I fell in love with a boy a long time ago.

I was only a small girl. Scared and frightened, I was taken from my home and held against my will. His father hurt me, but he protected me and kept me safe as best he could.

Until I left him.

I ran the first chance I got and even though I knew he wasn’t behind me, I didn’t stop. The branches lashed out at me, punishing me for leaving him in the hands of a monster.

I’ve never felt such guilt in my life.

Although I survived, the boy was never found. I prayed for him to be safe. I dreamed he’d be alright and come back to me. Even as a young girl I knew I loved him, but I betrayed him.

Twenty years later, all my wishes came true.

But the boy came back a man. With a grip strong enough to keep me close and a look in his eyes that warned me to never dare leave him again. I was his to keep after all.

Twenty years after leaving one hell, I entered another. Our tale was only just getting started.

It’s dark and twisted.

But that doesn’t make it any less of what it is.

A love story. Our love story.

Willow started writing after having her little girl, Evie, December 2015. All during her pregnancy with Evie she continued to read and she only wanted to read romance. She was reading a book a day — sometimes two.

In January 2016 Willow was staying up late with Evie and just thinking of all these stories. They came to her constantly so she finally sat down and just started writing. She always wanted to do it so she figured, why not? Today Willow cannot be happier for making that decision!

Sometimes you read a book and at the end you lay your head back, let out a sigh and have to simply let it sink in. This is that book. A story that stands out from the rest in both beauty and tragedy. Forget Me Not redefines unconditional love. Devastatingly refreshing, a relevant topic in a day in age when we learn about these true life heartbreaking stories in the media. Read it. If there is only one book you can read this year, make it this one!

Forget Me Not is UNFORGETTABLE!
I mean wow!
I am sitting here in awe over the magnificent mind twisting tornado of emotions I just witnessed and went through while reading this dark crazy train!
The storyline for this book was one I did not anticipate but gladly welcomed the change of pace from what I have been reading!
One that grabbed me by the feels, consuming me, not letting me come back to reality til the very end!
I cannot get over how Willow Winters keeps setting the bar higher for herself with each book!
Everything in this dark, twisted, sexy, romantic, mind bending, suspenseful, and unputdownable romance novel is amplified x 10!

This book is going in my top 10 favorites of the year! And on my to read list.
Definitely, something I would recommend to anyone who needs something fresh and different.

“I love you, all of you, and I’m right here.” - Robin

Twisted. Disturbing at times, but captivating nonetheless in Willow Winters latest release Forget Me Not. This breathtaking author delivers a powerful push and pull of sorts with three different POVs that impacts you at full force.

I honestly don’t know what to say regarding this novel. It took me awhile to catch on to the plot, the devious ways of Ms. Winters imagination, but once I caught on, it flowed right off the pages and I devoured in one sitting.

Dr. Robin & John have a dark and gritty past and both are reunited again. Both are needing each other to conquer inexplicable fears and subconscious memories.

If you want your mind blown with a dark, twisted tale, then look no further… one click with Willow Winters!

WILLOW WINTERS DELIVERS A BRILLIANTLY WRITTEN PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER THAT WILL HAVE YOUR HEAD SPINNING AND YOUR MOUTH GASPING IN SUSPENSE! 5 UNBELIEVABLE, SUSPENSEFUL, INTENSE, RIVETING & BRILLIANT STARS.

I’m giving NOTHING away here. I had no idea what I was in for when I began reading this story.

I kept thinking that something’s up with this book that I just can’t put my finger on. But I’m telling you it’s a psychological thriller of the very best kind. I kept thinking with every page I turned that I was going to get the answers….. I did not and I’m so thankful for it.

I have a habit of always going to the back of the book and making sure there is an HEA because… well….. I have no self-control and must have an HEA. So, I made a promise to myself that I wouldn’t do that and I stuck to that promise I made myself. THANK GOD!!! I would have ruined everything.

This is a sad but chilling story of what the aftermath can be after being subjected to the worst kind of abuse. Robin & Jay’s story needed to be told. It’s intense, gripping, riveting, sad, suspenseful, filled with desperation and will keep you guessing until the very end. This book even frightened me a bit because this can happen in reality.

Prepare yourself for the biggest mind f**k in recent book history but in a really realllllllllly good way. That’s how I describe “Forget me Not” by Author Willow Winters.

This book is unlike anything this author has done before. PURE BRILLIANCE on the part of Willow Winters.

I’m grateful to have been a part of the review process. This book struck a chord with me and is one I won’t easily forget.

Go now…… Get your copy……. Don’t think about it….. Just do it…… It’s an unbelievably fantastic read. One that the author should be so very proud of….. Thank you….Thank you…..Thank you Willow for writing it…..

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book but I also pre-ordered/purchased my own copy.

You know what? Apparently I'm not the type of reader that this book needs. I'm way too analytical. I need facts. I need reasons. I need to know the purpose of actions and dialogue. And I was gifted with none of that.

Starting off, you know absolutely nothing about this book. From the blurb, sure I expected a few damaged characters who maybe got their second chance romance love story going in a perhaps darker-ish way. Because that makes sense? Whatever. What I actually got was a story with minimal plot, and... That's about it. I seriously cannot think of the point of this book. I feel like there was barely a story told, and I'm left with too many holes and questions for me to even consider this complete.

But too, even if this was somehow a darker read, I enjoy the occasional dark book! I'll read a few a year to completely take me out of my element. I like the twisted mind fucks and the questionable decisions and weird situations. I was looking for that addictive and depraved quality that I usually get when reading this type of story, but was mostly left scratching my head and looking at my watch (I don't wear a watch) waiting an actual story to begin.

Let's please also separate the "darker themes" from crazy. Crazy does not equal dark, nor does dark equal crazy. Sure, you can argue that these characters have a dark past but so little of it is exposed, I think that's a cop out. This book is focusing on them "trying to fix each other" based on what their past broke inside their minds. But again, crazy and dark do not mean the same thing. These folks just had some simple, itty bitty, average (have you caught on to the sarcasm?) psychological issues. Somewhere along the lines, everyone's wires got crossed one too many times.

And a love story? Really? Where? Because I didn't just read one. Someone might need to point that out for me because there was no falling in love. There were obsessive tendencies and "I've always loved him", quotes thrown around repeatedly. Really though? Even though you haven't seen him in 20 years? <-- Not a spoiler, don't yell at me. "But Shannon, there's an epilogue and an HEA!" Don't even get me started on the epilogue. I refuse.

This feels like there are seriously so many different cliches and "subplots" - I don't even want to call it that - that are somehow mashed all into one book. Nothing flows, there's no rhyme or reason, holes in the story, random side details that relate to nothing, no rising action, climax or falling action. And the big reveal/issue that's hinted at? I figured it out like 20% before it was revealed. So really, what did I even just read? If you want to try and tackle a complex subject matter like this, freaking give it everything you have and make it count!

Oh! Another thing! After I finished this, I noticed a prequel to the story at the back of the book. You know what I thought about that? Fuck it. That's what. It was never mentioned, nor should it be there in the first place. If you want to include a prequel, put it at the beginning. I'm not reading it because at this point, anything in there is irrelevant to this story as it is currently portrayed. Is it going to give insight? Answer questions? I don't care, if it's relevant to the story, it's needs to, dare I say it, be in the actual story.

The end.

descriptionNice cover on this one. OK representation of the hero. Nice use of graphics. Good composition and title work.description

descriptionI enjoyed this one a lot. I had it figured out right from the beginning, but that didn't take away from my enjoyment in the least. There were a few times that I thought maybe we were headed in a different (more complex) direction, but that didn't pan out, and I was a bit disappointed because that twist would have made this book AWESOME.

description

The writing was very good. The pace was excellent. There are some twists and turns. It wasn't particularly dark or angsty or drama filled. A couple of sex scenes but I wouldn't say this book was heavy in the romance department. There are very few characters, but the ones we get were likable and intriguing (if a tiny bit underdeveloped). There is a prologue available that I would suggest you read before starting this book it will provide you with a bit more background details. That said, I did feel the book fell a bit short in that regard. Especially with Robin's character. The story would have been even better if we had gotten a few chapters devoted to these characters and what they were doing and feeling from the time they last saw each other until they meet again.

Those issues aside I still found myself sucked into the story from beginning to end. So this one gets two thumbs up from yours truly.description

This book has made me a Willow Winters fan! I definitely want to check out her backlist right away! This book is a dark romance between two very broken people. I figured out very early what was going on; but I would recommend being careful reading reviews about this story. Part of the mystery is going into the book not knowing much.

As far as the prequel that is free on Amazon, it isn't necessary to get it as it is included in the end of this book....

Genre: Romantic Suspense
Type: Standalone
POV: First Person - Multiple
Rating:

Robin Everly had a harrowing childhood. As a psychologist, it was her job to help people cope with trauma, but she herself needed help especially when the past came barreling back.

Growing up, Jay knew suffering first hand. Years may have passed and the scars fading, yet the wound still festering inside. With help from his friend John, he wanted her back no matter what the consequences.

I knew this book is my kind of book the moment I realize which direction it's going. It had a huge potential but I was a little disappointed it wasn't utilized properly.

She wants me to punish her. I will. She wants me to have her. I’ll take every piece of her and leave her with nothing.

I like all the characters and how they played their role in the storyline. But there's one big question regarding the past that was never answered. It would have tightened up the story, giving it the anchor it needed.

Even though I suspected and guessed the plot correctly, I enjoyed the journey in discovering the answer. It kept me glued to the story while trying to put the pieces together. Some parts felt disjointed but it was possibly done on purpose. Another thing is, I wish the romance part was established better.

She makes me feel a side of me I’ve never known. She makes me want more. And I want her all to myself.

Forget Me Not is a story of broken people helping each other to glue back their shattered pieces. It would appeal to fans of romantic suspense with a hint of dark.

Note:
There's a prequel at the end of the book. I read it before the main story and I think it's the best way to go because it helped added more impact and intrigue to the book.

1. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BOOK if you are looking for a dark read…

If you want to read something dark, this is definitely not dark, so go pick up something really dark.

There is only the mentioning of “dark things happening to them in the past” with no explanations of what exactly happened (no details at all). So, the book is definitely far from being dark.

2. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BOOK if you are in search of some dark/rough/dirty/hot/kinky or any kind of erotic sex scenes at all.

Well, there is only one, which is a mediocre sex scene.
The second one just starts where the chapter ends so you assume the rest.

Total: one and a half sex scenes…

Nah - not worth the whole wait at all!

3. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BOOK if you want to read a good mystery book or a good psychological thriller.

The book indeed deals with a topic that always interests me, but it is hard to deal with this topic and in this case, it is unfortunately not a good example of it.

And my recommendation is as follows:

If you need to read a good example of a very similar topic, BLACK LIES by Alessandre Torre is most definitely the book to pick up.

***********************************************

The only good thing about the book is the blurb, which promises a very interesting read but it fails to do so.

***********************************************

Plot twist

Many readers say the plot twist is awesome and unexpected etc. It is... But I really don’t care. Why? Let me explain...

In my opinion, as long as the "plot" before the "twist" doesn’t make sense at all and as long as the good plot doesn't have a good story-telling, then the "awesome plot twist" cannot make up for the epic fail of the book.

THE PLOT has lots and lots of HOLES!

description

The book is told by multiple point of view (3) and for a very long time, it doesn’t make sense.

If you don’t figure out the plot twist beforehand, you spend almost %80 of the book trying to understand what the hell the characters are talking about and what is going on.

I had two theories and one came true eventually but it still didn’t satisfy me as I am still left with questions which I think play a fundamental part in the credibility of the story.

Mystery of the past????

Most importantly, the mystery of what happened in their past is never explained fully.

There is a 14-year old boy abused by his own father. His father also kidnaps a 12-year old girl and she is also kept in the same basement with him for 4 months. The father uses the girl as bait for a while. As the boy doesn’t want his father to hurt the girl, he does whatever his father wants him to do. And what are these things? Well, WE REALLY DON’T KNOW. It was clear he was physically abused but whether he was sexually abused or not was never explained.

We also don’t know the reasons behind it. We aren’t given any clue as to why the father acts so and for how long.

Was he always like this?
Did he also abuse his wife until she overdosed?
Didn’t they have any relatives or friends who wondered where the hell the little boy was?

Nope… none of these questions are answered.

And for the girl who was kidnapped, again we have lots of unanswered questions. She says he was a monster who ruined her world and we assume she was physically & sexually abused at one point when the boy couldn’t protect her any more but again we just assume by only the hints given.

Then, one day, the boy helps the girl escape (don't ask how?) and he is left behind (again, don't ask why? - because it doesn't make sense with all the lack of information).

Why didn’t she tell the police about the boy?
Why was he never found and treated in a hospital taking lots and lots of therapy after the death of his father on the same day?
Why did she never try to save him after she was saved by him?
And why did it take him 20 years to understand she was also suffering and it was time to heal the wounds together - did she really have to try to kill herself?

Unanswered questions are so so frustrating.

***********************************************

Then, 20 years pass.

A huge gap in between...
We really don’t know what happened in those 20 years.

***********************************************

I had so many questions and kept on reading hoping that it would all come together by the end of the book but sadly, it didn't. ☹

It is one of those books where nothing much happens and nothing much is explained. It is just bla bla blah! You just feel floating in an ocean of mystery and then you are given an explanation but with that many holes and that many unanswered questions on top of the lack of character development and all, it just feels flat.

***********************************************

It is such a shame because with a topic and a plot twist like that, it really had great potential but the book is such a poor execution of a good plot, unfortunately.

***********************************************

Note to all writers:
For God’s sake, not every story has to end in marriage and pregnancy. It is ridiculous in some cases.

Even if, as a writer, you feel the obligation to end your story with this cliché ending, please once in a while, try being original.

You can’t forget love, no matter how hard you try.

First of all that cover is gorgeous and I can’t wait to see it on one of my shelves.

Let me get this off my chest… this was by far THE BEST story I’ve read from Willow Winters to date. I could feel her passion. I could taste the characters fear and confusion and lust and love and crazy and etc. This book packed such a punch that saying I’m impressed would be an understatement.

To sum things up (without giving it all away)... Jay and Robin share a past. A painful one that neither has healed from. A past that John doesn’t remember sharing with them. Jay is determined to help Robin through her scars and to have her help him, and he’s hoping she’ll help John remember in the process. Their journey of discovery was absolute torture, but there is always beauty in pain, and the beauty of these characters shined through with this author’s creative writing.

Whenever an author tackles mental illness, I get a tad worried. It doesn’t always turn out the best OR it’s not always realistic. However, I believe that the author did justice by this book. She tackled an issue that isn’t pretty or easy to read, but she handled it with delicacy, obvious research, and sensitivity. Mad respect, Willow. I was immediately captivated by the twists and turns of the characters’ minds and couldn’t help pray that some way, some miraculous way, everyone would achieve a happy ending. There were some obvious plot holes and some much-needed details missing, but I just didn’t care all that much. I still enjoyed it ;)

This book is a tad on the dark side, but is in no way depraved. I would have liked some details on the reasons for the emotional and physical scars, but that’s just because I’m a dark individual. This story is equal parts tragic and inspirational, sad and beautiful, full of heartache and full of hope. It had everything to make it a truly awesome story.

Robin Everly suffered a trauma when she was 12 years old. Since then, she’s tried to move forward and pursued a career in psychiatry in an effort to help others with trying situations. However, she always wondered what happened to the boy she loved and felt survivor’s guilt over the years. When Robin experiences another loss in her life, she hits an all-time low.

“You can help me and I can help you.”

Always watching from afar, Jay is a loner yet can’t help but to intervene when he witnesses Robin’s depressed state. From that moment, he forms a plan to reunite in order to heal Robin but also to face the truth.

“I would give anything to have all of you,” I admit to her with absolute truth.”

In trying to recreate the setting of their childhood trauma, Jay and Robin attempt to push through boundaries to confront their fears and emotions. With each having their own feelings, Robin needs for Jay to accept the sincerity of the love she feels for him which includes the good and the bad. For Jay, his past memories are much more complicated and longstanding which stifles his progress but also insulates his anger and distress.

“I feel bad for her, I really do, but it doesn’t make the anger wane. Not in the least.”

What ensues is tense and mysterious as clues begin to reveal the level of damage caused by such a painful past. As Jay and Robin try to forge ahead, it is not without more heartache and pain. Knowing they are broken, they try to mend each other in ways that seem no one else can do. Told in dual POV, the state of mind for each character underscores the intensity of their experiences. The abuse that they suffered is heartbreaking yet having each other during those times offered some moments of solace.

“I will always hold your hand,” I tell her.”

This is my first book by Willow Winters and I enjoyed the storyline and the need to get answers. At times, some plot points felt like they could have been more developed and this would have enriched the overall experience. For example, while I understood the intensity of the situation between Robin and Jay as children, I didn’t completely experience how those feelings translated into their teen/adult lives. Also, I was hoping for more background on Jay’s relationship with his father since this was the root of all their pain. That said, I was still intrigued and felt invested in the well-being of these characters. Having read this one, I will look forward to additional books by this author.

Forget Me Not is a story about survival and the long-term effects of tragic circumstances. Offering a journey between broken characters, their path is heartbreaking but also steeped in hope and sacrifice.

An UNFORGETTABLE read.

A tornado of emotions..!!

This book was Dark, Intense, suspenseful, thriller, fast paced.

Both characters are so broken and so perfect for each other. At first it was confusing and I was not sure what's going on as I was going in blind but later when the story picked up and truth came out, it was so dark and heart breaking.

The books was dark, angsty and intense. The characters were going through so much... I needed a moment for my mind to catch up and digest it all. Then I would start reading again and repeat the same process.

I loved the psychological romance. YES..!! THIS IS A LOVE STORY. No matter how dark and twisty none the less a very beautiful Unforgettable, heart wrenching Love story.
I haven't read something like this in a while and I am glad I picked this one up.

{I lean against him, and he holds me tightly. I wouldn’t have it any other way. We’re both broken from what happened to us. But the love that’s come from it can’t tear us apart. As long as we stay together.}

{The past can ruin a person forever. They may recover, but they’re never the same. Never what they once were. The scar may be thicker than delicate skin. It may protect you from some things and give you a wall to hide behind.

But it’s the gentle things that will cut it open and leave you raw and wounded once again.}

I am surely reading more by this author...!!
A LOVE STORY that will stay in my heart forever.

Read the free prologue first here

Forget Me Not is more than a romance, the story features dark undertones and has the makings of a psychological thriller. Willow Winters gives readers a hero they want to heal, a heroine to do the job, and a mysterious past that will puzzle till the very end. From the very first page I knew something was just not right and I had so many ideas of which way it would go. Robin, Jay, and John have a childhood that ties them together. Twenty years ago they were locked in an endless cycle of hellish torture, but it only feels like yesterday when they find themselves together once again. All of them are affected by the past, their decisions today are still those of a child stolen from a happy life. They're damaged, but surviving, some more than others. One makes a plan to help them help each other, but it makes them all feel like they're living in the past again.

Maybe this is what I've truly wanted. For him to punish me. For him to forgive me.

I generally enjoyed the premise of Forget Me Not, the characters are fantastic and the psychological aspect was unique. Unfortunately, the details are lacking and I never felt like I truly was a part of the story. I couldn't wrap my heads around the why's and how's, unable to fully grasp how the characters tied together as adults. Even with the twist revealed I never got that a-ha! moment. Though the idea is dark and the relationship between the characters is more taboo than acceptable I never really felt that Forget Me Not was as dark as it could be. Though it is cleverly written, something Willow Winters always does well, it never really met my expectations.

She reminded me so much of Jay. So much of me. So much of what we'd been through.

Forget Me Not is Willow Winter's latest release in a long line of dark, unique novels. It's unexpected and emotional, a story I could never have imagined. Featuring handsome men and a strong heroine, readers will enjoy the journey to the light once they fall into the twisted story of the Little Bird and her Lone Wolf.

Don't leave me. Not here, and not ever.

3,8. Um enredo envolvente, porém da maneira que foi descrito, me pareceu muito superficial. Não me convenceu esse amor dos personagens principais.

When I first started this book I was confused, the blurb and the beginning chapters weren't fitting together like pretty puzzle pieces. My confusion prompted me to theorize, and the theory I came up with was reinforced as I continued to read the book. Even though I guessed pretty early on what the twist was going to be, the book was still very enjoyable. I was intrigued by the history between Robin and Jay and where John fit into the story.
What a good little victim I'm being for him...I stay where I'm told to and spread my legs for him, begging him to ruin me.
Robin is a psychiatrist, and when we first meet her she's steeped in the grief of loosing a patient. This grief brings other memories to the surface for Robin and we quickly meet Jay, the boy who shared these horrific times with Robin. Robin and Jay's reunion is not sweet and the situation is made worse by the presence of John who's there as a sort of moral compass for John.
The boy may scare me some, but the man terrifies me.
I don't want to say too much about the book, it's definitely a journey you should experience first-hand. It was very enjoyable and it kept me engaged, I was interested in the characters and the things they had gone through and were currently going through. Though my main theory proved to be true it didn't detract from my enjoyment and I still found myself asking questions about the probability of my theory and if something else might be more plausible. In my opinion the book wasn't very dark, I thought it had a more psychhological, mystery-like aspect.

My oh my .... between the plot, the monologue of main character this book is a disaster from beginning

I read the same plot of book which better wrote and I appreciate a better research and editing from the other author A.T.

I never judge but I think I’m giving enough chance for miss WW

Hey, check it out. I'm the minority on yet another story. How fun .

Spoilers abound.

While this had some solid elements, it ultimately fell through for me.

I enjoyed the (bits of) dark romance, however it felt a little too tame to call it that. We got what? A total of 1.5 sex scenes? Doesn't qualify in my book.

Some parts felt more like a biopic strictly about Dissociative Identity Disorder, and less a story about both Jay/John and Robin.

I'll admit, the first declarations of love had my tummy in those delicious knots but by the 17,384th time? Not so much.

Half tempted to review the book again and tally up the times 'I love you' and 'little bird' are said. I won't though. I'm not that much of a masochist.

And for the love of god, people; not every story has to result in marriage and a baby. Jesus Christ, that ending is getting old.

The past to present switcheroo came at random times, at random chapters, and at random times in their history. I'm dizzy.

Okey dokey. I'll go be a bitch somewhere else now.

Till next time ;)

Forget Me Not by Willow Winters was the first book in her Forget Me Not series. It was also my first book by the author, but it won’t be my last. I received a complimentary copy through a newsletter subscription. It was dark and disturbing, yet it also had a weird underlying sweetness to it.

Robin was kidnapped as a child and met a young boy that was also in a prison of his own with his father. It was a horrendous abuse situation - although we were thankfully spared too many details. Robin escaped and guiltily left him behind but had always hoped that he survived and would eventually come for her. Fast forward to adulthood and the story began...

It was told from three POV’s: Robin, Jay and a childhood friend of Jay’s, John. Winters switched between the present and past for the full perspective. It was somewhat of a triangle, but not in the traditional sense. No spoilers here, but it was emotional and somewhat mysterious as well as dark.

In the end, I couldn’t read it fast enough. It was dark and twisted but it was well written, well developed, complex, multi-dimensional and was ultimately and HEA, well worth the read.

' Forget Me Not' by Willow Winters is book One in the "Forget Me Not" Series. There is a 0.5 Book called "Something to Remember: Prequel" that does give some background to Robin, Jay, and John life.
This is a Dark Type Romance story that hooks you in pretty fast. Its a thrilling story line that does go back and forth through points in their lives.
I enjoyed this Book!

Insomma, ero veramente cauta! Poi, all'inizio dell'eBook, ho trovato una sorpresina: il prequel, Something To Remember.

I would give this book more than 5 stars it's like reading a twisty dark psychological mystery with a never ending love story.
I don't want to say too much about the story it really is a book that your best to go in blind. As the story unfolds we get glimpses of the past which is at times dark and heartbreaking. I love Willow's writing style every word pulls you in, you want to go on reading to unfurl every twist and turn.
If you like an unconventional love story then get this book you won't regret it.

I needed some time to process this book to determine how I truly feel about it, and I'm still at a loss. Frankly, at the end, I was left pissed off with how the mental health issues raised were dealt with. I sat shaking my head and thinking how unrealistic this was and how lightly the matters were dealt with. Mental illness is some serious stuff, and I think it was treated too simplistically. Then, I had to remind myself this is a work of fiction and I had to look at what I think makes a good book...and that's something that takes me outside of myself and makes me feel. This story did make me feel...I was anxious and disturbed and invested in what the heck was going on. By 15%, I was sure I had this figured out. By 40%, I was no longer convinced. By the end, I had been correct in my first thoughts. This review is a mess and rambly because I still don't know how I feel or what I'm trying to say. This book is not dark romance. It is disturbing. And there are elements of "romance". It is about extremely broken people, who are fated for each other because of some horrible circumstances. I would have liked to have seen more backstory and more depth, more answers. In the end, I think I'd rate this a 3.5, and I'm bumping up to 4 simply because I couldn't put this down.

I can't believe this is my first read by this author. Why oh why did I wait so long. On the bright side I can now go and have a Willow feast on her previous books.

Forget Me Not is a book that you should jump in blind as the blurb gives enough of a teaser. It's also one of them books where I'm wary about writing a long review as I don't want to spoil it for anyone.

This is a fantastic read with a great storyline. The author pulled me through so many different emotions while reading it.
Not for the faint at hearted but a book I'll certainly be recommending and reading again as I loved it.

Forget Me Not by Willow Winters is a dark read. This book deals with sensitive subjects, contains explicit sexual situations and is generally not for the faint of heart. You like dark reads? You´re gonna love this book !!
Meet Dr. Robin Every and John. Both have a common past, they endured unspeakable things. And left scars, deep scars and issues.
They´re tangled in a vicious web. This book is full of twists and unexpected turns. And I loved it. Every single one.
Forget Me Not is raw, it is gritty and it is a mindfudge of epic proprtions.
I give 5 dark stars. Thank you Willow Winters.
