What is not to love about this anthology? Stories from several authors all for a great cause? Sign me up! Just in time for Halloween as well.
I enjoyed each and every story but I must say that Voodoo Love by J.D. Hollyfield was my favorite of this collection. There was just something about it that made it so hard for me to put down. This story was so good that when it ended I wanted to cry. This could have easily been a full length book on its own and there is so much more I want to know.

An Anthology that is filled with twisted stories for my dark heart. Each story is fabulous in their own right. They are filled with drama, action, and suspense. Oh and lets not forget the spicy sexy time that will leave you fanning yourself a time or two. I mean seriously what do you expect with all these amazing authors! Review for Voodoo Love by J.D. Hollyfield

As soon as I was told the title for J.D.’s offering in this anthology I was making grabby hands at it and if you’re looking for a wicked read that will make you feel like you’ve gone on a voodoo ~ and then some binge in NOLA (or at least what I would like to imagine one would be) then this baby is a must read!
This baby may be a novella in length but it definitely packed a punch and I really, REALLY want more. It’s got a little bit of crazy, a little bit of spooky and a good dose of smexy that will keep you turning the pages to see just what will happen next and in the end? Well, maybe you’ll just end up believing.

Wow! What a collection! This is a group of stories from different genres, different levels of intensity and I really enjoyed the stories as I went. We have dark, PNR, arranged marriage... a great mix. I was pulled in to each one. Some seem to be complete standalones, some are a part of a bigger world, giving a taste of what is on offer. A definite must read for a great cause.

I enjoyed this story, it's a bit dark, has mystery and a very strong heroine, Carson. She's been in an accident, attacked, but we don't know details, we take the journey with her to discover what happened. It's a story I'd love to see more of, digging deeper, exploring and experiencing everything. I liked Krew and his connection with her.
Night Moves by CJ Pinard (PNR)
Oh I love the dynamic here, with Daniela, a vampire bounty hunter and Judson, the rocker, who lost his sister to a vamp. They have a pull towards each other and I enjoyed getting to know these characters.
Never Let You Go by Dani Rene
Well, this one definitely had me on edge. This has a very dark feel, leaving you wondering, curious and cautious. Creed is a mystery, his eyes on the new student in town, Micaela. When she receives an invitation to a party, everyone knows he's set his sights on her and that's it. Heart pounding energy. Keeps you guessing.
Voodoo Love by JD Hollyfield (Paranormal)
If it could go wrong for Katie, it was going to. When her best friend takes her on a quick trip to New Orleans to escape reality for a while, we escape reality with her. What a ride! It's intense, steamy and keeps you on the edge of your seat!
Can't Forget You by Kristen Middleton (thriller)
Holy smokes, this one is definitely intense, an edge of your seat thriller. Sophia is being stalked and there's these bit of dark, nail biting and gasping. My heart ached and fought along with her. Enjoyed this one!
Dead of Night by Lexy Timms
The story of Jane, in Germany to lay claim to a castle she is in line to inherit. The story has mystery, danger and heat. It kept me guessing!
Knight in Manhattan by M.C. Cerny (PNR)
Holy smokes! These vampire men are intense! I really like Bash, this strong pull he has to Jane after a chance encounter had me craving more. I liked the world that is set up here, the back and forth, his good and bad relationship with is brother... yikes! This was set up leaving wanting more.
A Very Avynwood Halloween by Michelle Dare (PNR)
This is a very interesting story with a lot of different characters, shifters, vampire and others. This one is part of a different series that has me curious about all of them. The story kept me on my toes!
Love In Pieces by Natasha Raulerson (scifi)
Wow! This is a very interesting take on Dr. Frankenstein and his creation. Lenore is a great character, I loved her twists, her questions and the draw to know more about her past. I really enjoyed this read.
Trace of Darkness by RB Hillliard (PNR)
Loved this one! I adore Diana, she's such a strong character. Her strength, her pain, her determination shows how amazing she is. And holy smokin hotness I love Zack! He's powerful, knows what he wants I loved every second of it! I was hooked from the start and I'm hoping there will be more from this world!
Bayou's Edge by Sarah M. Cradit (Paranormal)
I found this story very intriguing. A glimpse into a greater world with very interesting characters. I enjoyed the different view points, the different circumstances and learning bits about them all. Kieran, Elisabeth and Kelley... the things they've been through, are going through and how their lives twist around each other. Definitely gave me a taste!

I have read darker romances occasionally, but this anthology is worth reading every page. Each story is different in their own way, and I loved reading each one. I discovered several new to me authors and look forward to reading more of their books in the future. I would definitely recommend this series of stories to anyone who likes to read darker romances.

Wicked Love is wonderfully, fast paced collection of paranormal stories that are hard to put down. Excellent way to introduce yourself to some fantastic authors. Looking forward to reading more of my favorite characters from these authors.

This is an amazing collection of stories to delight the senses! One of my favorite authors, Lexy Timms, has an excellent murder mystery included! I discovered quite a few new authors to stalk also! ❤

I have to say I devoured this anthology. I am a fan of the darker stories with vampires and all things that go bump in the night so to speak. Trace of Darkness by RB Hilliard is unlike anything I’ve read by her. I was intrigued right from the start and got a bit of an Anita Blake vibe since Diana is a fierce officer with special talents. Throw in a hot vampire that she can’t stay away from and it makes for one interesting story. I look forward to reading the rest of the stories as they all sound so good!!

Love in Pieces- oh wow! Where do I start. I loved everything about this. Elinor was fantastic and I loved her spirit. I swear I could feel her curiosity, her love and her anger as the story moved along. The hot scenes were scorching! The AWAKENING she experiences towards the end lit me on fire!! And Mr.Sexy (I wont spoil with naming) but YUM! Natasha didn’t miss a beat with this one guys! Frankenstein like feel but in a Whole new way/experience!
Now to pick another story in here to read. (Hashtag YAY!)

This is a wonderful collection of stories! Perfectly in time for the season. It is filled with shifters, vampires, murder, mystery and mayhem plus a lot more! There are many stories in here that are a delight to read. I easily got lost in their pages. I do have more than a few favorites in here-
Night Moves by CJ Pinard is enjoyable and the characters are engaging. Funny at times with a bit of “what will happen next” in it. I can’t wait for more!
Never Let you go by Dani René. I Love, Love, Loved this one so much. It’s almost my favorite. The mystery and the suspense are literally pounding off the pages. Irish Mafia?! Yes please! I love each character once we find out more about them. I want more of this author and these characters.
Can’t Forget You by Kristen Middleton
Another standout in this book. Absolutely loved this one! The characters are great and the suspense is outstanding. I couldn’t stop reading this one. I will be checking out more from this author.

I was soooo excited to see this one in here. It’s almost like coming home. Those Verascue boys! I love reading/listening to them. They are fun and make me laugh. I can hear Troy Duran in my heard saying these words!

Overall this is a good purchase. Such a wide variety of stories there seems to be something for everyone. Necromancy, Voodoo, FBI, Vamps and Shifters. Short stories or longer ones take your pick. Erotica, historical, paranormal each one is ghoulishly enticing. This is one anotholgy that I enjoyed reading. All the stories were good my only downside was a few ended up in the air...so hopefully the author will complete or make a additional story in the future.

Reviewing Trace of Darkness by RB Hilliard
I don't want to sound repetitive but there are things that I must say.
I'm not a paranormal girl. It's an amazing genre for some but to me, it's not my cup of tea.
There is only one thing that can make me read it, and that the author.
And this is the case.
This book is a paranormal one and it's written by RB Hilliard. One of my favorite authors of all times so that's a huge reason for me. Lol
Her writing is raw and wild, sweet, and beautiful at the same time.
Trace of Darkness is her latest release and it belongs to the Wicked Love: Frighten Me collection.
This new book explores Diana's life.
Diana is a police officer that saw herself being transferred to the Paranormal unit after her partner had been killed in action.
Now she's in danger and her savior is a Vampire.
When I was having a blast... It ended...
Why? Why so soon? I wanted to keep reading.
Great plot, very well written, super dark and mysterious, to say the least.
I loved Diana, she's feisty and sassy.
There were parts of the book that I wanted to slap someone silly. Stubborn like hell. Dayum.
Then things would happen and I would lose the want to punish and gained the want to hold.
And guys... Hot stuff alert. Hell yeah.
Overall it was a great book that I hope we'll get more of.

RB Hilliard's novella of a instalust story/ suspense tale between a Vampire Lord and Police Officer in Charleston was a hell of a good time!
Diana is something known as a Sensitive who has just lost her police partner and been transferred to the Paranormal Division. She is lost between her desire to go back to her old department and defending her mind from her supervisor who is consistently teaching her to shield herself by attacking her mentally.
Lord Zacharias is a very old vampire in charge of the Charleston Seethe. He needs Diana to help him find out why his Nourishers are disappearing and turning up either dead or very badly injured.
This book was a giant head trip from the first page, I absolutely died laughing reading the rookie cops last name, leave it to RB to make him a laugh a minute as incompetent as he was with his sense of entitlement and air of "know it all" behaviour!
The suspense between the Paranormal Division, the shifters, the mind reading between Lord Zacharias and Diana was a ton of fun, and a whole new way for me to look at communication between Sensitive humans and Paranormal individuals!
I loved the descriptions of how it felt when Diana let her shields drop between certain vampires and the lead shifter!! The sex between Diana and Zacharias is off the charts HOT AF, and silky smooth at the same time! A fast paced, sexy four stars for RB Hilliard's Trace of Darkness, I'm going to need more of this for sure!

So this was a fun and naughty collection of short stories. I love anthologies because it is often like a little sampler platter of author works. Some of these authors were brand new to me and others I have read many stories from before. Maybe not so coincidentally the authors that I have read the most frequently are the stories that I enjoyed the most including JD Hollyfield and Dani Rene's stories.
There is something in this collection for everyone to find and enjoy from gray to dark. It is definitely worth the small investment to get to read a small sample of these author's work and get a sense of their style. Fingers crossed some of them will be expanded and become full length books and series of their own. Either way it was a wicked read!

OH MY STARS THIS COLLECTION IS EXCELLENT!!
My mind is still spinning after reading this amazing anthology, the stories are absolutely perfect in their own way but still match the overall "wicked" them of the collection. I like reading new authors that I have never heard of but also some of my favorites as well.
All in all, if you are looking for anything dealing with stalking, voodoo, trafficking, to vampires- this is a MUST READ COLLECTION FOR YOU! I give the overall collection 4.5 outta 5 stars and enjoyed reading the individual stories!

I love everything involving Halloween and things that go bump in the night, and this collection of stories was just PERFECT!! I love finding new authors, and the ones that I have read before I now love even more!!
I will have to say, I think RB Hilliard's contribution is my favorite!! It's unlike anything I've ever read from her, and I loved every minute of it!!
However I did enjoy every single story. Vampires, spooky twists, the heat and romance was just vaailtikry everything!! I can't recommend this collection enough. PLUS all the proceeds go to an amazing charity, so please one click this book!!

One thing i love with a well written story is when I feel totally immersed in the story. Natasha Raulerson did not disappoint! I experienced everything alongside Lenore and it was a crazy ride. To say I was hooked from the first chapter is an understatement!! I simply could not step one moment away from this short story. Paranormal is my fav.

If I had to chose and I was in the mood for mystery and spooks. Is Voodoo Love J.D Hollyfield
The open scene is Katie's parents 🤣 her cheat of a fiancee cheats on her during the dinner rehearsals. Dad find banging punches him the face then, mother dearest slaps the woman that was going down on !!

My review is for Never Let You Go by Dani Rene...
Creed is an enigma. He is dark and mysterious and marches to the beat of his own drum. He seeks out Micaela, a new student in his town, and makes it his mission to make her his. Creed always gets what he wants. This story was very cloak and dagger, hang onto your seat of your pants suspense.

This is a collection that is going to have you salivating for more! Wicked Love brings you all the spooks this Halloween season and I can't help but want this year round. An excellent collection of stories that filled my little dark heart with all the spooky!
Voodoo Love is hands down my favorite! I sunk quickly into the lore of New Orleans and fell madly in love with Macareus and all the mystery he encompassed. Revenge, heat and Voodoo collide to make this a story you won't forget!

When I read voodoo love I found it so mysterious, I couldn't help but to be pulled in. It felt sexy and tempting. Katie has had the worst luck but a visit to New Orleans might be the cure to rid her of her demons. It's intriguing because you will wonder "is she wicked?" Will she always have a connection with the mysterious man she meets? The short story is certainly a great adventurous treat making you feel like if put in her position, you would make the same decisions.

I can't even describe this. I like dark stories but I usually stay away from horror but when you mix that in with the romance, I just couldn't resist. The stories here will have you gasping, wide-eyed, and smiling all throughout. They're amazing. I discovered some new authors too and now I want to read it again on Halloween.

I have very strong feelings regarding anthologies. I either love them immensely or I dislike them. Usually anthologies don’t have enough content for me and feel rushed. I have to say it was the opposite for this one. This was nice and controlled. I didn’t feel rushed. It flowed so easily. Going from one story to the next felt like getting a whole new book.

I have read darker romances occasionally, but this anthology is worth reading every page. Each story is different in their own way, and I loved reading each one. I discovered several new to me authors and look forward to reading more of their books in the future. I would definitely recommend this series of stories to anyone who likes to read darker romances.

Such a great way to spend a day reading. I got this anthology because of Michelle Dare. She writes these amazing stories about Paranormals. I absolutely loved A Very Anvywood Halloween. Michelle did an amazing job and now Solomon is the winner. Woohoo!!!!

It never fails, every single time I swear I won't read another anthology, along comes one with an author I don't want to miss. So here I am again. Wicked Love is a collection of unrelated stories by different authors. This is a collection of sometimes twisted tales. These stories range from human trafficking to paranormal vampires to stalkers through voodoo and murders in mansions and everything in between. These stories are loaded with drama, humor, sizzle, action and suspense. I enjoyed reading this collection, some stories are better than others. This collection is an entertaining read, especially if you like parnormal romance.

Wow!!! to say this is a novella, its got everything you need and my god its left me wanting more.
I was hooked from the first page, its got a little crazy,and alot sexy that kept me turning the pages never knowing how it was all going to turn out.
Highly addictive and 1000%recommended.
