    Absolutely loved this book & all the characters. From start to finish I was engrossed & didn't want to stop reading. Then, as the end got nearer I wanted to stop because I didn't want this dark at times & beautiful love story to finish. I have read every single book Maria has written & she just gets better & better. Can't wait for more from this amazing author.

    "I'll always protect you, I'll always put you first and I'll always love you. You're my forever for always".

    Words from our hero Issac and my favourite part of the book. This story I well named as it is twisted and heartbreaking.

    I took a while to read it so it didn't hook me how I thought it should have however, still an action packed loved story.

    First heart break, hidden secrets and angst are just a few of the ingredients in this story.

    I loved this story and characters so much , I love the darkness at times and then everything in between I was hooked from first page til last I didn't want it to end , Maria's writing gets better and better each new book she writes and this certainly doesn't disappoint , 5 big stars from me

    This was a my first book from Maria MacDonald and boy, it tackled a legal but mostly taboo topic.

    Olivia is one hot ball of mess, making all the mistakes in life because she really can't function with one thing....Isaac. He totally throws her everyday ability for function, live and breathe.

    Isaac sacrificed a lot for Via and he thinks by steering clear, he's doing the right thing. And he has his own secret to protect. His only problem is Via, her route of twisted pain and that he has to save her, to be there.

    The book was full of emotions, mixed opinions, angst and a lot of love. The book does come with a warning. It is a book filled of secrets and deceit but you find yourself totally intrigued and submerge into the lives of 2 complicated people.

    I really enjoyed the book and would pick up another from the author without hesitation. I read this book on behalf of 3 degrees of fiction.

    I have read all of Maria's books and this one was another 5 star read. I loved the darker side and constantly left me wanting more. Loved Olivia and Isaac and so will you. You really need to read this book

    Fantastic read, a total must if you have read the Entwined Series.
    A first in novellas, this one is about Olivia and Isaac
    Isaac has been in love with Olivia since they were kids but when she starts dating things go very wrong for him and Olivia.
    Lots of things keep getting in the way but all they really need to do is tell the truth.

    This book has blown me away.
    I could not put it down!
    It has drama, suspense, angst and some hot scenes too......
    The main characters are both individually strong in their own way and you are willing for them all the eay through.
    Eith twists and turns the whole way through you will be om the edge of your seat reading this 5* read!
    I cannot wait for book two......

    There are some authors whose writing you love so much it wouldn't matter if they were writing the instructions for flat pack furniture you know it would be so well written it would suck you in. Maria has become one of those authors for me. Her new book pulls you in from the first chapter and whilst setting up the back story of the characters it has you laughing and connecting with them straight away. [ 76 more

    You know, there is always one author out there who you desperately wish more people knew about. An author that gives her all to her words, her stories and her characters. An author whose books are brilliant. Maria MacDonald is that author for me.

    I have read every book of Maria’s so far, fallen fast and hard for characters she's penned and stories she's slaved over. Only, with Twisted Truth, Maria demolished all her previous works and produced something way above anything she's ever written before.

    Twisted Truth follows the next generation of characters we know and love from the Entwined Hearts series. Twisted Truth is a complete standalone and you can totally get by without reading those books. But you should, because they're good! Anyway, Twisted Truth is Olivia & Isaac’s story, and these two are stunning. I love a good friends to lovers book. Couple that with an intense second chance romance and some heart pounding angst and well, I've found me a winner.

    I was helpless, unable not to be drawn into Mr. Isaac James, he was everything I want in a romance, alpha-hero. This guy also has an edge, a dark, animalistic, gritty edge that added so much suspense and mystery to the story. His relationship with Via, his protectiveness and possessiveness over her left me all hot and bothered and a little, okay a LOT, needy!

    Twisted Truth is a novel that captivates and consumes. It’s not an easy, breezy read. No. There is so much to this, so much emotion and passion. From beginning to end, I did nothing but FEEL! The connection was there. The passion was there. The intensity was there. Everything was there and it was delivered beautifully!

    Overall a great story of mysterious proportions from missed opportunities to unexplained disappearances. What would you do if the love of your life was your first cousin (adopted)? For Olivia and Isaac it’s a tumultuous back and forth before they can lay down their swords and stop fighting each other and let love conquer. My only issue is that I wasn’t aware this is a second generation series which almost feels we’re missing some of the background information to feel more invested.
