These two are pure dynamite together and volatile as all hell I love their dynamic it’s all sorts of crazy and fucked but they just click and their chemistry together is explosive.
After events from the previous book, the beginning of this was heartbreaking as Jude contemplated life without his girls and he was destroyed.

Here Tor is prepared to sacrifice everything for her daughter as she attempts to play for the other side with one goal kill Lopez. It will place the bond she shares with the man she adores in real jeopardy as he now thinks himself betrayed. But her actions will only take her out of the frying pan and into the fire itself as yet again Tor finds herself played. Now with their daughter still in danger, they will have to try and take Down an entire cartel even if I’m the process it means making the
the ultimate sacrifice for Cayla.

This was fast-paced and full of delicious tension. This really was Tor and Judes last stand one thing that shone through throughout is how much Tor and Jude love each other and also Cayla there’s nothing they won’t do or even sacrifice to keep her safe. This had passion and bloodshed so much heartbreak and also some much need comedy gold from Gabe and Marney.

And even when these two were fighting the sparks flew these two just have that sort of snarky bond and both have hot tempers that match. A fabulous finish to the series I don’t know how I wasn’t aware that there was a book 3 and 4 I’ve raced through them and been glued to the page till the bitter end and I’m hoping Jude and Tor along with their little doll are now safe and happy together it’s about time they caught a break. What a series this has been.

AHHHHHHH!!! I was excited all week waiting for this book! If you've read my last 3 reviews then you know just how much I love this series and how vested I am into these characters.

This book picks up right where book 3 ends and just starts out the gate swinging. We are left with a lot of unanswered question with book 3 and what I can say is that we get all the answers in book 4.

So let get started on how I felt about this book...... I loved how action packed it was and I was always on the edge of my seat. There's so much that I want to say but I can't with out giving anything away. What I can say is that Gabriel's humor brought levity in dark moments and I always got a good chuckle.

There was a specific quote that in the middle of the night I had to write down because it easily has become my favorite quote " A Captive animal may think it's happy having never known what it is to be free.".

Yep, that's some pretty deep shit and in correspondence with where its at in the book it literary genius.

All of the other books I rated 5 stars but this book I am giving 4 stars. Now let me tell you why, the ending felt rushed to me. There was so much build up and then just WAM it was over and then we are thrown into the epilogue!!! My adreneline was still pumping and couldn't believe that will the whole book being build up that they rushed that ending. Also, I honestly didn't like the ending........

-----------------------------------SPOILER ALERT-------------------------------

YOU ARE WARNED, I AM ABOUT TO GIVE THE ENDING AWAY-

Ok, you were warned................

So, really!!!!! I love Jude and I love Tor but the whole ending was leading up to them going out like Bonnie and Clyde to endure Caitlyn could be safe. There thoughts were that if they weren't alive that she wouldn't pose an asset to get to them..... Liked it, thought ok, this is perfect. Yes, I was prepared to ugly cry but this book isn't for the faint of hearts and so surely they won't write a happy ending..... WRONG!!!!!! Not only does Jude sacrifice himself to save Tor, he detonates a bomb to kill off the rest of the cartel and some how everyone dies BUT Jude and Tor.....REALLY!!!! First, cool, Tor was going to live to take care of their daughter, but when Jude survives it cheesy! They never even went to make sure the rest of the cartel survives, surely if Jude does, it's possible. Nope, they hop in the car and ride out. I guess not only did Jude survive the bomb but homeboy escaped with no injuries..... AGAIN REALLY????

Lastly, they decide to sacrifice everything and they end up getting their daughter and just riding off into the sunset as one big happy family....... UGH..... This series was phenomenal and to cap it off like that isn't cool. I am so disappointed with this ending but regardless I still loved the book. It was great and a good read, but the ending tho.........

War starts off with Jude thinking Tor and Cayla are dead, he was so destroyed it was heart breaking. Now nothing matters but death and revenge. Tor survived her injuries and has made a deal with yet another devil Jesus and becomes his whore to keep Cayla safe. At this point I was still pissed with Tor. Her decision to trust and make deals with everyone but Jude annoyed me. When Jude finds out she isn't dead and where she is, he goes to get her. Unfortunately the deal is made and she returns to Jesus leaving Jude betrayed. This goes on for a while until she finally goes crawling back to Jude for help. Like I said several times I was not pleased with Tor. All her decisions I could understand (no she didn't have sex with Jesus) but when she chose to let Jude continue to think his baby girl was dead was the worst. I feel he forgave her way to quickly but he really can't help himself with her. I loved when they were working together again because their bickering is so much fun. I feel there were some cheesy moments, and some really? moments but overall it was another really good addition to this series. I'm really looking forward to Ronan's book.

As I was reading this book, I realized that my macho husband would probably enjoy this series! This says a lot since I’ve never read a fiction book I’d recommend to him before this one! I think most typical guys (meaning those who do not read romance) would find a lot to enjoy about the WRONG series as it has everything a guy’s guy likes: shoot outs, hostages, dead bodies, cartels, Russian mobsters, squealing tires, drugs, trucks jack-knifing, hookers, grenades, intense edge of your seat suspense and more! Of course this installment also contains the heat-filled sex scenes these two always deliver. What I felt and enjoyed most while reading WAR was the intense emotions (primarily anxiety, grief and pain) that Tor and Jude endured as they fought to get Cayla back.

The only reason I did not rate this book 5 stars is because I was extremely disappointed by the anti-climactic ending. After hundreds of pages building up to Cayla’s rescue, we never get to

God damn. Pure raw grief. After all these characters went through together in previous books, I prayed for their happiness.
This book is all about vengeance, revenge, and Jude’s way of balancing the scales.
Thankfully..the characters I thought were lost in the ending of book three weren’t . I can’t tell you how happy I was with that turn of events! Because let’s face it without our main characters, what even is this series?
I liked this one a lot more than book three, and the ending was everything I hoped for. You could literally cut the tension and suspense with a knife until the very last page. Every turn seemed to be blocked with a dead end, but these two always come out on top.

4🌟 for a five 🌟 series. I’ve loved seeing this story unfold and develop. Jude and tor came so far together that it was only fair they got everything they deserved.
So now I guess I’m gonna have to add Romans story ‘bad’ to my tbr ? 😁

Genre : Dark Romance

Is it the end of the story of Jude and Tor? I don't know yet. Their stories were hooked me and I clenched my hand while the war were around them. I love the story so much, but at the beginning I hate Tor's choice. She was a stubborn chick, and liked to.make a choice of her own. Sometimes smart choices, sometimes a despeeate choices that should be thought over and over again.

"A captive animal may think it's happy having never known what it is to be free."

Jude and Tor are back! Jude believes his wife and daughter are dead, collateral damage in a battle between cartels and mafia he is just a shell of the man he was. Left empty by his loss he's a weapon of revenge as he sets about unleashing his fury against those that played a part in his downfall. But not everything is as it seems and Jude is caught between the big players who are all in in a game that will cost lives...

With familiar faces returning such as Gabe and Marney this end to the series is jam packed with plot turns, suspense, intrigue and adrenaline fuelled explosive scenes that blew my mind. Once again Jude proves why he is the ultimate bad boy risking it all for those he loves and making the impossible a reality to see them safe. Tor, I'm crushing on that mad woman, she's stepped up her crazy and is a fierce momma bear that really knows no bounds when it comes to protecting her own. She is hard, calculated and cold when she needs to be and is a perfect match for Jude. This is a blood soaked no hold barred read that is non stop and action packed, I feel like I've been through an emotional wringer - the grief, loss and turmoil yet balanced with the determination, loyalty and love that these characters have. It's exceptionally written and totally worth the wait! These are two of my favourite one click must authors as they never fail to deliver a story that leaves me with goosebumps.

A five star what lengths are you willing to go to for those you love read.

The End?

It better be this time! While I absolutely LOVE Jude and Tor, Stevie J. Cole and LP Lovell need to find some new characters to pick on. This couple has been to hell and back, more times than I care to count. Enough is enough. ;)

"I destroyed her the moment I loved her."

And he wouldn't change a thing. Jude knows he isn't anything without his girl by his side. Just the thought of something happening to her sends him into a downward spiral. Too bad there isn't much he can do to keep her safe, which was proven at the end of book three Wire.

This time around it's Jude and Gabe trying to be the heroes, shut the Sinaloa down and appease the stinking Russians. Everybody is on edge, nobody knows what is really going on, including us readers. This book is one wild ride and I was scared to see what the ending was going to produce.

As serious as the subject is, Gabe and Marney (I love that old guy) injected the right amount of humor into the story. It was perfect comedic timing really. They are two guys Jude is lucky to have in his life right at the moment.

The book is well written and action packed from the first page until the last. While there is an epilogue, there is also an opening for the next book. One in which hopefully, Jude and Tor are taking a back seat to the action for now.

After the end of book 3, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this one I was just so full of emotion I needed to know what happened.
I will say I was on the edge of my seat with this one what a ride.
So much happens I cried I was shouting at my kindle.
I think I have a big girl crush on Tor I think in some parts she was being a stupid but as a mother, we will do anything to protect our children.
How will it all end who dies and who lives well you are going have to read to find out but prepare for the roller coaster ride it puts you through so many emotions?
My heart was in my mouth a few times. This book is dark and twisted and I loved every minute of it.
I can’t wait to see what Stevie and L P have got for us next I know whose story it is and I can’t wait.

All good things must come to an end, and this series was good!

Jude and Tor were going out with a bang, they were going to safe their daughter, even if that meant them dying while trying.

I absolutely love Jude all the way through book one to book three. He is all alpha male and I loved that about him. I loved Tor in the first and second book, but if I'm being honest she bugged me a little in this book, now with that being said, I did as a mother try to put myself in her position and what I would do if I were her.

The action was good, there were heart pounding moments and I am happy with how the series ended. Jude and Tor will always be one of my favorite couples in a series.

Now that Jude and Tor's story is over, I am hoping Gabe gets his own book.

"I'm speachless" Omg!!!!

If you love angst, danger, dark humour, action galore, a couple who find love in a world of chaos, look no further.

PREVIOUS BOOKS TO BE READ FIRST.

The Wrong series is absolutely brilliant and I never would of thought when I first started wrong I would of been taken on such an emotional, angsty and exciting journey.

I've laughed, teared up, swooned, been anxious, cringed, gasped, I have basically been taken on a roller coaster of emotions through these books.

Jude, what can I say, he's the king of bad boys, I absolutely love him. I can't get enough of Jude Pearson, he makes by heart thud.

Tor, her strength is formidable, her sass is menacing, I loved Tor.

Together they are like Mr & Mrs Smith only badder, better, stronger in a world of destruction.

Marney, I lost count of the amount of times he made me chuckle and Gabe the badass Cartel drug lord and Jude's friend, I am so looking forward to a book with his story.

The fence thing, I pmsl everytime it was mentioned even when shit hits the fan these two authors cant help but add a touch of humour in the least expected places.

I loved this hard, these two authors are unparalleled and just get better and better, they take you on an unpredictable journey one I never want to end. I finish their books feeling like I've been thrust in a wind tunnel, my mind blown all over the place and come out the other side straightening myself out and composing myself.

Another brilliant book, an amazing journey that's gripping, intense, hair-raising, rousing, all the praise goes out to LP Lovell & Stevie J Cole, you ladies are gold.

My final verdict. I really liked book one and two at the time. And in retrospect for me the first two and the last two books are 2 separate stories.
But i can honestly say, without the first two books, the second two wouldn't stand a chance. Most of my better view on these last two books stems from the love for the characters and their story in the first two books.
I liked it very much. The humor with Gabe. Action and all.
But i couldn't give it the full 5 stars as the previous first two books. I couldn't even give it 3 stars like the third book in this series. During the whole mexican adventure. We were confronted with the same
relationship problem over and over again, like a broken record. Which led me to continually loose interest in the story itself and additionally without a real conclusion in the end. The cartel problem just tagged along.
Maybe it was the long pause between publications and with it the disconnection from the story.
Maybe it is that Tor doesn't take responsibility for her own actions and instead always blames Jude for everything. She lived with him for 2 full years. Meeting and befriending his "clients". Knowing full well what he does for a living, the possible risks and "lifestyle". It is comprehensible that she puts her daughter first. But betraying him in the same breath, instead of working as a team, is not what i wanted to see for both of them.
The last two books didn't reach the potential for me.

Well...... I don't know whether to cry or be happy. Actually both. Because I love this series so freakin much and its came to an end. Jude and Tor won my heart in Wrong and haven't let it go. This book though. Oh my. Ladies yall have completely out done yourselves. I loved all the words and all the feels.

Jude is out for revenge. He will stop at NOTHING to get it. Even giving his own life. Hes lost his daughter and his wife. He literally has nothing left to lose. This is his motivation. Hes a man on a mission and DAMN is it intense. I really hurt for Jude. Having everything and then losing it was extreme hell for him. But as usual with Stevie and LP nothing is quite what it seems. I cant go into this more. No spoilers.

This is a MUST READ SERIES! One you don't want to miss. With as many downs as there are ups you never know whats coming. Only thing you can do is set down, buckle up, and enjoy one hell of a ride.

War (Wrong Book 4)
By: Stevie J. Cole and LP Lovell
4 Stars

Well my goodness!!! What an action packed read.

Jude is OUT.FOR.REVENGE!!!

Nothing will stop him from getting back at the people who took his Wife and Child from him.
His methods of obtaining his revenge are nothing that an ordinary man would think of, that’s for sure!

I’m just going to leave it at that. This book is all about REVENGE.

If you’ve read the other books in this series, you know that this book will be full of vengeance, love, hate, death, emotional, and in the end…REVENGE.

War is the last instalment in the Wrong series and it was the perfect way to end it. These two amazing authors always manage to make the next book better than the last.

Jude is out for revenge and Jesus Lopez is who he's gunning for, for taking Tor and Cayla from him. Jude was meant to protect them and he failed. This book will play with your emotions, it's an action packed read that will have turning the pages quickly just to see what happens next, it will take you on one Hell of a ride. If you're looking for an action packed book, full of angst and plenty of bloodshed that will keep you on your toes then look no further because this has it all and then some. I'm sad the series has ended but now I'm really looking forward to reading Ronan's book BAD. Another fab job ladies 5 bring the WAR stars.....

Well Fuck! What a ride!!

Last in the Wrong series.

At the end of book 3 we were left with a devastating cliffie and this picks right on up where we left off.

Jude is on a rampage of Revenge. Believing Tor and Cayla are dead what does he have left? He's feeling something he's never felt before. Helpless. He's Jude Pearson he always comes out on top. Determine to bring down those who have wronged him he drinks away grief and fights his way through the Sinaloa Cartel.

Tor believes her betrayal of Jude has ended his life and that her deal with Sinaloa cartel boss will keep Cayla safe. She has no idea whether she is dead either but she has to believe that she is alive and keep to her plan. Ronan is still using her and playing his own game and offers another deal to make Cayla safe. She knows she's on her own and has to device her own plan.

Along the way betrayal and double crossing has both Tor and Jude not knowing what to believe. Who deserves their loyalty, who can they trust, who is dead or alive and who will survive. It's a race against time to protect the only thing Jude and Tor would sacrifice each other for. Will Ronan be the ultimate winner in a game no one can win?

Bloody hell! Sat here mouth agape, and wondering what the hell has hit me!!

From the start you're flung around like an emotional rag doll. Sadness, Grief, helplessness, hopeful, devastation, fear, anger, love, anxious, heat, sexy, acceptance, and finally.... nope not gonna tell ya the end!

I can't tell you how much i loved this series. It was the perfect ending for these two.

Jude is just everything you want and so much more. Can he ever die? I fucking hope not!! He's so sexy with his signature throat grip, you know it's coming, you physically gasp along with Tor and then burn up your undies! Just when you thought he had softened a bit in book 3 Tor unwittingly drags him back to his brilliant best. Murder, torture and destruction are left in his wake. I LOVE him!!!

There were parts in this book, and i hate to say it because she is one of my fave book heroines, but i actually hated her. I mean i wanted to jump in the book, knock her out and force her not to do what she does. I wasn't happy at all with her. I understood. But shit she really makes some wrong decisions. Thankfully she pulls it around pretty quickly and i forgave her lol She shows a spark of the Tor who nails genitals to chair's and then BOOM she gets even more badass!! Loved her again!! lol

The writing was as always with these two almost poetic. The way they use words drag you into the story and make you feel every emotion they intend you to feel. Absolutely brilliant.

So very excited i almost pissed my pants to find out that the dastardly Ronan is getting his own book!!! Yes the pale faced Russian is getting his own story!!

I will also be begging for Gabe's story because he is awesome!! He provided the comedy relief in this book with his antics i love him!!!

One of my favorite series ever!!! If you haven't read this series go one click it now!! Go on!! Now!! You won't regret it. I can't recommend this highly enough. Infinity Stars is not even enough!

I am gutted this series is over now. I loved Jude and Tor's story so much. It feels like a lifetime ago Tor was handed over to the ruthless, cold and uncaring Jude. They've come so far!
I'll never forget this brutal and passionate series.

"Have you been happy in the life I've given you?"
I stroke his jaw, brushing my lips over his. "It's not about the life you gave me, Jude. It's just you. You make everything before seem... inconsequential."
"So, love then, huh? Love makes it worth it?" I close my eyes and touch my forehead to his, breathing him in. "Always."

I will admit that I was a little disappointed with this final installment (hence the 4, not the stars). I felt that there was sooo much build up and broken hearts, then it was wrapped up way too quickly and I was so disappointed that we didn't get a reunion, or even a great epilogue.
I get that the author wanted to lure us in to the next following series but at this point, I don't care about Ronan Cole. I wanted one last moment with Tor and Jude *sniffs*

But anyhoo, this book was jam-packed with action, lust and revenge. I freaking loved it!!

"Don't give up on us. I will come back to you," I choke. "I promise." "Promises don't mean shit to me, Tor." He walks out of the room, leaving me alone. "I love you," I say quietly, knowing he can't hear me

***

'Another quick glance and he adjusts his dick. "Really?" I lift an eyebrow at him. "Look, you're packing heat...between your thighs. Don't judge me."

***

"Promise me you'll never forget the way I loved you." His hands glide beneath my shirt, pushing it up until he pulls it over my head. "Never."

Although I love this author I can't give it more than three stars. I missed the chemistry that was in the first two books, I didn't feel a connection between Victoria and Jude. Jude said the same thing over and over again. I kind of missed the Alpha guy he was in the previous books.

The whole story between Jesus and Victoria made no sense!!! I had such a hard time getting past her not telling Jude about Cayla. It really irritated me and I found myself skimming through a lot of her chapters. Also all of a sudden she's this kick ass mercenary, her character made no sense to me in this book.

I'm a huge fan of this author and she has a great way of telling a story and describing an event but this book just not make any sense with these characters.

I'm so looking forward to her next book about Ronan and Camila!!!!!!! Epic fights, events and Camilla just sounds like an awesome kickass girl.

The title of this book perfectly sums up this last instalment of Jude and Tor. The authors bring it up a notch and takes the reader on a journey of blood, death and destruction from the get go. There’s no other way for Jude and Tor to take back what is rightfully theirs other than raze the cartel to the ground. If you are squeamish, then War is not for you. If you are planning to read this while eating, I would suggest you don’t. Find yourself a nice quiet corner and get stuck in because once you start in with book 4, it’s a little difficult to put the book down. You are dragged from page to bloody page as you navigate the impossible with both Jude and Tor.

Tor comes into her own again in War. She stands up and becomes the fierce mother we all know she is, this time with a little more fire in her belly. It’s all for her daughter. Everything she does, she does it for her. I think she even surprises herself at the depths she goes to. There’s only one thing she stumbles over, which ultimately becomes the beginning of the end and sets in motion a chain of events even she can’t walk away from. Jude is right by her side despite the grievances they share. This couple has that kind of love that is unbreakable and War reinforces their relationship. Make or break, live or die – they both sacrifice for their daughter.

But Jude is a clever, clever man. He may only be a bookie but he’s never to be underestimated. This man has blood on his hands and has no qualms in collecting more. His focus becomes his grit, he is trying to save his women. A difficult task when one of them is hell bent on throwing spanners at every opportunity. Gabe is a worthy secondary character who plays a big part in the unfolding story, I loved his ways and his quips. For a grumpy man, he was certainly endearing.

There are so many emotions wrapped up in this story, and I think for me the last book, Wire, perhaps lacked this. But in War it’s there in spades. There are so many emotional scenes that it sometimes takes your breath away, a welcome reprieve from the bloodshed, still cutting all the same. Jude’s anger morphs into something more potent in this book, we feel betrayal, love, friendship – a myriad of heartfelt emotions knock the reader for six. Throw in the fact that the main theme of this book is revenge and you can imagine the tangle the reader ends up in. I found myself a time or two with a lump in my throat as I read of two parents and their child. It compels the reader to root for both Jude and Tor despite the way they go about it. A parent’s love knows no bounds.

Again, the author’s writing is engaging and their scene setting is on point. I couldn’t tell one author from the other, which I think is crucial when co-authoring, makes for a seamless read. Stevie J Cole and LP Lovell have built a vivid world of cartel gangs and undying relationships, stamped their authority all over this genre and give readers what they are looking for with this kind of storyline. I saw one repetitive phrase which stood out for me, maybe others won’t notice but it was there nonetheless and the only thing I would grumble over, otherwise…fantastic.

Perfect ending to the story of the bookie and his love. It needs to be left there, no more Jude and Tor for their story has been told, and told well. If you’re looking for something exciting, something raw and gritty, a beautiful love story then look no further than this series of books. All four are enjoyable and riveting and will take you on the ultimate dark ride. Recommended reading if you like your stuff on the dark and bloody side. Buckle up, you need seat belts for this one.

Als alleen keiharde wraak overblijft.

Jude is gebroken.

Let me start by saying that I really like this author. I really enjoyed the first two books of this series, not so much the third and fourth. Let me explain.

Just want to throw out the disclaimer so I don't get any shamers here that I do understand that this is a book and it is fiction. That said, I do believe that things that people know to be true, should still be true in books. So a little bit of a spoiler alert here...the court system does not work this way and the trial would have never happened the way it was presented in the book which then makes the story line less, just less. If they had paid off jurors or there was a corrupt judge or anything along those lines it have been more believable and less frustrating. The whole interaction with the FBI was hard to read.

I felt like Tor's character really starting taking a nose dive towards the end of the second book and definitely in the third and fourth. She is initially presented as this very sharp, intelligent woman, but yet she keeps making really stupid choices and the same dumb decisions repeatedly expecting complete forgiveness and rescuing each time after a complete and repeated betrayals. The Mexican cartels and Russian mafia are dangerous, everyone knows this--but Tor can just do as she pleases-walk right in and trick them to get what she wants. Again, there are things that everyone knows to be true that should still be true in books in order for it to be believable.

The books also got very repetitive meaning that the same motivations and character thoughts were repeated over and over to the point that it really started to rake on my nerves and I just really wanted it to be over. The banter also got old because it got repetitive with no benefit of advancing the story, building the characters, giving insight into the story, etc. Most of the time it just made Tor look weak.

With that said, I would recommend the books as for some people my hangups may not matter.
