    Ruthless hellhounds mc is becoming one of my all time favourites, first i fell for mercy in his story now im obssessed with whistler and charlie. k l savage is an amazing author she tackles tricky story lines like domestic violence and abuse with ease her storys draw you in until you feel like the characters are family, and so you can feel everything that happens.. loved it. i really hope one and taylor find love together too. cant wait to preorder the next in the series..

    It was simply WoW when Whistled met Charlie since he thought Charlie was gonna be a fella.
    But then again everyone presumes Charlie is a fella since she's part of the construction crew.
    Her dad asks if she can stop at Mercys on her way home and give him a quote for some jobs he wants doing.
    That's when Whistled first sets his sight on her but he knows there's something wrong when talking to her he knows an abused woman when he meets one.
    Slow n steady wins the race, all Whistler wants to do is protect those who he loves.

    Charlie's husband has other ideas
    It's a race against time to save his family for Wesley tho.

    I am always left reeling after reading a K.L Savage story because these authors are never afraid to go for the jugular. Their stories are brutal, dark and full of suspense but they always manage to encase them in a bewitching love story. Whistler and Charlie's story is at the top of my bewitched scale. It wouldn't be a K.L Savage story without it being extremely hot, but the story of this couple has the fire sizzlingly for a while, but non the less that build up is extremely hot.

    Whistler is a goner from the moment Charlie steps out of her car, but from the bruises he spots, he knows there is more going on in her life than she says. Whistler is only too familiar with this as he has seen it enough times in his sister's life. Whistler knows he should stay away, but he can't stop the pull he feels towards Charlie. Charlie has never had a man look at her the way Whistler does, but she knows she needs to keep her distance. The more Whistler delves into Charlie's life the more he uncovers. Truth, lies and danger are just around the corner in this must-read dark MC romance.

    Once again, these authors deal with dark themes so I will put a warning out there, as Charlie is a dangerous controlling marriage, you will get to read a bit about her history.

    Although the start of Whistler wasn't K.L's usual "get in and rip your heart out from the beginning",it was action packed from the get go! Whistler has looked out for his sister Taylor and tried his hardest to protect her from the badness in this world...and then from the first encounter of his "Cupcake" Charlie,his protectiveness reared its head once again,but he wasn't sure why,until it became cometely apparent that Charlie was living her fair share of demons and a hell of a life courtesy of her husband.
    Charlie came across as a strong willed and vivacious woman,but it was a front of "another" side of her which broke me from the beginning.
    Secret upon secret came to the surface throughout the book, and with the help of Whistler and the rest of the Hell hounds,she works towards getting back to her old self.
    There are once again plenty of happy,plenty of hotness,and plenty of raw emotion that K.L are experts at putting across in the series. Bring on more!!!!! Five 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

    *there is quite a few moments of domestic abuse,so be warned if this is a trigger*

    Since biting the metaphorical bullet and finally reading my first of this author's work last month, I was desperate for more. And Whistler did two things, it filled the void AND left me hungry for more. There's very serious subject matter handled in this, but it's so tastefully handled and the instant connection between Whistler and his Cupcake really filled my black heart with butterflies. Charlie is so darn strong considering what she went through. Not that Whistler had an entirely easy life. GAH, I loved this so much. It was so cute. It was so beautifully written and I fell madly in love with Whistler and Cupcake so darn fast my head spun, honestly. I can't wait for more from the Hellhounds. I volunteered to read and review an early copy of this. All opinions are my own. **Warning, there's mentions and depictions of DV in this so be careful if that's a trigger**

    This is the second book in this series today. They should be read in order. The story is about Whistler and Charlie. Whistler knows about abuse. His sister always picks the wrong guys because she just wants to be loved. Charlie and Whistler meet when her father’s company are redoing the club’s bar. He knows right away that something is going on. He can’t seem to stay away. He wants to help her and protect her. Her husband isn’t who he pretends to be to everyone. Charlie knows right away that Whistler could help her and part of her wants to let him help her. But she knows what her husband is capable of. Whistler be able to help Charlie? If he can what will the cost be? Someone like Charlie’s husband doesn’t let go easily and he isn’t on the up and up. The club will have to decide how far the are willing to go to save Charlie. This book is a great read. It may have triggers for some. I loved it so much. I can’t wait for K.L. Savage’s next book.

    Holy smokes!!! How do I even begin to describe how much I love this book?

    This latest addition to the KL Savage world stars the most perfect book boyfriend ever - Whistler (Wesley) and one of the best heroines I’ve read in quite sometime- the incomparable Charlie. These 2 separately are incredible characters who make you love them deeply but together??? Wow!!! They are firmly in my top 5 couples ever.

    Whistler loves with his whole being and Charlie is the recipient of that all encompassing love. With that kind of support, Charlie remembers who she is in her soul and is able to soar and give Whistler all that love in return.

    We get to learn more about the hilarious and completely dysfunctional (but in the BEST way) family that make up the Ruthless Hellhounds. I absolutely cannot wait for each of their stories to unfold - we get a pretty good idea who the next couple will be and I am totally here for it.

    We also get to visit some more with Mercy who is the Prez and the star of his own previous book. And have Mercy on me but the tears this man rips from my soul continue (again, only in the very best way). This book is another phenomenally mind-blowing addition to the world that KL Savage keeps drawing us into!!!

    A steamy and sweet installment in the Ruthless megaverse! Whistler is smitten with Charlie the moment he sees her. He becomes obsessed with saving her from her abusive husband, and protecting her–no matter the cost!
    It’s been a while since I’ve read a book by KL Savage (I was caught up for about a month haha!) and while I didn’t remember the details from the first book in this spin-off series, I was able to jump in and enjoy the story regardless. I’m also pretty excited about some of the other guys in this new MC and reading their inevitably adorable, yet kinda gruesome love stories!

    There's lots of word choices errors, and the end feels sort of rushed, but it's a good read overall. I like the FMC and love the MMC. The side characters are all interesting enough to want to get to know.
