Gorgeous Gyno

Rate this book
It started with an invitation.

A masquerade ball, the ultimate fantasy.

The concept was fascinating, and surprisingly simple.

Wear a mask and forget who you are.

So, I did just that…maybe a little too well.

Something about that night gave me a false sense of bravery.

I met the most beautiful man, masked and delicious.

Tempting as hell, and as naughty as they come.

His touch left me breathless.

Just one passion filled encounter and I’ll never see him again.

No harm done.

Until.

My new gynecologist walked into the exam room, I look up to see that same gorgeous face.

Those eyes.

But this time, he’s the doctor, and I’m the patient.

This is one of those sunshiny happy happy romances that we all wish we could experience. I have fallen in love with Grayson, I want one of my own. It it funny, it is super nice, it is sexy. Just one of those loving stories you need to read every now and then, to make everything right in the world.

Okay so I haven't read any of Karen Deens work and this was my first and I can't say i'm disappointed! Our hero, Gray was a sweetheart and not our basic douche which I really found adorable! And Tilly was both a boss and a little uncertain at times which complimented with Grays reassuring personality! Basically if you're done with the real male population then you should definitely give this a read and wait for your prince charming to turn up somehow lol!

Jessica’s Review

This was a really cute read. There was some drama but for the most part Gray and Tilly were adorable together. I was really hoping for an accident pregnancy with this book and while it didn’t really happen I still really enjoyed it. I laughed and swooned many times when it came to all the characters and the sweetness of Gray.

I loved all of Gray’s and Tilly’s friends. I would love to see them all get their own books. They had such amazing personalities and I feel like there is so much under the surface of each man and woman.

Overall this was my first book by this author and I plan to read more. The banter was great; the story pulled me in, and the characters kept me hooked. 4 stars #2OCCJD

Gemma’s Review

Gorgeous Gyno really captured my attention from the moment I read the details about this story and I was not disappointed. This was an incredibly fun read with great banter between the characters.

Tilly was an enjoyable character and I found her to be incredibly sweet. I found that she was a really relatable character which made me enjoy this character even more.

Grayson I loved and could not get enough of throughout the story. I really loved the way he was with Tilly and the way he looked after his friends.

This was an enjoyable story that had two characters that had a lot of chemistry between them. This was a sweet romance read that had some incredible hot moments within it and some great characters.

Struggled With This One

This is my first read of Karen Deen and while I enjoyed some aspects of the story I struggled with getting through this one. It dragged and while I enjoyed reading both Tilly and Gray’s point of view too much of the book was what they were thinking and feeling with little dialogue. I nearly gave up after the first few chapters as there was almost no dialogue but pushed on because of the great reviews. Finally when Tilly and Gray meet and the dialogue started it was great, their connection was instant and strong. But then it was back to pages of no dialogue, over analysing and explaining Tilly’s work events and Gray’s work and the friends especially Hannah wanting every detail of Tilly’s sex encounters. That went on repeatedly, became repetitive and was unrealistic. Karen had a great story here and the main and background characters really worked but she’s just crammed too much stuff in there to fill out the story, for eg. Tilly’s first planned date for Gray, that bogged down the read making it too long. What I did like was that once Tilly and Gray decided to be together which was halfway through the story that there wasn’t the predictable break up over a silly misunderstanding. Their relationship stayed strong despite an nasty ex but honestly overall this book just dragged too much in between the Tilly and Gray moments. It’s not one that will stay in my library.

What a heartbreakingly beautiful romance, add a bit of spice into the mix and we have a winning recipe. The storyline takes you on the journey of a woman who is married to her career and who quite literally runs and falls for her very own gorgeous gyno. The characters are real, lovable and hilarious, the kind of people you’d love to spend a few hours with...except for Kitty and her claws.

Matilda’s best friend Hannah urges her to attend the masquerade ball, whilst
staying behind the security of a mask. Her task, find herself a Prince Charming for the night and enjoy whatever was on the dessert cart. Tilly made certain to sample every dessert on offer, whilst remaining in disguise. It made the whole experience more intriguing and heightened her senses...until she ran. Imagine her surprise when Dr Garrett comes in to the examination room, he may of worn a mask but she’d never be able to forget him. After verbally vomiting, she once again takes a run. It seems this pair are destined to keep meeting and Tilly is going to need to take a giant leap of faith.

I have my fingers crossed we may get to read about Grayson & Tilly’s friends.

Oh how much I loved Matilda and Grayson . Tilly is an event planner that get gets talked into attending a masquerade party in disguise of course. Grayson is a guest that finds a mysterious woman at a party very captivating ! A night of passion with no names soon takes a very different turn. The one night stand becomes the patient! I so enjoyed their supporting cast of characters .
This was funny, sweet, steamy and yes a bit of an emotional tear jerker .

Not the best book I’ve read

I liked the characters and the storyline, but when i finished the book, i felt there was something missing, compared to other stories I’ve read.

I think read it and make your own mind up.

I saw some of the other reviews for this book and I'm puzzled by some of them. While I wanted to love this book, I just didn't. Matilda is an event planner and is afraid of love so during one of her events that is a masked ball, she meets a man and has a one night stand. The guy totally rocks her world and she can NOT get him out of her mind. The next day she realizes she has a gyno appointment and with some bizarre circumstances, her one night stand is her substitute gyno. She pretends she doesn't know it is him and he doesn't recognize her. Both keep silent.

When they bump into each other next, they start to date. We all like a swoonworthy guy but there was a lot of over the top mushiness and lovey dovey talk. If I read "how did I get so lucky" or "where have you been all my life" or "where did you come from" one more time, I will scream. Definitely not my cup of tea. I had a hard time staying focused on all the sappy love stuff and found myself skimming the story. It distracted me from their story and just wasn't for me. It might be exactly what you are looking for though if you like sweet, romantic stories.

A solid read.
The FMC and the hero are supposed to be in their mid 30’s, but the dialogue is not what I would think a person of that age would say.
For example the MMC, Grayson ‘Gray’, calls The FMC things like;
- my little one
- always calling her ‘baby’ lol
AND I’m not talking about only once or twice - no - he calls her ‘my little one’ at least five times EVERY SINGLE CHAPTER!!!!!
And Matilda ‘Tilly’, the FMC, says that Gray is F!ckalicious... like just no! She also calls Gray her ‘GG’ which is weird because she does it ALL.THE.DAMN.TIME. And so does he. No spoilers but in one particular case when he’s asking her something, he says; “Will you let me be your GG and only your GG”, like come on now. Stop. It’s not cute... it’s incredibly cheesy.

When the two of them finally start a relationship halfway through the book, it moves very fast. Too fast.

The two main characters just don’t act their age at all (except when they have to be professional at work). It makes reading the book very uncomfortable.

The whole book was a huge struggle to get through. It just seemed to drag on forever and ever.

This has been my first book from Karen Deen but it certainly won’t be my last, a funny, enjoyable read with a fantastic host of characters and some great, hilarious banter.

Tilly and Gray spend a passion filled night together after meeting at a masquerade ball, however once her mask comes off Tilly doesn’t expect to see the beautiful masked man who’d left her breathless again especially so soon as the next morning whilst she’s lying on an examination table waiting for the gynaecologist to walk in but that’s exactly what happens, she’d recognise those beautiful eyes of his anywhere. A few chance encounters follow and the pair find themselves growing closer together and falling in love despite any obstacles in their way.

I can’t even begin to tell you how much I enjoyed this book and I’m look forward to seeing what’s in-store next for the rest of Gray’s friends, in the meantime I’ll devour the other books that this extremely talented author has available.

Our main characters, Dr. Grayson and Tilly, an events planner and business owner, are supposed to be 37 and 32 yrs olds, respectively, but the dialogue is that of teenagers. It was so cheesy and immature, it was completely unbelievable, especially of two mid-to-late 30-something professionals.

Also, it's distracting when a non-American is trying to write a story based in America but uses terms and phrases not common in America. For example, we call it a parking lot, not a car park, we don't refer to our friends as "mates", and we don't call elevators "lifts". These are minor errors but are enough to pull you out of the story, nonetheless.

I think the story premise was good, but the execution was a bit of a miss. As a suggestion, I think the author should either write YA with this kind of dialogue, or write more mature dialogue if she wants to stick to mature characters.

GORGEOUS GYNO by Karen Deen is the story of Matilda 'Tilly' and Grayson 'Gray'.
Tilly friend Hannah tells her she should have some fun and loosen up for one night. That night is going to be a masquerade ball. Tilly ends up meeting someone she wants to have a hot secret night with...which she does and then walked away. But what was unexpected was to see him soon after and that 'him' is her new gynecologist. Both have busy careers but things come to a hot stop when their feelings start to become more.
Loved this steam read.

This book was so boring. Underdeveloped plot. The smutty scenes weren't good. The characters annoyed me so much, they seemed so immature for being in their 30s/40s. I was so bored the whole way through.

My first Karen Deen book and I fricken loved it! It had hot, steamy romance mixed with humour and a great storyline. I laughed a lot through this book but have become so invested in Gray and his 3 friends, as well as Tilly, Fleur, their families and friends. Such a well rounded book, no stone was left unturned in this story.

A fantastic 5⭐️ from me!!

Loved this book!

Oh my heart! I loved this story. It was so sweet, funny and hot with a touch of sadness. I even shed a few tears. Loved Tilly and GG was gorgeous. This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I’ll definitely be looking to read more. I’m hoping there are books for Bella, Tate, Lex and Mason.

It’s ok.

Great subject, started out well, but then just got so boring. I found myself skimming through this trying to get out of the boring fillers like going to the zoo. Eh, really wish I could have liked this more.

Where to even begin?...

Gorgeous doctor longing for the One... Beautiful event planner also longing for the One, may be a little fragile but is willing to change.

I am in love! Dr. Garrett and miss Tilly are a match made in heaven (no pun intended). But, it is safe to say that Maxine (Gray's mother) definitely had a hand in this beautiful match. From the moment they bumped into each other it was set in stone - Love was going to conquer even if Gray had to tie Tilly to a bed. He was going to have her. And she was going to love him.

I don't wanna spoil this for anyone. I really wanna spill my guts on all the juicy deets but I'm going to keep my lips sealed on this one.

As always, the lovely Karen Deen, you never disappoint. However, I have to ask... Will Fleur be getting a book too? If so, I think Tate would definitely be up her alley (pun intended).

Paging doctor Gray..

Good lord Grayson was hot in all the right ways. His charm, sense of humor and charisma was all out hotness. He had me blushing at times with his crude sexy mouth but had me blushing for others reasons as well.

He was one hot doctor and boy oh boy did he make you fall in love... Hard!!!

Tilly was just divine I loved her she made you laugh out loud and had you gunning for her.

The banter between Grayson and Matilda was just amazing it was a great dynamic which had you laughing out loud and had tears in your eyes from laughing so hard. I loved every second of this perfect love story.

They kept me captivated and had me gushing at how cute and adorable they were.

One of my top books this year

Karen Deen delivers a delicious & swoonworthy romance and I was captivated from the first page.

I loved finding out what drives and motivates Tilly and I loved even more the chance she took when her bestie gave her a gentle nudge and urged her to live a little. (We all need a bestie like Hannah) I was intrigued like I was right there at the ball watching the evening unfold.

Enter the delectable Grayson, he’s not only all kinds of delicious he’s a Gynaecologist. (Bravo Karen I love his career) and it added a hole wonderful layer to their breathtaking journey into trying to fit into each other’s lives while staying committed to their work.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it had so many elements I love when I’m reading. This is a definite must click today.

I had a hard time putting this book down. Gray and Tilly are a couple that is meant to be. An accidental meeting a masked charity event and a rather embarrassing gynaecologist visit and add in a whole lot of sexual chemistry, this book will have you laughing and leave you wanting more from this couple and I certainly didn’t want this book to end.

Grayson and Matilda meet at a masquerade ball. They end up having a one night stand, never thinking to see each other again. Surprise is in store when Matilda meets her new gynecologist and he turns out to be Grayson. Oh my what a shock for both! I enjoyed this story of how these two were so much alike with no time to date because of their jobs. A sweet, funny and sexy story.

Stick With It. Gray is Actually a Decent Guy!

I was so close to not reading this story. The chat up lines and sex talk at the beginning was so arrogant and cheesy that it was a real turn off. Thankfully we get to know Gray better and the cockiness becomes bearable and the story worth reading.

This book was okay. I found myself skipping a lot of pages. Some chapters had no point to them. Wasted pages written about boring irrelevant conversations between characters. Don't need to know the characters every thought.
I think the only positive was that the book finally ended.

What in the actual fuck is this writing? How can this book have such a high rating? Are you people serious?
It’s the most disgusting piece of ‘literature’ I have ever read. It’s like a 14 year old got unleashed in the editorial section. Fuck this. dnf

Good idea but not executed

An interesting concept that failed to deliver. The characters are flat and boring and it’s hard to hold your interest. All tell and no show.
