    Just her Bodyguard is a fantastic 2nd chance love story, Hudson received a “Dear John” while serving his country, the betrayal of his Fiancé and Best friend stung deep. His brother offers him a job protecting Stella a “spoiled Hollywood Princess” according to Hudson but takes the job to help his brother as their family is falling apart. Hudson doesn’t make it easy for Stella, she pushes him to go out of his comfort zone and both start to realise that they are not who them seem.

    I loved both characters, Hudson had his brooding bad boy attitude that was enhanced by heartbreak, which lead to the urge to fix him. Stella is the complete opposite to her spoiled princess label, she is down to earth and just wants to do what she loves.

    Sexy Hollywood star and a Bad Boy Marine, who doesn’t feel the sexual chemistry rolling off them. They build a friendship and when they finally come together there is no stopping them, they are everything they both need.

    This is my first Charity Ferrell novel and I really enjoyed it, I cleared my day and dived right in. The use of both POV’s is always a plus for me, I enjoy reading how both characters are feeling in that moment and Charity seamlessly went between the two making this read one I couldn’t put down.

    I personally loved this book and can’t wait to get into the next book which involves minor characters and I see how Charity tells Dallas and Willow’s story, I know its going to have me on edge.

    Make Me Yours is a wonderful contemporary romance by Charity Ferrell. I had not read any of Ms. Ferrell’s work before, but since reading this novel I am looking forward to familiarising myself with more of her work. Ms. Ferrell writes beautifully and has produced a really entertaining read.
    Stella Mendes is an actress, the well-known star of Television and film- she leads an enviable life, some would say the ‘perfect life’. She has a lucrative career in both film and television, a hunky boyfriend, lives a ‘lifestyle’ of the rich and famous, and has a fabulous best friend. But we are talking Hollywood here, and we all know that everything in Hollywood is make-believe.
    She and her ‘boyfriend’ are just for show- organised as a P.R and ratings boost; her Television series has finished and she is still stinging from the break up with her (actual) long-term boyfriend- so; her sex-life is non-existent and she longs for some different roles- not such a perfect life after all.
    When her trusted bodyguard has a family emergency, he organises for someone to cover for him, until a replacement is found. The story really takes off when this big time Hollywood star meets Small Town Navy Seal- the sparks fly, worlds collide and passions are unleashed. Could this be the change she’s been looking for?
    Hudson Barnes a Navy Seal, has just returned home on leave, after back-to-back deployments serving overseas. He has a situation he doesn’t want to have to deal with at home- so he’s somewhat relieved when his brother asks him to step in and take over his security detail for a spoiled Hollywood princess. Hudson isn’t looking forward to dealing with a diva, but his brother needs his help, so he agrees to help out.
    He is surprised by what he finds when he meets Stella, she’s not quite what he was expecting. Their attraction is instantaneous, and their chemistry is undeniable. What would seem like a case of opposites attracting, is actually two halves coming together to form a whole. But what happens when secrets come out and there is a devastating development? Will these two risk it all to be together, or will it burn out as quickly as it starts?
    This is a great story, really well written and had me totally engrossed by the end of the first chapter. I found it refreshing, entertaining, funny, sweet and sexy.
    The characters were all well developed and likeable. I found them relatable, and connected to them and their story.
    The story flows really well, has a great pace and is a smooth, easy read. I read it in one sitting.
    I am pretty excited to explore more of this authors work.

    I LOVED the other books in the “Just” series but this one fell flat for me. Hudson didn’t seem to follow any procedures that a bodyguard would, which, given how big of a star the FMC is, should’ve been an integral part of the story. I would’ve liked to have seen the purpose of his being her bodyguard explored more as well, there was no external conflicts in that regard. I just didn’t fall in love with the characters. Highly recommend the other books though, they’re some of my favourites!

    Stella and Hudson’s story was so good! I absolutely loved it. Right from the start I was completely hooked in to their story. I don’t usually enjoy a lot of the bodyguard/star type stories, but this one is definitely one of the best I have read.

    I loved the way the characters connected. They had such an electrifying connection. Their scenes had all that delicious tension you could cut with a knife. And fireworks happening as they finally come together. I just loved it.

    This book had me laughing, and also tearing up to the sad bits. I am so ready to grab the next one! I can not get enough of this author’s writing.

    Hudson is back from fighting in the army. Back to his home town where his high school sweetheart and best friend are. Two of the most important people in the world to Hudson and the two that have betrayed him the most. Hudson is angry and hurt and needs to get away from the town for a while.
    Stella is a famous TV star and needs a new bodyguard. Who better than the brother of her old bodyguard. Stella needs someone to keep her safe and Hudson needs to get away from home. Can Hudson protect someone who he thinks is a Diva? Can Stella stay away from her hot bodyguard? Can two people who come from very different worlds be together?
    This is the first book I’ve read by Charity Ferrell and definitely won’t be the last because I totally loved it. It’s well written and Charity had me hooked from the very start and falling in love with the characters the more I read. It’s emotional, sexy and hot. This book had me laughing out loud, crying and hot under the collar all at once! Definitely a must read for 2017.

    Charity Ferrell is a new author for me and I am really glad I gave “Just Her Bodyguard” a try. I generally don’t like movies about actors or actresses but have to say I really admired the heroine, Stella. Since she was famous she needed a bodyguard and hot and handsome Hudson, reluctantly agrees for a minimum duty. His brother, Dallas, served as her bodyguard but was needed at home to take care of his ill wife. I loved the relationship between Hudson and his family and felt he was very hero-worthy in my book. Not only his he a loyal and dedicated, he was a veteran, family-oriented, loved the small-town simple life, was hardworking, smart, and very sexy! He originally stereotyped Stella and I am glad he was able to admit that he was wrong after he got to know her and realized she was a beautiful, caring person on the inside and out. They both had an immediate attraction towards one another and tried to remain professional, but of course couldn’t.

    Charity has a great writing style that pulls you in, and made you really feel for the two characters and all they went through. They both had past hurts, and I like a relationship where the characters don’t play games and are honest and open with each other, and are there for each other. I liked how when they committed, they were all in, through the good and bad, and how they supported one another. I especially liked the HEA and was hoping it would end with them compromising realizing each of their dreams were important.

    I will definitely be reading more of this author in the future.

    After falling in love with the Twisted Fox Series in the last few weeks, I needed to read more of Charity Ferrell's back list novels. Just a Fling was a really good book that had me entertained all read long. After a slow start, the intrigue took flight and ultimately had my complete attention. The evolution of Stella and Hudson's romance was so beautiful. The alpha bodyguard discovered that the sexy actress he worked for was so much more than the diva he assumed she was. They shared real moments that created a deeper connection between them. The sexy encounters between those two were SO HOT! Overall, this book was well rounded with humor, flirty banter and feelings! I'm now diving into book two of the Blue Beech Series, because that ending had me eager for Willow and Dallas's story!
