now feeling that she is relying on Devin and wanted him more than she thought she deicides to end it - heartbroken by her decision Erin thrown herself more into her work - but when Devin is seriously hurt in a car accident will she be in time to tell him she has made a big mistake!

    I have many books by Carrie Ann Ryan, all of them great and this is no exception. Changes are in the wind for Erin, a baker, after her class reunion. She meets a friend from the past. This is about new beginnings, of fear and relationships, of friendship and more. It is a standalone romance, steamy but with a great storyline. Best of all, family are a source of frustration and joy and support. You will meet many beloved characters who can be found in upcoming books and in some of her other series. This is my second read of this book and it was very good (as are her other books). Bravo!!

    I have to admit when I first read the synopsys of this book I was like well OK a letter carrier as the hero Hot Damn! I am a letter carrier so I thought I'd be able to relate. So I actually loved the story. As always with Ms.Ryan's book I laugh, I cry ,I relate, I swoon, all the good stuff. This story was no different. I loved Erin amd Devin together! Devin waa great and definitely sexy! I like the realness of the characters for sure. My issues with the book are my inside knowledge of the job itself and there were several inconsistencies about the job that really bugged me. Example USPS gets no tax payer money. The agency relies solely on stamps amd services. So a scene where the letter carrier Devin says he knows taxes pay his salary ia not accurate. However it doesn't change the story itself, the quality of the writing and how easy it is to connect and love the characters! I can't wait for the rest of the books in this series! Carrie An. Ryan books are always some of my favorites! Enjoy!

    Not the best by this author. Erin is completely thrown when she finds her husband with the cheerleader. Devin gets her home safely while she is drunk. Fast forward and she is divorced and available. Devin is interested and makes his move. Erin is finding her feet and not ready for a nee relationship but they agree to be friends with benefits. A side story of looking for her absent father and Erin turns away from the best thing she had. Just wish she'd had more backbone with her scummy ex husband.

    Erin was so easy to relate to! Devin was such a nice guy! Devin didn't want to be Erin's rebound guy and Erin kept saying she wasn't looking for a relationship. Erin tried to do things on her own and didn't want to ask for help, but when disaster strikes her friends help her and won't take no for an answer. Erin was dealing with rejection so she decided to push Devin away to keep from hurting both of them. Things don't go as Erin planned. This book was really good and I had a hard time putting it down. There were some really funny parts and some very emotional parts! I am looking forward to reading more by Carrie Ann Ryan! She is one of my favorite authors!
