    Dean Donahue is a client who is rich and has some unusual demands in the bedroom department. Belle is the escort whom he has chosen to be with him on his tropical island for two months, mostly all alone to do as he pleases, within the agreed rules of course. In this situation you get to see them as two entirely different people; he's confident and knows exactly what he wants, while Belle is not as confident as she makes out, she's nervous and doesn't know what she is getting herself into. She is a novice to all the dom/sub relationships but is intrigued to find out more about this lifestyle.

    I enjoyed reading and getting to know each of these characters a little more, watching them develop and getting to know the ins and outs of their characters. As the story is told in a duel POV, I got to read what they were feeling and experiencing but, for me, the characters lacked that spark of chemistry you really need to pull a dom/sub story off. Overall it needed to be more intense, more passionate, Dean wasn't quite the normal dom that I'm used to reading about, he was much more passive than expected him to be. Belle was a little too complacent at times but I did enjoy when her mischievous side appeared.

    If you enjoy a little bit of kink and sweet romance then this book is for you, I'm looking forward to Belle: Part two to find out just where these characters end up.

    A wealthy man, a highly paid escort, and a straightforward contract with everything laid out in black and white. Should be simple enough, right? Except the lines get blurred, the rules get broken, and hearts aren't bound by contracts. The story is loosely reminiscent of Beauty and the Beast, including the forbidden area of the house, and broken down, it really isn't anything new - arranged Dom/Sub relationship, a bit of kink, reward and punishment, limits tested. It's all been done, but when you combine that with Meldon's draw you in and hang on tight writing style and characters that feel so real they practically leap off the page, it all somehow feels new. Belle and Dean's relationship may start out as an arrangement with strict BDSM guidelines, but as expected, it begins to develop into something more. This one takes us through those emotions, bit by bit, and makes us feel thngs - the anxiety, trepidation, trust formed and broken, the hurt, and the hope. It's all there, and this is just the beginning of their story. The ending is more open-ended than cliffhanger, but it certainly has this reader tapping her foot in anticipation for what comes next.

    Every since I saw the author's Pinterest board for Belle and what it would be about I was super excited. Sometimes a book just grabs your attention and you know, you KNOW it's going to be amazing. That's Belle. Belle is now my favourite Liz Meldon book!! I give it ten stars!! 

    Belle has been working at Elysium as (mostly) a foot fetish girl but that's about to change. Dean wants her as his submissive all to himself. Two months just the two of them on his private island. The weather is not the only thing that's about to be hot. 

    First of all, I LOVED that they were meeting for coffee, just getting comfortable with each other for six month before their trip to his private island. It made it a little more realistic because let's be honest fiction is great and all but sometimes a realistic bit just makes the story. 

    And the D/s part was HOT. It's one of the best D/s books I've ever read. It was amazing. 

    Dean was such a good Dom. He took his time to learn everything about Belle's body once they were finally intimate, he was patient with her and just in general a good man. I loved him very much. 

    "Good Dominants could inject a little terror into their sessions, but at no point should Belle feel unsafe. I couldn't allow that. Not for a second."

    To Belle this was completely different from the things she did at Elysium but she welcomed the challenge and was so genuine and sweet. 

    Now, I think that books about sex workers can easily go horribly wrong so I am very critical when it comes to them as well as BDSM books. But this one was written so well (and I try to always remember that it's fiction and not real life). The thought process when it came to Belle and Dean's relationship was so good and very much needed. Because of it you were able to understand their decisions very easily and it made the characters even more lovable for me.
    I can't wait for part 2!!!!!!!!

    It has been awhile since I've read a Dom/Sub relationship I liked. This story unfolded naturally. It wasn't complicated or overly dramatic. Belle and Dean were a couple were a nice couple. You had Dean finishing himself once again in the arms of his submissive and Belle trying to not cross the lines of professional escort. It was amazing to see Belle let go and give over her body, soul, as well as her heart to her dominant.
