Wrong but so right.
I was completely enraptured, caught up in the lives of Jude and Tor and the chaos around them.
Victoria is kidnapped, taken, handed over as collateral for her boyfriend's gambling debts until he pays up, only he never pays up.
Jude runs a gambling business, you don't pay you loose more than your money, he's a hard business man, an alpha male with an edge of darkness .
Jude isn’t in the business of taking people as collateral especially a woman, so when one of his goons brings Victoria back he is fuming angry but has no choice but to hold her in his home.
A twisted Web of lies and deceit, enemies and danger unfolds and as time goes on Jude and Tor's icy relationship begins to thaw.
Jude:
There are no f**g words for a woman who can soften a heart as cold as mine. I know there is not another woman that will make me feel this way. Nothing this wrong should feel this right.
Tor:
His proximity makes me shiver, and my heart skitters against my rib cage. Every fibre of me wants him, and I hate that I do.
Brilliant and captivating, gripping and raw finishing with a cliffhanger.
Wrong is part of a Trilogy told in dual pov's hot in all the right places, gritty and dark.
Soooo looking forward to Wrath.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 January 2017Nearly a fully qualified Dr Victoria has her life how she wants it, she has a good looking boyfriend who has a dark secret and then finds herself in the middle of a gang war. Kidnapped and held as collateral by Jude a very dark and violent man who could eventually kill her. She calls him a monster but I found it a classic beauty and the beast tale.
Good characters and dialogue, easy storyline worth a read if you like alpha males and raw storytelling.
Some strong scenes of violence and torture.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 April 2024This is the FIRST book in the series following Jude and Victoria, coming before WRATH, WIRE and WAR. A story of betrayal and kidnap with love thrown in to the mix
Now for my opinion - This author has me hooked! I was so shocked at how soon into this book that there was drama. I’m used to the slow build and then things happening. Nope. Not this time. It threw a ball and swung. I loved every moment. I bought this book as it was not available as a free book on KU. I then bought all the other books in the series! Mine! 🖤
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 June 2015I was really eager for this book to come out and i was not disappointed! I'm a huge fan of LP Lovell and new to Stevie J Cole (which i will be remedying soon!) and by this book they co-wrote really really well.
It was such a ride from beginning to end i don't know where to start! This book is based around two characters our anti-hero Jude who's a ruthless bookie who will do anything including torture and murder to get his debt paid. He also happens to be extremely hot!! Then we have the heroine Tor/Ria she's not your usual damsel in distress, she's tough and strong and stubborn and put's up an amazing fight! literally!
I won't give too much away but Tor/Ria is handed over as deposit for a debt which hasn't been paid and she ends up being a pawn in a much bigger game.
I absolutely f^*kin loved this book! It was fast paced and exciting and you never really knew where it was going to take you. By right's you should hate Jude but i just couldn't, there is something about him from the start and as the story goes on his character opens up and you get to see the man underneath and also what could have been if his life had turned out differently. He is definitely no angel! There were parts in the book where i wanted to slap my hand over Tor's mouth and tell her to shut up for her own safety. Unfortunately that's not possible so she kinda got herself into some of the trouble she found herself in. She is one of the feistiest female characters you will ever read. She really kicks ass in a stand up fight but again with her she is a much deeper character and there are lot's of layers to her.
There were times in this book i could physically feel the adrenaline pumping it's that good! Fight's, kidnappings, torture, death, hot hot hot sex scene's, funny moments, tender moments, drunk moment's, oh s*^t moments, it's all in there!.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone, just a warning there is a cliffhanger at the end but it's not a "ugh i gotta wait for another book" it's a "sh*&ting hell i can't wait for the next book!" I really can't bring it on!!

5.0 out of 5 stars I love how this book will keep you guessing
Wrong by Stevie J Cole and LP Lovell
Genre: Adult, Crime, Suspense, Dark Romance
Book 1 of 2: Wrong
Story Rating: 5 out of 5
Review:
Where to start? Wrong Wrong Wrong!!! This is a very dark story with characters that are as conflicting as they are dangerous. The story line is twisted, captivating, and addictive. The twists and turns will leave you spiraling out of control and hungry for more of the dark world that you have entered. Do not try to guess what happens next because this book will have you reeeling at the unexpected turn of events every time.
Victoria is a resident in training to be a doctor. Her life's work is to save lived. Her life is turned upside down when she is thrown into the midst of some very dangerous criminals and betrayed by her boyfriend. She finds herself conflicted as she increasingly becomes close to Caleb and attracted to Jude. Jude is anything but sensible, he is DANGER in all capital letters. His violence is shocking and the only way of life that he knows and the readers will watch as Victoria begins to lose her old self to this new intoxicating darkness. Everything that she holds right is turned upside down in this thriller and we watch as a rebirth takes place into the dark world of all that is Wrong. This is a ride that will take you into the dark world of Bookies, murder, twists and turns. When you think you have it all figured out you will be shocked by the next turn of the page. The betrayal, danger, lust, darkness, and the utterly Wrongness of it all will keep you on the edge of your seat wanting more. The biggest shock is the jaw dropping, heart pounding, cliffhanger at the end of this delicious ride.
I love how this book will keep you guessing, have your blood boiling, your heart racing, and your stomach turning. Stevie J Cole and LP Lovell did an amazing job with Wrong and you will find this an amazing read with a shocking cliffhanger that will leave your nerves frazzled.

4.0 out of 5 stars J'ai adoré

3.0 out of 5 stars I was expecting more
Not sure yet if I’ll read the next book. This one hasn’t exactly wowed me. I started it feeling really exited given the percentage of high rating, but unfortunately I lost my enthusiasm as I went on reading. Honestly, I’m not able to pin down and name the reason. Or the reasons. It probably was a combination of things, the most relevant one maybe being the MCs that I didn’t much like. Both characters and situations seemed a bit fake and unrealistic so the whole time I felt very detached from the story.
I’m afraid there’s no much more that I can say.
