    Chandler Pierce, once the baby of the Pierce family, is all grown up and I could not be happier! I might get a bit of flak from many Fixed Series fans for saying this, but in my opinion, Chandler was by far my favorite of the two Pierce brothers.

    Always thought of as the “goofball” and making his family cringe for being the darling of the media’s negative attention, Chandler’s personality seemed to sparkle and kept me mesmerized throughout this story. I found his character to be fun, charming, witty, and full of warmth.

    The ever delectable yet, most often arrogant, Chandler meets a fierce competitor in new business associate, Genevieve. With her bold dreams and high expectations, she manages to keep Chandler on his toes - both in and out of the bedroom. Just being near Genevieve, seems to bring something a bit unruly and surprising out in our unsuspecting playboy.

    Although they both say they do not want a relationship, neither seem to be able to stay away from one another. Over time their physical connection turns more serious and the notorious ladies’ man sees a future he never knew he wanted. But, sometimes the things we want most in life just never can be. Secrets are revealed and nothing will ever be the same.

    I felt that this book was terrific! The only problem I had with it was that it, was simply too short! I wish that Laurelin would write several more novels about Chandler because I could not get enough.

    I hope if you read any of the Fixed Series that you take time to read this book. It will answer some questions left from previous Fixed books and fill you in on what life has been like for the Pierce clan. Most importantly, if you read this I am fairly certain; you will fall in love all over again.

    So Laurelin Paige gave me one of my top five book boyfriend ever in Hudson Pierce. I love Hudson. Love his brooding, controlling alpha personality. Chandler Pierce is nothing like him, but nonetheless amazing in his own ways.

    In Chandler we meet Hudson’s younger brother all grown up. And though he is own man, he does share a confident personality with his brother, just in a different way, but he is charming, sexy and much more easy-going. And seeing him through his eyes, the story is in his point of view, had me laughing at times. He was a man that could laugh at himself easily and did not always take himself serious.

    British Genevive Fasbender is confident, determined and a woman with a plan. She needs to show her father she can be a part of his business, even when all he is just his daughter, and not the strong business woman she is. She definitely has no time for charming, sexy Chandler Pierce. One night. That was all she had to offer him, but she had no idea what a determined Pierce man will do to get what he wants!

    And now Chandler and Genevive are finding themselves mixing both work and pleasure, which cannot possibly end well. Now Chandler, who has sworn off relationships and commitments, wants more with Genevive, even as he does not understand it. Instead of falling at his feet, he has to show her he can be just want she needs. Even if he does not know what exactly that means.

    It was great to enter the Pierce universe again and catch-up with some beloved characters and get to see Chandler as a man. The story was fun, steamy, and hard to put down. I also loved the banter between the two main characters and though they were very different from each other, they seemed to compliment and balanced each other as well. Then throw in a touch of mystery behind the scenes and you have one hot steamy Laurelin Paige romance!

    I give Chandler by Laurelin Paige 4-stars. Happy reading!

    This Chandler story has been sitting in my Kindle for a while now. I have read so many of Laurelin Paige's books it is so hard to read them and read some of my other authors, but I eventually get to them. When I read the Fixed series with Hudson and Alyana, I just couldn't bring myself to read this story. I read about him when he was in Gwen's story, and I just thought he is so young what could he offer to a story like this. I am glad I waited to read Chandler after I read Slay with Edward Fasbender and of course I favorite person to hate Celia Warner aka Celia Fasbender. I like Genevieve. I am glad that Chandler found someone he could love. I am so surprised sometimes how Laureline puts these stories together and allows for nemesis of each other, Hudson and Celia to become changed people. We know that Hudson had a part of creating the person Celia use to be until Edward. To get back to Chandler and Genevieve and how we find out that she is more like her father and a little like her mother than her father would ever want to know. It is so good to fantasize about the lives of wealthy people. These billionaires, some by reason of their birth and others by building their own empire and then we see even though they are ruthless in business that the love of a woman can change a person for the better. I read the first three books of Slay before I read this story and I am so glad I did. I am constantly being pulled into the world of the Filthy Rich Billionaires and the lives created by Laurelin Paige and I am so glad to have found this author.

    I loved and adored this sexy, romance. It thrilled me to enjoy this amazing story. Many thanks to this brilliant author, Laurelin Paige. I have just loved this entire series, especially this one as well!!

    This is my first book in fixed trilogy. Honestly, I picked this book only for Genevieve Fasbender. I was intrigued by her after reading Slay Quartet. Even though I haven’t read about Hudson, it feels like I know about him after reading Slay Quartet.

    Chandler is youngest baby brother of Hudson. He has always been in the shadow of his older brother but now he’s working at Pierce Industries. He gets to do more of what he loves, mixing business with pleasure. Genevieve Fasbender is sexy, intelligent, confident, and British. Genevieve knows exactly what it’s like to be part of a family where your opinion always comes second to your older brothers. She always feels the pleasure of proving herself even though she is more than capable.

    Entire story is told in Chandler POV. Chandler and Genevieve meet at a fundraising gala. Since Hudson was unable to attend, Chandler goes in his place and it only takes some time for Genevieve to capture his attention. Both end up in one-night stand. Days go by and two ends up again face to face in Pierce industry office again. When Chandler asks for repeat performance Genevieve declines. Now will Chandler be able to keep up to his name of playboy? Will they be developing real feelings for each other?

    Overall for me Chandler was total disappointment. He felt juvenile and petulant instead. Genevieve would have done loottttt more better. In the end however he did give his big brother good competition and he did showcase he has more personality than a playboy impersona. This book can be read as standalone. No need to read Fixed Trilogy and Slay Quartet
