I was too young to know what love was, but when I first saw Shiloh I knew she’d be in my life forever. I knew I couldn’t give her up. She’d been the little girl wearing pigtails who’d just moved in next door. And as the years passed and we became the best of friends, how I felt for her changed. I fell in love with her. I should have been man enough to admit my feelings, to tell her that I wanted her as mine, but time ran out. She was leaving me, and the very thought of not having Shiloh in my life was akin to my heart being ripped from my chest. Possessive and protective. Those two things ran deep within me where she was concerned. Without her, I was only half a man. Be with the girl I loved or stay back and help run the family business? Those two decisions weighed heavily on me. But telling her I loved her could have Shiloh distancing herself even more. It could ruin everything we had. My decision would end up hurting someone in the end. That was a risk I had to take. That was the only way I’d know if we would get our happily ever after.
It was ok I guess. Both hero and heroine are virgins and each other's first and only love so that was sweet. Epilogue was nice. Heroine is pregnant and is starting her new job.
This was a very sweet friends to lovers story. They met as children and both loved the other and kept it inside. I will be honest and say I was so disappointed she went on the date. I thought for sure she would back out because she loved the hero, but she didn’t
-no cheating -friends to lovers -dual virgin -steam - one sex scene that lasted a bit of the book -safety - she went on a date ever though she loved the hero. Not completely safe -ok epilogue but would have loved a better look at what their future held
I knew I was just gonna love this one. Surprise surprise, Amy loves a story where the H/h meet as kids and lose their virginity to each other. No other choice for me but to love that shit right to the bone! -🎶dual virgins 🎶 -no cheating -no abuse -insta-love -no OM/OW drama at all -H is head over ass for the h -epilogue at 4 years out
Another fantastic dual virgin story from Ms. Snow. I just can't get enough of these.
This was a very sweet friend to lovers' story. They met as children, and both loved the other but kept it secret, fearing the worst. Even though the h loved the H as much as she did, she went on a date with another guy, she insisted it was as friends but of course the H was not happy...love declarations ensures... -no cheating -friends to lovers -dual V -steam - one scene that lasted a bit of the book - safety - she went on a date even though she loved the hero -ok epilogue, 4 years later but would have loved a better look at what their future held.
Kace and Shiloh have been best friends since they were kids and have both secretly harboured feelings for the other but been too scared to confess. This is a very quick read, coming in at around 60ish pages. It didn’t blow me away, but I also didn’t hate it. Both H and h are virgins and have been saving themselves for each other but I just found it all a bit too cringey at times.
Until I make you mine is a novella that is a part of the happily ever-alpha series. This story is short, fast paced and a nice read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline sweet. Until I make you mine is a friends to lover’s romance. Kace has been in love with Shiloh since he met her when she was ten and he was twelve. They stayed best friends for years but it wasn’t until Shiloh was getting ready to go to college that Kace decides to confess his love. He has held off years due to not wanting to ruin their friendship. When Kace decides to confess his feelings will Shiloh share the same feelings. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read.
This was a great little read with a whole lot of BOOM! I honestly love the Until series.

From that day on he could never see his life without her in it but has he left it too late to tell her how he feels as now teenagers she’s about to leave for college. Shiloh loves Kace but scared of losing their friendship has buried her feelings but she’s leaving for college and can’t go without seeing if he could love her back. Will he reject her or could all her dreams really come true?
Cute extremely safe story and a great addition to the kindle world.
Romance genre: friends to lovers Series: Happily Ever After World Length: 69 pages
Plot: Kace and Shiloh have loved each other since they were kids. But of course as friends, they never tell each other. Will Kace wait too long to tell the girl he loves that they should be together?
Commentary: Super light on plot. They love each other. They don't tell each other - wouldn't want to ruin the friendship. She goes on a date with someone else and he finally tells her. The end. It's sweet, slightly steamy, and over quickly. Quick read, no cheating, HEA.
°Virgin heroine °Virgin hero °Switching POVs °Friends to lovers °No OW drama °No cheating °Sweet hero °Both faithful after meeting °No separation °Intimate scenes only between hero and heroine °Epilogue: 4 years later
When Kace first met Shiloh he was only Twelve years old. But he knew even then that there was something about this girl. And as the years passed those feelings changed into love.
Shihlol felt the same way. When her family moved in next door to Jace these two became best friends. But as they got older her feelings started to change. But how do you tell your best friend that your in love with him?
A friends to lovers journey. Absolutely no drama, no cheating. Just a sweet romantic tale of finally realising that the one meant for you has been by your side your whole life.
Kace and Shiloh's story proves that sometimes your first love is destined to be your forever love. Their story is a sweet reminder of what it feels like to be young and in love with a love will conquer all mindset and the whole world ahead of you. This short story contribution to the 2019 Happily Ever Alpha World by Jenika Snow is a quick, easy read that is low on angst and high on passion. The connection to the original series characters from Aurora Rose Reynolds Until Series does not become clear until what amounts to the epilogue of story which for some readers may be a drawback as it was for me. However, once you read the entire story the connection becomes evident and ties the two series together nicely.
I’m giving this an extra star because the Hero was a virgin. Otherwise, this was just pages and pages of them having sex for the first time. There’s no actual story. Just 2 friends that are about to graduate high school and finally decide to tell the other they love them….So 2 chapters of buildup?
The dialogue was terrible. But props to the author for writing a virgin hero 👍
Another beautiful , sweet story by Jenika Snow. I love how this started when the characters were young and we got to follow them. Ms. Snow never disappoints me with her books. I try and get each one that comes out!! Do yourself a favor and pick this book up for a quick read!! I highly recommend it!
What can I say this book is off the charts! When you meet Kace and Shiloh you fall in love. People might think they're too young but when he saw her at 12 years old BOOM! this is a sweet tale of forever. Worth every word read.
Kace and Shiloh have been best friends since they were kids. Now Shiloh has just been accepted to college and moving away and Kace is supposed to follow in his fathers footsteps. However the feelings Kace have for Shiloh is anything but friendly, he loves her more then anything and is ready to take the next step if she is willing.
Short and sweet. I liked this bot would have liked for it to be longer to really get to know the characters.
This was one of the better short reads I've come across. There was a little more to this story than in other short reads, but I feel like too much time is spent dragging out some parts of the story (how many chapters were dedicated to Kace and Shiloh's first time together?); I feel like the story could have been advanced in other ways.
These short reads are not for me, in general, but this one was OK.
This was a quick sweet romance that might not have packed a huge boom but still had the ground shaking a little with the connection between Kace and Shiloh. A love story that will warm your heart and leave you with a huge smile on your face.
It's basically just one protracted scene if a couple of high school kids having sex for the first time. The characters have been in love with each other forever, so beyond confessing it to each other, there's literally no story or character development.
Once in a while I go for short and sweet.. and I like some of this author's works 'though a bit smutty and lacking in depth.. they're fun and refreshing.
This one, 'though I like the premise despite not original, I was kind of looking forward how it will go.. I like how the hero regards his best friend the heroine.. I like his POV though I find him a coward.. I like how he kind of makes a move out of jealousy.. and I thought that's the time he'll tell her.. I couldn't wait for him to tell the heroine how he feels.. how he'd do it.
Then the next pages ruined it for me.. call me prude or old school.. but oh my.. how I dislike in my fiction romances, if the girl does the chasing or the first move on a guy, no matter.. maybe my feminine ego or pride or self respect and preservation won't allow this.. I don't like in romance books where a heroine is easily giving in or drooling over a hero's sexiness.. I hate that.. well in my fiction romances.
I'm making it clear.. don't get me wrong.. I don't judge women in real life doing this kind of thing.. I'm just not into it.. I'd still want my heroes declaring their love, because they couldn't help it.. doing all they can to be with their women.. I hate cowardice and weakness especially in heroes.
If a guy despite liking you, ISN'T MAN ENOUGH OR IS COWARD ENOUGH to tell you how he feels, THEN HE DOESN'T REALLY DESERVE YOU.. well that's my take sorry.. how much more, this hero wasting years.. loving the heroine quite deeply.. and given the prospect of losing her, he's still taking his sweet time.. these should even be reasons enough to push him to man up and tell her.. loving her and losing her.. and not waste time.
So, I'm not big into young adult stories. These two are fresh out of high school where everything is so shiny and grown up, and you just can't wait to get life started and think you know everything. I didn't feel that way with these two. Childhood best friends who had always had feelings for each other but neither one wanted to risk losing the other that they kept it to themselves until it hurt so bad they couldn't not tell....
Shiloh got accepted to her dream school and was going to be heading to New York, and Kase already had his life planned out, taking over his father's construction business. But knowing that the girl he loved so much would be leaving soon, he had to tell her how he feels.
I kept wanting to shake both of them and tell them to spit it out already. There was a lot of repetitiveness that I could've done without. It was borderline too sweet, but I remember what that first love was like. When you wanted to sit and tell each other you love each other, 15 times every ten minutes. We've all been there. And Kase was just as possessive and overbearing as all the guys in the BOOM series', but he was young and sweet about it. That was cute and sappy and I dunno... it worked for me. 4 stars for me on sweetness alone with this one. I dug it.
Shiloh was a little girl wearing pigtails when Kace saw her for the first time and knew that she would be his forever. They became best friends, but it was only when they graduated from high school that Kace finally acknowledged that he loved his best friend.
The thought of Shiloh leaving for college in New York while he will be staying onto help in his family's business was not something that Kace could accept, but he was afraid to tell her his true feelings, not knowing that Shiloh loved him in return.
I love how Aurora Rose Reynolds always has the knack for choosing the authors that will contribute to her Happily Ever Alpha World and I am also doubly glad that she invited Jenika Snow to participate in the latest set of short stories.
As always, Jenika Snow delivered in the short and sweet style that she does best, and even though her characters were clearly young this time around, she still made me swoon at the way she portrayed the best-friends to lovers narrative. Well done!
Shiloh and Kace grew up together and he always knew that she was the one for him. Now years later they are getting ready to move into adult life and start their futures and he knows that he can't let her go without telling her how he feels. Shiloh is getting ready to move to New York for college but she doesn't want to leave Kace she has feelings for him beyond friendship but is afraid he will reject her so she stays quiet. However when he comes clean about his feelings she knows that she can't keep them hidden. What will Kace do about working for his father? Can they survive long distance?
This is a great story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Kace fell in love with Shiloh the first time he saw her as the new neighbor kid and she felt the same thing. But both of them were so shy that neither of them acted on it until Shiloh was accepted in her dream college, NYC. They were always just best friends and neither one dated until Shiloh was asked out by a guy she only thought of as a friend. That's when Kace knew he had to tell her how he felt or risk the chance of losing her forever. 💕💗🔥💕
I really enjoyed reading about Kace and Shiloh's friendship that was so much more for both of them. I found myself laughing and crying right along with them. What a great friends to lover romance.😍
