    I thought that Beck was very hot and sexy and Natalie very beautiful and sexy as well, a beautiful couple, the story line was wonderful and made you just want to keep reading to know what was going to happen next, and how it was all going to end. Maggie Marr this was an excellent book and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in hot sexy hit men and bodyguards.

    Give me a good romantic suspense any day and I'll be staying up until the last page. But life knows how to kick out sometimes and unfortunately my reading time took a knock recently so I'm a bit behind.

    Let me start by saying that this is a fabulous story about Natalie who is a Hollywood starlet who has acquired a stalker and Beck, the security specialist who is assigned to protect her.

    I was surprised with how much I connected with Natalie considering she was supposed to be a rich, spoiled star. One of the reasons I don't fawn over celebrities in general is because sometimes the media builds them up so much only to knock them down when something bad happens. As fans of their work, we are driven to forget that they are human beings and fallible because of the high pedestal they are placed on.

    What the author does wonderfully here is make Natalie a human being. She was so relatable that I empathised with her right from the start. We got to see the glamour as well as the lonely woman with one friend, one agent, no family and just work. It made me understand that there is a price for fame and sometimes that price can be too high. It certainly would be for me. I couldn't imagine a life without my family or friends. Beck was efficient in his job I guess for a man with his history, he has to be. But I wanted something more from him. I took me a while to connect with him.

    The story moves along at an even pace and the balance between suspense and romance is done very well. I was flipping through wondering who the stalker. Beck and Natalie sparked with passion from the start and I was cheering for them until the end. It was interesting meeting the rest of the Graystone security team. There's certainly a series in here and I hope to read more about them.
    A heart-thumping read. One for every fan of romantic suspense.

    I was provided an advance review copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Five Stars all the way. This story grabbed me right away. Beck's character is a little Jason Bourne ish hot hot hero with some memory lapse. He is hired by Greystone with the intent of protecting Natalie a young Hollywood star in danger. Natalie is nothing he expects, she is strong independent and hard working. I love the development of the relationship between these two. The supporting characters are also very interesting.This book has lots of twist, turns and surprises never a dull moment. There is semi closure in this book but lots left unanswered looking forward to the next installment

    This is the first book in the new Hollywood Hitmen series by Maggie Marr. It's about Natalie Warner, a beautiful star on the rise, and Beck Tatum, her bodyguard. She's under some serious menace; he has many sad things in his past. Beck will become her protector, but soon he'll be more than that... This is a really addictive book which gets together a really steamy romance and a lot of action and intrigue. The characters are really interesting and attractive in many senses. The main villain, always in the dark, is a really scary character, which makes Beck's and Natalie's courage even more remarkable. An excellent start for a new series. I'm looking forward to reading the next installments.
