Christie Peters has her whole life mapped out for her.

She plans to marry her boyfriend. Pose for wedding pictures at the Plaza. Then take care of her future children while her husband fights for their country. She would be the perfect trophy wife…or not.

But then a new man walks into her life, and Christie takes a temporary break from perfection. Shane introduces her to a world filled with possibilities and unexplainable passion. She starts to doubt every decision she’s ever made.

But the deeper Christie falls into Shane’s world of underground, illegal street racing, her perfect world begins to crumble around her, and things aren’t as simple as they once seemed.

Christie has to choose. Is she willing to settle for safety and security? Because one thing is certain—if she decides to walk on the wild side, there’s no going back.

Sarah Fischer works hard fighting the good fight in personnel security. She graduated with a degree in criminal justice and married the calm to her crazy. Then Sarah had a health scare and needed heart surgery. While recovering, she finally had the time to write the stories playing out in her mind. Her college romantic suspense series, Elton Hall Chronicles, is now available in its entirety on Amazon. First Semester, Second Snowfall, and Third Wheel remind you what you loved about college, show you what you missed, and make you yearn for what could have been. Sarah also has a contemporary short story in the Craving Bad anthology. If you like sweet Christmas stories, she and Kelsey McKnight co-wrote two new stories, Cupid Claus and Royally Abandoned. In her spare time, you’ll find her with a book in her hand, at the movies, or watching just one more episode of reality tv.

This book captured me from the Begining but first you need to know it's the 3rd in the series called Elton hall chronicles! It's a complete stand alone and this time this story is all about Christie!! I have followed this author from the first book and I was so intrigued I had to read the 2nd and now the 3rd! Christie makes a living it up list and adds stuff and that's when she bumps Into bad boy Shane! I think her and Shane had crazy chemistry right off the back!!! Christie was basically in a arranged marriage w her boyfriend rob but when she thinks about she don't want that marriage life anymore she wants to be a normal college student!! This book was a lot different than the first 2 still drama packed with Annabelle and alittle bit of violet!

    Excellent character development.
I loathed half and loved half of them.
Everything I expected to happen was wrong, because the plot twists were better than I could have imagined.
PS: We all have a Mindy, and they are not what we deserve.

5.0 out of 5 stars Christie and Shane are perfect for each other

Christie and Shane are perfect for each other. As I was going through the book, I couldn't figure out what it was about Shane that made him so dynamic. Really, it's just him. He's smooth, and a bad boy, but then he's got this big heart and acts like a goofball. He made this book. I enjoyed this series and I'm sad to see it end.
