    This is the second Beefcakes book, however you do not have to have read the first one to enjoy this second installment.

    If you have read my review of Sir Loin, you will know that I had my issues with some parts of the story.

    But never fear, I did not have such issues with T-Bone.

    This is Tucker Duke's story - he's Duke from the first book's brother. Tucker, Colton and Ava's story is hot hot hot 🔥🔥🔥 I am talking douse me with buckets of water hot!

    There wasn't really much of a plot (well, except for getting to the insta-f*&king) and I wanted a bit more substance, I still enjoyed their story. And I enjoyed it more than the first book.

    I can't wait to see where the next book takes us.

    I read this one as I was in intrigued by the rest of the family, after reading the first book in the series. Whilst this one does not have a huge amount of substance, and is based mainly around the insta-love type relationship the characters have, I have to say that the main three characters were likeable.

    A few things from the past pop up, and some issues that need to be dealt with, but for the most part this is just a really fast and sexy read.

    Can be read as a stand alone.

    Ava Carter will move to Raines, Montana and buy the Seed and Feed store, running it and staying busy. While she is a little fancier than many, she is down-to-earth and pretty too. Busy is good, and some customers make it a habit of coming in daily, like Tucker Duke and Colton Ridge. From the time these two saw her at Cassidy’s they both knew she was “the one.”

    The plot will have Tucker and Colton watching out for their girl, especially protecting her from other men in town. “We protect what’s ours.” If a neighbor gets a little handsy or makes a lewd comment about Ava, they will be sure to help him see the errors of his ways. Getting Ava to accept them as hers takes a little more work, but she is worth it.

    “Every day you stop in. Every day you ask me to go out with you, and I say no. Don’t you take no for an answer?”

    My, oh my, when Ava decides to change her mind, and see what Tucker and Colton have to offer, it gets hot, heavy, and dirty. The three of them were meant to be together.

    “I don’t like a gentle ride. I prefer a long, hard one, where we’re breathing hard and all sweaty when done. I felt—good. Relieved. Reassured. I could be me. Makeup and manicures, but manure, too. No, not slutty. Doing hot and sexy things between consenting adults—whether it’s two or three—is not slutty. If that’s what you three like, then go for it.”

    Trouble is brewing; Ava has left her family in Denver refusing to be her father’s puppet and marry his business partner, Perry, a man that does nothing for her. When her father threatens to disown and disinherit her, she doesn’t care; she would rather go through life happy, than miserable like her mother. She will leave Denver and not look back, but that doesn’t mean her father is just going to let her go that easily.

    There is so much sizzling passion when Colton, Ava, and Tucker get together. They are perfect for each other, they give as good as they get, and they have fun getting dirty together. They enjoy taking naughty photos to document their adventures too. While Ava is normally formidable when it comes to her father, he upsets her, and her men don’t like that. They will back her, but allow her to control the situation with her father, and she makes them proud. But get her mad, and the claws come out. Ava can be fierce when she needs to be—and her men enjoy seeing that side of her too. There is just the right balance of power exchange, dominance, and submission. There is no m/m, only m/f and m/f/m scenes.

    “It’s okay for my tiger to be a kitten sometimes. You’re ours now, which means you have to share. Promise. And forever. You’re ours. Every filthy, flirty, feisty inch of you.”

    The story does include explicit ménage scenes between three consenting adults. This is the second book in the series, will read well as a stand-alone and does not end on a cliffhanger. There is also a bonus scene that can be found in Ms. Vale’s newsletter.
