This book has grown on me as it goes along. Nowhere near the best I have read with the writing style somewhat amateur, but netherless, I will be purchasing book 2 (against my better judgment) as it's very expensive at $5.48!! I would willingly pay this for a Callie Hart etc. But I always see a book to the end.
The storyline is ok, the main characters are somewhat well written but for some reason I am finding it hard to get into it?
Jude is portrayed as a monster but I find him anything but. He has a heart even if the author wants you to believe otherwise? But i like him, he just has demons I'm sure he can overcome with a good woman by his side. Tor (Victoria) is a likeable strong character with a heart. I feel for her with everything she is put through but she is mentally tough and I know she will come out the other side fine (if a little Fkd up).
Although I hate paying the $ amount for pt2 I do want to know more and am hoping it will be slightly better written?
If you don't want to pay $5+ for book 2, I suggest you don't read this one. It won't be a great loss if you don't...there is a lot better you could be reading.
This is a little dark, a little sexy and a little romantic.
Hoping for a little bit more out of pt2.

I literally have nothing to say. My head is a kaleidoscope of emotion, my body is tense and for the first time ever I'm unhappy I have to wait for the next book but so, so pleased I can catch my breath before it comes out. Amazing author, absolutely amazing.

What a cliffhanger!!!! Read this in an afternoon and it was really good. Had tears in my eyes for the last 15 mins of the book. One moment in particular ripped my heart out...but I won't spoil it. Loved Jude and Tor and the whole messed up situation.

4.80 stars - Victoria and Jude’s evolving relationship is an interesting one... The story starts off with Jude being on pursuit to revenue kill the elusive Joe Campbell. Victoria (or Ria/Tor) somehow ends up at Jude’s as a security hold for a debt to be paid.

So there’s this emotional rollercoaster going on between being held kidnapped and having this sexual chemistry she has for Jude. Jude happens to feel the same way sexual and for at least 60% of the dual points of view we hear them repeatedly reminding us how screwed up the situation is. Because it really was.

So in typical Stockholm syndrome fashion, Victoria falls for her captive. And in the end she was concerned that if she stayed longer with him, she’ll fall even deeper for him. So off she goes to London - the story ends with a phone call from Joe that he has captured Victoria - and that was where we are left with the cliff hanger.

    ★✩★✩★ 5+ – Wrong Never Felt So Right – Stars ★✩★✩★
~this review may contain minor spoilers~

~Politicians, preachers, cops: they're all my clients, and as long as they pay, there's not a problem. I'm a businessman and I take my job very seriously.
You f*** with me, I'll kill you, because no one takes anything as serious as death.~

Victoria moved to America to find her own freedom, make a life for herself how she chooses and live the life she makes. All to have it snatched away in the blink of an eye when she becomes collateral for a debt she doesn't even owe. Thrown into a world she doesn't understand, where she doesn't belong, friends and enemies are one and the same and nothing is as it appears. It isn't long before she questions everything she is and the freedom she always so desperately craved is a thing of the past, and something she isn't even sure she wants anymore.

Jude is a third generation bookie, the most brutal in the business. Everyone knows never to screw with him, you pay or you die – simple as that. Killing has always come easy to him, til her. He questions everything about her, from the reason she landed on his doorstep to his reluctance of killing her. She makes him feel things he doesn't understand, and he doesn't do feelings, and it all just ticks him off. Being around her sends his already volatile temper though the roof and it only gets worse the more he learns about her. Just when he thinks he already has his hands full, an enemy from his past makes an appearance and all hell breaks loose.

~What doesn't kill us makes us stronger, and sometimes life doesn't play fair. You have to evolve to survive, and that's exactly what I'm doing. I've evolved. I've become who I need to be in order to survive~

Words cannot describe how freakin amazing this book was ~ just be prepared, it is most definitely is a dark read, not for the faint of heart but so totally worth the agonizing journey. I'm not gonna dive too deep into the story, this really is one you should just experience as it comes. Danger lurks around every corner, each page is steeped in tears and fear, surprises come at you out of nowhere, it was a non-stop ride from start to finish and the writing was flawless, totally captivating. Victoria was an incredible woman, she refused to go down without a fight even when it seemed hopeless, even when it made things worse. Jude is a crazy SOB with so many layers I can't ever see getting to the bottom of them. He cheesed me off, turned me on, and ticked me off some more. Surrounded by enemies and no one she can trust, constantly living in fear, broken down in inconceivable ways, Tor turns into a woman she hardly recognizes and the lines between right and wrong start to blur. The entire book is spent in constant state of tension all leading up to an ending that left me screaming at my kindle desperately wanting to know what happens next and kinda itching to hunt down the authors for driving me more than slightly insane. I don't know when the next book is due out but I will be climbing the freakin walls waiting for it.

~A dark, twisted corner of my mind revels in the danger that he represents and rises to the challenge. I'm all too aware of how wrong that is. I have lost everything, and in having nothing to lose, the danger he promises has become an adrenaline shot to my broken and dying soul.~

    Happy Reading xo Jenn@BookwormBetties

Omg this book has blown me away and left me wanting more, its dark violent sexy and erotic. Jude is a man you dont get involved with but underneath the hard man persona is a man that has a heart but cant let himself show it as its kill or be killed. I would fall in love with him too! Great read i will so be reading book 2 in this series.

    Wow!

    Wrong but so right.

I was completely enraptured, caught up in the lives of Jude and Tor and the chaos around them.

Victoria is kidnapped, taken, handed over as collateral for her boyfriend's gambling debts until he pays up, only he never pays up.

Jude runs a gambling business, you don't pay you loose more than your money, he's a hard business man, an alpha male with an edge of darkness .

Jude isn’t in the business of taking people as collateral especially a woman, so when one of his goons brings Victoria back he is fuming angry but has no choice but to hold her in his home.

A twisted Web of lies and deceit, enemies and danger unfolds and as time goes on Jude and Tor's icy relationship begins to thaw.

    Jude:
There are no f**g words for a woman who can soften a heart as cold as mine. I know there is not another woman that will make me feel this way. Nothing this wrong should feel this right.

    Tor:
His proximity makes me shiver, and my heart skitters against my rib cage. Every fibre of me wants him, and I hate that I do.

Brilliant and captivating, gripping and raw finishing with a cliffhanger.

Wrong is part of a Trilogy told in dual pov's hot in all the right places, gritty and dark.

    Soooo looking forward to Wrath.
