Until Mayhem: Happily Ever Alpha World

She was my princess.
I was her psycho.
Two worlds colliding with a BOOM.

There was a sh*tstorm brewing. Whispers. Rumbles. A rot—fueled by greed and protected by corruption—that’d seeped like sewage, eating away at everything it touched. The only people I trusted were my brother by blood, my brothers by patch, and the crazy Irish-Scottish bastard I did jobs for.

That was why, when the hot-as-hell blonde started trailing my brothers and me, I had to act.

Maybe Ophelia Kline was working with the enemy—playing me with lies from that damn mouth. Or maybe she was innocent—caught in the spread of toxic rot.

Either way, she was mine. And when push came to glock-in-the-face, I wouldn’t let her go.

Because all good relationships start with a BOOM and a little kidnapping… right?

~~~~
This is a Happily Ever Alpha novel featuring crossover from the Hyde Series and Aurora Rose Reynolds' Until Series. It can be read as a standalone, but it's recommended you read Until Nox first since a certain accented someone shows up often.
Warning: Not recommended for readers under the age of 18 due to alllll the good things: Adult language. Adult situations. Biker hotties who work in the gray. And an OTT hero who knows what he wants when he gets hit by the BOOM.
Layla Frost
Growing up, Layla Frost used to hide under her blanket with a flashlight to read the Sweet Valley High books she pilfered from her older sister. It wasn’t long before she was reading hidden Harlequins during class at school. This snowballed into pulling all-nighters after the promise of “just one more chapter”.
Her love of reading, especially the romance genre, took root early and has grown immeasurably until it was time to write her own stories.
When she's not writing, Layla Frost is an insomniac with a deep love of iced coffee, tchotchkes, plants, and her hens. She's also the world's okayest mom, but her kids think she's cool... ish.
Until Mayhem: Happily Ever Alpha World is a Hyde crossover novella by Layla Frost. Not only does this book have a sexy as sin, alpha, jealous/possessive biker hero, but a kick butt heroine that gives as good as she takes and is just as comfortable in her princessy tulle skirt as she is in jeans and a leather jacket.
Ophelia Jade Kline thought this was going to be a good day when she stopped at the store and saw the sexy bikers getting off their bikes and going in. One in particular grabbed her interest so her cart couldn’t help but go down the same aisles as he did, just so she could see him. But then her world turned upside down, literally, as mister hot as sin grabbed her and accused her of working for some enemy.
Judge Hawkins is president of the Mayhem motorcycle club. He saw her as soon as he took his helmet off. How could he not notice her? He couldn’t take his eyes off her. She was every fantasy he didn’t know he had. It seemed her eyes were on him as well since she seemed to be following him. What better way than to find out what is going on than to kidnap her, right?!
image
These two are thrown together in the craziest of ways. It didn’t take long for Judge to figure out that Ophelia was innocent but someone else had it in for her as well so he would keep her safe until they figured out what was going on. Ophelia soon realized that neither Judge nor his friends would hurt her and that she was safer with them than anywhere else. The chemistry between them was crazy but Judge waited until Ophelia was ready. But he knew, from that first moment at the store, that this woman would be his.
“Don’t make me drag you back to the bike and remind you who you belong to.”
“I don’t belong to anyone.”
“Look forward to proving you wrong later, princess.”
Ladies, Judge was amazing. I loved his possessiveness towards Ophelia, and so did she. But even more, I loved Ophelia. I loved her independence. This girl!! She was smart and tough yet sweet, snarky and funny too. I could not put this book down. Ophelia had no idea how her world was going to change that day at the grocery store. And neither did Judge. But then BOOM! That was it.
The only other book I have read in Layla’s Hyde series is Until Nox, which I’m so glad I did since Nox plays a part in this book as well. It’s definitely not required to have read it. I just enjoyed that I already knew his story. But it’s not enough now. I am absolutely going to have to read the rest of this series because I need to meet these other characters. I love this author’s work so much and I absolutely can’t wait to see what she does next. Because no matter what it is, I’m in!
4 Holy. Biker. Hotness Stars ⭐
It's so wonderful to read a romance that reminds me of one of my favourite eras of romance. The time where the men of romance were Alpha, lived on the side of grey, and ultimately respected the woman of their hearts. With a modern twist, this author has done a fantastic job with this series.
“Go ahead and run. I’ll have fun chasin’ and sure as fuck have fun catchin’.”
Until Mayhem started with a twist. Well actually it begins with a kidnapping, a slightly amusing one. When our heroine Ophelia becomes awestruck around a gorgeous tattooed biker in the grocery store, who would of thought the dude would accuse her of something sinister? Without a chance to convince him otherwise, she is taken...
“You’re fuckin’ lucky your jealousy makes me hard, princess. Not many people get away with insulting me, and that seems to be all you do.”
True or false, it's all irrelevant to Judge Hawkins. Having spotted Ophelia and her wandering eye in the carpark, his complete overreaction is justified. He wants her, and he's having her. However both soon realise there's something else at play in the background. Coincidence or not, Judge is unintentionally keeping Ophelia safe.
Now in forced proximity, the more time spent together, the more they like. And it's not long before these two are burning up the sheets while shit is going down around them. But these two very much compliment one another. Ballsy meets bossy. Gotta love the antics.
“Everyone’s gotta go sometime. Might as well go out with a bang.”
And then she smiled wickedly and clenched her pussy.
Fuckin’ perfection.
It's such a simple story to enjoy. Loads of steam, a little humour and a hint of drama and suspense. But mostly it's one of romance, the possessive kind. So good! 💚
That cover is amazing and the perfect representation of this book. Judge, a hot and possessive biker claims the very sassy Ophelia. And on a bike! Hells ya!
I just love it when a hero wants the heroine no matter the consequences. The fact that he planned to make her his despite the possibility of her working for the enemy is my cat nip. I want my couples 100% committed. I loved Judge!
I'm usually all about the heroes in my books but Layla Frost does one better and bring us such fantastic heroines. I love how reasonable Ophelia is when danger lurks. There are no TSTL moments you have to suffer through. She's a fun character and fits right in with all the other heroines from her previous books. We even get a glimpse of them together. I think we need a novella with a girls night out theme. Hint, hint.
On top of my favorite type of hero and heroines, you've got a group of brothers in the Court of Mayhem club that bring more camaraderie to the story. I really enjoy an extended family in my books. Who doesn't want that kind of loyalty and love in their life? It just brings more to the story for me. Bonus if they get their own books. Insert another hint, hint here.
Fun book and loved seeing a couple characters from Aurora Rose Reynolds Until series make an appearance.
“Holy. Biker. Hotness.” I can’t describe this book any better than the author’s own words. I swear every book she writes get better and each one becomes my new favorite. I suspect Judge and Ophelia are going to ride the top spot as favorite hero and heroine for a while as well. It’s a tough call between them and Nox and Gus. But then again in Ms. Frost’s own words:
”Slap a fookin’ beard on ya, shove a cigar in yer mouth, and yer fookin’ Nox: US edition.”
description
Ophelia never suspected that eyeing a couple of biker hotties at the local grocery store would lead to anything other than a moment of embarrassment. She certainly never expected it was going to change her life forever. When her biker hunger gets her into a whole lot of trouble she finds herself tossed upside down, turned inside out and completely in the dark, literally, as to what the heck is going on.
description
Scrubbing my palm down my face, I admitted, “I don’t f@ckin’ know. Saw her as soon as we pulled in, and it was like…boom. Something just f@ckin’ hit me.”
Judge saw her from the very first moment he pulled into the parking lot and even if his suspicions did play a part in his actions, it was what he would eventually learn was the “boom” that escalated his determination to make her his. Her sassy attitude and take no prisoners outlook solidified the deal for him. He was a goner and no one, not even her, was going to take her away from him.
”Sh!t-ton of blond hair, big gray eyes. Tiny thing, but a big f@ckin’ attitude. Like a princess who’d use her tiara to saw your d!ck off if you looked at her wrong.”
There is nothing I love more than a possessive, dirty talking, alpha hero and holy heck, Judge is all that and more. With a bit of biker slang, sexy smiles, and cocky assurance, he not only won Ophelia over, he won me as well.
I loved that even as he was all about protecting Ophelia, he didn’t run roughshod over her. Their relationship is laced with a wonderful mature humor that is sharp and smart, giving additional depth to the story. Ophelia was sweet and sassy and more than enough to stand up to a big bad tattooed biker dude. I laughed as she kept him on his toes even as he wanted to put her on her back, or against the wall.
description
I thought this was going to be a novella, but was pleasantly surprised when it was not. It is still a fast paced read and never slowed down. There is a bit of drama but it doesn’t really run the story although the club as well as Nox trying to stop a bad guy does add a bit of interest and potential danger.
description
With so much goodness coming from various avenues, I couldn’t get enough of this book and was disappointed that it ended. I was hoping for a bit of a resolution about that bad guy but I suspect it will follow through in what we’ve been promised is Lars’ story.
I highly recommend this book to any and everyone who enjoys a steamy romance with a bit of a slow burn (yes slow, despite that “boom”) with an unforgettable alpha hero and smart heroine. This is one of those that you can sit back and enjoy but will need to block out plenty of time to do so because once you start, you won’t want to stop.
He only kidnapped her once…
I’m going to raise my hand and nominate myself for a kidnapping. I know I shouldn’t joke about something like this but geez my life is busy at the moment; I could do with a break. If I could put in a request though…could you make it a comfy kidnapping. See, I like the sound of someone picking me up, dragging me to a house in the middle of nowhere and leaving me alone. If the kidnapper could make a decent excuse to my boss to get me out of work, that would be helpful too. If my kidnapper could also manage to keep my household alive and moving, that would be spectacular. As I said, I know I shouldn’t joke about it but I wouldn’t mind being kidnapped…and dropped off at an undisclosed location (preferably beside a beach) with a decent stock of coffee, chocolate and my Kindle.
I really enjoyed Until Mayhem and was a little jealous of Ophelia’s kidnapping. Sure, she was petrified but the worse of it was being left with a very full bladder and being a wee bit hungry. The advantages definitely outweighed the disadvantages. Her kidnapper gave her fancy toiletries, new clothes AND books. She was also fed yummy food and had access to a coffee machine. Are you seeing why this doesn’t look like a bad thing to be kidnapped? But, I haven’t even told you the piece de resistance…Ophelia’s kidnapper was HOT!!!
Yes, I can hear you all gasp at my shallowness, but come on, if you’re going to be forced into close proximity with your kidnapper, it helps if he’s eye candy.
Judge never believed in love at first sight and to be honest, he still doesn’t. It took him at least a couple of days to fall for Ophelia. Everything about this woman is attractive, even when she brings out her violent streak. Judge knows he probably shouldn’t have kidnapped her but there’s so much craziness going on in his life that he just went with his gut instinct. Turns out his instincts were right. His kidnapping turns into protecting his little princess and by the end, he’s not sure he’ll let her go.
I absolutely LOVE Layla Frost’s writing. Her humour, characterisation’s and settings always manage to suck me into her stories. Until Mayhem is full of lovable, original and interesting characters and it was great to catch up with some old friends and meet some new ones too. Layla really knows how to write her steamy scenes and the connection jumps off the pages. Her heroines are always a little quirky and the heroes a little rough around the edges. As you get the lay of the land, you struggle to imagine the tutu wearing girl falling for the tatted-up muscle man. In the end, you question how you ever had a doubt.
All jokes aside…KIDNAPPING IS BAD!! But, if I sweet talk hubby, maybe he could kidnap the kids and leave me for a few hours with a decent stock of coffee, chocolate and my Kindle.
If you’re looking for an entertaining read with a touch of mystery, plenty of sexy times, and a love story that's a wee bit quick, I definitely recommend giving Until Mayhem a try. Saying that, if you haven’t tried a Layla Frost, I suggest you...start at the very beginning, a very good place to start…
It was meh, insta-love with a not so cute meetup. I liked the added suspense and their bikers' group. I just feel that something's lacking in the romance; I don't know exactly what it is. Also, the chemistry isn't as palpable as I'd hoped it would be.  🤔
Aside from my issue with the bland romance, I hate the name-calling of women here, like: club wh*res, club bunnies, and b*tches. I mean, is it really needed? The terms were insulting and degrading. What's wrong with women wanting to sleep with a specific type anyway? There are a lot of names for women in fictional romances, but I've never encountered any insulting terms for men who want to sleep with these women. Why is that, though? 🙄😑🥴
Anyway, there was nothing exciting about the story; I wouldn't say it was boring, because there are some parts that weren't bad at all, but the story didn't pull me in. Still, others might find satisfaction with this when I didn't, so.... 🤷‍♀️
The kind of MC romance I really like!
I really liked this MC romance, the two main characters, Judge and Ophelia were both very down to earth and realistic. This was the kind of biker romance I love, with Ophelia being a regular girl outside the MC world, but she got involved through no fault of her own. She ends up being kidnapped by the hot tattooed biker she sees and follows around the grocery store. He and his friends notice her and think she may be some kind of spy for their nemesis, so he takes her. Though she ends up being more involved than either of them could have expected so Judge ends up keeping her with him to protect her.
The story had plenty of steam, some mystery and suspense and all the rest of the goodness of an MC romance. I really enjoyed it and will probably listen to more of this series. The audiobook was told in dual narration and was narrated by Troy Duran and Maxine Mitchell. They are two of my favorites and did a terrific job.
🌟Brief Summary:
ITS THE BOOM BABY!
❤️‍🔥This was my favorite Layla Frost so far.
It’s fast, fun and sexy! It had great banter and sizzling chemistry.
-Ophelia is a the store picking up groceries when she sees the hottest guy ever roll up with his crew on their motorcycles. She can’t help herself 😂 she has to enjoy the eye candy so she follows them around the store admiring the view for a bit. But all good things must come to an end so she gets her food and checks out. Only when she leaves Mr. hottie corners her and won’t let her leave.
-Judge spots the hot little spitfire as soon as he pulls up. He feels a pull towards her but she is acting suspiciously and he has reason to believe she might be a spy.
There is also the fact that something is telling him that THIS IS HIS WOMAN and he can’t just let her leave and he definitely needs to find out if she is working for the enemy to. What’s a guy to do?……. Hmmmm 🤔 Kidnap her? Yes. Yes kidnap her.
But if she’s innocent he will let her go right?….NEVER 😅
And that’s where their story begins
❣️Things I Liked/Loved❣️
-The Banter
-Their chemistry
-❤️No Club MC nonsense with Club whores
-💯No stupid club parties with sleazy feels with sex drug and stupidly… SO REFRESHING.
Really enjoyed this one! It was loosely related to ARR's Until series since it is in the Happily Ever Alpha Kindle World series. But it is directly related to the Hyde series.
Loved Judge! He was hawt and kinda funny in his alpha, BOOM ways. I also loved Ophelia. She was hilarious and I loved her violent nature.
Loved having Nox in this since he is a great character. And liked catching up with the Hyde crew.
5 ‘ The Princess and her Psycho Biker’ Stars
OH. MY. WORLD!!! Talk about MC Romance PERFECTION!!! Mind blowingly extraordinary, that’s what Until Mayhem is. Judge and Ophelia are THE couple… Completely unforgettable!
Layla Frost manages every single time to up her game. For real, I couldn’t see a story and a character pack just a punch in this Happily Ever After World as Nox from Until Nox, well I can say I was completely mistaken because Judge is THE MAN!!!
Don’t wrong, I still adore the accented beast and he will be forever in my heart, but Judge is right there, next to him in the epicness of ALPHAS!!! He is the very definition jealous, possessive OTT Alpha. And I loved every second of it! Like every hero of Ms. Frost’s tales, Judge went straight to my best book boyfriends list, and if like myself you love a crazy obsessed male character – to the point of stalking and kidnapping his h, lol – with all the protectiveness, possessiveness, devotion and let’s not forget beyond HOT, then this book is definitely for you. You’ve got all that and then some! 😉
“Shit-ton of blond hair, big gray eyes. Tiny thing, but a big fuckin’ attitude. Like a princess who’d use her tiara to saw your dick off if you looked at her wrong.”
“How long until you let me go?”
Until… never.
Not only do we have in Until Mayhem this OTT delicious alpha, but his perfect counter part in the female lead department. Ophelia is as witty, hilarious and appealingly relatable as Layla Frost’s usual female characters. The author truly has my kind of sense of humous, i.e. the most sarcastic the better, lol. I loved her thoughts, her comebacks and most of all their banter! Speaking of sexually charged foreplay… Oh boy… *cue fanning myself*
Until Mayhem is not only about this spectacular main couple, and their dynamic courtship, aka rollercoaster ride of love story, but also an incredible world build up. And the interconnection with Layla Frost Hyde series… OMG, it was FANTASTIC to see all the Hyde gang – specially MY MAN, Kase *cue heart eyes and drooling* – it was the perfect weaving of all the characters. Not only with LF past characters, but with future ones, because with the brilliant setting that was here established regarding Mayhem MC, and all these secondary characters, I am already craving all of their own stories, and the way Ms. Frost surpasses in every single one of her books all the expectation, I just know their stories are going to be epic. I just need them STAT!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
We owned each other.
We submitted to each other.
We belonged to each other.
“Badass bikers believe in fate?”
“They do when they’ve experienced it.”
5 MEGA BRILLIANT STARS!
I usually don’t read these “World” books, unless Layla Frost has written them. I loved Until Knox and I absolutely LOVED Until Mayhem. Judge and Ophelia are characters you immediately fall in love in with.
There are amazing one-liners that will have you absolutely obsessing over Layla Frost! Ophelia is perhaps one of my top heroines this year because she is absolutely the perfect amount of sass and wit. I absolutely adored her. Judge was just as impressive. He was just the perfect balance of everything you look for in a hero. He was all kinda of dirty talking sexy AF BAE!
The plot was much more developed than I had anticipated. This is a brilliant full story and I will definitely be reading any future world books Frost participates in.
DNF 28% can’t do it. not for me
The author has a thing for barely legal FMC’s, and 30+ MMC’s.
Plus the FMC’s seem to all be Mary Sue’s, with this one an idiot who lusts after her kidnapper.
Come on!!
What woman wouldn’t be terrified to be kidnapped by several large, tattooed MC guys.
Even if we don’t want to give in to stereotypes, there is some truth within them. Enough that a 22 yr old female would not be calm and mouthing off after being thrown into serial killer van, and taken to the middle of nowhere, where no one can hear her scream.
I need a better set up, and more than a woman barely past teen years, to buy into this.
The whole justification for the kidnapping was a massive eye roll.
Clearly, there are plenty who enjoy this stuff, so I’ll leave it to them.
But for anyone who needs believability and their FMC’s to not be young enough to still be living at home, or only a year or 2 out, and paired off with a mature age guy, choose a different author.
DNF @ 5%
Everything about this is absolutely insufferable. I might give it another try later, but my first reaction is to want to reach into my iPad and stab the heroine sooo.... not going great so far.
The heroine is taken against her will by the hero because he thinks shes a prostitute working for his enemy. All the while shes trying not to smile because the H is just sooo hawt. *gag*
So usually when I write a review about a book I love, it is always the hero that I gush about. In Until Mayhem, it’s the heroine, Ophelia that I am head over heels for. Ophelia is smart, strong, snarky, dorky, and just freakin perfect (and not in a Mary Sue way either). She is the quintessential Layla Frost heroine and as sexy AF as Judge (the hero) is, I would totally choose being O’s best friend over being Judge’s girl (It doesn’t hurt that Kase from Layla Frost’s “Best Kase Scenario” is still my #1).
The meet cute was more a meet-WTF due to some not so covert eye ogling which results in a serendipitous kidnapp……err temporary restraining situation, and allowed the story to showcase how amazingly caring Judge is as well as how NOT TSTL Ophelia is. She rolled with the punches without being spineless, stupid or unreasonable.
I loved the chemistry and banter between Judge and Ophelia. The story allowed a reunion of familiar faces from the Hyde books while introducing new characters from Mayhem in a natural way that didn’t feel like it detracted from the overall story plot, which is a huge feat in a story this length.
I would, of course, love to see this story expanded so that more of the plot tangents could be explored (like the background for the Tennessee trip) and find out more about the rest of the brothers of Mayhem. I am reeealllllyyyyy hoping that we see further stories in the (very near) future. *ahem* *cough*
Overall, I loved this book, and may have let out a fangirl sqee when I received the ARC for review. So ’yes’, I am a huge fan of Layla Frost, and ‘yes’ I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review, HOWEVER if the story wasn’t her usual level of excellence, I wouldn’t hesitate to state it (in a nice way).
This book rocked, just like Piper's cupcakes.
Judge Hawkins is the president of the Mayhem MC, he believes the beauty following him is after something so he takes her. Realizing quickly she was innocent, Judge feels like fate intervened and doesn't plan on letting Ophelia go.
This book checked every box for me. I am a huge fan of Until Nox and Nox is all over this book so that catapulted it to instant favorite. Judge, talk about alpha male he has it in spades and I loved Ophelia she is hilarious. Excellent read I hope there is more to come.
Arriving at the grocery store Ophelia has her mind on what she needs to get, but hearing the sounds of bikes has her glancing in that direction and her gaze falls on him. Judge. The attraction to the hot biker is instant. So is the need to follow him and his friends into the store. That's not a crime right?
Judge noticed the blonde in the carpark instantly. Cute. But his instincts are on high being the president of Mayhem comes with the territory. You never know who to trust or who could be sent to do you harm.
So he does what any normal person would he kidnaps her. All I can say is I wish my visits to the store ended the same way. Until he can figure out who she is and what threat she poses she will be a permanent fixture by his side.
Ophelia is scared out of her mind. What just happened? She's a nurse for crying out loud. But when she finds herself in the back of a moving van she soon realises that she's in trouble.
Theres more going on here, with Ophelia out of the way for the moment Judge heads to her apartment to see what he can find but upon arrival he see's that someone else has already beaten him there. The place is trashed. He's left with more questions than answers. And the only way he can get those answers is with one person. Nox
When Judge realises that she is not a threat to the club or him all he knows is that he wants to keep her. They have to still figure out who is targeting her. And he's not ready to let her go. Ever.
This story was fast moving, it had my attention from start to finish. I loved Ophelia she was pretty badass and she was likeable and engaging. She made me want more from her.
If you're after a dirty talking Alpha, who's totally badass than Judge is your leading hero.
Their relationship might not have started in the traditional sense but what they ended up was perfection.
Super steamy, a story that moved swiftly and the secondary character's scream at me for more.
45% and I'm out.
They barely speak to each other about anything and the hero keeps avoiding giving ANY information to the heroine for the sake of plot development - and it drives me nuts. So yeah.
I have been waiting for this book!!! This was a fast pace semi slowish insta.. and i enjoyed every second. This has got to be a very safe biker book.. i saw no club woman no other old ladies.. nothing.. and the other biker dudes weren't manwhores.. shocking I know lol
So far Judge and Ophelia are my OTP in the happily ever alpha series they were both fun loving MCs.. lets start with Ophelia she was sassy, funny and quirky plus i love her banter with the boys and Judge, who knew looking at hawt biker guys gets you kidnapped lol that's what happens to Oph, Judge lordd this guy was a good biker boyfriend in my books protective, possessive, jealous and OTT with his girl no matter how she tried to escape at first.
When he seen Ophelia follow them he thought she was a spy for someone to get club info but he also felt that BOOM!! So he takes her for the "safety" of the club lol but once he got the okay she wasn't a spy he was never letting her go and since her house was broken gave him even more reason to keep her.. even with some club drama down their backs Ophelia didn't back down and held her ground when things got tough.
Why didn't i do 5 star.. that ending with the guys and why they got jumped was just tossed at the end.. it felt unfinished to me (unless theirs another book?? For another brother?) And more sexy times.. lol
Low angst, no ow/om drama, no cheating,  secondary chara, sexy time,drama, Not a manwhore and not a virgin
Recomend- yes
I am not sure if I am going to be able to come across how much I loved Judge and Ophelia’s story! Not only are we in Aurora Rose Reynold’s Happily Ever Alpha World but we see a return of the sexy accented hero Nox!
Even though the first meeting of Judge and Ophelia was quite unconventional, actually just plain crazy, I absolutely loved it! The covert, yet not so covert stalking results in a bit of kidnapping, or being “temporarily restrained.” What ensues is a whole lot of snarky “sh*t-talk” comebacks from a princess heroine and actions from a dirty talking, possessive bad-a$$ psycho biker that has met his “boom.” Their story started off on a misunderstanding but when they realize that something hinky is going on and Ophelia may actually be in danger, the possessive protector in Judge comes through and a whole lot of hotness emerges!
So much more happens in this story, I won’t go into it all but a little bit of danger, the appearance of Nox and the gang from the Hyde series and a road trip to Tennessee are just some of the highlights. So much goodness, so much laugh out loud moments, and so much sexy times. I loved, loved, loved this book and I can not wait for the next installment!
I ABSOLUTELY FREAKING LOVED IT!!!!
Ophelia is the very best kind of female character - smart, funny & fierce AF! And Judge - well he is deliciously filthy, genuinely Alpha and just the right amount of psycho.
Together we get tattoos, tutus and hot motorcycle special cuddles - yes please!!
Add in plenty of action, legit LOL moments, witty banter and did I mention the the seriously hot sexy times?? - wall sex anyone!! 🔥🤤🔥 Well I was one VERY happy romance reader.
PS Catching up with Nox from Until Nox & the guys from the Hyde series was no hardship either. Loooove them ❤️❤️
I received an arc of this book.
I’m a huge fan of the Until books and loved Ms Frosts’ previous contribution so knowing a new one was coming I was ecstatic. Judge is one scary possessive Alpha. Ophelia was a feisty and kickass heroine and the perfect match for Judge. This book is set in the world of her other books but with a different crew but still overlapping with Jake and Kase and the crew. And specifically Nox. We meet some new and exciting characters which i hope we see more of in future books. It was a fabulous book full of drama and intrigue. It leaves you wanting more like all of Ms Frosts books.
A sassy, pink-loving, kickass, and kindhearted heroine.
A sexy, protective, take-charge alpha.
A misunderstanding turned kidnapping.
Until Mayhem is a must read: sweet, sexy, beautiful, and the romance is definitely the BOOM.
This is an enjoyable romance. It’s definitely a just go with it kind of book. And don’t look too closely at the story/plot. But other than that it’s okay.
I love alpha-tastic heroes who totally adore and love their heroines. If only kidnappers and psychos were as cool and awesome in real life as Judge. Hahahaha. And O was just as great as he was.
This was an awesomely perfect story that I didn't want to end.
5 Stars!
Layla Frost isn't new to me (love all her words!!) and I was pretty stoked to see her in ARR's world again with her Hyde series because her first go round in it with Until Nox was freaking brilliant and a top read for me! And guess what y'all? Until Mayhem is set in the same world with crossover characters and tells one love story that starts out really... unconventional.
Judge and Ophelia lit up my kindle and set my heart on fire from the very first moment they "met". Judge knew what he wanted and what he wanted was her and nothing was going to get im his way. She definitely doesn't was to be anyone's captive but he is different in every single way and she can't deny what she feels for him.
One unexpected journey. Undeniable chemistry. Unforgettable moments. Danger lurking in the background. Heat that would set just about anything ablaze. A push-n-pull between them that'll keep you on you're toes. And banter that'll keep you hooked until the words stop spinning.
Fall head over in heels in love as they take a chance on their very own once on a lifetime kind of BOOM and find forever can happen in just one single moment.
Aurora Rose Reynolds has created a whole new BOOM spin off world book where authors of her choosing write stories that link and swerve into her series. ARR has seriously started a dream by creating this new Happily Ever Alpha world and I'm so so so freaking excited to see what we get in every single book... and even meet some new to me authors and characters.
I highly recommend this fantastic standalone book.
