4 1/2 stars **** 1/2

The second story in this series, I enjoyed the connection the reader develops with the characters. This can be read as a stand-lone, but I am a firm believer in keeping it in the series, the ways the author intends. Caleb and Nicolas instantly have chemistry. Being a shy home body Nicolas finds confidence in Caleb's love and support. Caleb finds a home, a purpose if you will in Nicolas. This is a sweet, Hot and steamy story.

I liked this ok. I don’t mind instant love, but these two were kind of obnoxiously sweet. The book was way too much telling, and very little story. There was almost no conflict. The last half of the book was one pretty boring day after another and lots of sex.

I got this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

Now I went in with a good vibe for this book because I love book with shy characters who bloom because of love. I was fond of Nicholas from the start, Caleb quickly grew on me the more he was a gentlemen and didn't play the heavy musclebound stereotype. I like that everybody wanted to be there for the plane banner proposal. This is my first time reading Laura and I was worried a bit coming into a series in book 2 because I wasn't sure how much might have rested on the first book. I enjoyed it without ever feeling like I was lost because I didn't have the background of book 1. Also while this was set in Australia I rarely felt at a lost on the language because most of the time they didn't devolve into typical Australian slang. but the glossary helped out the few time they used local slang for color.

A good book and I might have to look into book 1 in my limited spare time.

Time For Love (Timeless Love #2)
by Laura N. Andrews

Time For Love was my very first Laura Andrews book I have read, and I am slightly impressed. I love m/m have for many years now, and I am always slightly apprehensive when I start a newbie author to me, I’m always like err another one trying. I know rough and tough but it is true, sometimes I feel like some are just writing it because they see $ figures or like maybe they are thinking well so and so is writing mm so I am tots going to as well. I have all these mixed feelings when starting something new and out of my little bubble, but I was impressed. I am super happy that I read this book, I really enjoyed it.

Giving it a 4 out of 5 stars.

You enjoyed it so much, and did not give it 5 stars? why?
Because when I got to about 70% roughly give or take some pages, I was ready for it to be over, I felt that the story was done. I think by adding all the stuff that happened from then onwards wasn’t necessary. But this is my own opinion, as I agreed to review an early copy for my own thoughts.

I am freaking adoring Nicolas and Caleb; the chemistry was the perfect blend of sweet and sexy that literally ignites the pages. I love how they meet, I love how they just know they are soul mates from their first encounter.

And wasn’t that the hottest scene, Hello epic bj goodness!

“I want everyone watching us right now to know that we’re together. That you’re with me.”

I loved that this can be read as a standalone, because that is what I have done. I am super excited to another book by Laura. Just from reading this one.

I like the other characters in the series, at one stage I wasn’t too keen on Nicolas best friend she seemed to have her own issues, I’m assuming she could be the next in the series to get her own story. I loved his roommate, and the closeness all his friends have like a family.

I love Caleb! Oh, man did I ever, I love his attitude to life and just him in general he was the perfect guy for Nicolas, as he is shy and withdrawn. But together amazing, there relationship grew over time and I loved how they got to know each other, out of both Caleb was my fav. lol for obvious reasons ❤ He’s hella HOT! Caleb is half Maori, half Aussie … YUM!!!

“When my eyes fall to see my pale hand resting on his dark chest, I take in the contrast of our complexions…”

I love that this is Inst-Love;it’s my jam. It is the perfect sexy read. It is written well enough that its believable and they are truly perfect each other. I love stories where there isn’t hardly any drama or unnecessary angst… unfortunately, there was only one little hiccup and it was dealt with in a couple pages, thank goodness. And that I think this should have been shorter then what it is. I really think Laura has a way to draw us in with her characters and writing, like I’ve said this makes me excited to make me want to read more from her.

I kind of want to know what will happen with them in the future, I really love their relationship.

4 solid stars.

One little thing, it would have been cool if the cover represented the characters more…

Wow . . . This was . . . I love Nicolas and Caleb!
This is book #2 in the Timeless Love series but is most definitely able to be read as a standalone.

Now, you should never leave a bad taste in someone's mouth, right? So let's get to why I didn't give this a 5 star when I did enjoy and love it, then the good stuff.

This is the 2nd book I have read of Laura's and I hate that I now have the reverse reason to take a star away, ironic, right? :(
In Laura's first M/M (Forever You) I felt the story was too rushed and missing, that it was a novel sized story that was crammed and missing some things to make it fit into a novella size and I was totally bummed because just like this one, I love that story.

Well, this one is the opposite. This feels like it should have been a novella, there were things that were unnecessarily overextended or unnecessarily added in (while the important part was only brushed over) in what feels like just to make the word count.

Now that is not to say I didn't enjoy this story. I really did love Nicolas and Caleb, and that is seriously my only fault.
I still flove ya Laura!

Alright, let's get on to the awesomeness!

Nicolas Edwards is the shy and quiet aspiring author who prefers to stay in and work on his PNR novel. He has insecurities left from his asshole cheating ex-boyfriend, so when his gorgeous best friend, Katie drags him to a club, The Lair, he is severely out of his comfort zone and that is before the douchebag bouncer causes a scene that catches Caleb's attention.

Caleb Roimata, the gorgeous, assertive, and in control owner of The Lair who just so happens to have a few secrets up his sleeve.
After seeing the altercation between Nicolas and the bouncer, he is instantly attracted to him and uses it as a way to meet Nicolas.

From their first encounter, you can see that each is completely smitten by the other. And dayum, things between these two get hot and steamy super fast!

This is a total insta-love kind of read, and it really works for them, it's believable. They are perfect for each other.
Caleb gives Nicolas the confidence and comfort to come out of his shell and be 100% himself and Nicolas gives Caleb the love and "home" he has always wanted.

But as things progress and they get to know each other, Caleb's past threaten to spill into his perfect life with Nicolas.
Can a broken hearted Nicolas forgive Caleb when the truth is revealed and get their HEA? You will have to read it to find out ;)

Thanks to the author and goodreads for a free copy of Time For Love!

This book is sweet and with an incredible amount of chemistry. I love the characters -- particularly Nicholas -- and found them all to be well-developed and believable.

And it's worth mentioning that even though this is the second book in a series, it also works well as a standalone. This was the first Laura N. Andrews book I've read and I didn't feel as though I was missing any information.

If you're interested in MM, give this one a shot!

This book was provided to me for free by the author in exchange for an honest review. It is actually the second book of a series but I haven’t read the first one (which I definitely will do now) and still could follow easily.
Review contains spoiler!
Actually, this is exactly the kind of “love at first sight”-story I love to read. Two humans get to know each other – fall in love – get to know each other better, reveal the secrets of their past to each other and struggle through daily life together helping each other to develop without many moments of great angst or splitting up (well not really spitting up… 😉)
Also, the story is written in the present tense, which I enjoyed. In former times, this was kind of disturbing for me and I didn’t like it, maybe because I hadn’t been used to it. But the more stories I read written in that way the more I like it. It somehow gives me the feeling that I’m experiencing everything together with the protagonist.
So, you’d think I should have given five stars but there are three things I have to criticize.
The first thing is that there are too many sex scenes at the beginning; at least for my taste. I mean, don’t get me wrong – I like reading those scenes if they are well written and the author really didn’t do a bad job describing them. But at the beginning I somehow had the feeling that there is one love-making scene after the other and they aren’t doing anything else the first days… at least it seemed like that to me. I totally get that when you are freshly in love you want to have much sex but I somehow missed the development or action. I really was thinking of putting the book away. I’m glad I didn’t do it then, because it really turned out to be a good story at the end. But nevertheless I didn’t quite like the beginning.
That leads me to my second point to criticize. The narrator mentions having sex nearly every day he describes and also mentions quite often that he thanked Caleb with a BJ for something. I mean yeah, great, but do you really have to tell about all the times you did this and besides can’t you just accept a gift in a relationship without returning a reward?
Before I come to my third point to criticize I have to state I’m totally into love at first sight. Why not have sex at the first date (well not as often as they did *lol* but okay we had this one…)? Seriously, I’d never say things like the two men do if it were my first date. Maybe on the third or fourth date if it’s really love at first sight for both, but not the moment I first meet the other person. This really disturbed me somehow.
I would have preferred the getting to know part to last at least three dates. Or it could have been told in a kind of flashback involving the first dates. I mean I totally get that the author wanted to state that it was love at first sight but for me it would have worked better if the narrator clearly would have pointed that out. Those sentences like “…Your are mine”, “…We are together…” didn’t convince me at all.
Finally my last point: The story is told in first person, which is not a bad move, but then the narrator refers to his partner so often as boyfriend or to his best friend as best friend, when he thinks about them… That somehow disturbed me because when I’m thinking of these people in real life I recall them by their names. Maybe when looking at my husband or after him, I’d think omg I’ve got a sexy hubbie but not when thinking of him or what he is doing at the moment or stuff like that.
So, although as you see I had to criticize quite a few points I really liked the story or at least finally after the getting to know part was over. This part weren’t bad as well if it had gone over more than two days. But then the book turned out to be really good. And I really loved the second part, the development of Nicolaus, which is just awesome. I also liked how everything turns out in the end. It’s really romance – love – passion. Being there for each other and fighting for each other. That’s why I rated it with four stars at the end.
So, if you love romance and you’re not into this whole couple finding – splitting – finding again stuff then you definitely should read this book.

Heads up: this is part of a series, and I saw that the first book is m/f, but this one—at least for me—was fine being read as a stand-alone. Though the characters from the first story were in this one, and there were references here and there to what probably happened in the first book, I didn’t feel like I was missing out on anything while reading Time for Love.

This is one of those stories that is believable in the way that it follows what could be a real life couple, and the author did a great job in creating realistic situations and conversations. The story starts the night Nicholas and Caleb meet, where they have instant chemistry, and then continues to follow their journey in dating and entering a committed relationship.

Told in first person present tense from Nicholas’ perspective, we get to experience the butterflies of meeting that someone new, and all those excitable and scary feelings a person goes to while they take those tentative steps in dating and falling in love. Nicholas is a sweetheart, if a little too self-deprecating at times, but it helped make him more realistic as a character. Since its mainly his perspective, I felt more of a connection to him than Caleb, but that is to be expected in this style of writing.

Caleb was a harder connection for me. He was perfection to Nicholas, and seemed to not be able to do any wrong (except for a minor hiccup which is pretty quickly remedied). I sort of wish he was a little more flawed. But at the same time since I was experiencing him through Nicky’s eyes, and time skips sometimes weeks and months, with its focus on the sweet moments of their progressing relationship more than on any of the negative parts of a relationship. It makes sense in a way. Though I will admit it was a little daunting reading what a “gentleman” Caleb was, and that was the exact term used for him at least fifteen times (repetitive description words like that happen to be one of my pet peeves, so it stuck out).

Mostly this story just follows their relationship from initial meet until HEA is established, while they date and get to know each other—dinner, gym time, meeting friends and family, their moments of insecurity while finding their footing and the realization of their growing feelings. The story was perhaps slower in pace because there wasn’t anything really lurking in the background, no major drama stewing beneath the surface; instead, it’s a lovely journey to love. Both characters bring out the best in each other, which I adore seeing in relationships. They don’t try to change the person, individually, but being around each other causes them both to mature in different ways, and it was a treat.

For those who want a relatively angst free book to jump into, this would be totally recommended. There were two minor dramatic scenes, but they were little relationship hiccups, which are pretty common, and they were quickly resolved and worked through with communication. There was also another situation which causes a wee bit of drama externally, but it had very little build up before it happens and, once again, was immediately worked through. I personally would have loved more of the buildup of something big, a climactic event that the story is leading up to, because drama is my jam, and I devour it with glee. Lighter stories like this are great, though, and there is definitely a time when I need to dial the seriousness and angst level down several notches and read something light-hearted like this, but I crave a bit more action most of the time. So, for me, by the time I was about eighty-five percent through the story, I was good, the rest was all gravy, but it could have stopped there for me and I would have been a happy girl.

The author did a great job of developing the characters, and starting the foundation for the next book in this series, which I am pretty sure is going to be about Nicholas’ best friend. I do plan on checking it out, because I have theories and I want to see the fireworks!

If you are a fan of relatively drama free, sweet love stories, pick this one up and give it a shot.

Time for Love was book two in the series and I am going to say that you do not have to read book one to follow this story cause this story was about Nicholas and I did not read book one and loved this story. You will fall in love with the characters and I especially love Katie, Nicholas BF. Talk about opposites attract when it comes to Nicholas and Caleb. You have a homebody who is quirky and a bar owner who loves to work out. Nicholas is shy and still is kinda healing from a failed relationship that involved being cheated on. When he meets Caleb at the bar due to an issue, he cannot believe that Caleb has an attraction to him. I don’t know what was hotter the instant attraction and room scene or the ending after your heart almost drops with a scare here.
I love when Caleb calls Nicholas “adorable, babe or baby” for some reason. I have no clue why it was so touching, but it felt like this sorta helps Nicholas who finally starts to see that little old him (OK young him) is worth it and that Caleb truly has it bad for him just like he has it bad for him. Will the feelings be just feelings or will they be able to have a go at a relationship once Caleb’s secrets are revealed? Only Time will tell. You not only fall in love with these characters, but you fall in love with the secondary characters too and I am excited to see where Katie is headed as well.
The passion between these two are HAWT! You will see that different personalities balance out each other when it comes to relationships including friendships and that HOME is truly where the heart is! I know they shoot for the other team, but I would love to be sandwiched between them at least once. Hahaha. I highly recommend this story if enjoy MM reads.

This is the second book in the series and it starts pretty much where This Time left off, so yes, I would say you should read book one before this as it would be a bit confusing not to.

So, This Time ended with Rosie and Nicolas planning on going out to a club, and hoping to find Mr. Right, or at least Mr. Right Now. Well they go and after a bit of trouble they finally get in, the owner of course having seen what the problem had been, comes over to make sure everyone is ok. Nicolas notices right off that Caleb is hot, but there is no way he would ever be interested in him. When Caleb makes it clear that, yes, he is interested in Nicolas and wants to learn more about him, the two decide to take a chance and start to learn more about each other, and realize that they do like the idea of them being an item. But there are secrets that have to be shared and pasts that need to be overcome and when it turns out that its Caleb that starts pushing Nicolas away, will they be able to fix what's wrong? Will Nicolas be able to convince Caleb that they are meant to be?

So I really like this series, I am already waiting to see who gets a book next! I do think this was a bit better than book one, as the author toned down the drama a bit, one or two major drama things in one book is ok, more than that makes it too much. With sexy times that were so freaking steamy, a cast of characters that make you giggle, this turned out to be a very good read and I give it 5 stars.

I was given a free copy of this book in return for an honest review.
Please note that this book is book two in a series but can easily be read as a standalone. I have not read book one.
I started reading ‘Time For Love’ by Laura N Andrews yesterday and finished it this morning. It was an easy book to read and generally I liked it.
I was very surprised when I realized that the book was set in Perth, Australia, and that it was written in Australian English. This shouldn’t deter anyone though as there is a glossary of terms at the start of the book and the story is very easy to follow.
Nicholas is small, shy and rather sweet. On a rare night out he meets, Caleb, a confident, successful business man of Australian/Maori heritage. This book is almost a case of insta-love. It is a nice story although both men have to overcome a couple of hurdles before they can be together.
The story is an enjoyable one and the writing is good even though the book is written in the present tense – something which does annoy me and which made it impossible for me to fully relax into it. This being said, at one stage I didn’t read any stories written in the first person but this is no longer the case.
I’m very happy to recommend this story and author.

Time for Love is book 2 in the Time for Love series. While I didn't read book 1 first and had no problems understanding what was going on, i'm sure book 2 would have been even better had I read them in order. I really enjoyed all of the characters that I got to meet and will definitely have to go back and read book 1 now.

This book focuses on shy Nicholas and how his world is turned upside down when he meets cocky , charming Caleb. The sparks fly between the two of them almost from the very first moment they meet. While Nicholas struggles to believe that someone as handsome and successful as Caleb could ever be interested in him we learn that Caleb isn't as perfect as he may seem.

This book was one that I could not put down. I was going through all of my emotions for sure and even on the edge of my seat with fear at one point. Trust me when I say you will not be disappointed!

A must read book for sure! - Alisa

Opposites attract.

A rare night out brings quiet and shy Nicholas to Caleb's club. The confident and successful businessman is instantly drawn to Nicholas and sets his sights on him, going after what he wants. Nicholas doesn't stand a chance and Caleb refuses to let Nicholas' insecurities get in the way. Caleb has a secret about his past that send Nicholas running for the hills.

I loved these two guys. Nicholas' shyness and insecurities made him oh so sweet and endearing. Whilst Caleb's confidence is the perfect contrast to Nicholas and I loved how Caleb wouldn't back down and wouldn't let Nicholas put himself down. Caleb is the perfect confidence booster.

Everything came together to create an incredible read and an incredible journey for these characters.

This was my first time reading Laura Andrews, but it won't be my last! I absolutely loved this cute, sexy, fast paced read. It kept me sucked in from the very beginning!

Nicholas meets Caleb on a rare night out and their chemistry is off the charts from the first glance. Nick's shy and quiet personality mesh together perfectly with Caleb's arrogant and charming personality. Of course things can't be perfect and something from Caleb's past comes back to haunt him.

Will they be able to weather the storm together? Will there still be time for love? One click to find out! Trust me it's worth it!

This was sweet in some ways [so I gifted it with an extra star, though the rating SHOULD be 1.5 stars] but in too many others, this was a complete and utter fail! Forgetting the fact that I absolutely HATE it when authors mix M/M and M/F books within a series, and then try to coerce you into reading the other books by either not answering questions posited within the storyline, or simply leaving you with a cliffhanger! BAD (read: stupidly transparent) move and it's a very quick way for this reader to abandon you as an author and then blacklist you, because fucking hell, don't do it!! If you want to mix, fine, you can do what you want anyway, but for the love of all that's holy, at least make each book a standalone!!!

Having said all that, there are SO many little time jumps here and it makes a reader feel like we're being dished one missed experience after another; this author clearly doesn't know how to wield a tool that can become incredibly obnoxious when approached with very rudimentary understanding, and this author did NOT know what she was doing! More to the point, the out-of-left field drama, delivered "just for the angst", was badly plotted, made ZERO sense, and was resolved [pretty much in the same breath] pretty pathetically! Lastly, for now, there was soooooooo much TELL and so little [try practically non-existent] show, and THIS broke the proverbial book camel's back!!

Look, if you don't know what you're doing, do not do it!! To put it bluntly, this book shouldn't have been written; it was a waste of time and previous reading moments, and as an added bonus, it was a waste of money!! This WAS free on Amazon for a period apparently - going by some reviewers mentioning as much - but I have to say, knowing what I know now, I'd have taken a hard PASS regardless!! Yes, it's that bad!!

P.S. What's with the constant eye-rolling ... for fuck's sake, authors [of the world], stop it, you're writing M/M for adults, and your MCs aren't a bunch of 10 year olds >:-o!!!!!

P.P.S. I convinced myself to remove the extra star because I decided the author just didn't deserve it!!!

I disliked this book. The story begins with the author telling you about a shy anxious hero who has a terrible life and then spends the rest of the book telling you about how it's the exact opposite because he suddenly met a guy and instantly changed into a different person. Then you learn that his terrible life isn't terrible at all and is basically perfect. His roomate, who is supposed to be a homophobic jerk is actually just a little bit of a jerk, his ex boyfriend apologies for breaking his heart and suddenly everything is ok, he has a supportive family who accepted his coming out like he was announcing his intention to cut his hair, it was all so perfect it was boring! There was no apparent reason for his so called anxiety or shyness problem and very little evidence he actually had a problem.

As for the main relationship, it was boring! No chemistry! The only conflict came out of the blue in the middle of the story and was resolved quicker than it took me to make a cup of coffee, and then the second half of the book was spent throwing in random scenarios that were also almost immediately resolved (perfectly, of course!) and added absolutely nothing to the main story. I use that word loosely too because from what I could tell, there was no story arc at all, it was just a bunch of random events thrown onto the page for no reason and linked together with random gratuitous sex that served no purpose.

My final complaint is that there was so much TELLING and not enough SHOWING and this was glued together with dialogue that was not only unrealistic for the general public, but also not at all in keeping with what you'd expect from a 20-something Australian male.

I normally try to balance a negative review with at least some positives but I honestly can't do that with this book.

This book was given to me in return for an honest review.

What to say about this book... I should've paid more attention to the blurb, because it foreshadows exactly what to expect: a very sweet, fluffy story. I'm more of an angst-fan, but there are fluffy stories that I enjoyed greatly. Unfortunately I didn't connect with the characters, probably caused by how perfect they were. Nicolas was shy, but sweet (like a puppy, actually, exactly like the puppy that played a role in the book), and Caleb was rich, handsome, sweet, and a beast in bed. The little darkness in his past had only made him a better man. They almost fell in love at first sight (which I'm not a fan of, and these guys who were so well in touch with their feelings and so open in discussing them it was unbelievable.
I know these are exactly the kind of men a lot of m/m readers like to read about, and this is exactly the kind of story that is loved by many. Only not by me.

So why three stars and not two? That is because this author has got the gift of writing sex. Woohoo, this was hot. The sex scenes managed to pull me back into the story every time I was about to give up. And that's a feat because I normally don't care much for the sex if I'm not into the book.

Time for Love is book 2 in the series, but it can be read as a standalone, which seeing as book 1 is MF, turned out to work well for me.

I liked Nicholas. He's shy and sweet, and very insecure about himself and his own worth. Since the book is told from his perspective, it's easy to relate to him. Unfortunately, I found it very hard to really connect with Caleb. First, he was very pushy, forcing an introduction with Nicholas, where he turned out to be his knight in shining armor. Second, he was arrogant and that was a bit off-putting. Third, while he seemed perfect on the outside (remember we're seeing him through Nicholas's eyes), the way Caleb dealt with an issue of his past, made it even more difficult to find him likable. Did they have chemistry? Eh, maybe? Thing is, that even if they were hot together, or some of the sex scenes were, I found it difficult to root for them as a couple because of Caleb.

The book, in general, was good. It was entertaining and the writing was good, I really liked Nicholas's friends, but I couldn't fully engage in the love story because of Caleb. Still, I'm sure others might find Time for Love more enjoyable than I did.

So this is the second book that I won in a giveaway and the second in the series

This book is about Nicholas, Katie's best friend from This Time.
Here Nicholas meets Caleb whom at first seems to be so different from him but as we know him we see that they're perfect for each other! They're helping one another when in need and they are so cute together!!!
I really liked this couple 😍

And I reaaaly hope Katie gets her own book. I want to know her story and of cource to see more of the rest of the team!!

Great job!!
Can read as a standalone but it'll make more sense in some parts if you have already read This Time

Caleb and Nicholas make for a remarkable couple. I always love a good HEA and the author has put together a perfect book. Laura knows how to weave emotions within her characters that make you think you are actually there listening to them tell their story. I can not wait to read more from this author.

Time for Love is a cute sexy read. I absolutely fell in love with the characters. Nicholas is a shy guy who would rather stay in and read than go out. After his last failed relationship he doesn't have much faith in ever finding his certain someone.

Caleb is hot and successful club owner. When a certain cute guy walks into his club he is definitely interested. These two are adorable together. Only problem, Caleb is holding a secret about his past.
Knowing he has to tell Nicholas he does worry their relationship will be over before it fully starts.

I really enjoyed this book. I did feel it moved pretty fast but it's a pretty great read. I really loved the characters and their story.

Time For Love (Timeless Love Book 2) by Laura N. Andrews

***4 stars***

This is book 2 in the Timeless Love series, but can definitely be read as a stand-alone. I’m new to the genre of M/M romance, but Nick and Caleb stole my heart for sure. It’s an insta-love story, but definitely works to their favor, and ours of course.

Nick is a very shy kind of guy, who has been burned in the past by failed relationships, which has caused him to shy away from dating. When he and his best friend Katie decide to hit the club one night, his whole world changes in the blink of an eye.

Caleb happens to be the owner of the club, sees a dispute happening with Nick and the bouncer, and intercedes. He’s sexy, mysterious and a definite alpha type compared to Nick. There’s an instant sexual attraction between the two of them, which leads into some sexy fun in the back office.
They fit together perfectly, and help each other with their separate insecurities. Nick grows in confidence, having Caleb by his side. He shows him love and affection, with a side of hot romance, while Nick shows Caleb there’s more to him then just his looks.

Things seem to be too perfect, which means there’s trouble around the corner. Caleb’s past comes back to haunt him, and may just mean the end to him and Nick. Can they figure it out together, or will it destroy the happiness they’ve built? Laura N. Andrews, being a new author to me, has me looking forward to reading more from her in the future.
