    This is KL Savage at their best. I’ve said it before, this is a must read series!

    I’ve been sucked into the Ruthless world once again, as their story continues to evolve. Just when you think there’s no where else to go, out comes a release like Mercy and a whole new chapter.

    “My soul has woken up and it is screaming at me that she’s meant to be mine.” - Andrey & Michelle.

    This isn’t just Andrey’s story. It’s his only love, Michelle and their daughter Daphne’s backstory. As young friends to lovers, told predominantly during his leave, a childhood friendship is finally acknowledged by 21 year old Andrey and 18 year old Michelle. Their third wheel, ever faithful Brandon, along for the ride so to speak. Andrey’s true devotion to Michelle continues long after she inadvertently moves on with her life, believing him lost.

    Sadly we view a history of multi generational parental and spousal abuse in Michelle’s life. Her survival and strength exhibited by these women, to keep safe the ones they love is emotional to read. Like the men who love and protect them from afar, their story needs to be told.

    “This woman has crawled under my skin and attached herself to my bones-no-to my soul.”

    This quote says it all when delving into the Ruthless Kings. They live and love hard and Mercy is no exception. I’m in awe every time I open a KL Savage read. Stunning cover, the gorgeous Wander is seriously Mercy personified. Brilliant choice as always. The content is believable and addictive.

    Andrey’s journey will break your heart. I feel privileged to have read their story. Like Chaotic before it, Mercy is a must read, be warned, this is gut wrenching and emotive.

    If im been honest as to weather or not i like this book, i would have to say its just ok. Because really im not a fan of a whole book/story going back in ones life and it just ending as it did. Is there a second book to this, well i hope so. It would be nice to think that he got his HEA at some stage. And as for been in his daughters life i really felt sorry for his character to go though that. In fact his character has gone though alot of stuff and despite me just thinking that it was ok, i have given it a four star because we really are still left hanging and i really hope this author has plans for a second in the series.

    Mercy is the first book in the new Ruthless Hellhounds series by K.L. Savage and boy is it a heartbreaker. Having read the previous series, you would have been introduced to Mercy and Michelle who are Daphne’s parents. Well, this is their story and it’s going to give you all of the feels!

    This book takes us into the past as we see the development of Mercy and Michelle’s relationship, going from friends to something more, which is full of hot and steamy passion. To make the story even more complex are the challenges that are thrown in the way for both of them which shows their strength as a couple and also as individuals. Alas, we know that this story is going to be a heartbreaker, so get your hankies ready as you’re going to need them!

    There isn’t too much I can say without giving away the story. Just know that once you start reading, you’re going to binge read this beautifully written book.

    This wonderful book was filled with so much love, friendship, loyalty, sadness and heartbreak that it brought tears to my eyes a few times. There is also something very wrong here...SPOILER. After all the evil things Heath has done to Michelle, her mother, Brandon, Mercy's mom & dad....it makes ZERO sense that Mercy just leaves him with Daphne and leaves town.

    4.5 Stars I haven't read much of this author duo's work but it seems it's emotional but punch every time. And here in Mercy's story it's a one two punch. Not only is he in pain over the love of his life (Here we get Mercy and Michelle's story but there's not a HEA for them unfortunately) but he's always struggling with what's happened to his daughter. (I've not read about her yet but it seems like it'll be a lot, emotionally) Its so beautifully written and heart achingly sad that Mercy and Michelle only got 10 weeks together, but he will never ever forget her and he will never give up until he has some kind of relationship with his daughter and man...that's love.

    I have to say that I have been really curious about Mercy since he was introduced in the RKMC series, especially after learning about his connection with Daphne. This was a difficult story to read due to the heartbreaking tragedies that they all have lived through, the abuse that Michelle, her mother, and Daphne lived with most of their lives, the horrific tragedies that Mercy lived through, as well as finding out the truth after so many years. I know that his story is not complete just yet, and I really hope that he'll get his own HEA, not only in a partner, but with his daughter as well. I'm really looking forward to reading this awesome new series! It's a great addition to the Ruthless Underworld collection.
    It seems that the Ruthless Underworld is going to consist of several different series, and I really can't wait for more! If you haven't already read the Ruthless Kings MC series, it's definitely where you need to start. A lot of characters (including Mercy) were introduced in that series, and they also played important roles in those stories. If you want to have a better understanding of the characters, their connections, the different clubs/groups/etc, and the dynamics between them, I would strongly recommend that you read the RKMC series prior to starting any of the newer ones. Don't worry, every book in the Ruthless Underworld collection is absolutely fantastic, and you're going to love them all!
    I would definitely recommend this book, series, and exceptional author.
