I'm their lover. Their grenade. And grenades explode. Outside, a quiet war wages between two fractured countries. Inside, I have been blasted by my own explosion. Torn into pieces. I am a protector - for her. A lover - to both. A traitor - to all. We have all been on our knees at the feet of someone else. We have all spent nights escaping in our shared beds. We all want to wear this tarnished crown. Blair. Isaac. And me. The grenade. Grenade is the second book in the Tarnished Crown Trilogy.

Its not your standard love story. Ben and Blair are very much together in private, she is the princess of Scotland and he is her bodyguard who vows to keep her safe. Her brother is assassinated and so there are now people after her. England wants to take over Scotland and so does Norway. Bens sister is involved with a group who are dangerous and Ben is split in half. Isaac, the half brother of the English Prime Minister is now in their threesome and there is some serious kink between the three. Snippets of information are given but not enough for you to know who is trading secrets and then Ben is in danger. Great second book

Grenade continues where Chandelier left us but it is told from Ben’s POV. I loved that the author did this because I was left with so many questions about this man after the first book, and it was great to get to know him more. I feel I’ve come away with as many questions as I had going in to this book to be honest, but then I’m expecting that the third and final novel will tie everything up for me. I desperately need to know, so I will be waiting impatiently for the release of Emeralds.

In Grenade we follow the aftermath of the events that happened in book one and witness the decisions that Blair has to make. We also had a taster of what was happening between Blair, Ben and Isaac in the first book and the relationship that they have moves forward in this book with some very hot M/M/F scenes. The attraction that they all share is unquestionable and I cannot wait to see what happens next between them.

This book continued to keep me intrigued throughout. I'm desperate to find out what is going on and what the outcome will be. Who can be trusted? What is that person’s motive? What secrets are they keeping? I guess I will discover all the answers in Emeralds, the conclusion of the Tarnished Crown Trilogy, and I cannot wait.

Grenade is book two in the Tarnished Crowns Trilogy and this time it's told from Ben's point of view. The prologue again sets up Grenade so you know what's coming! You delve into Ben's past in this book and you discover that Ben's seen and done a lot and he trusts very few people! He will protect the people he loves to the ends of the earth. There were tears when I was reading this. So much hurt in his past. This story is truly amazing and has left me excited to see how this trilogy ends!

I don’t read MMF a lot but I have to admit I’m so invested in Blair, Ben and Isaac. They’re not exactly a conventional couple but they work for each other. In this book they’re dealing with loss and tragedy. Yet despite that they persevere and overcome their struggles.

Isaac and Ben give Blair different things but they work together in the best way. I could not be able to pick a favourite between them both. I love their personality and who they are for different reasons.

However I could feel something bad was going to happen and the ending of the book. I can’t quite get over it. I just had the same jaw dropped expression for a good few minutes. This story takes you on a rollercoaster but I promise it’s worth it. Truly worth it.

I knew after reading the first book that I would love this one, and I wasn’t wrong. It’s so good to read a book with such a strong female character.
This book is once again action packed and very very hot! MMF books usually aren’t my thing, but I am thoroughly enjoying this series.

I received an ARC of this book.

Holy smokes. This book has all the heat. I'm not usually a fan of M M F but I absolutely love these characters. The storyline continued and kept the interest in the story and left you wanting more. It has a lot going on but in such a good way. Absolutely fantastic.

The heat definitely gets turned up a notch in book 2 of this series, wowsers. Gripping and page turning for sure.

A very intense M/M/F book with a historical perspective, with a lot of drama to be cleared up going into book 3 definitely a rollercoaster of a ride to go on.

I cant wait to get the answers to all the unknown questions in emeralds (book 3), seeing how Blair, Ben and Issacs journey relate and conclude.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great middle

Grenade is a great middle book in this trilogy as we learn all about Issac and Ben and watch them balance their familial obligations with the love they have for each other and Blair. I love development between these three and their romance is so sweet and passionate, but not quite fine tuned yet which has me excited for the third book!

4.0 out of 5 stars Awesome book 2

The second book in the Tarnished Crown trilogy. This time, from Ben's POV. We get some answers. We get new questions. We get hot smexy time between our favorite princess, and her two delicious men. The plot advances, and the book ends on a bit of a cliffy, as many a book 2s do.

The world of this series is fascinating. I'm digging the romance, smexyness, but I'm LOVING the world.

I received an arc of this. Also preordered because the whole series is just that good.

5.0 out of 5 stars “No one ever told me that you could break a heart by giving someone yours” -Ben

“No one ever told me that you could break a heart by giving someone yours” -Ben. This book is full of love, passion and pain. It will ignite every brain synapse that you have. It is better than chocolate, ice cream and an unlimited credit card. Grenade is book 2 in the Tarnished Crowns Trilogy, and is told from Ben’s point of view. The story of deception, love, passion and angst continues.
So many people want to manipulate Ben. He’s a chess pawn in a wicked game of thrones. The assassination of Blair’s brother, the future king heightens political tension and makes her the number one target for more than just death. As the deception comes to a boiling point, so does the passion, and nothing is quite as it seems. A true test of faith for three people to love each other despite all odds.

A terrific successor to Chandelier! The political intrigue has me on the edge of my seat - I can’t figure out Ben’s secret! Incredibly hot bedroom scenes.
I love that each story is told in a different voice. Isaac is most fascinating - can not wait! Anything Annie Dyer writes I will devour - this is an atypical genre for me and I LOVE it! Counting the days for #3 :)

The second book in The Tarnished Crowns trilogy is written from Ben's point of view.

Filled with suspense, romance and a LOT of steam, Blair, Ben and Isaac try to figure out who to trust and who is out to destroy them.

This series is phenomenal! I can't wait to read the last book!
