Five Days Until You (One Week Girlfriend Quartet Book 5) Kindle Edition

4.4 out of 5 stars 265 ratings

Unsure. That's how I'm feeling about my entire life. Just when everything's good and I have it all under control, my girl Chelsea decides she's going to leave me for the summer. Despite my disappointment, I have to support her. It's what she wants, an opportunity she can't say no to and no way will I be the one to stop her. I love her too much to hold her back.

Opportunities are happening for me too, though. A big one that my brother-in-law Drew says I can't pass up. I'm working extra hard. So is Chelsea. It's like we don't have any time to get together. We keep making the same promise--only five more days until we see each other again. But we keep breaking that promise. Is our relationship strong enough to survive all of these changes?

**FIVE DAYS UNTIL YOU continues the story of Owen & Chelsea from FOUR YEARS LATER. Plus includes a BONUS holiday story featuring Drew + Fable! Also, read chapter one of FAIR GAME, the first book in Monica's new NA series The Rules coming May 12th!**

I had no idea that Owen and Chelsea had their own novella out. The One Week Girlfriend series is one of my absolute all time favourites. Drew and Fable are in my Top 5 book couples but let me just say....Owen and Chelsea are not far behind. I had read the Christmas short story so it was nice to read the reason behind Owen and Chelsea's difficult Summer. Fantastic writing and some of the best characters I have ever had the pleasure to read about. I so hope there is more to come........(btw, interesting to see Shep and Tristan Prescott getting an appearance.....if you haven't read Fair Game , you really really should).

This series is one of my most favourite ever. I adore each book and every character that I have met along the way and as soon as I discovered that Monica Murphy had sneakily released a new novella to the series, I couldn't wait to get the chance to be reunited with the "One Week Girlfriend" gang.

This instalment is mainly focused on Owen and Chelsea as they continued to make their relationship work whilst dealing with the problems that were put in their way, problems that were caused by both Owen and Chelsea's career plans. After the couple made the decision to be apart for the summer, they had to overcome all of the complications that were caused from having a long distance relationship.

I loved this next chapter in Owen and Chelsea's story. It was a really sweet novella that not only featured the couple but I was also given a few glimpses into what was happening between Drew and Fable. I really do love these characters, so to be given the chance to take a peak into their lives again was like catching up with old friends. If you are a fan of this series, you will not be disappointed.

As well as Owen and Chelsea's story, this book also contained the Christmas story that involved Drew, Fable, Owen and Chelsea. I have actually read this short story before, however I couldn't turn down the opportunity of a re-read! If you haven't yet read this one, you are going to love it.

Five Days Until You is a sweet novella giving us more of Chelsea and Owen. It portrays the realistic struggles of the young couple as they navigate their individual futures without giving up on each other.

If you read the bonus Christmas short Monica posted on her website last year, then this novella fills in some of the gaps and explains how Owen and Chelsea got to that point.

Monica’s writing is easy to fall in love with as usual and even though we didn’t glean a lot of new information from this book, we did get introduced to a few of Monica’s new characters from her upcoming series.

If, like me, you devour any new material you can from the One Week Girlfriend series then it’s worth the 1Click. ~Ava

I have just so enjoyed this most romantic and most wonderful series Drew and Fable no 4.5. This most amazing and unbelievable story, Five Days Until is the brand new instalment and discovery of romance with Fable's brother, Owen. All that Fable ever wanted was that her brother would end up his life as happy as both she and Drew. This is the love story between Owen and Chelsea.

Owen is worried. Finding time to spend with Chelsea is so difficult. They just both need so time off over the holidays. They both have to make decisions together now. Knowing that she would have to go away to study. Owen wants the best for her too. Chelsea realised that she could be strong enough to go. It was for the best for the both of them. She knew he loved her!

I ultimately loved this most beautiful romantic story. This book was my all time favourite of this wonderful series, by my all all time fav author, Monica Murphy!!

    * I recommend this book to everyone.

It was nice to ha a continuation of these two’s story. Chelsea of course is still a bit immature but she is good for Owen and vis-a-versa. There are crossover characters from other stories which was fun too. Well worth the read

4.0 out of 5 stars Owen and Chelsea's Story

My Thoughts: This book takes place after 4 years later. Owen and Chelsea are going strong. Once in a lifetime opportunities arise that put a slight strain on their relationship. Owen gets the chance to take his football career to a professional level and Chelsea gets transferred to a dorm to take her education to the next step. They're both afraid of what's to come, but together they pull through. Their relationship matures and grows for the better. I enjoyed reading Owen and Chelsea's story.
