    I'm not sure where I stand on rating this book yet because although it's written well with no grammar, spelling or sentence structure problems I'm rather frustrated with Skylar, she's 26 yrs old and very intelligent intellectually but quite immature, as a character we see her take 3 steps forward only to stumble back again and again and I HATE that she keeps slapping his face. The only reason I could keep reading was because of the steps forward but now I'm at the end of the book and I'm wondering if I really want to move on to the next book but as I'm reading the author's brilliance shone through with the way she wrote and structured the dialogue of Brandon's and Miranda's story with Skylar's POV, so here I am deciding my rating despite Skylar whose character can be amazing and insightful at times and a very immature, eye-rolling brat and clearly doesn't make decisions for the right reason's, I mean why wouldn't you take an amazing job that you WANT because you might but unlikely run into that particular someone you're trying to avoid again because of a decision that Skylar didn't want to make but did so just because... THAT'S immaturity. Overall the author has developed both characters back story's of what makes them who they are is well done, I just started to skim pages when Skylar was being and acting like a dumb teenager, I hope she gets a LOT better in book two or I will quit the series.

    I’ll be honest; I downloaded this book because it was free. In fact, it sat on my kindle for a while before I opened it. I wish I hadn’t waited so long, because once I started it I didn’t want to put it down. It’s also difficult to know where to start because there were so many things I loved about Legally Yours.
    Let me start with the characters – the main character, Skylar. I loved her on so many levels. She was intelligent but didn’t think she was better than others. Family came first; she cared first about others before caring about herself, but she called a spade a spade. Brandon was an enigma. He was a private person and so I really wanted to know more about him, not just the facts, but how he felt. You know the characters touch your soul when you feel like taking them aside and having a serious discussion with them about their life choices.
    Even though Legally Yours is basically Skylar’s and Brandon’s story, the secondary characters all played their parts and contributed to their story. Some of them added light to the story, some not so much.
    I loved the story so much I tried to slow down when I was getting closer to the end because I did not want it to end. I was ecstatic when I found there were two more books in the series and their/my journey wasn’t over. I couldn’t buy those books fast enough. However, it was difficult to stop myself from starting the second book, Legally Mine so I could write this review.
    I gave Legally Yours 5 stars.

    This book leaves you on a cliff hanger. So if you want to read part of a couples story then read this. I personally gate starting a book, not knowing this from the start.
    The characters are okay. I found “skyler “ to be a tad annoying and prejudice.

    I loved the journey that Brandon and Skylar went through and that Skylar was such a strong character. The ending was interesting and i wonder what Skylar is going to do now. I have a feeling that her decision is going to be the wrong one and she will regret it in the end. Looking forward to the next instalment.

    What an amazing start to the series. I hate cliffhangers and this one was absolutely torturous.

    I loved it so hard I’m hoping I can get my hands on part 2 and 3 to finish this binge read ASAP!

    When I first saw this book I wanted to read it and thought it would be good. This was so much better than good. I loved it! I was in total shock that this was Nicole's debut novel. It is so well written and developed that it couldn't possibly be true. Don't get me wrong there are some great debut novels out there but usually you can see where there is room for growth on the author's part. You won't find that here. The writing was phenomenal, story plot well thought out and characters nicely developed.

    Nicole does a wonderful job giving us the back story needed to understand Brandon and Skylar better and see how they came to be the people they are. Granted Skylar is a little young compared to Brandon, she hasn't had it easy with her family and past experiences that prevents her from really opening up and trusting, but she has persevered. She is strong, sassy, independent and takes no crap from others. This will make her a great lawyer. Brandon has it all, or does he, with his high powered job, strong, sexy and funny personality. But he is broken from a rough childhood. Skylar thinks he needs to be fixed but maybe he just needs her.

    This is a slow burn romance with enough chemistry that will have you on the edge of your seat. The relationship between Brandon and Skylar is real and relatable while still having a fresh new twist on a Billionaire office romance. You don't want to miss this amazing new author. Get ready for a book hangover that you won't easily get over.

    I couldn't put this book down once I started, I so enjoyed the back and forth of the main characters - I loved how strong Skylar was and how the love story grew.
    Brandon didn't have ANY oops many friends, but the ones he did have were fiercely loyal - then he met Skylar "Red" the love of his life.
    This story starts with a chance meeting of a well known lawyer and almost graduated lawyer. There is instant attraction - but of course past events enter their lives and they butt heads, break up, get back together, break up again - enter ex-wife -> get the picture? Do you love me yet, Red?
    SUCH A GOOD STORY - loved it.

    I really enjoyed reading this book. Brandon is a typical alpha-male, rich and powerful. He always gets what he wants and in this case he wants Skylar. Throughout the story you get to know him better and realize that he is just a regular person which makes him very likable and the perfect hero. Skylar on the other hand is really down-to-earth, although a little annoying at times. She challanges Brandon and does not put up with his behavior, which makes him want to convince her that he is not such a bad guy. Their relationship has its ups and downs and I am really curious about how it is going to develop further. If you don't mind cliffhangers, I can only recommend this book.

    A relationship built on attraction may not have the firmest of foundations, and as things develop between Skylar and Brandon, their pasts and the difficulties within their own backgrounds start to pull them apart.

    This book was a really engaging and consuming story. I really got involved in the dynamics of this couples relationship, and its steady, but sad, spiral into difficulties.

    Told from the pov of Skylar, and with the legal profession as a backdrop, this is book 1 of a trilogy and was left on an unexpected cliffhanger.

    I've read other books by this author, and always find her plots engrossing, the characters complex and arresting with believable chemistry, and I really enjoy her writing style. This book was fantastic, I loved it, and I suspect the Spitfire series is going to be a journey of love that will be completely gripping and ultimately emotionally rewarding.

    Highly recommended for readers who enjoy more emotionally complex contemporary romantic narratives.
