    This was a beautiful and well written debut novel by Amali Rose. Ben and Skye build a relationship after both had been hurt previously. Skye is very weary of handing over her heart where Ben seems to worship the ground Skye walks on. Throw in Skye's best friend Cassidy with her sassiness and there are plenty of laughs throughout the story as well. There is a wonderful twist discovered on one of their dates which I thought was sweet. They end up in a situation that severely tests their relationship. This was a really sweet story. I completely enjoyed it. Congratulations Amali!!

    OMG! This was my first Amali book that I've read, and OMG, I loved it so much! I can't wait to read more in the series.
    Skye and Ben on a dating app, and get to talking. They are talking for a bit, and then they finally go on a date!
    They get each other. From their humour to their lifestyle, to pretty much everything about each other.
    Little do they know, they have a past. Together. They discover that on their date.
    Skye's friend Cass cracks me up! I love that she is so protective, but hilarious about Skyballs. Just her fierceness is amazing!! BTW, I can't wait to read her book!
    One thing leads to another, and Ben opens up more and more about his past, and then the atomic bomb so to speak drops.
    OHHHH I hated Ben so much for what he did to Skye!! I wanted to reach through my kindle and throat punch him for what he said to her!

    I enjoyed this book, its a true romance novel. It's sweet and lovely. The scenes are well written and you fall in love with the characters. They have both been hurt in the past and are sceptical about loving anyone else.
    I enjoyed reading but was waiting for more drama to happen. The book didn't take me long to read and enjoyed the 5 years later at the end which finishes it off nicely

    I absolutely loved this debut novel by Amali Rose. The story was sweet, perfectly blended, and the characters are so relatable and loveable.

    You meet Skye and Ben. They met online and have been talking regularly for a while when Ben finally sets it up for them to meet in person. They are cute in their awkwardness when they first meet but then the ice breaks and they fall into their normal selves. The banter and interactions between them are sweet and at times outright hilarious. Ben is a jokester and you can't help but laugh at his corny knock knock jokes. Cassidy, Skye's best friend, is hilarious and holds nothing back. You can't help but love her and want a friend just like her that will push you or cheer you up when needed.

    As they fall for each other you wonder if they will be able to help each other get past painful events from their pasts and find the love they both want and deserve.

    This was a sweet, heart-warming story that had it all, even some small twists that had you on the edge of your seat. I melted, laughed, & cried while reading this book and loved every second. I'm looking forward to seeing what else this author has in store.

    What an amazing introduction to Amali Rose’s work. I didn't realise until the end that this was her first book because it's so well written and the balance between romance, heat and suspense is perfect. This is a great story for when you need to switch off from life and read about the beautiful moments between a couple who were clearly destined to be together. I fell in love with this couple more and more as the story progressed, and I thought it was incredibly creative to use Skylah and Ben’s text conversations to show their relationship progressing and then healing. There's nothing I didn't like about this book and in no way did it feel like a novella. I could read this book again and again.

    As soon as I'd finished Under The Cherry Blossoms, I went straight onto Amazon to see when book 2 would be available and I was excited to see that Dandelion Dreams is already released. Book 2 is about Cassidy and Mason who we have already met and I'll definitely be downloading a copy when I have the funds.

    I really loved this book. It had the perfect mix of sexy and sweet. Skye comes from a broken family. A past that makes her question if the possibility of true love really exists for her. She's sweet, funny, caring, but also extremly gaurded when it comes to men. But when she get tried of doing the one-hand-rock-band for the big O, she decides to try and find someone to help her.
    Skye has a heart of gold. I woul even say she's shy at times. But with a hilarious, dity minded best friend by her side and no man to keep her satisfied even the sweetest woman can go a little nuts. Taking her chances on online dating, she strikes gold.
    In comes Ben. Sweet, sexy, confident, successful and dominant Ben. He ha everything going for him. There's a charm about him that you can feel pooring through the pages of the book as you read. He knows exatly how to treat a woman. He's a gentleman is the streets and the way he treats Skye has both her, and the reader yearning to take him to bed just so he can make good on all of the dirty promises he makes. He's a man that holds doors and pulls out chairs, but one look from him will make you forget all your troubles.
    Skye and Ben really do make the perfect pair. My absolute favorite thing about this story is that it's a very realistic tale of love and heart ache. I love a good billionaire romance just as much as anyone alse, but like chances of that actually happening are slim. Amali's writing and characters seem real. Just like myself and you, the person reading this review. Ben isn't rolling in money, he doesn't live in some fancy house. Skye is beautiful, but she isn't a flawless Victoria Secret model.
    Both characters have struggled, felt real pain. Pain that they both carry around. Pain, that if they can't work through, it very well could ruin the first real chance a real love. Everyone has baggage. the question is, can Ben and skye get past thiers and give love a chance or not? You'll have to one click this heartfelt, steamy story to find out! I can promise you won't regret it. Under The Cherry Blossoms will leave you itching to see what this talented author writes next. I'm exited for her and I definitely can't wait to see what other amazing stories she has up her sleeve.

    this was a short read and despite the plotline being pretty clichéd, the story overall was kinda cute and sweet and with good dose of smut.

    personally, i am not a fan of smut and that's just a preference but i think it's worth giving this book a chance if you enjoy those elements in a story.
