    WOW! When you find the time to actually make a dent in your tbr, infact this one is probably been my latest addition to this list, sometimes you read one and it’s like you’ve hit gold, you read 100s of brilliant books but every so often there’s a Gem, one that stands out from the crowd, one that i’m kicking myself i’ve only just read.     What a rollercoaster, the journey they have to go through it only makes their love go from strength to strength and Livia, the least selfish woman, to go through what she endured, for need of protection and her love for others, to not only break but shatter her own heart, to live and breathe pain and fear, no one deserves the fairy tale ending as much as Livia and it only makes the happiness so much sweeter, so much heart felt and so much closure!

    Gray, another alpha to add to my list! Demanding, controlling, determined, forgiving and god does he love hard! dirty talking and the Hotness and sex appeal
    oozes from him!

    i loved the darkness of the story, going in blind was probably the best thing i could have done. but so much light comes from it too, the warmth and happiness. It’s an mind- blowing story thats going to stay with me !

    Livvy and Gray are soul mates and five years ago they had just got engaged until her father ruined it all with his habits. To save her sister Livvy has to vanish, to protect Gray she has to stay hidden.

Angst, turmoil and suspense left me wrung out like a wet noodle only to be built up again to a higher crescendo as the plot thickened and dark secrets were revealed. I was blown away! I'm a huge fan of K.L. Kreig's paranormal series and was excited to read her contemporary work. She has a gift for creating alpha males with overprotective tendencies that flourish, while enabling the heroine to simultaneously thrive. Her newest characters surpassed my expectations. I am excited about her first book in The Colloway Brothers series and look forward to Luke, Asher and Connelly's stories as well.

    I just..... I just can't even.....

    There's about 3-5 quotes/statements, whatever you want to call them, that in all my reading over the last few years have imprinted so brightly into my psyche, that I can't ever let them go. Those are the little words that help me when I'm feeling down, help ground me, help cheer me up, help me believe in romance. Some of these words may not mean much to someone else and may not make sense as to why they sit so strongly with me - and to be honest.... a couple of them - I don't even know! I just know they hit a spot on my heart. And then BAM! What do you know.... Kelly shoves a paragraph in my face that joins those rare few others, that will forever sit imprinted (think a-la Jacob in Twilight!) These are the words you can recite exactly as they are written and know exactly which book they came from.

    Not at all surprisingly, this book - like it's novella - is gorgeous. The story picks up exactly where the novella left us hanging - so you MUST read "Finding Gray" first!

    There is just the right amount of angst, without slowly killing you with frustration and wanting to throw your Kindle at the wall. Just enough that you feel it and Hope against all hope that it can be overcome.

    There is just the right amount of "hot" moments, without turning the book into a seedy porno. Just enough to get you a bit bothered and looking for your husband (or wife).

    There is just the right amount of KL Kreig..... which really - there is no such thing as not enough!! Her writing, like everything of Kelly's I have read, is superb. It's emotional, it's heart wrenching, it's love and it's life. It's real.

    I am so excited to be meeting the Colloway boys!!!

    If you are needing a new family to fall in love with - make it these boys!

    4.5 stars. Livia and Gray had a one of a kind of love that was ripped away from them when Livia disappeared without a trace 5 years ago. By chance, Gray and Livia run into each other and Gray wants answers. And he wants Livia back. For the most part, I thought I knew how this story was going to go, seeing that Livia had secrets that she was keeping from Gray and wasn't ready to share them yet. However, there are still surprises unraveled along the way.

    Livia has been living in darkness and afraid of facing Gray again because she's not the same woman that he used to know. If she told him the truth, he would view her differently and she isn't ready for that. For as angry and distraught that Gray was, I actually loved how tenacious he was about keeping Livia in his life and not letting her escape again, that he would do anything to work his way back into her heart and to re-gain her trust. Livia has lived through hell and survived. She knows what sacrifice is and has the scars to prove it, yet Livia will always put her happiness last.

    Not only did I really like Livia and Gray, I also became attached to the other characters introduced in this book and look forward to reading their stories, too. Forsaking Gray is definitely hot and sexy, but there's also heartfelt and heart wrenching moments for what Livia and Gray had to go through. I was also anxious for Gray to find out what Livia had been hiding all along because no relationship can survive on half-truths if they want a chance at a future together and those scenes did not disappoint. Great start of a series and looking forward to reading Asher's book next.
