    This is my first book my Jordan Bates & won't be the last as I plan to jump straight into the next in the series.
    I think Max was totally the hero of this book & was swoon worthy right from the start

    I really liked Max and Alexa, the chemistry between them was amazing, they worked well together. The found the story itself was a bit slow in the beginning.

    You guys this book is so good and sweet. I absolutely loved this book and the characters. Poor Alexa though, my heart broke for her and everything she had to deal with.

    And Max! I love reading a book with a strong male character who's not afraid to share their feelings no matter how risky putting them out there can be.

    I loved this story and even wanted to get a few hits in on her husband myself! She had given everything and when they realized she would no longer be able to have children, he changed. I respect his feelings but not what he did to Alexa. When she and Max connected it was like two lost souls finally coming together. He complemented her where her ex was a selfish individual. I am happy that she and Max were able to find happiness together! This is a well written story that stirs the emotions and keeps you glued to the pages!

    Takes awhile to get there but overall this was a great read. I often complain about the books with lack of communication and yrs this falls under that however it is written well. Will draw you in.

    So before I begin I do want the readers to know that I did like this book it is a good book! What was wrong with it for me was that the heroine seemed just a little too whiny, high school-ish to me. The main thing was that some of the things in the book were just wrong she would say it was one week he would say it was two weeks, there were a couple other timelines that did not make sense to me I would go back in the book and read and then go a couple of pages further just to make sure that I was reading it correctly so for that reason I had to take off a star because when your job in the book is editing books making sure storylines all that matchup but when it’s the “real” book it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth I guess is a great way to put it but like I said I really did like the book tho just wish those parts weren’t messed up.
