"Most beings have forgotten hat there is more to life that momentary happiness. They have forgotten that in order for a sword to be forged, it must be hammered into perfection. That's where I come in, to reminded them. And trust me; by the time I'm done with them, they will wish they had stuck with the hammer."

“No individual being is meant to exist and be split in two.”
Wow! This book was very good!! I didn’t know what to expect from Zeniel and Eve, but they did not disappoint at all. I really loved both of their characters and felt that they were such a good couple and had a good relationship throughout the entire novel.
Evesse was such a girl boss character I loved her. She deserved the world and I’m so happy she was slowly able to piece herself back together and experience a life she could love.I really liked how Eve was not a stereotypical push over soft character and instead stood up for herself and the people she truly cared for.
Zeniel was such an intense character and I absolutely loved the changes he went through throughout the series. He had to really find himself in the book and become one with Mavrak, his other side, which he did.
I loved the dynamic between these two just because since the first book the tension between these two was just SO good! I really loved how well they contrasted each other and well and with their new abilities so it was all around just so amazing to read a love story between these two. I could go on forever about how much I loved Eve and Zen honestly.
The plot of the book was SO interesting, and I literally couldn’t put the book down. It was so action packed but also the coupley scenes never disappointed. The author did such an amazing job at giving each character (and there were a lot) their own personalities that were so well suited for each of them.
While sometimes it was a little confusing on what was happening or I’d have to go back to the glossary and check what something meant it never made me uninterested but instead made me more eager to finish the book and find out what’s really going on.
Overall, Vengeance was an amazing part of the Ryze series that’ll leave you on the edge of your seat just wanting to explore the world of these characters more.
