Since then I've become a blogger, beta reader and promoter of romance fiction. I also found the courage and support I needed to try my hand at becoming an independent author. Disaster
I couldn't understand this book because the story was so convoluted. I didn't understand what happened between Carina's parents - why they split up. I also didn't understand why Carina's mom was such a witch. The angsty parts of the book was over the top and ridiculous.

This is the first book that I've read by Gwendolyn Grace, and I do have to say, that as a whole, I really enjoyed it. I really liked Brando and Carina, but I think that the thing that I had the most difficulty with was following along with all of the characters. I think that if I had read other books in the Drive Me While series beforehand, maybe I would have been able to grasp them a little easier. I thought the plot was fairly original, but I do wish there had been some stronger closure with some things (like Carina's mother). Maybe that will all come out in other books.
That being said, I did discover a new-to-me author, and I will look for more books by her!

This is the first book I've read by Gwendolyn and I am sorry it was a novella.
I have to go back and read the others in this series.
Nice quick read, filled with drama just how I like. Also it was steamy, hot and OMG alpha male.
I need to know about this BOOM though!
The chemistry between Carina and Brando was off the hook! He asked without taking, then he gave! Not a lot of men will stay with a woman with a lot of baggage. Loved how Carina was like "you sure?" Brando is defiantly a man!

Until Midnight (ARC) was graciously provided to me by Buoni Amici Press for an honest review. I have voluntarily read this book and have provided my honest opinion.
A Gripping, Angsty New Read With A Twist..
WOAH...what did I just read? There were so many yummy, yes, I am freely using this word to describe parts of this book as there were so many great moments which came to my attention. And, that word is...YUMMY! Tattoos, muscle-car car racing, men changing for love, and...ALPHAS! Oh yeeeeah..they are one of my weaknesses. And, this story has all of this..
My most current read was a uniquely mysterious, angsty, exciting, and, emotional new read that caught my eye immediately and was successful in keeping a hold of this reader as I was initially introduced to this world, and, I was very eager for more. More of these tattooed, deep, and, good-hearted individuals..
Until Midnight, by Gwendolyn Grace, is a novella but has the ingredients of a full-length novel. Its busy storyline certainly, as the saying goes, kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the read, as it is a conglomeration of the Drive Me Wild and the Until Series. Readers of these series will be squealing through this new read as there are many cameos from both of these series. Even though I have not read either, it did not take away from the enjoyment of this new release. Its characters were plentiful and each had their own plot and even sub-plot, as a mix of it all made-up a thrilling story that many readers will enjoy.
Boy-oh-boy Until Midnight was quite the read, and, at its conclusion, I came away with a mix of emotions. One being, slight buzzed confusion, because I felt like I needed a road map, or something, because not only was there a great initial storyline, between the two main characters, with a plot that would lead them to their...HEA, but, there also was a very hefty subplot as well. As the initial plot started off great, it quickly took off with having so-much-to-it, that the actual structure of the plot was lost. I needed more development and actual clear depth, as well as, more character background and development for a clearly structured and paced storyline and plot.
I really enjoyed the characters, some more than others, and, was eager to read more about their own seemingly interesting backgrounds, and, so very much need a little Brando and a little Bash just so that I can place them right into my very own pocket, as they were just so sweet and adorable having been written perfectly..
Even for a novella, Until Midnight, was such an intriguing read, and, even though I had wished for more structure and development, it has so much potential to be such a fantastic story with that great storyline and that jaw-dropping twist. With its abundant characters, its gripping, heart-breaking, and, heart-warming plot, I still enjoyed it, and, thoroughly recommend it..:)

I have been a huge fan of Gwendolyn Grace from her very first book, and I was super excited to hear she was releasing Until Midnight.
Don't hate me, but I've not read anything by Aurora Rose Reynolds, so I wasn't exactly sure where the connection would be with Grace's Drive Me Wild Series. I just knew that I HAD to read this story! I had to know what was going on with the original DMW characters that I fell in love with. And let me just say, Gwendolyn Grace did not disappoint.
Carina and Brando's story was one that kept me on the edge of my seat. I enjoyed the bit of mystery that was tossed into the storyline--both Carina's secret and the Brando's trouble at the tattoo shop, as well as the the intense connection they shared and their desire to be together. It was a lot to take in for one novella, but Grace gave these two every bit the story they deserved. She writes in such a way, you can't help but to be captivated. You can't help but to want more and more! Brando is every girl's dream!
One this is for certain, I have missed these guys. The southern South Carolina town wouldn't be the same without it's bad boys and the girls they aren't afraid to stand up for. Carina's life is a mess. She is barely hanging on, working at a restaurant in her hometown and living above it. Scrapping by she meets Brando and had a night where she could let all her problems go. In the morning, he wants to see her again and while she would love to, she can't let her mess bleed onto anyone. She pushes him away but the island is a small place and before she knows it, she is seeing him at a party. Why does the idea of him with another woman practically destroy her? She has no claim on him, right? I think Brando would beg to differ...

After a great night together, Brando wants more and even asks if Carina would be willing to go out on a date and spend more time together. Carina was only in this for one thing, a night with no strings, she can't afford to get distracted from her end goal and that is exactly what Brando would be; a distraction and another way to get hurt. So Brando continues to play it safe and makes sure that he sees Carina a bit each day and starts to work his way through that wall she has put up. But things are never as they seem, and Carina is hiding a huge secret. Once Brando finds out the secret, will he still want to be the big part of Carina's life as he claims?
So this was an ok story, this for me, IMO, wasn't much of a boom story. But these books are about getting a taste of a new to you author, while giving you a bit of the Until world that ARR has created and that's what Gwendolyn Grace did. I feel that this story makes a person eager to start the series that Brando comes from initially. Loads of drama, and some really nice naughty bits, I give this 4 stars.

Until Midnight was an addictive read, filled with intrigue and revelations that I wasn’t expecting! Carina and Brando’s story starts with the morning after what they think is a one-night stand. Being incapable of forgetting each other is something neither was expecting, and renders them powerless to ignore.
Add hot sexual chemistry, secrets and a mysterious past for the heroine, and you have a story that makes it impossible to put down your e-reader!
Gwendolyn Grace is a new author to me and I am so happy that the Happily Ever Alpha World introduced me to her writing! I will definitely be reading more of her books and am looking forward to meeting more of her characters!

I couldn't tell which he found more amusing, me or my corny banter.
Oooh, this story. It kept me guessing at every turn! Carina is an enigma; as soon as I thought I had her figured out, something else happened that made me even more confused. I did love her independent nature, though, and each time I saw her face life head on, I was even more in awe.
Brandon King was definitely swoonworthy, but not in the traditional way. He ran a tattoo shop, which made me totally into him. Although he had a bit of a reputation, he seemed like a generally solid guy and his interest in Carina seemed genuine. Although he didn't quite understand the boom, he definitely got to feel it.
Overall, this story was so good. I love that there was some suspense mixed in with all the sweet emotions of the Happily Ever Alpha world.

almost positive i am new to GG, gotta check. what a great idea. love the cover. i enjoy these characters ... it is a read that will pull ya in and make u curious where the authors will end it? happy there was an HEA ending. is that a spoiler? never know. i don't tell the ending ... just glad it ends well. so happy about that ... will read more from GG soon. i saw she has 2 books on Amazon for free ... so i did grab those up. can't wait. ( ;

I started this book early in the morning. And I couldn't put it down.

Brando is a tattoo artist who draws silly coffee cup characters for Carina to find when he leaves.
But together their chemistry is sizzling. Such an awesome book. I now wanna go back and read the first books in this series...

This is the first book I’ve read from this author. There were characters from her other books & there was a lot going on. Loved seeing Nico in this book, as he is my favorite Mayson next to Asher. Overall a good read!

Until Midnight is my first book by Gwendolyn Grace, but it will not be the last! Both Carina and Brando had their family issues but didn't let that stop them. I couldn't put it down and I will definitely be picking up the others in her series. Great addition to the BOOM family!

Full disclosure, this was the first story of Gwendolyn that I have read. (Now I have to go look at the others) I loved the story of Brandon and Carina. The boom works across all lines. Great story and great couple. Excited for more in this world of characters.

An excellent addition to the BOOM.
I really enjoyed this book, literally every word. I read it in one sitting as once I started I just couldn't stop. It kept you interested and wanting to know what would happen next. A fantastic short story.

Carina and Brando’s story was an amazing story. It kept me wanting more with every sentence. The twist and turns, street racer names, and the love that conquers all was hard to put down. Awesome read and worth more than 5 stars.

This was great!
It was my first book by Gwendolyn Grace, so I didn't know anything about the Drive Me Wild series. I didn't feel like I missed out on anything because of that.
I liked the story and the characters, the HEA was great, and I just enjoyed the story overall.

This story takes us on a very twisty world. There is a lot of mystery surrounding Carina's life and I loved the pace that it was revealed. Brando is definitely BBF material. This is a new to me author and I really enjoyed the writing style.

Enjoyable
I loved this one. Carina is just trying to live her life. But she falls hard for Brandon. But she is hiding a huge secret from him. Will Brandon find out the truth and still want to be with her? Definitely didn't see coming what Carina was facing. A good twist in one amazing storyline. I loved the chemistry between these two. Highly recommend.

This was my first book by Gwendolyn. I loved it. The story of Brando and Carina was wonderful. Loved it. Now am off to read all her other books lol great read!

A sweet, quick read with lost of steamy hot chemistry! Carina is hurt, dealing with a lot, but can’t seem to stay away from sexy Brandon. He is a charming guy, but looks like the bad boy ur mother warned u about. I recommend this book. Told in dual POV.

Good book
I really quite enjoyed Carina and Brandons story a lot. He knew shed be his when he first saw her and will not let her go so easily, even with all the secrets she has and keeps trying to push him away. She also feels the pull between them but tries to resist it. These two were great and just absolutely loved it.
