I purchased the first book a good while ago but had never gotten round to reading it with having children and work life. I finally read it and then purchase the 2nd duet book Find Me only to receive the copy of the 1st book free me in the Find Me cover.

    I want to start by saying this book took me on one hell of an emotional roller coaster and I love that Laurelin can do that so effortlessly! This woman has an amazing way with words and the way she makes them connect with the reader is phenomenal. I couldn't wait to get into this book after the way Free Me left off and I can honestly say that this book didn't disappoint. The story was gripping, exciting, frustrating and it broke my heart, no shattered it and then glued it back together. I was lured in from the very first few lines and like the addict I am (with Laurelin's writing) I devoured every word with the need to find out what was to come and where this journey was going to take me.

    Another thing Laurelin has an amazing skill for is creating characters that stay with you no matter how long it has been since your last fix. Most of the characters we already know from the Fixed Trilogy and Free me and its always nice getting reacquainted with them. Gwen and Norma always make me want a sister of my own! I love Gwen and I love all sides of her, she is the very definition of a strong woman. I still love JC in all his alpha goodness. Its also nice to hear from Alayna and Hudson because I do miss those two! There are other characters but I will leave you with some surprises.

    All in all this book has all of Laurelin's finest traits which for me ticks all the right boxes. It has the ability to leave you breathless and fill you with absolute joy at the same time. Its a book that captures the heart and holds it hostage until its done and it holds no prisoners. Its one I will come back to time and time again.

    I downloaded Find Me the minute I finished reading Free Me because I couldn't wait even one second to find out what was going to happen next.

    We finally learn the full story behind JC's fiancee's death and the extent of the danger he's in. JC really wants to protect Gwen, but he can't stay away from her even though he risks exposing her. Though they are initially a little wary of one another, their relationship pretty much picks up where they left off.

    There is the added complication of Chandler who has unfortunately grown attached to Gwen and he hovers around making a nuisance of himself. Gwen feels rotten that she ever indulged him, and she's also carrying a massive chip on her shoulder over Cory. She very much feels like she's playing second fiddle, even though JC never treats her like that. It's pretty much all in her head. JC is still quite controlling, but he's a real sweetheart too.

    This book ticked all the boxes - great plot development, complex characters, superb writing, and lashings of the steamy stuff.

    I enjoyed reading about Alayna and Hudson and I'm definitely going to check out their book. I'm totally hooked on this series now, and can't wait to read more from this author.

    All in all, an epic read.

    (This review contains SPOILERS) I had previously read free me and looked forward to reading find me. I did like this book but it took on a direction i wasnt expecting it to go. I also felt that this book even though its long, rushed in places, Gwen drove me made at times im sorry to say and the whole SPOILER relationship with chandler was so annoying, i really did feel that the whole thing with chandler was just so he could have his own book (which he is getting) I can understand why gwen ended up having a fling with Chandler but it was the whole "i dont love him i love JC but could i be happy with chandler" annoyed me, even with JC back on the scene shes still thinking she might end up having a HEA with chandler! The baby storyline didnt need to be written the way it was either, we all knew it would be JCs but i guess we needed more from chandler just to prolong the "love" triangle
    I did like how the story ended and im so glad things worked out for gwen and JC, overall it was a nice read and Laurelin is an amazing writer, the bonus for me was also being able to read more with laynie and hudson, i missed these guys and would love a further book with them. (the fixed trilogy is a fav of mine)

    The first book i gave a 4 star but this was better.
    The story had me gripped and its probably the best book i have read this year,
    I loved the fixed trilogy and i just love the way this author draws you into the characters world and feelings.
    You never knew what twist or turn this story was gonna take. jC was a great character and him and gwen were lovely together.
    It was such a good mixture of sex. love and lust. There was actually a good story as well. Recently i have read so many books that are
    just so predictable and is just sex and more sex. Find me had more depth and suspence. I also liked the fact that it was 2 people in there
    late 20's early thirtys because i have read lots of books about college kids and prefer my books to have a bit of older characters in them.
    All in all a fab read and not sure what to read next that could be as good. Now off to my Amazon book shelf supply. Any good book requests?

    Fab! This is the second book in the Gwen and JC story. It is set just about a year after the first part, after Gwen had decided that she couldn't take up JC's wonderful last minute proposal and had returned to her life. Though it was more of an existence because she had regrets about her decision. Gwen hasn't had a real relationship since, only a very casual arrangement that she's not too happy with as she thinks he's starting to get attached. Not one to give anything away in a review, circumstances change and Gwen is forced to make a whole load of new decisions when her life changes dramatically again, when JC reappears on the scene.

    There were a couple of heart attack moments that had me gasping at the turn of events. Loved this series and will be reading the rest when they come out. Would definitely recommend!

    Laurelin Paige continues to astound me with her writing prowess! This second book in the FOUND duet gutted me. Enthralled me. Saturated me in sheer emotion. Filled with passion and angst, and shocking twists and turns, FIND ME is brutal and beautiful, mesmerizing and mysterious, hot and sexy ….everything you’d come to expect from a Lauren Paige erotic romance. But then she did something totally unexpected. She raised the bar even higher And while I loved, loved, loved the original FIXED trilogy (Hello? Hudson Piece? Need I say more?), let me tell you, JC sure gave my number one book boyfriend a run for his money! And, in many ways, this hero was more real for me than Hudson. Although he too was a man of mystery, there was nothing aloof about him. JC exuded so much warmth and tenderness and impish boyish charm…and love. It was always, always about the incredible love he felt for Gwen. He would do anything—sacrifice his own happiness, if necessary—to keep her safe. To bring her to the heights of pleasure. And it was really gratifying to see how much her character evolved throughout these two books. Starting off as the ultimate ice queen who survived a horrific childhood by going numb, she learned through the power of JC’s loving ministrations what it meant to feel. REALLY feel. Even if it brought her to the brink of pain and anguish and despair. Another highlight for me in this book is that we got lots of fun interaction with key players from the original trilogy. First and foremost, Hudson and Alayna…which, in my opinion, you can NEVER get too much of, as well as Norma and Boyd, and Hudson’s “not so little” brother Chandler.

    Ultimately, this beautiful, heartstopping finale to Gwen and JC's love story proved to be emotional roller coaster ride filled with incredible highs, crushing lows, culminating in an edge-of-your-seat ending that took my breath away!
