    After book 1, I was so interested in Kinley & Brian's story. We got snippets but nothing was explained.

    Holy wow. This book had me swooning, then laughing, then crying, then swooning again!!!

    This book is my first by Samantha Lind and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My emotions played havoc and had me in tears a few times; some happy, some sad.

    Brian is a long way from the playboy that he used to be and has found the woman who is it for him, he just has to convince Kinley that he is serious. What a sweetheart he is! He talks the talk and walks the walk with confidence. I love him.

    Kinley takes a while to work Brian out and the couple goes through some really tough times. This makes the story even more compelling and had me eager to read this in one sitting. It took a while for me to feel the connection between Brian and Kinley but, once the story built, I loved this couple.

    This is a well written and beautifully emotional story. I am looking out for more from Samantha.

    I am a sucker for a sports romance, so when I saw this I just knew that I had to have it. But was my enthusiasm matched with the content or did it all melt in the flurry of anticipation…Well, truthfully, I think it landed somewhere in the middle.
    I thought the story took quite a while to kick in, for their friendship to turn into something more, and I say this because I think it was fairly obvious where they were heading but darn it, Kenley didn’t half like to drag her heels.
    Brian is ready to move on with his life, life up until now has been as a player in every sense of the word but he is ready to find a woman and settle down and when he meets Kinley (though a connection of his friend and his girlfriend) he was smitten immediately, the shame was that Kinley wasn’t or I should say that she was sort of but since she had been through the mill with guys in the past she was in no rush to be anything more than friends.
    Now, for a guy like Brian, you would have thought that that would have been enough to have him walking away but you would be wrong because he wasn’t averse to being firmly planted in the Friend Zone…because he had an end game and was willing to wait it out and wear her down.
    There wasn’t exactly an exorbitant amount of angst and attitude in the book, it was a solid romance, a smooth boy meets girl story that shows the fact that patience wills out in the end!
    Brian was a delight; a romantic alpha man and Kinley was, in my opinion, a very lucky lady.
    But would she come around or would she let the catch of the season slip through her fingers?

    This is the 2nd book in this awesome series and is Brian and Kinley’s story. Brian had a bad reputation as a playboy, which he is trying to shake off, and Kinley knows what he is perceived as when they 1st meet. This is a beautifully written story which has tad angst, and is an emotional and humorous story which had me intrigued and hooked throughout. I look forward to reading more in this series!

    Kinley met Brian six months ago when he came to Alaska for the Stanley Cup tour with two of his teammates. She was out with her best friend Becca when they bumped into them and they all decided to have dinner together. After dinner, Brian asked her if she would go on a date with him before he went back home. Kinley was hesitant about accepting his invitation because she had heard that he was a player and womanizer, but since he was a perfect gentleman during dinner, she agreed to the date.     I absolutely adored this story!! The misunderstood hero meets the strong-willed heroine. The humorous banter, the tension of holding back, the joy of finally giving in, and the feeling of knowing you've found "the one", all the feels are here.

    Scoring the Player is the second book in Samantha Lind's Indianapolis Eagles series and I loved it just as much as the first! Kinley, the girl looking for that someone special, and Brian, the player, are just so perfect together and have such a sweet romance! Scoring the Player has so many feels, Samantha had me laughing and she made me tear up a bit. One part I really appreciated the most, and it's definitely on the minds of many, is women's rights. I applaud they way she handled this subject matter. Scoring the Player is a standalone and can be read without having read Just Say Yes (you should read it though, because it was really good).

    This book is everything. I laughed, I cried, I wanted to toss my kindle, I needed a hug more than once, and I swooned. This second book in the Indianapolis Eagles series can be read as a standalone but Scott and Becca's story is awesome so you should definitely read that too.

    Brian has a pretty well known reputation for being a ladies' man, a playboy who never takes anything seriously. Kinley has had her fair share of bad boyfriends and nights that never amounted to anything other than a good time so when she meets Brian, she's not interested in anything other than friendship.

    I admit, I was like everyone else in the world. I thought the facade of Brian was the real Brian but I was very quickly proven wrong about him. He's amazing. We all need a Brian in our lives. Watching Brian and Kinley build a solid foundation of friendship had me swooning and sighing for so much of this book. I wasn't expecting all of the emotion I felt from this book but it all made me love these two that much more. I can't wait to see what's up next for the Eagles!!

    I was given this ARC as an honest read for an honest review. This was the second book I've read by Samantha Lind. She writes funny, sexy, real life stories.
    This book is about Brian the hockey team playboy and Kinley the best friend of Becca, who's the team captains wife.
    When Brian meets Kinley something shifts. He sees a future with her and these thoughts change the playboy. Kinley has always been in relationships that are one sided and bad for her. When Brian pursues her she's afraid of letting go and seeing where it will go, until one kiss changes the game.
