    Lightweight over long storyline although easy holiday reading. But Carey really needs to get to grips with whoever does her editing, wrong timelines, missed wording and Clay being undressed by Courtney and then being undressed again on the next page? Won't be buying any more books if this irritating trait is an example.

    I impatiently waited for the release of this book. I dropped everything I was doing to read it because I was so excited to read it. let me tell you I was not I repeat not disappointed. My god is cloning from a book available yet because Clay is to die for. I love the conversations between the characters they are natural and real. Carey Heywood your writing is beautiful and I will never get enough of your books. Oh and did I mention it's smoking hot....let me just say there is a certain scene talking on the phone......you know you want to read it now. ;)

    The fact that I love Carey Heywood books is not old news, I love her and her books. But this book was another story I loved it from the first to the last page. Carey can captivate you from the first sweet word or from the first sad moment until the last page to see the final of the situation, and its a ride you will enjoy.

    Clay was a character I feel in love in no time, and he got something that just captivate my attention, he was not only sweet he was sensual also sexual. He knew how to be a man but also how to be a friend, he could be a lover also he could be the kind of one night stand you wish you have or had. Clay is just my dream guy everything in one sexy lovable body.

    Before I talk about the relationship he and Courtney had let me talk about Courtney.
    Courtney was a strong character, who was first in love but sadly he was not much of in love. And what I love the most about her is that she was strong, she didn't let the guy put her down, she fight to move forward and this is something I like to read, cause we, women, are strong if we get our heart broken, of course we will cry but we know were we stand and were is the best to go from that point. So yes I loved this girl she is one hell of a character!

    Now Clay and Courtney they are just ADORABLE together, when you read this book all the chemistry, the love, the friendship they have together is lovely to read. They both care so much for each other and also want to get through everything together, I just fjdnlaskfdjna I CAN'T OK I CAN'T!

    So because of all of this I don't why you have not read this baby, trust you will love him. He is a nice, hot guy to read. You will love this book trust me on that.

    Courtney Grayson verliert am einem unglückseligen Tag ihren Job, ihren Verlobten und ihr komplettes Leben.

    Auf der Suche nach einem neuen Weg trifft sie Clay Bradshaw.

    Und da dieses Buch in der Romantik-Ecke angesiedelt ist, muss ich ja nicht groß sagen, was passiert.

    Dazu kommen noch ein paar Irrungen und familiäre Wirrungen, um die an sich glasklare Story zu ummalen.

    Ich habe das Buch recht schnell durch gelesen, hab es soweit genossen und werde wohl auch den Folgeband (mit anderen Protagonisten!) Yesterday's Half Truths ordern - für den nächsten freien Sonntag.

    Leider wird die Neben-Geschichte über Clays Schwester zum Ende nicht aufgeklärt, aber vielleicht hat Carey Heywood hier einfach noch Stoff für mögliche Nachfolgebücher in der Hinterhand.

    Die Sprache ist für Nicht-Muttersprachler, die sich an seichte Lektüre auf Englisch trauen, problemlos zu lesen.

    Den 5. Stern habe ich zurück behalten, weil mir zum absolut fesselnden Buch einfach noch ein I-Tüpfelchen fehlte. Aber ansonsten gute Unterhaltung!

    Leichte Lektüre für Zwischendurch mit Happy End. Man hätte etwas mehr daraus machen können, vielleicht wenn es ein paar Unstimmigkeiten, Probleme oder andere Spannungen in der Beziehung gegeben hätte...
    So war alles ein bisschen zu glatt und die letzten 20% auf meinem Kindle waren leider langweilig. Ansonsten eine nette Lovestory mit einigen detaillierten Sexszenen, die ich nicht an Minderjährige geben würde.
